And I think she's okay. Accepted, unless Rin catches something when she reads through it. ^^;

Edit: Wait, um, re-reading it... While I will outright say that most gods exist in this setting, they're not all part of a pantheon. Some of them are(Reon and Mayon are both basically the same religion and stuff, for one thing), but not all of them.

If it's for the people who do wrong in general(as in, not just believing in a different deity or something, but what would be seen as evil and all) and for those who... Hmm... I suppose believe in her but do wrong in terms of that religion, it works out.

Basically, the deities do all have different rules and how they handle things and afterlives and all.

When I eventually get to updating Reon and Mayon, believers who do good get to go to a Sun Palace for Reon and a Lunar Palace for Mayon, from which they can visit one another whenever they like, for example.

Well my idea behind the cauldron would be with the mindset that the gods will not let just anyone into their little paradises simly because they claim to be devout. If they had not lived their lives to the standards of their gods then maybe they made an agreement with Beltine who takes on these unwanted souls. And should they serve their penance they may request Beltine scoop them out of the Cauldron and give them a second chance.

Each god will still have power over their little domain, Beltine included. But she needs test subjects and the other gods may not be willing to take those into their palaces who they believe are unworthy. So they need to go somewhere.

And I figure an existence with a Some definate suffering but a high chance of repemption is far less grim-dark than a kind of "hell"

It's not the darkness, it's how it fits into the setting and how deities work in it. The gods have all different standards and many probably have both good and bad afterlives.

I'm trying to arrange this for maximum flexibility when people do make a god o they can create their own afterlives both good and bad for a given religion if they so choose.

Alrighty then, here we go! If no one else does it by tomorrow, I will have a Guild Sheet for the Warriors Guild at that time, but right now it's getting a little late here. Oh, this also might be a good time to mention my schedule. I'm a soldier currently in AIT training, so basically, I'll only be able to get on week nights and weekends, cause of classes. So, yeah. Anyway, thanks for checking my sheet out! If there are any problems, let me know, and I will get them squared away.

@Grim: Your bio looks fine, though it's a bit late so I might have missed something and for that reason won't be giving an acceptance until I've slept. ^^; However, if you're going to introduce a new guild you need to do a write-up for them.

@PrimezTime: Fairly soon, though I'm not sure of exactly when, and the IC won't be coming until we have more characters.

Well here is another one for you.

Name: Erenat Faire
Age: 347 Years of Age
Gender: Female
Race: Snow Elf
Profession: Lesser Concordat

Appearance: Erenat
---Erenat stands at around 6'4'', a rather average height for a Snow Elf. She carries the recessive trait of glowing blue eyes but other than that she appears just like any other Snow Elf (pale skin, white hair, etc.) Wears something much likes this on any day-to-day: Day-to-Day. Also has a set of standard armor as well: Armor

Personality: The best way to describe a Snow Elf's personality is to consider them cold and distant. However Erenat is just a bit warmer and closer to strangers than the rest of her kin. A surprisingly warm smile usually adorns her face as she greets people, even strangers. Those that know her would likely blame that on her love of adventure and things that are new. All those types of races and people attract her to the stories and experiences. It is her way of seeing the world, which she wants to do dearly but can't. But that's just it, in the end she was raised in a community of seclusion and supremacy. Her attention and affection really only go so far as a scientist studying a foreign creature, in most cases.

Equipment/Weapons:
--Runed Alkali Sword, it has a bluish tint, an ornate guard, handle, and pommel, and runes inscribed into the side of the blade.
--Khalisum Crystal: This small crystal appears to have been pulled off a glacial but when enchanted by magic, this crystal can constantly emit a cold aura in a small vicinity. These crystals help keep Snow Elves cool in heated environments.
--Knullsite Guardian (Guardian): At their essence, these walking suits of armor help protect the Snow Elves from harm. Using a long, expansive (and now outlawed practiced*), these sets of armor are specially constructed to house a soul trapped creature who then powers and moves it. This is the height of Snow Elven innovation and have proven to be much more capable in combat. They primarily serve as defenders for important people.

Abilities: Erenat was originally an Excavator for expeditions into the cold wilderness and various underground dwellings. An Excavator's duty was to explore the unexplored and collect anything and everything that was considered useful. They were trained to handle themselves in combat and taught how to survive in most regional areas. This also provided an eye for detail. After a rather significant discovery, Erenat was reassigned to a greater position that headed an enchantment team. She worked and learned how to enchant items and due to the magnitude of her team's project, she became rather skilled at magical enchantment.

Brief Backstory: Erenat had been through a lot in her long life. The life of an Excavator certainly is as she explored the scarcely populated forests, tundras, and caves that dotted the northern landscape. Years of exploring and discovery that would tell the grandest of stories but there is probably not a book large enough to contain it all, but nothing compares to the discovery of the Tal'Cree**, or Mind Readers in the common tongue. More importantly, however, it gave rise to the great Guardians of the Khal'Narri and for that, Erenat earned graces and praise that only few Snow Elves receive. But at what cost? The Tal'Cree were being harvested in great number and were being brought to extinction all because Erenat sold them out.

The guilt weighed on her and eventually she gave in. She quit her position, leading the utilization of the Tal'Cree and spoke out publicly about how just wrong it was. There was an outcry by the general populace and only few supported her opinion. There were even talks of banishing Erenat for such talk. Thankfully it never came to that and after years of campaigning against it, Erenat had finally reached the Great Circle (The Snow Elven High Council) and they outlawed the practice with a 6-5 vote. They even promoted her to the position of Lesser Concordat, but this might have also been to send her away, less the disgruntled make an attempt on her life. After all, she was revered as a Great Mind of the Khal'Narri and the murder of one who receives such a mark is considered horribly sacrilegious.

So now Erenat lives out her days in Karstberg. Socializing with politicians and various peoples and races that most Snow Elves never even see in their lifetimes.

*Will be expanded upon after the introduction of Enchantment Engineering Magic
**Will be expanded upon after the introduction to the Tal'Cree creature

Guild Name: Gladiator and Charioteer's Guild

Guild Head: Sascha the Elvenblood, undefeated gladiator.

Guild Description: The last remnant of blood sports to hang around until this civilised day and age, its methods have moved with the times and recruitment is no longer 'train slaves to fight, try and keep them alive as long as possible to earn the money back'. Instead, it is the single largest provider of non-religious orphanages and education in all of Karstberg, with recruits being those who show skill and are willing to be trained.

Whilst its two main activities have dropped in power, the guild itself wields considerable economic power through property holdings gained in former days of prosperity, and donations from its more successful students and orphans. Thus, it is in no danger of disappearing without being completely criminalised--and it has the ability to buy both healing and extremely potent, but short lived, defensive charms in large quantities. Thus, whilst their battles (and races) end in 'death' even more than in times gone by, gladiator turnover is actually surprisingly low.

Many gladiators, not finding great success or tiring of the constant 'death' due to superior foes, instead re-purpose their talents--magic users go for scholastic studies, whilst the more martially inclined tend to become watchmen or military. Even those who drop out are still highly trained fighters.

Tradition still reigns in the arena itself: 'life' or 'death' is determined by crowd opinion, and gladiators are often described and matched up by their weapons. Indeed, it's still the tendency to deliberately underarm one side, or give them non-standard abilities. In recent times, this has expanded to include magic as an armament selection--though even then the gladiator is expected to stick to a few specialities and not use all their potential knowledge, for the sake of fair play.

Despite substantial pressure to move out of its original holdings in the Dream District, the gladiators have refused to bow to either the pressure to relocate to the 'guild' district, or to conduct their trade outside of city walls entirely. They have, however, moved all training and administrative facilities out to more up-to-date guild areas, whilst the main race course is still the streets of the city--making race days those times when everyone tries to stay out of the way.
Race Name: Elves (Dark)

Race Description: Named for the colour of their skin as well as their preference for living underground, dark elves are a rather strange offshoot of elven-kind in general. Historically, elven sources show that a small group of elves took to worshipping one of the various 'darkness'-affiliated deities, moving away from the surface eventually and finding themselves in regular conflict with dwarves, though they moved deeper still.

A race heavily reliant on their goddess' blessings, over time they were noted to become less and less like their surface kin--plants and the open sky unnerve rather than reassure, and their vision in the dark is far superior to their near-blindness in sunlight. They are also, to the last, female: a combination of a matriarchal society, and requiring divine support to not die out entirely, quickly lead to a distinct shortage of males.

It is quite likely that, if they hadn't had to rely on relationships with their male surface kin, they would gradually have become quite... nasty, but as it is they were one of the more tolerant--if more secretive--races. As a whole, they tend to rely heavily on smuggling and the like, but cultivation of mushrooms is a particular speciality of theirs, as is taming normally-hostile wildlife, since most of their homes' natural residents would normally eat a person as soon as look at them. The high-fat diet that they thus subsist on, heavy in meat and dairy, means that dark elves are additionally known for being curvier than your average elf, though this is a cultural product as opposed to a genetic one.

In built up cities, they focus on night time jobs--which has, oddly enough, given them total control of Karstberg's red light district over the previous hundred years, due to a combination of long-term planning and their nocturnal preferences.

When it comes to children, a dark elf and a non-dark elf will produce another dark elf if the child is female or the father's race otherwise, whilst other hybrids work fairly normally. This is a rare occurrence, however, as dark elven culture tends not to place much emphasis on men to any degree, and they don't have a very strong drive to reproduce, lower even than the elven norm.

Dark Elf Religion: Surprisingly, the goddess the Dark Elves follow predominantly is worshipped commonly on the surface: Mayon. Though some follow Reon, the lunar goddess is of much greater importance to them, with Reon considered a secondary figure who provides the heat that they rely on to see instead, but not getting quite the same focus because she also governs the light they cannot stand.

@PrimezTime: Alright, um... we have to take issue with the mention of the Guardians being so much more powerful then any possible summon. Summons range in power massively. Some are just animals from the Summon Realm, others are... far, far nastier. As for the rest of your bio, I'll wait until you have some of the things you mentioned written up.

@Grim327: I like the idea, accepted.

@Raineh Daze: I also like these ideas, both accepted.
