Rumble turned up the notch on his mech's speed once more before turning on the rear view. Yep, he was still there. In fact he was most certainly gaining. Rumble wanted to engage the thrusters, but he thought it would be a bad idea as he weaved through traffic and past civilians. Suddenly his system alerted him of a massive energy buildup. Rumble looked around, trying to find some sort of weapon being trained on him. It took a moment for him to realize the energy reading was Violet. The human built up all of her pent up energy and released a sphere of purple energy that resulted in a big explosion.
"That's an impressive amount of firepower there! I thought that was just a cool looking tattoo!" Rumble said looking up at Violet from his cockpit. "Now check this out!"
Rumble turned the torso of his machine around, causing Venator to run backwards. Before the smoke cleared from Violet's attack he let loose a barrel of Drill Missiles. They whizzed through the air, hungry for a target. They pierced through the smoke cloud and exploded in a cluster on top of whoever might be unlucky enough to be there. He was curious if anything could shrug off such a barrage of attacks. Well, besides him of course. He then noticed Violet staring down at him from on top. She looked funny with the pizza in her mouth. He would have laugh if the tone of her voice wasn't so serious.
"How much farther?" She cried with a hint of desperation.
"Just around this corner. Just wait, I'll give him the 'ole one two. I bet I could knock the brute out in two punches or less, just wait."
Rumble skid around the curb and ran towards the concrete fence surrounding the park. It looked a little too high to jump over... well.. I guess he wasn't going to walk away from this fight without SOME property damage, right?
"DUCK!" Rumble called to Vi just a moment before he thrust his twin drills into the wall. While the wall was concrete, it wasn't exactly designed for war and he bore cleanly through. He ran a few meters forward before digging his heels into the soft grass to slow down. He knelt down to let Violet get off before turning to face the direction their adversary would be coming from. All it took was a few threatening battle poses before he was pumped for the fight to come.
