Rob-Haywood-Many people

Rob didn't really know what was going on for whatever amount of time passed by, he seemed like a ghost. Drifting about, people doing what they must as he stood there. They were safe now, or at least that what Rob picked up on. He couldn't do much wounded, well not anything at all really. He was pretty sure he faded in and out of consciousness a couple of times. Riley saw to that, it obviously wasn't a good sign. But it was nothing terrible. Well, he hoped so at least.

Rob stayed back as the car pulled up. He flinched when the new person, Who apparently was called Abram punched Daniel in the face. Apparently it was a 'friendly' punch. Rob didn't remember that being a thing. But apparently it was. Who knew? But Rob eyes widened as he saw who came out of the car. The person had gotten Him basically into Haywood in the first place. Jess, the person who somehow still managed to survive even when heavily pregnant . "Huh, Who knew?" Rob said out loud as he looked at her. "What a flipping coincidence" He bumbled out loud once again. She did seemed worried as she wanted to find someone called 'Floyd' Who must of been someone that she cared deeply about. It did bring a smile on his face that she was still alive.

Matt-Outpost-'Thomas', Rudy, Eliot, Many others: Speech time!

Matt looked at Rudy for a second and gave a smile, He leaned in to Rudy "You know I wouldn't do anything....Crazy...that would harm people who have no involvement in the matter. Plus I want Outpost to go healthily not to be in Chaos or whatever shit could happen...Trust me" His smile widened as he turned around to the rest of the people. As Richard came back Matt went back to learning as did the whole class.

As the class ended and Richard hastily left the class, which most people would seeing as his class was sadly diminishing, Matt was tapping against the table as he heard Thomas talking to Elliot. Which caused Him to smile. After Rudy translated it of course. A small smirk on his face. Thomas was certainly...helping Matt in a way.

Matt listened as the people spoke, his eyes flickering between them all. Watching their reactions , and in the end. All eyes turned on him. It was his time...to say something, what that was going to be he didn't totally know yet. Matt stood up and with a quick movement to get him in a center position. He opened his mouth.

"We all want to work towards our and everyone else's lives in outpost. That just how it is, we wouldn't even be here if it wasn't for Myriah for example. But as you all know, Problems always arise. For us who were there during the mutiny, we may all remember how Reggie stopped that. And that he did, He did stop that. Myriah would probably be dead if it wasn't for him. But, if my reasons are to be believed. She would probably be alive if it wasn't for him anyway. Because, I believe that he was one of the core people of the mutiny. He was one of the main people behind the whole thing. Think about, Reggie was always a very charismatic person. But he is intimidating as well.But most of all, he was smart. The mutiny wanted to control the outpost. But Reggie knew that no matter what, if the mutiny leaders took the outpost. Whoever was left would always be uneasy and rebel. So, what was the best way for him to gain control, perhaps even favor among the whole of outpost. Simple. You betray your other colleagues and shut down the entire attempt. And since Reggie was somewhat new and he stayed in the background of the whole attempt. No one even knew. So you shut down what you started, everyone thinks your a hero. You quickly rise to basically be the leader. And everyone thinks your the hero, or that at least your not to be questioned or fucked with. And guess what? Reggie Wins" Matt paused for a second as he slowly glanced around to everyone in the room.

"We're all not happy with how things are going, and I think we all know the lone thing keeping us from saying anything is how he 'saved' us from the attempt. But what if he didn't even do that? What then, I bet you would all be asking questions" Matt took another look around the room.

"Now of course, You can't just take my word for it, But I believe that in his own little cabin. Which not many people even have their own cabin which is a bit weird seeing as we're cramped. Has proof of this. Why? You may asked would he keep evidence or anything that could link him to the mutiny. Simple. Because they would be no direct link, nothing that will blare it right in your face. But I bet you somewhere in there there is a link that will show you that Reggie has been lying"

"And..We're going to Find it!"

Aiden-Camp-Everyone

Aiden stared into the fire with contempt, which he found himself doing a lot more now. Jennifer started to get worried, which worried the other camp mates. Which made him worry. "I'm sure it will be alright...They'll be back any second" and he wasn't wrong. They were back soon enough, or at least Aiden thought they were. Or maybe he had been staring into the fire too long. As he stood with with a small smile on his face. He realized that they had something....or rather someone. Someone who had obviously hit their head on some thing and was unconsciousness. It was good that he was found by Hank and DeSean. anyone else would of mugged him and then shot him in the head.

As they got him to a nice place to hopefully become more...uh...conscious, Aiden noticed Hank doing the thing he did sometimes when he was stressed, But as he seemed to finish Aiden walked up to him. "Hank, The meal is nearly ready. But I also to tell you that once again you have confirmed my belief that not everyone has lost them selves to...the, uh dark side. That man would mostly likely be dead. But here he is, not dead....But, Umm...Once he wakes up. Is there a general consensus of what we are going to do? Cause most likely he's going to wake up and wonder where the fuck he is. Which, I would do as well. He probably no danger seeing as we took anything could hurt anyone away. I generally think we see what he is really like...and then we make a decision

Rudy - Outpost - Matt

The room was in silence as the students processed what Matt had said. They had all listened in rapt attention but now were left in confusion. Rudy turned to Elliot and asked, "Did you get all that?" Elliot confirmed that he did and stepped forward to sign toward Matt. 'If this is true, all Reggie has done is manipulate us.'

Samantha then stepped forward and placed a palm on the desk in front of Matt. She looked at everyone in turn, a determined gleam set into her eyes. "I'm in," she said. "I've never trusted that man anyway."

"We need to find out the truth," Thomas said, stepping forward as well.

The other students began to crowd around Matt's desk to give their confirmation. Soon, only Rudy was standing outside the circle. The group looked at him expectantly and he shook his head in frustration. "Fuck, guys. What if Matt's wrong about this?"

"What if he's right?" Thomas replied. "All we're going to do is sneak into his cabin."

Rudy rolled his eyes. If they were caught, Rudy had no idea what Reggie would do. Innocent or not, the man would likely dispense his personal brand of justice before the council even caught wind of it. Then the council... fuck, Myriah would be so disappointed. "I just..."

Elliot shook his head and waved Rudy over. 'Don't make do this by myself,' he signed. He looked at Rudy with pleading eyes. They were friends and Rudy was abandoning him, those eyes seemed to say. Rudy hardly thought he was abandoning anyone, but it concerned him that Elliot was counting on him for this. It seemed to him that Elliot was only doing this because he was angry with the community and it was motivation like that which tended to lead to trouble. Still... Rudy couldn't stand by and do nothing at all. "Fuck, fine. Whatever." Rudy stepped forward to join the circle and Elliot flashed him a smile.

Thomas then spoke up. "Good. Then we're all agreed." He gave Matt a nod before continuing. "Rudy and I are aware of Reggie's schedule, but I think Rudy can give a better idea of Reggie's habits... All we need is about fifteen minutes to get in and search the cabin. I'd like to say we could do it in less, but I have never done something like this before and I doubt any of you have either."

Everyone nodded but Samantha, who began to awkwardly look off to the side. "I can pick locks," she said, touching at a strand of her hair. "But it might take me some time. I'm not perfect."

"If you take too long, then we just abort and try another night," Thomas said. "Just as long as we're careful."

Elliot raised his hands. 'If we want to avoid making noise, why don't we just sign? I know no one ever hears me coming.'

Well, Rudy wasn't so sure about that. Some of the students were slow learners. "Uh, well shit, we only need to say a few specific things," he said. "Like go and stop. We're still learning but it's easy to remember a few basic signs."

Thomas nodded. "Sounds good to me. We'll just need a few of us to watch the perimeter and a few of us searching the cabin. Let's sort ourselves into who wants to do what..."
Shannon - Haywood - Jess/Riley/Daniel/Emma/Amelia

Shannon shook her head. She was fearful of Lauren's state of mind. The woman had named Shannon responsible for the death of her lover, after all. "We just keep her close at hand and keep an eye on her."

Emma then appeared at the doorway escorting a pregnant woman inside. Shannon found herself staring down at the woman's prominent belly and her mind filled with dread. There was a new life inside of this woman, a baby ready to be born into this awful world. Selfishly, Shannon hoped this woman would be leaving soon. If not, it was only fuel for what Shannon had to tell Daniel.

"I'm Shannon," she said a bit coldly. She then quickly excused herself and joined Daniel and Amelia in the living room. Shannon was relieved to see Lauren still with her head buried into her knees as it seemed the woman had fallen asleep. Shannon gave Daniel a vexed look before sitting down beside him and resting her head on her good arm. Soon, Emma appeared and Shannon gave Daniel a small nudge. The four were now alone with Katie and Lauren fast asleep.

"This is messed up, guys... really messed up." Shannon sighed shakingly, exhausted not just from the attack, but also from Lauren's verbal assault. She knew that Daniel and Amelia must feel even worse after being in the shootout. "I can't believe we lost so many, I can't..." She trailed off and rubbed at her bad shoulder. Shannon was finding it hard to focus her words and the slight pain from touching at it helped her concentrate.

"... I don't think we can stay. Not just because this place is going to give us bad memories now, but because... well, we can stay for as long as it takes us to bury the dead, but after that we need to go." She looked at Daniel, still touching at her shoulder. "This place is too big for a dozen people to defend, especially when most of us are sick, crippled, or just children. That's just how it is. That's reality." She then looked toward Amelia and Emma, talking to each of them in turn. "And it's also for that reason that I think we need to leave some people behind. We can't sustain so many injured people. You guys can decide who we can bring with us, but I don't think it can be everyone."

There was a pause, and Shannon suddenly panicked. She worried what they were thinking of her. Maybe Lauren was right and she was heartless after all. "I know I've made bad calls before, but that's how it is now! We messed up massively here and we can't fix any of it. I saw Poly die right before me, and all I could think of was that it could have been any one of us. Everyone that died, it's a miracle we're sitting here at all. We've been handed a lucky break and we have to make the best of it."
Reggie - Outpost - Enrique

Reggie stared back evenly. Perhaps Enrique thought himself amusing, or maybe even tough. Reggie was unsure if he was either. "I like to know who's working with me," he said. With, not for. Happy now, Enrique? "But I can respect that. It takes a strong man to help rather than hinder. You don't find many people like that these days." Amusing or not, Reggie didn't think of Enrique as a liar. Reggie believed that this, at least, was the truth.

"You have to understand that we're a wary bunch around here. You can't expect friendship just because the council's welcomed you." In the long pause that followed, Reggie turned toward the recruits and put his hands on his hips. "I'll need them ready in under a week. Do you think you can handle that? The safety of our community is at stake here."

Alex Clark - The Outpost

Tightening the grip on his pitchfork, of which he had straightened the iron pins to make it easier to use, he followed Jerry towards the Outpost's safe boundaries. It was his thrid actual scouting mission, and after every single time he felt as if he'd never do it again. Arthur was walking closely behind himself, and chatting with phon, which, as usual, was a very one-sided conversation. Amanda was walking next to Alex, softly shaking her head as Arthur kept up the monologue. "So I stabbed that crawler in the eye-socket with my broken baseball bat, and it went all like 'Blueeergghhhh!' and dropped over me. Anyhow, I got up, when..." Alex shook his head and put his mind on the surroundings again. Even though it was 'mostly safe' walking out here at daytime, he had experienced enough to never dare let down his guard for a moment too long. As his mind trailed off he shook his head again, and let his fingers play over the shaft of the pitchfork. Looking at his own weapon and then at the handgun Amanda was holding he felt a spark of jealousy, which immediately subsided. He'd have more chance to break his nose firing that thing than to actually hit a crawler. Despite the tendency of the locals, he couldn't help thinking of all people here as locals, being British himself, to call the walking dead 'biters' he stuck to the name 'crawlers' he and his girlfriend had found for them.

Finally, the wooden walls of the camp were in sight, and despite all the pretenses of toughness amongst the group scouts, he could sense more than hear a collective sigh as the walls came into sight. It was at that point that disaster struck. Jerry tripped over what he had seen as a treebranch, but was actually the arm of a corpse, which immediately sprung to action, and grabbed Alex' feet, making him trip on top of the walker. His pitchfork impaled a newspaper rag as he fell, and have him a nast bruise on his forehead when his head slammed against the metal base. Dazed and surprised he found the walker bringing his foot to its mouth, but a timely reaction of Lucas, who put his foot down on the crawler, saved his shoe.

Breathing heavily he backed away from the corpse against a tree as the situation subsided. A moment of shocked silence later Phon offered him a silent hand while Arthur inspected the dead crawler. "Sneaky sonovabitches." He muttered as he gave the head a kick as Jerry gave Alex his pitchfork back, and pointed at the wound on Alex' forehead. "Luckily we're almost home, get that thing cleaned up. Can't be healty to stick that thing into dead people and then stab yourself with it." Alex silently nodded as he accepted the tool and felt his forehead, gritting his teeth as he felt the minor injury sting like hell.

As they approached the gates in silence, Alex felt the usual shaking coming up in his hands, so he made sure to wrap them thightly around the heavy pitchfork to conceal that. How had he even ended up with the scouts anyways? Perhaps he should try getting a change of jobs, this clearly wasn't his cup of tea.

Hank - Camp - Aiden

Hank put his hand on Aiden's shoulder and nodded in agreement. Aiden had been one of the first people they rounded up once the outbreak hit. He was a valuable addition to the first five, Seth, DeSean, Jennifer, Heather and himself. Not only was he a magnificent cook, but he was an overall delightful person. He never seemed to brake like most people did, not yet at least. Though he was a bit distant at times, he had shown them he was part of their new family as some called it.

Though none of them were truly blood related, it seemed everyone knew each other very well. In the zombie apocalypse, one gets to know another rather quickly. But like a family, there were also the bad times. There was an occasion where Seth and DeSean got into a brawl about something - something that Hank couldn't ever recall. There were also all those times with Heather and her nagging personality. There was also Imogen who used to be the most distant member, but learned to adapt to their profound ways of this new life. Getting all these people to live in peace had been a rough journey, but they managed - up to this point.

Bringing this new survivor would play out the same way it had when the group started getting bigger. As a day-to-day member of the group, new additions would always be looked at with weary eyes. They were strangers, but like always, they would have to adapt to the new rules to survive. This redneck they found would have to do the same if he decides to stay. Thing is, Hank doesn't want to let him go either. If he throws him back out there the guy will most likely die. Even if he provides the guy with supplies and food, there is no guarantee he'd live. But if he stayed with them, he could become another great addition to the group, just like Aiden had.

"DeSean wants him gone, but I don't want that. If we allow him to just leave, he'll die. Just like that. He wont stand a chance out there, even after he gets well. I'm not sayin' I want to force him to stay - i'm no dictator. But I don't want to send him to his death" Hank started, removing his hand from the other man's shoulder. "Seth is with me, like always. Aaliyah and Imogen will probably feel the same way. Noah and his son.........well.......I'm not too sure what they'll think, but I know they're aren't murderers. I know Noah is concerned for his boy, but we can't allow that to cloud his judgement on allowing this man to stay. Jennifer of course will follow her husband. And Heather............." he paused for a second and crossed his arms. "Let's just say she wont like whatever decision I make. But you're right. We'll see what he does when he awakens, then we'll act accordingly. But listen Aiden, I need him to stay. I can't have living blood on my hands, not now, not ever" Hank finished up with a fierce stare.

The man was not pleased with the turn of events, but it had already happened. He promised himself that he would not allow another living person die if he could do something about it. This was a perfect example of that promise. He has the supplies and capability of keeping this man alive, so he's going to do it, just like he has for everyone else. "Now let's go eat, I'm starvin."

Soon enough, he sat beside Seth on a log surrounding the campfire. Jennifer and DeSean were there as well. His main concern though was what was happening inside the medical tent.

"A week..." Enrique said looking at the trainees, "That'll be a trouble for some of these guys, most of em can make it. Might I ask what your plans for our 'survival' are within the next week?"

Enrique said pulling out another cigarette and lighting it, he tucked his lighter into his back pocket and his carton of cigs into his coat pocket. He looked at the back of Reggie's head, he figured it would be easy to just pull his pistol from its holster underneath his arm put it to the back of his head and just blow his brains out his forehead. He wouldnt do it of course but he could, it would be very easy, then the rifle team would spin around and he'd be off this earth quickly. He brought the cigarette to his lips and took a small drag, he tapped his forefinger on the side of it and knocked off the ash.

Meghan - The Pub - Cody/Hazel

The dinner forced Meghan to hold back a smile; it was cool to have a guy around that wasn't anti-social like Sylar. Not that she didn't enjoy Sylar's company - they'd been through so much together - but he was basically batman in a leather jacket: He ticked people off easily and didn't really care unless they brought their feelings to action. Sylar confused Meghan sometimes; at one time, he would not care for anyone, keeping only the two of them alive. Even to Meghan, Sylar could be crude. However, when something happened that put Meghan in danger... Well, she'd hate to be the one that cause that danger. If she was in danger, Sylar turned into a very intimidating man, and then he'd pulled her into his arms, swearing he'd never let her out of his sight again.

Meghan's mind snapped to the present and she listened to Cody. "It's a miracle that we found Hazel and the Pub, actually... Thats what we call it, by the way..." Meghan stated, and stiffled a laugh. She spooned her rice from the bowl and ate it with her good arm.

Alex Clark - The Outpost

Accepting a handshake from Phon as the scouting group dispersed Alex made his way towards his tent. There were larger andmore 'prestigeous' places to live inside the Outpost, but they'd be crazy to spend that on a new guy. The tent he had slept in for the past 3 weeks was far from comfortable, but at least it offered a bit of warmth and protection against the rain and the insects. Mostly. Putting the pitchfork in the ground next to the entrance, a gesture that served as a "I'm home" sign, he got on his knees and crawled inside, but heard a sound behind him. There she was, that little girl. Alice was one of the few children living in the Outpost, and one of the cherished hopes for the future. Sadly for him, she liked Alex.

"You sound funny. Say something."

Sadly for her, Alex liked kids.

"You sound funny."

The girl frowned at him and made a cocky twist with her head; it was clear Alex' answer did not please her. "Pff! Go dine with a biter!" She cursed him, which only made Alex smile more. "Well once that herd hits us, we'll invite them for a feast then? That way you won't miss out on the fun at least." He answered, upon which the roughly 10-year old girl rolled her eyes and walked away. He found it strange to see her like that, and on moments like that she had an uncanny resemblance to her niece back in the UK. She had been 12 years old, and had just discovered the magic of sarcasm and puberty, something that had shocked him beyond reasoning. Now... Well, he had not a single fucking clue about how the situation was across the Atlantic. The most he could do was hope, and ... What were their chances anyways? Was there any reason to harbour hope that his family'd have survived...? He'd have to hope that, but was it really a reasonable thing to believe in...? Dusting off his pants he tossed the backpack in the tent and made his way towards the cantina. At least he could finally eat now. Finally fill his stomach without having to fear that it'd come out any second.

The dining hall was crowded, as it was about the hour where everyone went to eat, and he had to hurry to capture a tincan of cooked pasta and a chair next to a guy who worked inside the walls. What was his name again...? Jill...Sullivan...Sylvan... Sylar! He was pretty good at names, and he was proud of that. He'd only had been introduced to the guy once, and indirectly at that, and that made him feel proud of himself. "Hello, Sylar was it? I don't think we've been properly introduced yet. The name's Alex." He started a conversation while poking at the pasta. He'd gotten the habit to socialize a lot in here, because anything that'd give him a reason to do something instead of give him the time to start thinking and sulking was good.

Cody - The Pub - Meghan/Hazel

"The Pub huh? Cool. So you seriously just let people stay here that wander through?"
He asked of Hazel.
"That's pretty awesome of you. Charity like that is too rare nowadays. Everyone only cares about themselves, and for good reason. There's always people looking to take advantage of others. If you'll excuse my forwardness Hazel, what I'm getting at is I'd like to stay here and help run the place, if you don't mind. I really have nowhere else to go and I can help you defend everything and take care of people. I'm a Combat Medic and a damned good one, so there's not a lot that's life threatening I can't fix."

He paused to take a bite of his rice then decided he had nothing further to say.

Katie - Haywood - Lauren

Katie was disappointed that the car wasn't her daddy. She was about to cry when she realised who she had been placed with.
"Lauren!" she exclaimed happily, hugging the woman even though it hurt her shoulder. The doctor had put her arm in a sling but it still hurt a little when she pressed it or moved it the wrong way.
"Lauren you're awake!" she cried excitedly, her smile as bright as the sunshine. "Now we have to find Bull. Where is he?"

Once they found Bull they just had to wait for her daddy...
Her daddy!
"Oh Lauren!" the little girl exclaimed just as excitedly. "They said my daddy didn't go away! I'm sure he'll be here soon! We'll all be together again!"

Nothing would have made the child happier in that moment then to have both her daddy and Bull walk in at that moment. Everyone seemed so scared and unsure, but her daddy would know what to do. He always knew what to do.
She couldn't wait to see her daddy again. He had been mad at her the last time she had seen him, but now she could tell him she was sorry for being bad and that if he promised never to leave her again she would never be bad again.

They could all go somewhere safe. Daddy, Lauren, Bull, Emma, Daniel, Rob, the doctor.... everyone.

Lauren - Haywood - Katie

It had gotten late, somehow. Lauren had evidently fallen asleep after her altercation with that girl. She didn't remember much of the last few hours, though she was relieved her dreams had been quiet. She knew- she just knew- that Bull would find himself into her dreams sooner or later. His big stupid hairy grin would be plastered on his face and he take her into his big stupid hairy arms. The thought alone made her want to throw up.

But it also made her angry.

She had awoken to an empty living room with Katie at her side. The little girl was nudging her, looking excited despite the day's gruesome events. Despite all odds, Katie was such a strong girl. Tyler at least did something right raising her. When the little girl mentioned Bull, a lump formed in Lauren's throat. She found herself unable to swallow and her body wracked with pain all over again. She was going to have to tell Katie all over again that someone close to her had died and Lauren didn't even have Bull to help this time.

"Katie... Katie." Lauren reached out and gently took Katie's hands. She rubbed at them softly in attempt to calm the girl down. "This place is dangerous. These people aren't good people. I-I..." She found herself choking up. This was beyond difficult; It was something Lauren had never experience before. Not even with her parents, who she believed were long gone at this point. They had been getting old as of late, having given birth to Lauren late in life after choosing to go without children for many years. Then her father had been diagnosed with cancer only a few years ago and his life had been steadily draining away ever since. Lauren had been prepared for the death of her father and, to a lesser extent, her mother.

But Bull... She hadn't been prepared for that. She loved that man... Had loved that man. More than anyone else she had ever been with. Bull hadn't always been the greatest, but he had been hers.

"Bull is dead, Katie. These people killed him... It's just us now." The words were blunt, she knew, but Lauren couldn't think of another way to put it. She wanted to cry and bawl all over again, but she couldn't afford to. She needed to be angry, not sad. She needed to take Katie far far away from these people. Maybe take her away from the living entirely while she was at it.

Reggie - Outpost - Enrique

"I give that gang a week before they attack the hotel. Soon after that, they'll be coming after Outpost." There was no doubt in Reggie's mind that the Art Museum gang would retaliate. Men like them, they didn't take attacks on their own lightly. Reggie had to admit they were a lot like him, in that regard. "We need to strike first."

Reggie turned back around and scrutinized the new cigarette Enrique had pulled out. "And beyond that, we have a horde of biters coming our way in just a few weeks after that. We need to live through this hardship to fight in the next, do you understand? I'm counting on you to pull this off. I'll make sure you and your friends are well respected around here if you do."

Satisfied, Reggie turned to leave. He passed by Thomas who gave him a smile and a nod. Reggie gave him a nod in return and continued on his way. Behind him, he could hear Thomas speak to Enrique, "Hey, can we talk? I just..." And then Reggie was out of earshot.
Rudy - Outpost/Night Raid

'Go,' Thomas signed, stepping away from the cabin door. Samantha nodded and began working at the lock with a nail file. Rudy hunched next to the wall in an attempt to hide himself, even though the people on the wall would probably spot them no matter how invisible he made himself. Hopefully the watchers would be focused looking outward for a few minutes, at least.

George moved to Samantha's side and asked, "Are you sure you know what you're doing?"

"She needs to concentrate," Thomas said a bit harshly. "And don't talk." Looking embarrassed, George stepped away and Samantha continued as if she hadn't heard anything.

It was only the four of them searching the cabin, though Samantha had volunteered to stand watch directly outside the house. The other students were tasked with watching the surrounding perimeter for anyone walking by, but that was unlikely as it was frowned upon for anyone to be wandering about at night if they didn't have a job to do. Still, it was nice to have that extra security.

Samantha grunted excitedly and threw open the door. She dramatically bowed and gestured inside, making Rudy smile. Thomas then nodded and led the way inside, leaving Samantha to shut the door behind them.

Inside, Rudy paused to look over the interior. Even in the dim light from George's flashlight, Rudy could see that the cabin was rather sparse of personal effects. Not that it was easy to get a hold of decorative statues or whatever kind of shit people were into, but it was common for the scouts to pick up items that had no real use nowadays. Rudy himself had nabbed a couple of posters for his own cabin and a couple of video games that would probably never be played again. Still, Reggie's cabin contained nothing like that. In the low shelf beside the bed sat a couple of books that Thomas was quickly pouring over. On the desk was only a couple of pencils and some paper. It was all so sparse and so utterly like Reggie.

"You sure Reggie won't be back soon?" George whispered into Rudy's ear, having apparently forgotten the plan to not talk for a second time. Rudy ignored him for a moment to pour over the papers on the desk. They were covered in rather ineligible words and large parts of them were scratched out. Rudy's heart skipped a beat in dread at the idea of having possibly found evidence, but he soon realized that the papers simply detailed a schedule for the scouts. Like Rudy had known, Reggie had tonight scheduled as clean up for the surrounding forest.

"I'm sure," Rudy finally replied. "Reggie doesn't like sending any of the scouts out at night without him." George nodded and began looking over the papers himself, though Rudy could see the unease in the guy's brow.

Thomas then waved them over and pointed at a book in his hands. 'Found something,' he signed and handed the book over to Rudy. Licking at his lips, Rudy opened the book to the first page, but found only a blank page. George then joined him and hovered over his shoulder as he began to flip through the pages. November 6th one page finally said, almost making Rudy laugh to himself. It was a fucking journal.

Rudy quickly closed the book and handed it back to Thomas, who nodded and pointed back outside. Opening the door, the trio were surprised to find Samantha missing. George raised a hand to call out, but Thomas punched him in the shoulder before he could make a sound. Go, he signed, and nodded toward the administrative building. They had to contact Matt straight away. That had been the plan, after all. Rudy was concerned about Samantha, but they would have heard something if she had been caught, right?

There was no time to think on it, as Thomas was already sprinting away.

***

In the administrative building, George grabbed Rudy by the arm to stop him. "What are we doing?" he asked, clearly panicked. "What about Sam? And-And that journal... Reggie's going to know it's missing." Rudy blinked and turned toward Thomas, who only started back. It seemed George couldn't stand the silence as he soon added a voice-cracking "Well?".

Thomas shook his head. "I don't know where Sam is, but that doesn't matter right now. We found something in there, at least. And it wasn't like we could sit there and read the whole thing. We had to take it."

"He's right," Rudy said. "Fuck, come on, George. You need to cool it. If Sam was caught they wouldn't have left the fucking cabin she was guarding alone. Don't be an idiot."

It took a second for George to register what they had said, apparently, as there was a delay before his face turned crimson. "I'm going to look for her," he said, his voice indignant. He let go of Rudy's arm and left, practically stomping.

"Whatever," Rudy muttered, continuing ahead. Storming off in the dead of night was only going to make them getting caught more likely, but there was nothing they could do short of tying George up, but who knows what he would have done then. The last thing they needed was for someone to rat them out.

As Rudy opened up the journal to read it as he walked, Thomas caught up to him. "Kind of funny if you ask me," he said.

Distracted by the book, Rudy took a moment to respond. He was flipping through the pages to find the date of the mutiny. "What?"

"Has anyone told you you're kind of rude, Rudy?"

"... Oh, fuck off."

"I mean-"

Rudy shook his head and chuckled. "It's a nickname. Myriah thought it was funny." November 7th... November 12th... October 23rd? Strangely, the entries in the journal seemed to be mixed up, and some of them appeared to be written with much different writing implements.

"So, Rudy's not your real name?" Thomas asked, his brow raising. "What is it, then?"

While the disorganized dating wasn't out of the question for most journals, it seemed a really odd thing for Reggie of all people to be doing. "I don't really give it out nowadays. You could buy me dinner first, at least." Rudy looked toward Thomas with a smirk. The man only shook his head in response, but Rudy saw the slight amusement in his eyes.

They reached the office and found it unlocked like Matt had promised. They went to one of the unused cubby holes that had once upon a time been reserved for camp counselors, but now were being used by the council members. Rudy and Thomas were to leave a note of their success and leaving it in Matt's cubby would only lead to issues if someone else happened to pick it up for whatever reason. "I should hold on to the book for tonight," Thomas said as Rudy was placing the note.

"Why?" Rudy asked, stepping away from the cubbies.

"I'm new here, so I have less to lose, I think."

"I don't think so, dude. I have friends around here who can vouch for me. You? Not so much." Rudy crossed his arms and watched as Thomas seemed to think it over. He looked away momentarily and Rudy was worried he was going to argue. "I mean it, I'd be fine, really."

"... Hm. Okay. You're right." Thomas smiled and Rudy found himself smiling back. At least someone listened to reason, unlike Thomas' moron friend, Enrique.

"I'll get this to my cabin. I got a good hiding place in mind... Under a few magazines I picked up out scouting. No one in my cabin would dare touch those." Thomas looked at him in confusion and Rudy laughed. "Never mind."

"Sure. Thanks, Peter." Thomas smirked.

Peter? Fuck, that was way off. "Was that a guess?"

"Did I get it?"

"Hell no. Now you only get two more guesses."

"Fine with me."

It wasn't long after that the two went their separate ways for the night.

Enrique-Outpost-Thomas

Enrique watched as Reggie left, he took another puff of his cigarette and saw Thomas approach as well. Reggie briefly turned his head to listen but stopped after he was out of range, Enrique grumbled as he stared at the back of Reggie's head.

"Hey, can we talk? I just..." Thomas said as neared Enrique.

"Of course," Enrique said with a light grin taking another drag. He looked down at Thomas calmly, the man looked better than he used to, much more put together. But perhaps the fact that he slept in a building, had meals, and a good set of clothes had changed him for the better.

Bex - Outpost - Matt/Enrique

For Bex, it had been a difficult task getting up this morning. His head rocked with pain after having spent the night drinking. Although alcohol was scarce in Outpost and Reggie was intolerant of it being consumed by his scouts, some of the scouts who managed to procure themselves a stash anyway had been nice enough to share some of it with Bex. With Reggie and most of the scouts out on a night mission, it had been a night of unwinding and letting off stress for the rest of them. For Bex, it had been a bit more than that; It was hard for him to stop drinking once he started and the night had ended in a bleary daze.

He almost died in the morning when Tyler awoke him (Or at least it felt that way). The man had a serious look set onto his brow and he was curt in telling Bex to head to the administrative building. Whatever Tyler needed him for, Bex knew he couldn't blow it off as a hangover was a shameful excuse. Sluggishly, Bex dressed himself and left the cabin in a hurry. Tyler was waiting for him at the entrance to the administrative building where he then led the way inside.

"There's a plan set in motion," Tyler said as they walked. "One that'll help me gain some favor around here."

Bex stopped in his tracks and Tyler gave him an annoyed look. "What kind of plan?" Bex asked, warily.

Tyler shook his head. "I had Enrique plant something that will mean bad things for our friend Reggie. He has a lot of influence around here, so naturally he needs to be taken down a peg." Tyler stared, waiting for Bex to say something, but Bex had no idea what to say. This was really sudden. He had thought Tyler had changed, but here he was making dirty plans. Bex's head hurt way too much to process this.

"Why do we need to gain favor?" he finally asked.

Tyler stepped forward, getting close to Bex. His eyes stared him down and it took a large effort for Bex to focus. "I need to get my daughter back. Those Haywood monsters have her. They raided us and took my daughter away. They probably have the vile Lauren with them as well." Bex felt his stomach flip at the mention of Lauren. Or maybe that was the hangover. He finally gave in and rubbed at his sore head.

"And you want the scouts to lead an attack," Bex said. "I guess Reggie is already aiming to take down that one gang, so attacking another gang isn't all that different..."

Tyler smiled at this. "Yes. I'm glad you understand. All I'm doing is ensuring we get to my daughter as fast as possible." Tyler then turned around, leading Bex further into the building. They soon entered a room that looked like it had been turned into a makeshift classroom. Desks and tables of different shapes were littered about the room and a whiteboard had been put up in front of them. This must have been one of the language classes.

In the room stood a man who seemed to have been waiting for them. Tyler introduced Bex to him and Bex learned that the man was named Matt. He was in on all of this, it seemed. In a few minutes, Enrique arrived, prompting Tyler to start whatever this all was. Bex tried to avoid wincing in pain while Tyler talked.

"Rudy has the book for now, but I doubt he'll notice anything off with it. Very good work with that, Enrique." He gave the man a nod before continuing. "As for Samantha, I believe she was caught last night, though she had been courteous enough to lead whoever found her away from us. This is probably for the best, because, well..." Tyler now gave Bex a pointed look. "I think she'll be the one. All right, Enrique?" Bex looked confusedly from Tyler to Enrique. He felt like there was something he was missing here.

"I don't care how it's done, because it doesn't really matter in the end."

Matt- Outpost-Thomas,Enrique,Bex

Matt smiled as Bex and him met for the first time. Well, in person at least. Matt already knew about it, he knew a lot about most people in Haywood. Even the new ones, He even learned a bit about Thomas. "Hello, nice to meet you" Matt smiled as he studied Bex face. After a few moments it was clear that Bex was suffering from using Alcohol the night before...and maybe before that...and maybe even before that as well. But he could of been wrong. As Thomas explained that Matt was in on all of this, they started to talk.

Matt showed a wince of annoyance at the news that Samantha was caught, but quickly went back to his constant faint smile. "Good. I trust Rudy, but I doubt that he would notice anything apparent to what you guys have done." He smirked as he started to lightly tap against one of the tables in beats of four. "This is very good. The fact that you three showed up at this time is a very lucky moment" His smirk deepened. "I might not have too much time to talk you guys, but even if Reggie is going to be....taken down a notch. It doesn't change the fact that there is apparently a zombie horde coming in our direction, and a couple of other big things. We must not forget about that afterwards." Matt looked at all three before slightly shaking

"Anything else?"

Aiden-Camp-Everyone

Aiden gave everyone the portions from the meal, before giving himself the last bit. The smell was delicious, at least he could rely on his cooking. Before shit hit the fan, He was on the rise in the cooking world. He was getting news articles and everything. Aiden closed his eyes slowly as he took a bite. He kept telling himself not to think too far in the past. He was going on the whim that everyone liked it. No one really cared if they liked the food nowadays. You just ate it and hope you didn't die, but he hoped they did anyway.

Aaliyah - Camp.

To say Aaliyah was relieved to see Heather come over to her would be an understatement, Sure she was in training when the world went to crap and she was always thankful for Hank and the others holding belief in her but the young teen had already made the odds mistake although not life threatening because of the fact she realized the mistake and acted upon it. But Heather on the other hand was more qualified and experienced in what to do and her intervention surely help speed things along to get the man into the tent, Aaliyah had to refrain from smirking at Heather comment on Hanks driving skills, But with the help of DeSean and working as a team the group got the stranger in the tent with no other injuries to add to the list.

Once the man was in the ten things went smoothly, Spending a lot of time together and knowing each other well allowed Heather and Aaliyah to work as a team efficiently despite the improvised patient bed, There check up brought revealed better result then one would probably fear, There were no bite marks which would be a relief to the group to know and the only major issue to sort out was the head injury which took them no time to fix up at the cost of medical supplies and that kind of stuff did not grow on trees.

Another thing that Aaliyah loved about Heather was how she always had the young teen involved in the decision making when it came their limited medical supplies. The woman asked for her opinion on using oxycodine on the stranger, She stood their in thought for a moment torn between the instinct to save supplies and the training telling her to use it on him. A moment later and she sighed, She felt that either decision she could easily regret but having a unknown stranger in camp with a hefty headache and in a foul mood was something she would like to avoid. Aaliyah picked up the small bottle labelled oxycodine at looked at the bottle for a moment before walking over to Heather and handing over to her. " I have no objection Heather, As much as I prefer to save it, It is the.. right thing to do." She finished off Letting Heather make the final call on weather to use it. After a short while Aaliyah could smell some food being cooked, Aiden was working his magic again. " Looks like Aiden has finished up cooking, you like me to bring you some in?" She knew that Heather often liked to keep her distance from Hank.

Imogen - Camp.

Imogen had pretty much stayed by the fire when the commotion was going of by the SUV, her instincts to protect her non blood related family had her keeping an eye on things should anything happen, Heather went over there and although Imogen could not make out what was being said she knew full well the woman would be copping a strop at Hank, Those two always seemed to be at odds but she never thought to ask and let them get on with it for as long as it did not effect the group as a whole. When DeSean went over to help the other move what appeared to be a male survivor she moved over by Jennifer.

It was great to see that at least a couple was within a the group, It reminded Imogen that not all is lost in what has pretty much been hell on earth and it often made her think of her Fiancée and if he was truly alive, It was probably a false hope that she was hanging on to and only time will tell if she'll learn to let go and move on. *Jen, don't worry everything will be alright" She softly said to Jennifer as she placed a hand on her shoulder, She was trying to be reassuring and at least make Jennifer feel safe while DeSean was momentarily gone. It was obvious that it was an uneasy feeling having an unknown element within the camp and Imogen certainly wont be sleeping tonight preferring to keep and eye on things until everyone came back and Aiden served up some food, One thing you could never deny was his ability to cook.

Myriah - Outpost - Council Members

When she had heard that someone had been sneaking around last night, Myriah was sure it was little more than a case of paranoia. Ever since the mutiny, leaving the cabins and tents at night had become taboo. People were just afraid of what others might think-- what others might do. Despite this, it was still never a rule and Myriah herself had no issue with people going out at night. She probably should have been the most wary, considering it was her life that had been in danger, but that didn't seem to matter to anyone.

She walked into the office expecting Samantha to explain that this was all a misunderstanding and that all she was doing last night was going out for a walk. Unfortunately for the girl, she was a nervous wreck. She couldn't look either Rhonda or Myriah in the eye and stumbled over her explanations. Even after they explained to Samantha that she hadn't actually been caught breaking any rules, she still acted as if there was something she was hiding. After a brief discussion with Rhonda and a few of the other council members, they decided there was nothing they could do beyond possibly keep an eye on Samantha. For all they knew she had been simply sneaking out to meet with a boy.

"Is everything all right in your cabin, Samantha?" Myriah asked when they were out of the office.

Samantha looked puzzled before shaking her head. "No, why would there be?"

Myriah let out a small sigh and adjusted her glasses. Her eyes studied Samantha, looking for some sort of sign. She found herself worrying about the girl now. "Do you maybe want to stay in my cabin for the night?"

Slowly, Samantha nodded. "Sure."

Myriah smiled and placed a hand on Samantha's back, ushering her forward. "Then how about you and I hang out for the day? I have to some errands." Although Samantha looked nervous about it, she went along with Myriah. Perhaps if the day went well, Myriah figured she could get to the bottom of all this.

Meghan/Hazel - The Pub - Cody

"A medic huh? Well thats gonna come in handy..." Meghan said, giving him a small smile. Hazel nodded, downing a spoonful of rice.

"We're more than happy to have you join our brigade of buttkicking teens." Hazel said. She felt good about Cody; he could really be a good help for them. They finished dinner in moderate silence. Meghan then announced that she was going to bed. She said goodbye and went back to her room.
Hazel waited until Meghan was gone, and took a breath. "I'd like to ask you for a favor, Cody..."

"Meghan is defenitely not going to be able to go on a run with me, but we're low on water and out of medecine for her and she's gonna be in a lot of pain without it. I don't want to go on my own, and now that you're here, I might be able to fulfill that want." She said, pushing her bowl away. "A-and you're a medic, so you know what things to get for Meghan. There's a pharmacy thats about two miles from here and I think we can get into the back room where they keep the heavy drugs."

She glanced at the guy for a second, hoping he wouldn't think she was too crazy.

Katie - Haywood - Lauren

Katie's smile, so sunny and excited, faded away.
Bull... gone...?
No... not Bull... he was too big, too strong... he was Bull...

"No," Katie said, shaking her head in denial. "No!" she screamed, stomping her foot in anger. "Bull didn't do anything bad! It's not fair! It's not fair!" she continued screaming and stomping her feet.

The rage of a small child was not a pretty sight.

"It's not fair!" she screamed again at the top of her lungs. Seeing a cup nearby Katie picked it up and threw it, breaking a window. She knew it was wrong to break things or to throw a tantrum, but she didn't care.
Had Emma known? Had she known about Bull being hurt? About them making him go away? Was Emma really her friend?

If only her daddy had been here none of this would have happened. Bull would still be here and everything would be fine.
Why did everything have to change? Why did everything have to be bad? Bad things were always happening. Why couldn't something good happen? Was she really such a bad, bad little girl that nothing good would ever happen to her again?

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Jessalyn - Haywood - Dreams
She couldn't see him.
Floyd? Floyd where are you?
Here.
Where? I can't see you?
Right here in front of you.
No you're not. I can't find you.
Just look. I'm right here.
I can't. I don't see you. Where are you?
You have to find me. I'm not going to make it easy on you.
Floyd!
It's getting late. You'd better find me soon.
Floyd wait! Wait!
"Wait!" Jess cried as she jerked awake. She remembered where she was and fell back onto the bed, running her hand threw her hair.
Floyd. His voice had been so clear, like he was right beside her. But no matter how hard she looked, she hadn't been able to see him.
It was like now. She felt like he was so close, like she should be able to reach out and touch him.
Her baby kicked. She smiled faintly. "Don't worry, we'll find him. I promise. He'll be here to see you born."
A few minutes later came the scream of a child. Moments after that came the sound of breaking glass.
Jess jumped up and hurried out, terrfied that there was an attack going on. The horrors of Tyler's underground being overrun with walkers was still fresh in her mind.
She followed the noise, looking for the child who sounded like she was either going to cry her eyes out or scream herself hoarse before too long.
Heather - Camp - Aaliyah
Heather nodded at Aaliyah's decision. This was why they had become medical workers, to help people in need. Heather couldn't stand to see anyone or anything suffering, be it human, animal or walker.
Drawing out the appropriate amount in a syringe, she carefully set the nearly empty bottle aside. Cleaning a spot on his arm as best as she could, Heather tied a thick rubber band tight around his arm to get the vein to pop up. The guy had good veins, one came up quickly and stood in stark relief to the rest of his skin.
After giving him the shot she set the syringe aside to be boiled, the only means of sterilizing they had, and untied the band. She wished they had some kind of cold pack, but they would have to make due.
When Aaliyah said something about food Heather nodded absently, keeping an eye on their patient. Once she had left Heather got a cloth and dipped it in some water. Going slowly and carefully, she began to clean the man up a little. She was able to study him a bit as well in the process.
He was about as big as Hank, especially in the arms. He had long dirty blond hair and a beard of the same color. On the whole he looked like a biker and a brawler. Not exactly the kind of guy they wanted around camp.
But then again there was something to be said for a guy that could take care of himself. She just hoped he had been alone and hadn't been traveling with mean friends who would murder them all for their supplies.
The obvious solution was to wait until he woke and question him. Of course he could always lie, but lies had a way of falling to the truth given enough time. They had to be wary but they couldn't be heartless. This man needed help and that was what they would provide. Kind actions tended to come back on you.
The same could be said for cruel actions.
Heather continued wiping off his face and neck, moving slowly and gently. It didn't bother her at all. She had given plenty of sponge baths to patients and this was no different.
With effort she managed to get the man's shirt off.
"This is as far as I am going buddy," she told him, even though she knew it was unlikely he would respond if he hadn't already. "You'll just have to wash the rest of you once you wake up."
She bathed his arms and chest and, being a woman, admired the way he was built. Just because she was turning into a cold bitch, thanks to Hank, it didn't mean she was dead. She wondered absently if he had a girlfriend. Or maybe he was gay. But he didn't look like he was.
Rob-Haywood-Katie, Lauren etc
Rob was mending to his own business when suddenly he heard someone scream. A child, Katie to be more specific. "The hell!" Rob ran towards where he heard the screams. When entered the room, he saw Katie screaming and throwing a tantrum. He looked up and saw Lauren, it only took him a second to guess what she said. "Katie? What's wrong? Why are you screaming!" Rob said, having to raise his voice to get over her tantrum. "Stop it! Your making too much noise!"
Rob knew she would be angry if she found out. Goddammit Lauren! Do you not understand!
"Please stop..." Rob said once again as he looked at Lauren angrily.
Lauren - Haywood - Katie/Rob
"Katie...! Katie!" Lauren flinched when Katie grabbed the cup, fearing that maybe the girl would attack her with it. She was slightly relieved when the cup instead went flying through a window, but the sound was likely to make everyone in the house think they were under attack. Katie had quite the throw on her. "You have to be quiet!" Lauren exclaimed as she shifted off the couch and moved to take Katie's hands again. "The walkers are outside." She tried to pull Katie closer so that she could embrace her. "I'm so sorry. I'm angry too, I'm so angry I can't even think, but we can't--we can't-"
She stopped when someone entered the room. Rob, she believed his name was. He was glaring at her while trying to calm Katie down himself. Lauren didn't know what he was thinking about her, but she would die before she let Katie near him. She gently pulled Katie closer to herself. "We have to be strong, Katie," she whispered. "Your daddy would want you to be strong."
