Concept: Unintentional Hero - With this sudden jarr into the life of a Pokemon, especially a hero expected to fight legendary Pokemon on an epic journey, Enthen is very unsure of himself, his involvement and his abilities. He tends to have trouble using his natural powers as a Cyndaquil, having to struggle to ignite the flames on his back.

Trouble: Self-Imposed Incompetence - Enthen is not a very social individual, moreso now that he a Pokemon among so many other different, potentially very harmful Pokemon. This is on top of the responsibility of the Great Seer to journey the world. Overall, Enthen feels he is incompetent and not deserving of the role he's been put under, despite the fact that he could be very powerful if only he tried.

It's likely that people will drop out before or shortly after the game starts. If you'd like me to let you know if/when this happens, I can.

As an aside, I'll most likely break the player characters into small teams of two-three for adventuring rather than going out as a gigantic team.

Concept: Only Sane Man: He sees all the insanity that surrounds the world that others fail to notice and is quite vocal about his discoveries. Quick to spot problems in the way the world works, he is just as quick to point them out. He's also quick to notice faulty logic used by others and turn it against them

Trouble: Only Sane Man: He is surrounded by crazy people and it drives him nuts. Unable to properly cope with the insanity of the world, Caliburn is often prone to fits of rage when logic fails him (which it often does). He is an island of sanity amidst a ranging see of complete crazy...and it haunts him

I'll leave registration open indefinitely but will hold off for a couple more days before posting in the IC in case anyone else wants to join before we start. Concept: Criminal turned hero is what he would think of himsef. Stealing, raiding, and general wrong doing is what he used to do, until one day(will be roleplayed) 'something' happened and he became an actual good person, protecting the weak and stopping the bad he keeps to himself most times, and when not trying to help, acts as though he is some sorta sage.
Trouble: Due to his evil past and happening that made him heroic he has panick attacks frequently.

How are you planning on balancing them, Ampharos? That should be really interesting to set up. I'm a sadist so i would have placed two opposing types with polar personalities and a third who could go either way- which would cause constant arguement and issues on the field.

I'm interested in the teams too; I wonder who will end up wielding Cal

Not bad, not bad. I have a question, however.

As I'm sure you read, your character is a human with no memory of who they were before they were summoned to this world. Did you mean that your character was a criminal before they became a Pokémon, or that your Pokémon was always a Pokémon and just happens to be a criminal turned hero? If the former, then your character would have no memory of their criminal activities and thus not know why he feels the way he does and have panic attacks.

Also, would you mind expanding on your trouble a bit? I'm looking for a medium-sized paragraph, similar to either the example or what others have written before you?

I was going to pop the question shortly after I got the IC up, but I guess I can ask now. Do you guys have any preferences as to who you'd be paired with, and if so, who? We have seven players now plus one awaiting approval plus another who told me that he'll have a sheet done soon. That's nine players, which makes for three teams of three.

If you guys don't have a preference, I'll most likely organize it so that we have no two types on the same team and then, after that, do something based on overall compatibility, e.g. polar opposites. For practicality, I'll most likely put Caliburn on a team with either Streel or Zee since they're the only bipedal characters, though, I imagine that the quadruped characters could hold Caliburn in their mouths.

Also, on that topic, it would be good to have an idea of when you guys are usually around, including what time zone you live in. Ideally, people who are on at the same time would be on the same team so that we could keep the teams moving forward at a steady pace.

I could see Zaraph holding Caliburn but i'm not too fond of the idea of a honedges sash so close to my chara's throat. Really dangerous character you got there, Captor~ I really liked Zee as a character, too, and wouldn't mind being on a team with her c:

My time zone is Eastern Standard time, btw. And i'm in school, so i'll probably be on after 3 every other day for a bit but then off. Most likely i'll be on later at night like at around 8 to 9ish pm. But im trying to sleep at 10 pm so i will not be on after that.
