That's great! Can you enlighten me about how the upgrading will work? You just like, choose which module do you want to add (replace the older one, that is) or is it more complicated?

Well, there will be new systems as well, but I meant a new 'tier' of aircraft will also be unlocked for you to choose or upgrade, if you so wish.
I'm not going to use a money system, as that's far more book-keeping than I can be bothered to keep track of, and I don't want to have to assign 'values' to aircraft or to peoples' achievements and give you banana money based on them. So yeah, it'll pretty much be a case of just swapping things out. I'll have a think about it, and maybe I'll introduce some form of 'slots' system for upgrades, representing the systems you're able to upgrade, and then introduce systems you can swap in and out that take up different numbers of slots, and aircraft having certain numbers of slots, and based on a tiered 'tech level' for various aircraft and their variants, so only some planes can take some systems, etc.
I could do the same for weapons as well, meaning to get the really good stuff upgrades will be needed, but not essential, allowing you to keep your existing planes if you want.

I'm just spitballing at the moment, but that seems like a good idea to me at the moment, considering we aren't using any kind of stats right now.

So here I was, on Facebook, early yesterday morning (read; noon) and I saw a post on the Ace Combat Official Fan Page, or whatever it's called. Of course, the first thing I did after reading the post was to look at the typical butthurt in the comments because of the Sortie Fuel system in ACI and as I was reading through the comments, I saw something that made me pause.

"Wait. S*****n D***e? Isn't that Silver?"

Sure enough, I looked at the profile and based on the photos that were shown publicly, it definitely was Silver. Suddenly, I realized that I've been needing to post for at least a month, so I stopped sitting on my butt and got writing!

I don't think that any amount of apologies and promises to write more could redeem myself for being so late, but sorry, nonetheless.

One thing. Matt shook Natan's hands, which wouldn't normally be a problem, but I've just read that the Islam doesn't allow handshakes with non-Islamics, or something like that. Wondering if it's still fine to have the action in the post.
