Name: Moe Talons
Age: 19
Appearance: Moe's Short and spikey red hair sticks out at odd angles, adding to her boyishness. Her face is soft, though, with bright blue eyes almost too big for her face. Her lips have a scar running vertically theough them, caused by some forgotten childhood accident. Her skin seems to be pernamently tanned and Freckles dot her face, chest, shoulders and down her arms, the right shoulder boasting a detailed tattoo of sea life, inspired from her home country. Her frame is small and thin, and she reaches a grand total height of 4"9. Tiny as she is, she looks fragile, but is quite the oppostie, often sporting bandages to cover the numerous scrapes and cuts she seems to get on a regular basis. Several small scars mark her skin from her various clumsy accidents. When not working, she wears jeans and tank tops, with the ocassional button- up open overtop.
Occupation: Waitress to the café under her appartment.
Personality: An endless fountain of energy, Moe is outgoing and freindly to everyone who speak with her. She rarely makes friends, however, but endless acquaintances. If she were to become friends, however, she'd be fiercely loyal and almost protective. While Moe does enjoy jokes and the like, she does know when to be serious. The girl is also hard to push to anger, but will have nothing to stop her from lashing out when she is pushed far enough.
Bio: Spending the first eighteen years of her life in the Australian outback, Moe has a more practical veiw of life, if odd. The town specifically held a grand total of 73 people, 7 of which was her family. With five brothers, along with herself and her father, Moe had little to no female modles in her life, and was always more comfortable among the boys her age playing cricket and baseball, than the girls. Instead of heading to one of the bigger cities for college or universoty, Moe decided to move to america, even if only for a year or so. From here, she got a waitressing job, and a low rent apartment above her workplace. While her life isn't nearly as exciting as anyone else's, she does enjoy it, despite the occasonal bouts of homesickness.

While Moe is content with her life where it is and where it has been, she sometimes gets the feeling that she's missing out on some big part of her life. She knows its slightly silly, but she often feels as if theres another layer to the world, unseen by humans. It became a stronger feeling when she moved across the water, into america. In reaction to this, she's spent her days off in the library, reading the books that would explain the feeling she got, though she never truly believed it. If Moe herself were to explain it, she'd say it felt like the universe was more mysterious than originally thought, and she wanted to know the anwsers, even the impossible ones.
Sighted?: No
Other: Moe doesn't particularly like most sweats, but prefers salter foods like jerky, nuts and chips. Even when she does crave sweets, she'll go for fruits, usually ones that grew around her town instead of candy.

You're allowed to make two characters if you want to, so I'm fine with that. Right now it's two guys and five girls lol

Name: Anthony Eckert "Tony"

Age: 24

Occupation: Beach Lifeguard, Part Time Bartender, and wannabe pro surfer.

Personality: (reveled in IC)

Bio: Tony is, for the most part, a pretty normal guy, minus the fact he sees freaky looking things, that no one else can...

Tony was raised by a single mom named Hilary; his father left before he was even born. Being without his father didn't bring him and his mother close, like in many cases, because even though he loved her, he resented her for always taking off with random boyfriends and leaving him to fend for himself, for days on end. He learned from a very early age that no one else could see what he could, and he was pretty sure he was crazy, and it was all hallucinations. Though his mother would always try to reassure him that he was not crazy, and she would tell him about her grandmother, who had told her stories as a young girl, about things called Shades, and that every few generations people in there family were born with a gift to see these Shade creatures. These tales and stories, didn't really help him feel normal, or happy. So he learned to ignore and pretend he couldn't see 'Shades'.

When he was thirteen his mother was diagnosed with lung cancer, and he was her caretaker for the next two years until she died. He felt completely alone in the world. Being only fifteen the state placed him in short term foster care until the could find a family member to take him in. Three weeks later he met his Aunt Sue for the first time. He remembered his mother saying she had a older sister a few times, That Sue was from her fathers first marriage and she was ten years older then her. But that was basically it. So he moved to California to live with her.

He had thought his aunt was one of those spinster, cat ladies that you hear about, Her house was cluttered with collectible teacups, and porcelain figurines, she had six cats who were all named after famous poets. And she spent most of her time sewing quilts, doing jigsaw puzzles, and watching soap operas on tv. But Tony got to know his aunt better as time passed. She had been married once, to a man named Ross, and they had two children together. Tragically they all died in a house fire 17 years ago, and then she became a shut in. She was a kind woman, and let Tony do as he pleased, as long as he was home before ten, and didn't fail any classes in school.

Life went on he made friends in school, got a girlfriend, and learned to surf. And finally he was eighteen and graduating high school. His Aunt offered to pay for college but he just wanted to start his own adult life. So he got a job as a lifeguard, and moved in with his friend Ben. Spending his free time surfing, and trying not to feel crazy.

Now he is 24, with his own apartment, and two jobs.

Other: Saldly of the few girlfriends he has had they all ended quickly after he told them he could see things. Schizophrenia, hallucinations, cry for attention, active imagination, physic abilities... among other things, were what his exs chopped it up to.

Human Alias: Leiselotte Gray
Age: 18
Appearance: She has long messy black hair which she sometimes braid it(not wavy just messy). Leis has ivory skin . Her height is 5'5. Her eyes are silver and has a small shade of yellow below her pupil. But sometimes her eyes turn into typical fox eyes. She has a small nose and pink lips. She has fangs that are not that long but could cut through her prey's throat. Leis is thin but she has small muscles. She has a tattoo of her clan on the right side of her face down to her right arm. She has grey fox ears and a long tail that has a white tip on it.
Façade:

Personality: She can be a bit loud but most of the time she's silent. Just like a typical fox, she doesn't like crowds. She stays in places where people don't really flock together and where she can have some peace and quiet. Leis can get easily attached with people whom she think is nice. She doesn't really care what people think of her and minds her own business all the time. She's the type who doesn't follow her heart but thinks first in every situation. She's doesn't express herself that much and keeps everything to herself and deals with it alone. She is also tough....

Bio: Leis' knew nothing about being a shade until she turned into her true appearance while facing the sinister shade that tried to attack her. After defeating the shade, she found herself in front of an abandoned house. When she touched the door, a memory of a couple came rushing in. Silvia and Jordan were shades. He met her in the forest when he got lost. Silvia helped him find his way back. Since then, Jordan kept thinking about her and only to find out he fell in love with the kind Silvia. So he decided to go back in that forest again and looked for her. Both of them met once again in the same spot where they first met. They fell in love with each other and became lovers. Jordan actually took Silvia away with him after knowing that Silvia's parents did not approve being their daughter's lover or future husband. It may sound like he kidnapped her but she actually let herself be taken away by him. After how many months, Leis was born. They lived as a happy family but only in a short time. Silvia's parents soon knew about her and Jordan. They thought she died but after knowing she was taken away by Jordan they were in rage. Her parents called out for their relatives and friends to help them retrieve their daughter. They came rushing to them using their powers. Silvia felt their presence from far away and hid Leis. The clan then killed Jordan and took Silvia back to them

Leis then knew that the baby was her since she could smell a small amount of scent of herself inside the house. She had a hard time turning back to her human form and after she did, she came back to her foster parents and asked them questions. Her foster parents knew she wasn't human but still took her in. Leis knew she will never find or see her real father again but she may see her mother. She still had the hope that they'll meet again.

Other: ... ive got no ideas for now...or maybe never.

HappiMe: Just a couple of things.
1. Shades don't have double forms, so if Leis has a "fox side", that would be what she looked like as a Shade all the time. She can't morph between the two unless one is an illusion, which the other Shades and Sighted humans would be able to see through anyway. She can have multiple personalities though.

2. I'm not sure what you mean by "clan". Could you please elaborate for me?

3. By "fox" are you referring to an entirely different race? You use terms like "Shade/fox" and I can't tell if you mean two entirely separate entities. If so, I'm afraid that doesn't fit this RP. Foxes don't really fit into the plot I have in mind and would make this much more complicated than it already is.

When you explain these to me or fix them, I'll be happy to accept Leis :)

Name: Markus Williams
Age: 23

Appearance:

Occupation: Photographer and journalist for a local blog

Personality: Markus is a little conceited, and often can be faulted for overreacting when things don’t go his way, but for the most part he’s a good guy. He has a realistic view of things, and rarely lets his emotions cloud his judgment. His primary motivation will always be his work, at any cost.

Bio: Born to an extremely well-off family, Markus had everything he wanted from day one. His family had the big house, the cool swimming pool, the cars and all the fancy new technology. His childhood was sheltered, growing up in a quiet, relatively safe community. During high school, he found his interests in photography and journalism; he asked his parents for a camera and a new laptop and began work right away.

Around junior year, Markus saw his already below average grades take a dip, as he shifted focus from his academic career to his artistic career. This grabbed the particular attention of his mother, who had already been displeased with Markus’ work ethic. But instead of taking immediate action, she struck him a deal: if he could pull off an overall GPA of 3.5 or better (no small task, as his GPA was at a 2.4 at the time) then she would guarantee Markus’ enrollment in college as a journalism major.

For the next year and a half, Markus put down the camera, working intensely on his academics. Of course, he succeeded, attaining his 3.5 and leaving his home town for college as a journalism major. Armed with the very same camera and laptop he started with, Markus tackled college all on his own.

But independence had its own unique challenges. College was a huge wakeup call for Markus; for the first time, he wasn’t handed anything on a silver platter. His dedication to his passion was great, but Markus lacked the real life skills necessary to make it on his own. Once again, Markus found himself struggling, but this time he had no reliable people to fall back on. He got his first job at a coffee shop at 20, working there to sustain his lifestyle as well as develop work experience he knew would be necessary later on.

Once he was back on his feet, Markus breezed his way through college. The academics came naturally to him, and he found the perfect balance between his academic and social life. After graduating with honors, Markus chose not to return home, instead settling into the college town he had become accustomed to living alone in.

1. im gonna change it. I thought they can be half human and half shade so i thought of that. Anyway im gonna erase that part about fox side and stuff.
2. What i meant by the clan is that her mother was a different group of shades... something like that. but if my reason doesnt make sense i think im gonna have to change everything then.
3. I think im using a difficult term arent i? I actually meant a fox looking kind of shade. Perhaps i should erase the "/fox" .

My apologies for making things complicated. Im pretty new here and im not quite good with putting details into words. I hope i can make an acceptable character.

Okay, added another paragraph that also ties her more into the shades, with a curiosity of the unknown.
