Name: Blaise

Gender: Female

Species: Vulpix

Ability: Flash Fire

Concept: Trustworthy Companion - Blaise puts others before herself, especially her friends. No matter the situation, she will never run away and at least attempt to help in any way possible. Blaise is honest and loyal to her partners as well as dependable. She dislikes when people try to do things completely on their own without asking for some sort of help, putting themselves on various lines of danger.

Trouble: Self-Critical - Blaise tries to fit all preferable attributes to satisfy others. However, when she fails, the criticism she uses against herself becomes harsh. Often when Blaise becomes disappointed in herself, her mood becomes gloomy and she begins to feel as if she doesn't deserve anything. Pretty much like a typical person in a depression.

Approaches: 9/9

Careful: 2
Clever: 3
Flashy:
Forceful: 1
Quick: 3
Sneaky:

Stunts: "Because I am a level 5 Vulpix, I know Ember and Tail Whip."

Quick question; do our characters at least remember that they were humans? (I assume so because that's how the MD games handled it, but I don't want to assume)

I'm on the U.S. Pacific Coast time zone, and I usually get to post in the evenings at that time (7 pm to 12-ish pm). So there's something for reference.

I don't have any particular preferences or requests for companions, but I can imagine Lucie realizing before too long that it becomes difficult keeping up with some of them on those cute little legs that clearly aren't built for running. I giggle a little on the inside thinking of the exchanges and "solutions" that could occur.

Anyway, schedule-wise, living Mountain Standard Time. My personal schedule allows me from early afternoon through evening. The inverse is that it is absolutely not night-friendly.

Mountain Standard Time for me as well. I can usually post either really early in the morning or in the later evenings during the week, and anytime on the weekends.

As far as teams go, I am alright with Zee wielding Cal if you wish. I also think Zaraph would be quite interesting. Though I don't have a very strong preference, do as you see fit, Ampha. =D

It's nice to have a volunteer.

Also, I'm central time right now. But I'm going to be moving to Utah next month, so my timezone will change

So in general, how will teams be decided? xD

And wouldn't a Moss rock, be likely more common in the 'Middle' zone? xD

Well, I'm back from my trip and managed to complete the sheet on the way back. I'll correct any mistakes tomorrow.

Also, how much knowledge will the former humans retain? Will they know what the Pokemon species are called, how different fruits affect them, etc? Or are they just a completely blank slate?

Edit: Central Time Zone. GMT-6:00

You think Zen Headbutt is an odd move for a Sableye? Ha! That's nothing; Kabutops can learn Absorb and Mega Drain and Gyarados can learn electric type moves from TMs

In general, what I think would be appropriate/interesting.

Though, keep in mind, teams aren't necessarily permanent. It's entire possible, even probably that certain missions would call for certain combinations, and therefore, teams to be switched up.

More than likely, yes. Lucky you.

ExplosiveCrate said Monaghan

Approved.

The canon isn't explicitly clear on this, unfortunately, but it seems like the player character was at least vaguely familiar with most species.

I'd say that human characters retain basic knowledge about the world, including the names and types of most common Pokémon species, as well as some knowledge on more well known berries and other objects. That said, the player characters would recognize Kulero as an Alakazam but not Lugia as Lugia or Kyogre as Kyogre, for example. Likewise, they would recognize Oran Berries as Oran Berries and know they they have healing properties but not any artifacts or treasures.

Regarding Monaghan and any other non-human Pokémon that may eventually be created, I'll give you relevant information as the situation demands. If there's a fact or tidbit of information that I think that Monaghan should already know, I'll share it in private, state it here, or possibly state it the narrative.

If you end up in a situation where you're unsure whether it makes sense for your character to know something, just go ahead and ask.

We're now at 9 players, 10 once Geoffrey updates his sheet. That's plenty of players, I think, so I'll have the IC up on Wednesday afternoon.

Oh yeah, sorry, I had forgotten to subscribe and once I had gotten back we were on a new page and I was to stupid to check back.

I would say yes he was a criminal of a human when he was a human, I guess something along the lines of the process of becoming a pokemon is that backstory there. If not that, then I could just roleplay it out. *Maybe even that he doesn't know he was a human and being said pokemon gives him a whoe new look at life though he at times wil remember something, giving him a panick attack*

Alakazam can know Iron Tail.

I want to keep the backstory as to who the characters were as humans somewhat vague, just like in the canon, but I don't mind that your character "remembers" certain feelings related to performing certain acts, if you get what I'm saying.

I just find it weird for a pokemon to get an 80 BP psychic attack as a level 0 attack.

In any case, can't wait until the IC goes up. Now all I need to do is find out who's the most gullible of the group.
