Cassandra glanced at him when he said about earning the wars, tail and teeth. She shrugged, "I don't really care about all that. I've never been worried about my looks" she said genuinely, "it's not going to deter me from becoming an exorcist, even if it does mean having to cut holes in all my pants" she gave a small smile, and another shrug.

She looked down at her hand again, and the mark that branded her, "we should" she agreed, reaching over and taking out what was their designated homework "like with class work?" She asked looking up, over at Lorenzo. She wanted to talk some more, to catch up on so many years, to maybe try and piece together why they had been seperated.

As he slowly faded back into consciousness a low groan escaped his lips. I can't believe I passed out over that little thing. Ren thought, referring to the demon that had latched onto his hand. So embarrassing, Olivia better not tell the others. He glanced around the room that he was in. It had an two beds, one empty and the other was occupied by himself, two desks and two closets. So this is my dorm then? I can't believe they dragged me all the way over here. I wonder what everyone else is up to.

Slowly dragging himself out of bed and watching the pressure he put on his hand he eventually stood up, and walked outside of his room. Might as well get my bearings on the place. Maybe I'll look for the others. He shuffled down the hallway taking a glance out every window, not in too much of a hurry. He walked up to the top floor, mainly wanting to find the roof access to get a better lay of the land. He stopped. Are those voices?.. Yeah... from inside that door. Maybe I'll see who it is. He found it odd that this was the only room on the floor that he had heard any noise from. He approached the door and knocked. "Hello? Is anyone there?"

Cassandra jumped at someone knocking on the door, glancing to Lorenzo as she slipped her glove back on her marked left hand, "You see, that's what you do at a door, knock" She said with amusement, rising and going over to the door. She opened it, still smiling, to see Ren there. "Well,you look horrible" She said brightly, "But I was reading up on temptaint before coming here, and that's only right, given that the demon just doesn't wound your flesh, but your spirit too"

She leaned against the door frame, wondering why Ren had knocked on the door, "Did you want anything?" Cassandra asked, "We were just going to start on that homework Professor Oliva gave us, if you wanted to join" She imagined that Ren was more learning by doing, then learning by book work, so offering a little help wasn't a bad thing. "You just need to find another chair"

Lorenzo got his class work ready on his desk to work with his sister as he heard the door knock he quickly put his glove back on rolling his eyes at his sister "whatever" he said smirking as he hid his tail then waved when he saw ren "must have hurt like hell" Lorenzo said masking his bite from the demon but Lorenzo knew it had to be a goblin otherwise it would have just been overkill. "Yeah shouldn't be too hard to do the homework" Lorenzo said since it was just about the classification they wanted to be in the future

Kiddo sat in his room alone, nobody was there to be his room mate. He didn't like being alone but it was okay. Kiddo looked at his sword and smiled. He thought it was beautiful.The slick black of the blade made him think of night time. It was mesmerizing. After a little while he heard some loud noises come from the other room. one voice sounded like Cassandra and the other Lorenzo, after about 5 minutes everything was quite again. If it was Cassandra and Lorenzo he had easy access to people that could help him with homework. Then after another 20 minutes some more voices appeared. One was of course Ren. Kiddo could tell that voice any where. It had that weird tone to it, a tone that made your brain instantly know who was talking.

Finally kiddo started doing his homework, but had no pencil or pen to write with. So he went to the next room and knocked on the door.

So it's Cassandra's room then? Why is she all the way up here? Ren thought as the girl answered the door. "Yeah, How I look definitely matches how I feel." It was true. He was totally drained. All he wanted to do really was sleep, but it wasn't late enough yet. It might interrupt his sleep cycle. He heard a second voice from behind Cassandra, it was much more masculine sounding. Her roommate must be pretty butch then huh? He said internally, as he peaked over her shoulder. LORENZO?... Wh-what the hell is he doing here? These two were sharing a room? WHAT? Was that why they were all alone up here? Well that's just not fair, why don't I get a cute roommate? "Yeah man, I thought my blood was on fire. Felt like an internal hot tub almost, but with boiling water." He said to Lorenzo.

Homework?? Oh god, I totally forgot my packet. Maybe I'll just look on theres and copy the answers as we figure them out. I think that'd work... yeah definitely. "Yeah, I suppose I should probably start that huh?" He said to Cassandra..

Some time after starting the homework that was due a knock came at the door.

Cassandra had to hold back laughter as she saw Ren's face when he spied Lorenzo. She nodded, and smiled as she returned to her desk, placing her mother's picture back on the desk as she did so, taking out a notepad and some pens, and without a word, tore out a couple of pages for Ren, and along with the pages, gave him a pen.

She was writing quickly, and sighed at another interruption at the door, rising to go answer it, seeing Kiddo standing there. She gave him a smile, and looked back at Lorenzo and Ren, "We should have thought to invite Kiddo to join, then we'd all be here"

She looked back to Kiddo, "We're just doing the homework, if you want to join. Or have you already done it? Did you need anything?" She asked, now feeling as if she just assumed he wanted to join them. She swallowed, smiled nervously.

"I just started but realized I needed a pen. I can't believe I forgot one." Kiddo said with a smile and a small laugh. "Do you mind if I borrow one? Your room seems crowded as is, the rooms aren't very big. Luckily I got one all to my self." Kiddo didn't want to stay, Lorenzo already looked annoyed enough with Ren there in that tight enclosed space. Kiddo didn't want to be a burden and make it even more cramped.

"Come on Kiddo! Join in! It'll be like our own little party! Even though its just homework. Look, I know this guy smells, but don't let that stop you from joining in." Ren said as he put his arm around Lorenzo. Might as well start the team building now, no use to be shy. "Besides, these two stopped giving me answers, I need some fresh meat to pick up their slack." He smiled at the man under his right arm, then glanced at Cassandra in the doorway. He still looked hesitant. Come on, just give in already.I'm sick of being the third wheel, come on Kiddo. Save me from the awkwardness.

Cassandra moved back over to her desk, grabbing a pen, wondering if she was the only organised person in the class, to have paper, pens and generally stuff needed for school. Maybe it was a girl thing. She held the pen in herright hand, waiting to see if Kiddo would join them.

She looked over to Ren, and laughed, "You have to give some of the answers too, you know. How else are you meant to learn?" She said with amusement, feeling as if Ren was eagerly trying to get Kiddo to join, and she wondered if he thought there was something going on between her and Lorenzo, and that was just such a disturbing thought, that Cassandra grimaced, sitting down on her bed, with her note book, "There, plenty of room now" She said, waving a hand to her vacated chair.

"Come on" She said, "We're meant to be friends, right? We're meant to become exorcists together, so we may as well be study buddies, all of us, right?" She said softly, looking over them all.

lorenzo looked slightly annoyed as ren referred to Lorenzo as smelly and he bonked ren on the head "despite my over confident friend here is okay to join us although don't let his stupidity annoy you to much" Lorenzo have a growl but a small smirk showing he was annoyed by his comment but it wasn't like he didn't act friendly to his response. He looked to Cassandra as he got his pencil and put the finishing touches on his homework now just watching everyone with intrigue wondering if this was what it was like to have friends

"No, It's fine. I want to work alone, I like peace and quite. That's why night time is my favorite time of the day. So, could you just and hand me a pen or something." Kiddo said with an embarrassed smile and a small laugh. The truth was he did love the night time but he doesn't like working alone. He just didn't want to be in the room with Ren. Something about him made Kiddo slightly pissed off every time Ren said something. And, Kiddo wanted to sleep as soon as he was done with the work. Kiddo was tired after his first day, it was eventful and different then what he was use to, so it was going to take some time to adjust. And, Kiddo thought the best way to do that was to get plenty of rest.

"I'll study with you guy soon though, you're right we should all be friends because we are becoming exorcists together. Sorry that I'm not feeling it tonight, I'm tired too." Kiddo said smiling slightly.

Cassandra sighed, and rose, handing Kiddo a pen. She knew he was lying, but at the very least, she could not pressure him to join them. It was clear to her that he had a problem or something with being here, she just didn't know what. "alright then" She said, "but if you have a problem, you can also come and ask for help" She gave him a smile, before returning to her bed.

She settled back, notebook in hand, resting it on a knee as she crossed her legs, leaning back against the wall. She pushed her sword to one end of the bed, and dropped her pack to the ground. She finished off the last few sentences before closing her notebook, and stretching.

Well I guess not then. Coulda been fun. He watched Kiddo turn away and walk out of the room. "Well looks like its back to the three amigos!" He replied enthusiastically or at least with all the enthusiasm he could muster. The truth is he felt terrible. Tired, sore, and mentally drained from the boring paperwork in front of him. Books were never Ren's thing. He much rather preferred hands-on training, and he was sure the others could tell. "SOOO... team bonding? Yeah, team bonding. If you didn't know I'm Ren Fukui." He stood up and took a bow before the both of them, then looked up and smiled. "I learned how to shoot from my old man, he's pretty nuts with a gun, and I plan to be the same. If there's anything else you need to know, you can either ask me, or you can ditch your boyfriend here and accompany me out sometime." Ren said jokingly while turning to Cassandra. He lived for light hearted humor. He couldn't stand being serious all the time.

"If I need help I will definitely come to you guys. Thanks Cassandra, I'll give it back tomorrow." Kiddo left the room and went back to his room. He sighed when he entered knowing they probably knew something was up. Even though he sat down at his very large desk that occupied the space where a second bed should be. Kiddo opened the draw that held some extra paper he had. Laying on top of the papers was his shiny red pen. "Really?" Kiddo said to himself while laughing. He picked up the pen and sat in at the edge of his desk. He started his homework and didn't end for about an hour.

After finishing he decided to take Cassandra's pen back to her. Kiddo first went to the vending machine down the hall a little ways and bought a soda and some chips, he was starving. When arriving at the door he lightly knocked hoping he wasn't waking anybody up. Kiddo waited for a response.

Lorenzo looked a little annoyed with his smirk still as he heard ren refer to him as Cassandra boyfriend and their was no way in hell he was used to being her sister yet "nice try hot shot, why don't you make another bullet mural with a I love Cassandra on it?" Lorenzo told him knowing how badly it backfired on him with miss Olivia and if nothing else he would get his point across about being flirtatious to women. Lorenzo then heard a knock on the door and said "come in" he said to whoever knocked as Lorenzo put his homework away wondering how long ren can make a fool of himself before actually getting to work "im Lorenzo im a knight and im going to be a dragoon. you know what you saw about my abilities with a sword" Lorenzo said softly trying not to bring up to much about his training with swords or rather his speed berserker mode with his sword from earlier

Cassandra burst out laughing, shaking her head, "I'd suggest you should look at the photo on the desk, or take a closer look at the both of us. I'm not into the whole incest thing" She said with weary amusement. She ran a hand through her hair, still chuckling to herself.

Ren was good for a laugh, even if they were meant to be looking at the homework. It had been a long time since Cassandra had laughed, and today had been good for that. She chucked her note book on the desk, and tucked her pen behind her ear as she rose to answer the knock on the door again, brushing passed Ren, and smiled. She grinned at Lorenzo when he said about a bullet morual, and hestiated to answer the door when he said come in, but still answered it.

She opened the door, and smiled, "Hi again" She said, seeing that he had some food, she realised she hadn't eaten since morning, and wondered if this place had a cafeteria or anywhere they could get food

"Hey, I found my pen as soon as I went back into my room. I opened the my desk drawer to get some paper and there it was. Sorry I didn't bring your's back sooner Cassandra. Here you go." Kiddo said holding out the pen he had borrowed earlier. Kiddo took a drink of his soda and asked if he could come in despite the fact Ren was still there. Cassandra moved and Kiddo made his way to the chair in the room. He sat down and opened his chips eating them quickly because of how hungry he was, he hadn't eaten in a while. He noticed Cassandra looking at the chips he had in his hands while he ate them, "I can buy you some if you want. You look a little hungry, What do you say?" He asked pulling out some money.

Oh we have a smart ass on our hands? I'll get him back for that. Ren thought after hearing Lorenzo's comment about the mural. At least Cassandra laughed. Laughter was his personal favorite thing to be the cause of. So, that instantly set him in a good mood. What set him in a better mood was the picture on the counter. It looked like a younger Cassandra, and a woman with strikingly similar facial features to her which must be her mother, and a man which had to be her father. He glanced back to Cassandra, then back to the picture, then finally to Lorenzo. So they're family huh? The living arrangements make sense now I guess.

Another knock? Cassandra opened the door and the man standing there was none other than Kiddo. So, the prodigal son returned, knew he couldn't resist. I am, after all, the life of the party. He thought smirking to himself. "Yo Kiddo, nice of you to join!"

Lorenzo grinned as he lay on his bed relaxing glad he got ren back for the suggestion that me and Cassandra were dating but he was a little curious as to why he didn't make a bigger deal about it considering neither of ever said anything about it but then anything they only knew eachother the one day so maybe he didn't care at the moment. Lorenzo smiled seeing kiddo come in to join them. Lorenzo was already feeling different from his normal self not feeling alone or like an outcast like everywhere else. guess it takes meeting his sister and an incredibly annoying dragoon in training for him to start smiling. Lorenzo could only imagine what kiddo and ren would think if they knew the truth about him and Cassandra being the spawn of a demon king. Lorenzo could only hope they would establish a good friendship before it becomes revealed to everyone what they really were as Lorenzo had to struggle to keep his tail hidden in pants when he hasn't taken a shower yet
