Faction Sheet:Image: Name:Hive Fleet KrakenOriginated From:Warhammer 40kLeader: The hivelord is the driving force behind the Swarmlord but the Swarmlord is his will made manifest.Notable Members: Notable Weapons/Strengths: Also I would like the southern part of the world where the Half moon bay is.

It's not very informative. What is the leader like? what type of weapons do they use specifically? there is a character sheet specifically for leaders, I dunno if you missed it. Such ambiguity leads to confusion and some people use this confusion to their advantage because the Game Master knows nothing about the universe. I'd ask to please give us more details, but it's up to Gummi.

Since I'm not that in depth on 40K series, I'm not sure if the links work out with me since it's literally a bunch for me to read. I'm not really sure on your location though, like I'm not sure where exactly that is. ><

Edit: Alright BB, time to edit once again. Also don't forget about the faction sheet and the leader character sheet

Well, the Tyranids are a hive based insect like(Emphasis on like) species who use biological abilities and no technology. Think of them as a swarm of locusts who consume all in their path; though their leaders can have a certain amount of devious intelligence. The Zerg were basically rip offs of them, so think of them in those terms.

Also, Faction app will be up in a sec

To put in short, his faction is like a gigantic parasite that consumes all living creatures to further their evolution. If you ever played Halo, they're like the Flood only a million times worst. As for the chosen location, I don't know.

Oh, so it's basically like a parasitic faction? Well, I guess I can accept, but I still need to see the leader CS for that faction.

Alright, accepted. I might need a bit more specifics on where your faction would be located, like is it closer to the left side of the map or the right, is it on the bottom continent or on the small island near the top?

Quick question; are we allowed OCs in this, because I can't find much info on the NEGs president for some reason. The series never really focused on the higher ups directly.

Alright, I'll work on editing the pics right now.

Oh, and here's the catch with OCs. I will allow OCs, but they have to be a part of a faction and not completely original (to avoid too many OP things). So yeah, I guess you can have some OCs in your faction.

I did an update for my faction location.
Also the Dust slowly reproduce and spread to neighboring areas in-till it covers the planet. The other faction could learn how to use the Dust, but Dust infection has a 10% survival rate but if they do survive it gain the ability to control it and manipulate it. But it can be deadly for other for example another race from the endless space universe the Harmony the dust is a plague causing them trying to purge it across there galaxy causing a minor apocalypse to the other races.

A very big threat they consume planets till theres nothing left not even an atmosphere.
Edit:Day 01: Mycetic spores are dropped, mostly containing Lictors and Genestealers. As soon as they hit the ground, the reproduction of Tyranid creatures likely begins immediately.
Day 09: By now, the Tyranid infestation will have expanded to around 250 km around the drop point, and will likely present a significant threat to planetary defense force troopers and the resident Imperial Guard.
Day 13: Tyranids have expanded to 700 km from the drop point; some may begin infesting local water sources.
Day 37: Tyranids completely control the area within 2,000 km radius of the drop point and basolithic infestation has begun to reach a 5,000 km radius from the drop point of the first mycetic spores.
Day 48: Tyranid population growth becomes exponential, with population doubling approximately every 3 days.
Day 50: The main Hive Fleet arrives, with the number of Tyranid craft in the swarm generally numbering around 1.5 billion. All psychic contact with the planet through the Warp is cut off by the Warp shadow of the Hive Mind. Any attempts to escape are quickly stopped by the Hive Fleet. Any remaining surface life is eliminated by Gaunts.
Day 51: Primary consumption of planetary biomass begins (any sentient resistance has generally been eliminated by now). Brood ships land, releasing Ripper swarms, which consume all organic material (even the other Tyranids) and deposit it at the reclamation pools. Capillary towers (and the Brood ships) send the material into orbit for use by the Hive Fleet.
Day 80: Ripper swarms board the Brood ships and return to the Hive Fleet. The hive ships descend into the upper atmosphere and begin collecting it. Reduction in atmospheric pressure causes oceans to boil away, which are also collected so that their free water can be used by the fleet. The loss of ocean mass causes plate tectonic shifts, dramatically increasing volcanic activity across the victimized world. Upon completion, the Hive Fleet leaves the planet and reenters the Warp in search of fresh prey.
Day 100: The Imperial Navy arrives in response to the planet's original Astropathic distress call, only to find a destroyed, lifeless, uninhabitable planet.
This is pretty much what they do.

Edit2: But this cycle depends on many variables like strength and size, as well as how fast the genestealers act to get into power.

Oh, and not sure if you got this from the rules, but you could only make one faction, just so we aren't flooded with them.
