He could feel the energy gathering around the other man, then feel it darting toward his own body and beginning to coalesce into something much more sinister than armor. It surrounded him entirely, giving Arty no way out, even had he wanted to disengage his target. That was the first mistake. Never remove all hope. Always leave a way out, even if that way is too small to actually be exploited. When you didn't, your opponent had nothing left to lose and there was no longer any reason to hold back, which meant that Adrian was in for a hell of a lot of hurt. As fast as he could think to form the spikes, Arty thought faster. Before they had even begun to visibly coalesce, a second burst of energy was sent into Adrian's body, this one potent enough that his grounded status would be irrelevant. The energy simply wouldn't be able to get out of his body fast enough, and this time Arty focused it, sending it straight to the other man's vital organs instead of rampaging aimlessly through his body. Not only would it stop his heart and seize his lungs, but his brain would be pumped full of so much electricity it would literally flash-boil itself from the sheer heat being generated. At least, that's what it would do unless he could muster some sort of nano-second defense to prevent it.

He wasn't finished though, and when he caught sight of the grenade rolling up to their right side, he pushed off the ground with his right foot and pulled Adrian onto his side from his previously face-down position, landing on top of the other man's left wing. Not only would this expose the nephilim's face and chest to the full force of the grenade's detonation, but it would also shield Arty himself from the explosion. With all his energy already focused behind him and on Arty, the other man had almost no chance of foiling both the electrical attack and the grenade's explosion.

If he did somehow manage to survive the next half second however, as well as retain the mental fortitude to continue his spike attack, Arty would feel a compression around his wrists, but little more than that. With all the energy coursing through his hands and into the other man at that moment, their durability would be far higher than any haphazard attempt at a counterattack would be able to overcome, though the spikes were another matter. If those managed to keep coming, they'd shred his jacket and the shirt beneath with ease, and continue on to puncture the skin and muscle beneath. Those that hit bone would be stopped dead, likely before they actually touched the bone itself, and even those that didn't wouldn't make it more than an inch into his flesh. Even so, it would no doubt hurt like hell if he had been capable of normal feeling, and even with his lack of sensitivity to pain, the discomfort alone would be immense.

As the voltage hit Adrian there was a sudden flash and and the pungent smell of sulfur filled the air. A man of great stature appeared above a little ways in front of the fighters holding the limp Adrian in one hand. The man was tall and dark haired resembling Adrian in many aspects but he was garbed in a white suit. the only distinguishing factor was the pair of black angel wings sprouting from his back. He threw the limp boy to the ground and then flames engulfed them as a dark voice could be heard "one day he will return........".When the flames dissipated neither Adrian nor the man were anywhere to be seen.

It seemed that his quake proved useless, not the first time that he had faced foes that were immune to its effects. At this point he wondered why he even used it, rarely did it ever have an effect, even when it should have. "I see." Withdrawing his blade from the ground in a wide swing, he turned his head to the side to look more closely at the pyromancer. An arrow struck the side of his helmet, penetrating it only slightly and poking him in he eye socket. "Goodness gracious. Am I being assailed on two sides?"

Knowing full well that he would be easily defeated, should he not pay attention to the archer, he lowered his blade to the side and wrapped the length of its edge in soul mass. With a quick swing to his right he threw the massive blast of soul mass from the edge of his blade towards the archer. A soul destroyer, hopefully the archer would believe this attack to be a simple spear. This blast of energy would explode just before striking him, and turn into a barrage of much smaller but deadly sharp fractals of soul mass. "I beg your pardon, but this might hurt, a lot."

While the armoured undead was distracted with the archer, Steve twirled his staff, concentrated and charged his flames. Barely charged, however, it'd only do enough damage to melt off some of his targets armour, not doing any serious damage.

No matter.

The pyromaniac Mage ran forth, keeping his staff in front of him and in five, short seconds, searing hot flames came out in a concentrated beam, aimed at the zombies body.

The skeleton like creature had just fired some sort of projectile from the end of its blade when Alemeiden got within striking distance with his cloaking still in effect. He couldn't be sure how to harm him, so Almeiden decided to go with a simplistic route.

Jumping into the air with calculated precision, He willed his armor to flash forge a blade made of a carbon nanotube alloy and it extended from his arm, heated to a white hot temperature by the energy released from the rushed creation process.

He reached the top of his calculated arc, and then bore down on the creature, with his blade seconds away from slicing into its neck.

Not able to do much to dodge in the air max draws his bow again and quickly fires an energy arrow, watching it almost hit the soul mass before it suddenly shattered into what seemed like hundreds of shards, all still coming for him. changing tactic he pulled his arms and legs in close and turned his whole body into a shadow till the shards had all passed through him without hitting. Landing with a quick roll he took aim again, drawing two arrows and firing them one after the other at the fire mage and the new fighter attacking the undead one he had already attacked, not liking when others interrupt his hunt just as much as he was hating the undead knight's stench.

In the middle of the battle,a winged silhouette flys down, and the wings vanish.

???:hope ya liked my surprise.

He then gets his goggles on,and two robots hold up a smash brothers style sign reading :"Teo:Blasts in!".

Teo then bangs his fists together and produces his wings once more, and rushes towards the fire Mage .

A lot of fighters from around the world where coming to this spot to kill each other and the man who would use his skin as a weapon was invited. These guys all had a measure of power that probably rivaled his own but in this battle for survival, he arrived to destroy everybody that got in his way and on his way he saw the forest. Where many of his opponents had been trying to abolish the next guy. He launched a dozen needles from his palms at the guy with an arrow and the guy that was rushing toward the mage.

Quite a lot was happening to The Overlord right about now, a few things that he was unaware of. Now, he was certain the pyromancer had neglected to notice something. Though he does not have eyes, he can still see. And never once did his line of sight break away from him, as he unleashed a surge of immolation against him. The blade in his hand halted in its previous swing and he flipped it with his thumb to give it a better position for a back swing.

Grey Nasty gave to long lunging steps forwards, much to his fortune as the invisible being behind him had been aiming to incapacitate him with a single stab. These two steps put him just outside of the reach of his blade. Now, why was he moving forward? It's easier to swing a colossally heavy blade when you're moving with it. Overlord's blade was swung forward with every single pound of its weight throwing itself around. This was not intended to slash at his flame spewing foe, no. At the beginning of his swing he ignited the tip of his sword with a bright flame.

When his blade pointed almost directly forward he twisted his wrist to flatten the blade against the wind. This sent a massive wall of flame surging towards the pyromancer, a firewall of sorts. This was his primary defense against his greatest weakness, his own weakness. Overlord is a smart man, and he knows of the saying: "Fight Fire with Fire."

Now, onto the target that he had previously fired at.

The circumstance of his soul destroyer being knocked away by a single arrow is outlandish at best. As one: It is 12 feet long. And two: It shatters before anything makes contact with it. Now, what really happened to the blast of soul mass that he had fired at his foe? Before his arrow struck Grey Nasty's soul destroyer, the 12 foot long spear of soul mass erupted into three dozen fractal shards that shotgunned outwards. Flying in the same general direction as his innitial assault.

Electricity coursed through the winged creature, the grenade went off, and then the nephilim vanished, as if he had never been there. For a moment, Arty thought he saw a second winged creature hovering in the air and holding the limp form of the first in his hand, then they both were gone and the battle around him once again resolved itself in his vision. Odd thing that. He'd have to find and kill the second winged creature later. Loose ends were bad for business. Right now though, he had half a dozen other goons to dispose of, most of whom seemed to be focused on the guy with the staff that was shooting fire. All the better for him, he supposed. He should probably capitalize on their distraction to initiate a devastating attack of his own... but then where's the fun in that?

Instead, he raised a hand and fired off a bolt of electricity at the dozen spikes being launched at another pair of fighters. When it got close, it split itself into a dozen branching arcs that each struck one of the needle-like spikes, burning them to cinders and rendering them inert and harmless. A cheeky grin split his lips then, directed at the source of the needle-spikes. A newcomer to the battle. "You gonna stand there and gawk or step up to the plate?" As he spoke, the air around Arty began to tingle with a static charge that grew stronger with each word, leaving little doubt as to the source of his abilities (as if the lightning bolt hadn't given that away).

The pyro Mage saw three things, all not good for his survival. The undead man had deflected the flames, effectively fighting fire with fire. A man was charging at him and an arrow was fired his way. But he had been in this scenario before against a certain Mage that he wouldn't name. Though, it involved a lot more gelatine. And water. He decided to stop thinking about this as he came up with a plan.
The plan? His favourite plan. Improvise.

Whistling, Steve summoned a purple field, moving his hand up in the direction of his redirected flames. The purple field, a magical shield, absorbed the magical fire and dispelled it, sparks of fire raising into the air and bursting like miniature fireworks.

Then, the arrow. Time seemed to move in slow motion as he telekinetically stopped the arrow of energy, saving it for his own use. Next, the charging man. Raising the energy arrow into the air telekinetically, he set fire to it, willing it to be thrown at the person running to him.

"Well, if this were a story, you all would call this move 'bull excrement.'"

Rauchnaut approach the battlefield with a rather cold and arrogant demanor: sword sheathed, arms crossed on his chest and head rasied high, not even looking at the combatants. Though, truth be said, the last part weren't quite true - the demon's vision had no relation whatsoever to his hollow and lifeless eye sockets, all attention directed exactly towards the fighting men. Stopping at a slight distance, he began to asses the gathered information, seeking to pick the best available target.

Unfortunately, all of them - but the seemingly invisible one, which Rauchnaut had registered by picking up the soft thud of his landing - had ranged attacks at their disposal, and paired with the open battleground, this would make it hard for him to tussle. Turning his snout towards the ground in dissapointment, he brainstormed the possible routes of advancment, most of which involved pure speed and use of cover - his behemoth body were damn impossible to hide, and deception best worked tet-a-tet, one having no guarantee all enemies would fall for the trick. Honestly, he hoped that somebody would pick him first and free him of the trouble. Really - the only good idea he had come up with was to join everybody in bullying the poor red-robed mage. Yes, he'd probably try that out unless somebody else would issue him a challenge.

A zealous boy eager for a "small" quarrel strutted towards the sector of the luscious forest where all the racket was being emitted from. When reaching the makeshift threshold of grotesque trees winding into a gate esque structure. He would prep himself with a hefty swig of Redbull.

The man to whom Arty had been speaking suddenly disappeared in a puff of space-time, and his eyebrows rose in surprise. That was the second fellow in less than five minutes who preferred to flee than face him as a true adversary. He glanced around at the others to see if they'd noticed, and his eye caught sight of a small lobbed projectile heading his way. Looks like someone else was finally taking an interest.

Arty's left hand shot up and snatched the grenade out of the air, instantly permeating it with a small cohesion field that locked every piece of it together, preventing the device from detonating. "Tsk, tsk, my friend. You should at least introduce yourself before giving a guy a present. Especially one as lovely as this." He held the grenade up to inspect it, but only for appearances sake. He kept his attention on the battlefield around him, and most notably on the newest arrivals. He had at least and idea of what the others could do, but these new guys were wild cards. And for some reason, he couldn't sense the kid's electrical aura. Actually, now that he thought about it, he couldn't sense the skeleton's either. Huh. Must have something to do with being undead. As he stood and observed, his attention seemingly focused on the grenade he held, small sparks began to arc between the fingers of his otherwise unoccupied right hand as the energy he was focusing there continued to build.

Aureo watched as the electric man caught the bomb and the red magician was bombarded with attacks and thought to himself this is a good time to do a little research. He used his vision modes to locate vital organs on each combatant including the one who thought he was unable to be seen. He then took cover behind a boulder unholstering his revolver and beginning to charge energy in his left hand.He watched them through the boulder with his x-ray and waited for his chance to strike.

You see, this happens to be the forte of the one known as the Nameless Undead Overlord. When in a blind mad melee, the Overlord's reliance on his hefty armor is not such a burden. No foe is going to sit down long enough to concoct a method of penetrating it while they are worried about other opponents. And it seemed most certain that the pyromancer who had never once actually said his name had forgotten all about him. A mistake he would not live long enough to regret.

The Overlord took about five leaping steps towards him, thrusting his blade backwards to build up momentum at its greatest full swing. As he closed the gap between him and his mystic foe, he enveloped his blade once more in a thick swathe of flame. Usually, this coating of flame would be expelled to fire off a spell. However, Overlord was charging up a new and significantly more powerful spell. Though, since he is in motion and he is about to strike at someone, this spell is going to take quite some time to charge. Likely within the range of 30-40 seconds.

As he closed the gap, he lunged forward and hefted his weight to the left. Swinging his colossal blade towards the midsection of the pyromancer. A side effect of charging his spell would be an enhanced strike upon his foe. With flames engulfing his blade, it would deal a significant deal more damage than it would with just the blade. Now, this blade is massively heavy. And nigh-indestructable. Should this weapon's swing remain uninterrupted, it will cleave his infernal foe in twain.

Steve sensed something in the air. Namely, the overlord. With a sword. Swinging it in midair. Needless to say, this was bad. He picked up his staff, twirled it in the air and, after backing up for a few mili-seconds then attempted a block with his nigh indestructible fire staff This would either work or fail miserably. If it failed, he'd be cut in half. If he succeeded, he could get the opportunity to jump back.

Max looked around, letting his bow fade out of existence he decided to let the group all wipe each other out. Picking another target he looked around for someone who was further away from the mage who was getting swarmed, finding what he was after in a strange man hiding behind a rock. Slowly sinking into the shadows around him, his teeth flashing in a grin just before he vanished.

Silently he formed out of the mans shadow, standing behind him and silently drawing Digan from his bag, intending to either kill or imprison the armoured being before it became a threat.
