Hey all. So here's the deal, I want to bring back some RPs that I was in a long time ago. So I'ma list them here and everyone let me know the one your the most interested in. The first one with a good amount of interests I'll make an OCC and get that ball rolling. Before you post I ask that you read all of them and agree to follow the generic guidelines.
Be a good person. (Don't control other PCs, keep language civil, keep it PG-13 at most, don't be a jerk)Be interested and active. (Try to post at most once a day at least every three days. Its not fair to the others if you can't be active.)Don't just play, tell a story. (While I would be the "GM," all players have creative input. If your character wants to screw off and play poker for the scene, go for it. Just refer to #1.)This is a Casual Roleplay. (Please know what this means. I don't expect Shakespeare, not in the least. But the more you write the more others can respond.)Have fun. (Try and be social out of the game as well. I love players who can shoot the breeze OCC.)The Family: Flesh and Ichor
Woden is a town that is considered by many to be the gem of the north east. A thriving artistic community, ground breaking science research facility, and home of one of the most prestigious law university in the world. It is here that the McDermott family made their way into history books, converting a dying mining town to a glorious metropolis. You are part of that legacy, a descendant of the McDermotts, a close nit family that still holds much stock in the future of Woden.
As a member of one of its families, you know the key to their and your success in virtually every regard. Each child born into the family undergoes a ritual at the age of seven, reenforcing everything it means to be human. Intelligence, endurance, strength, wits, it is this ritual that has kept members of the family one step ahead of their would be competitors. But it comes with a price. A voice is born inside of you, a voice that is more real then the once blood now more running through your veins.
This voice in your head tells you to let go, give in to your deepest desires, take what you want and damned be the rest. It is unwise to follow the advice of this voice that only you can hear. You call this your Demon, a second persona that is the source of the Ichor in your veins, while you control your flesh. For the remainder of your life you are at war with your Demon, bargaining with it for more Ichor to feed your lust for power and dominance. Meanwhile the Demon plots and plans, for the more Ichor that flows through you, the closer it is to controlling your flesh, and once that happens, there is no going back.
You must be on guard, you must be vigilant, but above all you must be loyal, because for the McDermotts family comes before all else. Family is always first.
Blue is the Color of the Soul
A thousand years ago a world not unlike earth has undergone a cataclysmic destruction. A meteor that collided with the planet. Much of humanity was lost, but through foresight, a few were fortified against the coming disaster, and a few were left to rebuild in a world nothing like what they knew. For where there was once land, there was only water.
Humanity rebuilt on the only piece of land they could find, an mountain peak no larger then a hundred square miles. They called this Eria, after the very project that saved them. It was here that they rebuild, bringing what they could scavenge from the watery depths to both shelter and feed them. There was however, something else they bring back from the depths, fragments of the very meteor that destroyed the world they once knew. It was in these fragments that they found the brightest beacon of hope.
They call it Solamite, and quickly discovered that it was unlike anything they had ever thought impossible. Its nature was unknown, but it was a inexhaustible power source with foreign properties. With this new material they built a new way of living, a society based on trade, science, and strength.
Deep in the Green Sea lies the floating town of Anchor, a scavenger outpost that makes its living bringing up useful materials of all kinds used for either trade or repairs. Its population is only around four hundred, but it is all you have ever known with Eria being a distant dream. Your simple life changed when Issac Vignaux, an odd man by anyone's standards sailed up and started recruiting people to join his crew, or rather to simply build a crew. Although your job does pay good Shells, no job pays better then mercenary or escort, so for one reason or another, you signed up as a new member of the Emerald Pirates.
Kingdom Hearts: When Darkness Woke
The description for this one is going to be a little different because it is a pre-existing universe. This story would start a hundred-semi years after Xehanort's defeat at the hands of the the seven Keyblade Wielders of Light. All has been good in the universe and people with the gift have been being trained as Keyblade Masters to keep the hearts of others and the light safe from the grasp of darkness. But what story is good without conflict and needless to say, unbeknownst to the PCs, some big stuff is going to go down.
You would be playing either students of the Keyblade Masters or relatively young Nobodies. Having said that, you are extremely underpowered. To put it mildly, Sora was a fluke, Nobodies don't work like that, you are a real student, no where near where Sora started. For perspective, five Shadows would be hard for you to take on by yourself. But over the course of play, you can be just as good as Sora or Xemnas was.
Also, aside from making a character you will be making the world he/she is from, and that will be a world we will visit at some time. Last time I ran this we only got to one player created world, but needless to say, it was cool.
A quick FAQ.

Feel free to ask any questions. All of these have a lot of materials behind them I assure you, but I am always looking for ways to expand them.
