Warp Space
The Gods laughed as the conflict began. The battle sent psychic ripples throughout the warp making all warp creature stronger but especially those who follow Khorne the blood god.
Real Space: Azwraith
Warmaster Finch chuckled from at the distant concussions. His ship had arrived only moments ago slipping silently out of the warp. Oh what a wondrous sight this conflict. And when the fighting was over they would swop in like Vultures to collect what prizes they sought.

Rigel Station

Three assault fleets had gathered at the point while the Delphan vessel maneuvered around. E-Class Shield ships removed their cloaks from both groups and they moved towards the Sylve outpost.

The defensive cannons lit up brilliantly, sending beams of energized particles and magnetic slugs in every which direction. A line of Trikolo-Class destroyers yawed on their port sides, each one brandishing forty magnetic accelerator cannons. After a short charge cycle they fired in groups of three, creating a wall of nearly three hundred slugs. The first few bounced harmlessly off of reflector shields, but more and more bombarded the station and wore the fields thin. Eventually, they broke through; first bruising the hull and then piercing the walls in certain areas, ejecting chlorinous atmosphere and Sylve personnel.

Hangars began deploying a variety of stolen spaceships which moved in formations and fired missiles, torpedoes and lasers. Explosions and energy rippled across the shield layers of the destroyers but it was all dispersed. They continued firing while a stealth corvette deployed a group of Deep Space Insertion Commandos, who jettisoned from the pod and dodged into various hull breaches on the station.

The acting Fleetmaster of the combined assault group, Fleetmaster Araldi'mum of the Marku-Class PNS Savant of the Gods, sent a message to the Delphans:

Get your marines onto that station and work with the DSpIC's, they know who we're looking for. If you can, capture, but do not kill, any higher-ranking personnel--they could prove useful to us. If you can, use a sneakier approach. Our destroyers will continue to fire to distract them but they could be maintaining a perimeter defense.

Operation: Seraph

"Units, the objective is complex: Board and seize control of the Imperial Flagship, before turning its guns on its own fleet. With some luck, the sudden chaos in their ranks should allow the Ceramus to push the Imperial forces away from their world" The Overseer stated, bluntly, as the forces under his command prepared their weaponry and equipment.
"Request information: Boarding tactic." One of the Synth Soldiers said, as he locked his Gauntlet into place
"Reports from the Watchers, although somewhat unreliable at this range, implies that the Imperial forces use quantity over quality, deploying en masse. Such action would require large hanger bays, and presumably large resource storage, on their larger ships, comparative to our own. We believe the Invictus class super carrier is our closest parralel to the Imperial Flagship. While it is inconceivable to jump large ships and possibly even an indespectus inside with any accuracy due to our lack of layout knowledge, Dropships, if fitted with the appropriate drives, might be able to make a comparatively safe jump inside. We daren't attempt a jump of more than three dropships until a proper layout is known, however."
"Rules of Engagement?"
"Sword. However, ensure the Imperial Flagship is kept in at least salvageable condition. The three fitted dropships await in the hanger. They are capable of jumps of just over 10,000 miles, so a ONUS civilian transport has been requisitioned for jump into the system. It has only a skeleton crew, it will attempt to leave the system as soon as you jump aboard the imperial ship. Reinforcements will be on standby provided a suitable location is uncovered. Move."

Operation Seraph Phase One

The Onus class transport dropped out in system and made a quick scan of the enemy flagship, while the fitted drop ships prepared their engines. This was the best shot they had.
"Surgery beginning in 3. 2. 1. Surgery commence" Overwatch announced, and the Onus turned to flee, moving away and preparing for a jump out system. Meanwhile, its Special Operations force begin their assault. Four phase tanks zipped through space, their phase generators active, heading into the enemy vessel, ordered to assault an enemy hanger to divert attention. Meanwhile the three dropships made their jump towards their target, as revealed by the quick scanning although not confirmed. Whatever the case, it was suspected to be a small cargo bay, presumably for carrying sustenance for the armed forces.

Objective manifest:

Infiltrate the Imperial Flagship: Underway
Cauterise ship personal via control of life support systems: To be completed
Take control of the Imperial Flagship: To be completed
Sterilise the Imperial Admiral (Live capture prefered, Amputation may be performed if required): To be completed

Avoid unnecessary damage to the flagship: Underway

Triarian War losses
1 Military World, dark energy reactors triggered, no significant technology left to recover.
1 Fleet plus a Dreadnought, dark energy reactors triggered, no significant technology left to recover.

Equiis, Canterlot
A small amount of people sat in the meeting hall in the Castle. They included the 3 Princesses, Duck de Steelhorn, and the Supreme Commander of all of Equestria's military, the Griffon Ironclaws. The rest of the High Council had not been called as they were still attending to the various sectors of the Empire they managed, but the 5 currently in the chamber were Equestria's war council.

"I advise we do not help with the Imperials, we lost a entire fleet and a Dreadnought, and while we have begun churning out replacements for both, if we assist we will be very weakened. The Triarians could use such a opportunity and finally finish us. If we avoid helping and only defend ourselves we can build up enough and the Triarians would not be able to strike us, as they be weakened by there war with the Imperials." spoke Ironclaw.

"But Lakfalle has been our friends for so long, it is likely they will call for our help." responded Twilight

"We realize this but we are in no position, Ironclaws is right, we need to prepare for further Triarian offensive" said Duck de Steelhorn

"Then are we all in favor of defending ourselves and not assisting with the Imperials?" spoke Luna.

They all agreed, leaving the chamber to attend to there various duties.

Azwraith (LCF)
"We can understand. However, we will not fire on your forces until this system no longer contains the invaders. It would do your people good to do the same. Good luck, may our battles together be productive."

Operation Seraph
The Imperial internal sensors picked up the boarding action, and multiple security teams were dispatched. However, they were equipped just like the cannon fodder infantry on the ground. It seemed as though it would be an easy victory for the Triarians, as only frail human conscripts had appeared. Then came members of a species that had once been feared in the Milky Way, a species that had almost conquered the galaxy. They were built strongly, with sharp claws and teeth, with light blue scales acting as a beacon of fear. Draconians.

But these were not normal Draconians, these were genetically modified to be as powerful as possible. Strangely, they had no cybernetics, thus being easily killed off by any synth. Apparently, however, the human officers had far too much faith in the Draconian's abilities.

"Surrender immediately!" Yelled a Boskop who had been taken along "You will become tools of the Empire either way, but in life you will be a worse tool. Rough around the edges, rebellious. You will do more good for your people in life than in death. Surrender!"

Sylve
A message was sent to the Sazkarjhit forces, as the Delphan ship launched boarding pods.

"You want them alive? Our specialty."

The boarding pods slammed into the enemy station, and Delphans clad in armored spacesuits thrusted out of them using RCS packs. They began to fire on the enemy troops using standard LCF assault rifles, trying to maintain their cover of inferiority. But the moment they got into the station, they began to use their psychic powers as their primary weapon. Enemy guards were slammed against walls, confused into firing on everyone in the room, knocked unconscious by a single touch, the Delphans even used their restricted powers to clear entire rooms of enemy troops at once. They continued to charge forwards, beginning to only knock the enemies unconscious so as to make sure they got as many prisoners as possible.

Equiis, Canterlot
Twilight was asleep in the bedroom, in a peaceful sleep. It was a good night, not too hot, not too cold, just the right temperature. The peace of the night could make someone forget the war, at least until morning. For in the morning, the reports came in, telling everyone who had died in the war. Nobody wanted to see it, but it had to come. However, this fleeting moment of peace for Twilight was about to be rudely interrupted by a being from another dimension.

One would expect Faust, what with Twilight being an Equestrian, but it wasn't her. It was someone else, a humanoid being. They glowed blue, and had the figure of a human woman. Through the glow, one could make out pale white skin, as if she had never seen the light of day. She was clothed in flowing black robes, with stars, galaxies, planets, and nebulae dotted all over them, Her hair went down to her waist, changing color from white to black as it went down. Despite the white of her hair, she appeared to still be young. Her left arm seemed metallic, as if it was an artificial limb. Then there was her face, the mouth was curved in a perpetual soft smile, and the eyes conveyed a sense of wonder at all round her.

The room was lit with her blue glow, and the being moved her hand in an upward motion, waking Twilight through magic.

"Hello, Child of Faust." She began "You do not know me, and I do not know you. I only know Faust, whom I have fought alongside. You are lucky to have such a dedicated Goddess. This is the first time I have revealed myself in the physical world, though I have manipulated a certain planet many times before. I tend to stick to the natives of that word with my actions and view, it is fun to discover. Those natives have given me many names over the years, I have picked one for direct interaction: Urania. I have come to give you a suggestion. If you do not wish to listen, that would be quite enjoyable for me, but I do not desire joy right now. I desire to give you this suggestion, will you hear me out?"

Undetermined Location, Sylve Assault

Switch viewed as the station was torn apart, with interior layers showing the Sazkarjhia space commandos and Delphan marines plowing their way through the station.

"They thought I was there? Hah! Fools!" he cackled.

"Sir, you need to keep in mind that we still had higher-ranking officers there. They could use them to get to you." One of his lieutenants standing next to him remarked.

"Bah! I have resilient men in place, and they'll die if they need to to preserve Sylve's integrity."

"A Sazkarjhit surgeon can do things that none of us would fathom possible, Captain."

Captain Switch's triumphant countenance and smile shifted into a frown. He faced the lieutenant. "Even if they find me, even if they do, they'll still have to pull the control of this sector from my cold, dead hands."

The officer retorted. "While I do believe you, sir, that does not mean we should underestimate them. Even if their pride keeps them from using more advanced extraterrestrial technology, that doesn't mean that their allies are the same way. Alongside this, their military has shaped up considerably. While not as effective in space, our base here on the surface of the planet would fall to a ground incursion like a worm would be devoured by a bird. My suggestion is that we establish in a populated area. If they cause many casualties it will be on them; it will cripple their support and damage morale."

"You make it sound like you want an invasion, Lieutenant."

"I was merely sugges-"

"If you want bloodthirsty warriors to hunt you down you can be my guest. Just don't use decent soldiers. I don't care if we're being hunted by the Sazkarjhit, or any other empire for that matter. We are not just a military force, we are a business, and dammit I will stop at nothing to keep this business alive."

"There is nothing discrete about this business, Captain. With determination alone you cannot withstand against an army so willing to fight and to use weapons of mass-destruction-"

"Their outdated fusion weapons can easily be countered. Even a slug fired from their allegedly unstoppable 'doomsday' Delta VIII can be stopped by a high-quality shield. But I suppose you have a point. If they arrive en masse, which they most likely would to eradicate us, it's very quite possible that they will bring more than enough firepower to bring us down. But I run this sector, so if they're going to take down Sylve they'll have to get through me first."

"Does your double know anything about our operations?"

"Not a clue, even if they got him to crack he'd provide no useful information. It won't take them long to find out, though."

"Let's just hope that they don't find out about here, sir."

"Heh...Agreed."

Operation Seraph

The ONUS jumped out of system, escaping from the combat.
Aboard the ship, the Phase Tanks in one of the hangers had, as expected, the least success of the forces. Using their weaponry to wreak havoc with enemy fighters, bombers, pilots and security details in the hanger, they eventually rephased and moved away from the hanger towards the other forces to back them up.

Hardlight flew across the room, before impacting the human conscript in the right arm. It tore off, flying across the room and sending blood pouring from the wound as he collapsed to the floor in pain. Another turned to fall back to better cover, only to receive a sudden and sharp pain in his back. He cried out as he was lifted into the air, a massive fist having punched through his stomach. The Synth Soldier spun, tossing the human into one of his allies, a sickening crunch resounding as their bones cracked and snapped under the sudden force. One, two, three: More blasts of hardlight and a stream of dark energy fired over, and another three conscripts fell dead.
"I'm getting out of here!" Another yelled, turning and sprinting away, but one of the Aru'Shumi Synths pounced him and tore out his throat with his razor sharp teeth.

In filed a new foe, Draconians, which took the team somewhat by surprise. They hadn't been expecting Draconians. One of the Officers eyes began to glow as he turned his attention to the Boskop... A sudden lance of energy shot out, and the Boskop flew backwards, smashing against the wall with a sickening crunch
The Draconians moved forwards, opening fire on the Spectre units. One of the Aru'Shumi was caught out in the open and took a hail of enemy gun fire, falling to the ground dead as his equipment exploded, leaving no trace. The Guardians turned their shields towards the Draconians, who advanced forwards... Only to be met by the explosion of an anti-personal grenade. Two were killed outright, but the rest continue their assault. One vaulted over a pile of crates and tried to claw one of the Saeva Simius, who responded by dodging backwards at a speed that his build belied was possible, before moving forwards and grabbing the Draconians arms. The two wrestled for the upper hand, both extremely strong and deadly, but the Saeva Simius slowly gained the upper hand. The draconian lunged his body forwards and attempted to bit the Synth Soldier... Who smashed his head against the Draconians, stunning him for a moment. The Synth soldier used this to pull his right arms free, and activated his Gauntlet, plunging the energy blade into the Draconians skull

More blasts of the deadly hardlight, punching holes in cover and walls, and being almost invariably deadly to any target it hit. The Officer darted forwards towards the Draconian, who laughed and charged the little creature, expecting an easy kill. He got a sudden shock when his head exploded into pain, and he fell to the floor clutching it. It felt like somebody was beating his head with a tree, and he didn't even hear the distinctive activation of the energy blade until it plunged into his neck. A final Draconian opened fire on the officer, who sudden moved backwards in a burst of seemingly impossible speed, avoiding the shots. The phase tanks came out of the wall behind him and unphased, and as he turned to face them he was hit directly by a warp cannon.

The Collective forces moved quickly forwards, attempting to push their way towards the bridge.

Ghost Program Facility, Equiis
The facility was like many of the other research facilities the Equestrians want to keep quite, deep underground and with information regarding it and whatever it was doing being on a need to know basis. The leader of the facility, since it involved Psionics and Genetics was Dr.Vahlen. The facility had been working on what was known as the Ghost Program, a program designed to work on developing ghosts units. Ghosts were supposed to be psionics that would be infiltration specialists, mainly gathering information, or weakening and taking out targets important to the enemy.

"How goes progress on the Ghost Program Vahlen?" asked a inquisitive Ironclaws, walking along the metal floors of the facility.

"The research and there equipment is fully ready. We already have a few people who volunteered for it in fact, and they shall be ready for deployment soon." responded Vahlen, who was walking alongside Ironclaws. "Here is the demonstration now...'

A ghost walked through the door, stepping into a chamber that Vahlen and Ironclaws were currently viewing. The Ghost had on pure white armor, however blue glowing stripes were around the armor, indicating that it enhanced the psionic ability of the user. The Ghost had what appeared to be a pair of goggles as well, strapped to his head but not covering his eyes, the lens were green. He also had a gas mask on, however it was the triangular grill style of gas masks rather then the ones most races used. A long rifle was attached to a battle saddle. The Ghost began moving forward, first taking out various targets that showed the power of the rifle, quickly and easy taking out of all types, and the ability of the goggles to allow for long-range firing easier. The Gask mask was also demonstrated though a quick chamber with non-harmful knockout gas. Further progression also showed the highly advanced stealth systems in the Ghost's arsenal, as well as there Psionic abilities. After the test concluded Ironclaws only told Vahlen that he wanted the ghosts ready before the end of the month, and she was to happy to oblige. She would need to gather more of the extremely rare materials of jorium and terrazine however, as they had been used along with the psionic gene mod to boost psionic abilities of the ghost to triarian levels.

The Equestrians' Equiis System
Energy levels in the outer reachs of the Equestrians' home system began fluctuating rapidly, rising higher and higher at random intervals, dipping up and down like someone had taken hold of the ADD ENERGY lever and began jamming it up and down like a little kid. After a minute, the source, the highest area of the flunctuation, rippled, and as the fabric of space and time, or maybe just space, wrinkled for a moment, 3 Supreme Frigate-Cruisers appeared, gliding gently towards Equiis.

The ships were smaller than the warships, and instead of the usual massive, utiliarian design of just a single body without any real 'limbs' or branches extending off, these were really a single, large tube bristling with communication arrays and point-defense, with two secondary tubes extended out to the right and left of the main ship body, with 5 wings connecting it to the ship. The rear-most wing was compromised mostly of engines, and smaller engines were equidistant around the outside edge of the front of the secondary tubes.

Three, short, stubby barrels extended out from each secondary tube, though the depth when looking straight down it suggests that most of it is hidden. The mass-drivers weren't supposed to be a clever weapon, but rather something much simpler. What can take a multi-lightyear-ranged shotgun blast of high-density spheres going at a fair percentage of lightspeed?

Other turrets dot the secondary and primary tubes, the smaller having a single barrel, the medium having two, and the larger having four. Each one were armed with miniature mass-drivers, capable of firing high-velocity high-density pellets at high rates of fire. One could easily see the part that makes it fly faster than any other ship in the galaxy: A spherical lump on the top-rear of the primary tube, glowing from between cracks in the protective plating, so bright that it's visible from some distance.

But because of the lack of armor, one could also see the tesla-coil-like shield generators, that flicker on at the last minute to block incoming fire. The ever-so-slight moment before a laser fires is the particles and energy from the laser reaching the point of impact, and then becoming a real laser, allowing shields to detect and block it.

However, they were there for war. After some time of them drifting towards Equiis at a speed that a carrier would find challenging to gain, they sent a message:
Greetings neighbors!
We're bored. Do something or make something exciting!
Kind regards, Shipmaster Kaegin

The voices pressed against reality, stretching the barrier between Real space and the Warp. "Lord IronClaw, why do you simply allow the Triarian threat to continue living. You must invade while they are distracted and drive the heathens from this existence. " Warp sensor alarms triggered and the voices faded.

SDF Research and Development Report

....................................
BEGIN REPORT
....................................
DR RINAI TALMIN'GUM, SR RESEARCHER, SAZKARJHIA DEFENSE FIRM AUTONOMOUS R&D LABORATORY
....................................
Work has begun on Operation WILDCARD to develop an autonomous hunter-killer machine. Below will be a list of specifications, but first the actual construct must be explained.

Operation WILDCARD's purpose is to develop a fighting machine capable of acting on its own while having high intelligence. Our hunter-killer prototype has shown exemplary results, and had we not based it off of a MW-01 Mechanical All-Terrain Fighting Vehicle (MAT-FV) chassis, research and development would have taken much longer. The prototype has an extremely complicated photoreceptor system capable of receiving and perceiving light from all angles within its containment. This also allows the installation of viewscreens and sensor equipment. This makes it so it is capable of identifying friend or foe--even without an ally signal emitter.

The prototype is also very intelligent, and is capable of speech with a well-developed vocabulator that can translate in Galactic Standard and Sazka. This allows the vehicle to also be able to relay information to fleeing civilians, and otherwise identify said civilians. Essentially, with this fighting machine in deployment, we can expect minimum casualties.

The machine has a very impressive arsenal as well. Two high-power gauss cannons mounted on the side, four shoulder-mounted missile launchers (Each carrying five standard Type-11 Personal Anti-Armor Weapon missiles), and three autocannons: two on each side and one mounted on the underside. It is also capable of overloading the hydraulics in its legs to either jump a short distance or stomp with extreme force. Now, as this thing is, as you can see, a robotic death monger, we can privately send a killswitch codeword or a beacon depending on the situation. Not only will this render the machine temporarily inert, but it also purges data regarding mission information as well as machine specs. And if a certain tool is used that doesn't give off the right signal as SDF-licensed tools, packed explosives will detonate, rendering the robot to a nearly unrecognizable state.

This could very well replace the mech program that can be dangerous for our soldiers. We only have a prototype which we plan to show at the Karboria Military Festival next month among other exhibits. We plan to have great success with this machine and hope to find it on the battlefield soon.

Lakfakalle, Kalle Star System
The sun began to fade into night once again, after the glare of the supernova and the sudden light of day after being enveloped in a solid sphere, the night was welcome. Everyone on the planet looked up at the sky, wondering just how much had been destroyed. Those who expected to be greeted by the comforting presence of Terra in the distance were disappointed, as it was nothing more than dust floating through the void. The gaseous remnants of the once mighty Hyphelia formed a small cloud of gas, but even in all this destruction, there was survival.

In that gas cloud laid hundreds of space stations, the same ones used to gather fuel. They were charred and dented, but their hulls were not breached even by a supernova. They floated there in the leaf-like green gaseous remnants of Hyphelia, a symbol of hope for Lakfakalle, collecting the remaining gases to be used as fuel. They may have lost two worlds and twenty billion lives, but they had not yet lost their hope for the future. That hope still lived, in every Child of Lakfakalle, it lived. Even though they had just gone through a tragedy, they were more determined than ever to earn their place in the universe.

Rockets began to fly from the surface once more, bringing up hastily constructed warp rings to continue the collective dreams of Lakfakalle. Construction workers put everything they had into the new space stations above the planet. Completely normal and unremarkable citizens donated anything extra they had, this time not to a war effort, but to an expansion effort. Recruiting offices were flooded with people of all ages and species, signing up for colony programs and military positions. Researches started trying every idea they could come up with until they got something that could help the Federation rebuild. It was like the ancient Earth Alliance all over again, pulling themselves out of a horrific war and constructing something great out of the ashes.

Twilight's Room
Urania smiled, and began pacing like an Admiral before a battle.

"There is a system called Sol, send a fleet there, set up an outpost. Arm it well, fortify the system, make it a fortress. Others may be there, and you may be fighting them already, but do not fire on them. Transmit peace messages, ask them to help you defend the system. This involved the Imperial threat, Sol is a perfect inter-universal jump point, as the system's space-time has been weakened by the centuries of heavy warp drive operation. Oh yes, the Triarians. Contact Lakfakalle and ask for assistance, don't specify military, just for assistance. It'll most likely end the war, probably. I make it a point to not look into the future, there's no fun in knowing everything."

Azwraith (Imperial)
Security teams began to stream into the bay, each one getting cut down almost instantly by the unstoppable Triarian advance. This was a tactic the crew certainly didn't expect to encounter, but they were prepared for it.

A message was sent out to the rest of the fleet, the voice of a human being carried on normal radio waves.

"All ships, retreat to system S-094, flagship self destruct protocols are in place! As Admiral, I am giving Captain Hoshino the field commission of Admiral. [i] Haigranizol Terra! Haigranziol Humanidad!"

With the order, the fleet disappeared in a red haze of tachyon particles. Meanwhile, the flagship remained. Alarms began to blare onboard, and viewscreens all over the ship displayed a two-minute self destruct countdown timer.

Vedian High Council
Thirteen Vedians sat around a large metallic table, throwing arguments at each other in a frenzy of telepathy.
"You have all felt it, the fighting. Out there."
"We cannot reach them you fool!"
"War in galaxy, yes. War."
"You do no wish to stand by while these wars rage on?"
"Sense fighting, hurts. Can't sleep. Death. Death. Can't sleep"
"ENOUGH!"
The voice roared through the chamber, ringing in the heads of the council.
"Zoram!" "Zoram!" "Zoram!" "Zoram!" "Zoram!" "Zoram!" "Zoram!" "Zoram!" "Zoram!" "Zoram!" "Zoram!" "Zoram!" "Zoram!"
When they had finished reciting their leader's name, the minds of all those in the chamber were perfect still, not a single thought in the minds of the council.
"I will send a message, we can see if we can find the technology to take us off this planet and to a new life."

Real Space near Vedian
"You're sure the signal came from this world?"Nihlus asked with a hint of annoyance in his tone.

"Yes Lord." The crewman replied.

Nihlus keyed his vox activation rune broadcasting to the planets surface.

"I am Lord Nihlus of the Night Lords, what might you call yourselves if you can even understand me?" The Daemon spoke into the Vox with obvious displeasure.

Real Space near Azwraith

"Warmaster Finch the invasion force has failed the admiral has just called for a retreat. " said the vox operator.

Finch pondered this for a moment then turned to a pair of Chaos Marines near him.

"Bring me the admiral... alive I think, he will make an excellent treat for Novos. " Finch said. His gaze resting on his Daemon blade.

A warp portal blared into existence with the sacrifice of a single life. The 2 marines boarded the bridge of the flagship through the portal and began hunting the room for the Admiral attacking anyone who dared oppose them.

The fabric of space rippled as a Supreme Warship, with a squadron of blue-trailed Corvettes sticking close to the ship, folded into the system. After a few moments of turning passive sensors to active and scanning the system, they encountered unknown ship classes wit a rather depressing feel about them, even from a computer screen, and a flagship of possible familiarity.
To the flagship:
