Treaty banning the use of weapons of Mass Destruction

After a day of due deliberation, parliament agree's that weapons of mass destruction should be forbidden. Both Winston Churchill and King George VI sign the treaty agreeing not to use nuclear weapons, although the UE government has stated it will maintain a supply WMD's as a deterrent to foreign usage of such weapons

Soviet Union

The UE has accepted the non-aggression pact but has rejected the idea of a world alliance, stating that the UN, established in 1945, already fills that roll well enough

UN Resolution

The UE put forwards a resolution which requires approval by the UNSC (FEP, UE, UEAS, China and the Soviet Union make up the UNSC permanent council members, so I could the aforehere mentioned please vote in their next post? Thank you) imposing economic sanctions upon the Chinese and dispatching aid workers to help search for survivors from the Espacio De Vida's ships that were sunk by the Chinese and return them home. The UN would also condemn the Chinese for sinking civilian ships, but will not state explicit support for the NUJ given their leaders status as a war criminal

UE stance on the war

The Imperial Parliament and Imperial Prime Minister have called for peace talks between the warring nations, stating that WW3 is "Not in the interests of any peoples on the globe"

UEAS

The UE has requested that the UEAS are careful on where they fire their Thor one probe in the Antarctic, asking that they attempt to land it in a specific zone of one of the UE Antarctic Territories (Formally the claims of New Zealand, Australia and the UK, now all considered UE claims, and together dominate a huge chunk of the Antarctic. After Brazil invaded Argentina, the UE added the Argentinian Antarctic territory to their own, officially "Safe guarding it until such a time their country freed". After UEAS took over Germany, the (at the time British) claimed the German Antarctic territory under the same conditions. They proceeded to claim the unclaimed Land. This gave the UE almost complete dominance of the Antarctic, with only Norway and the FEP holding any other claims, holding the small Peter I island and the thin strip called Adelie Land respectively. As a result, the UE have sent a map of Antarctic with many proposed landing sites, asking that the UEAS attempts lands their rocket in one of these locations to avoid possible injury to the UE researchers in Antarctica, but are also close enough to research bases that the UE can recover it and ship it back to the UEAS. The UE imperial parliament consider it a chance to make minor improvements to relations and aren't about to pass up the opportunity.

To Espacio

The UE parliament demands that you released Belize, a territory you have unlawfully taken. Belize rightfully belongs free of your rule and the UE is willing to fight for its brothers: Release Belize back to the UE immediately so that proper diplomatic relations may resume between our two nations.

To the NUJ

Make no mistake Dr Mengele, the UE do not support the war crimes you and your fellow Nazi's commited. Our actions in the UN are not approval of your regime but concern for the Japanese people in the case of war.

The UE have wrote a letter of concern to the FEP regarding the rise of an aggressive imperialist faction in south America that might threaten both UE and FEP land in the region

Now that the rocket propulsion laboratory has been completed, construction has began on an Engine Laboratory

The "Imperial One" probe has been launched. Made of a liquid fuel engine (and obviously liquid fuel tank), its is carrying a thermometer, barometer, radiometer, spectrophotometer and a camera in addition to a parachute to help it land safely. It is to take readings of the conditions in space. Meanwhile, Timish is following the latest news from NASA intently, listening for anything of use. His son has started a charity and is touring the Empire looking for donations to help make up for some of the funding that they were not receiving from the government.

Lopez's Office
The finalized draft for Operation Broken Back sat in front of Lopez. If he signed off on it, he could have the troops on their way by the next day, ready to reap havoc on the Chinese country side. "This plan may very well win me this war..." He rubbed his eyes and sighed. Picking up his pen, he prepared to write his signature, when suddenly he had a knock on his door. Putting the papers away in his desk, he called the person into his office. His secretary poked her head in the door. "Sir, I just thought you should now that UE ships are searching Japanese waters for any signs of survivors from Chinese torpedo attacks." He nodded and waved her away. Once she had closed the door, he took the papers out of his desk draw and ripped them up, muttering "I will never kill civilians" to himself.

First Man in Space
Lance Corp has announced there intentions to be the first program to launch a man into space, this person who has been chosen is named David Wilson. A Vehicle Assembly Building has been constructed and Lance Corps first multi-stage rocket is under way. They have also stated they are offering a handsome reward to anybody who can come up with a cheap and effective way to power stuff long term in space.

Death in the Famiy
Josef has been murdered by a Chinese extremist. His son Josef JR has taken control and he has stated that the Fascism is over. The Republic of Japan is now who they are, and it will stay that way for ever. The NUJSA has been replaced with the RJSA, and now the NUJ is no more. Even with this, Josef Jr has stated that the war in China will continue but they ask that the UEAS stays out of the war, as the demands they have put up in the air where accepted.

Peace negotiations in the east

The UE has invited all parties involved in the conflict to the UE territory of Burma, as it is neutral ground for the involved parties. The aim is to solve the conflict in the east before it gets out of hand.

UESP

With the Engine Laboratory constructed, the UESP has began construction on a Vehicle Assembly Building. The Imperial Two has not yet been launched and is supposedly still under construction. There are rumours that it exploded on the launch pad, though Timish has come forward to clear the rumours by announcing that Imperial Two is to be a multi staged rocket instead of a single staged rocket. He has also announced that it will not be launched "For at least the next two years, possibly longer depending on several circumstances..."

Josef has been murdered by a Chinese extremist. His son Josef the 2nd has taken control and he has stated that the Nazi Regime is no more. With revolutions starting in Nagasaki, Josef the 2nd has stated that this is the best thing for the country, a war with the UEAS would end with a nuke, and the annexing of the RJ. The RJSA has stated that now that the Nazi Regime is over, we can start working faster, less rules, more freedom. Infact they have just made the Relayed Processor, Oxygen Tank, Carbon Dioxide Vent, and the Waste Bag. This means that once they manage to build every piece, that the space mission should be easier then eating pie. "Even though the fascism is over in this empire, I am fine, I swore to Josef the 1st I would follow his son, and that is what I will do" Zwitter stated to Kurd.

First news of the USSGRC
"This communist thing is fun, I can go to war with whoever I want, but tell the UEAS if they even step foot on Asia, they will die, and tell the FEP and the UE that the peace talk is stupid" Chiang said to his adviser.

The Powers United
"We are the single greatest country on earth, we are the United States of the Sovocracy of the Great Russo-Chinese, no one is better then us, tell Brazil, Espacio and the RJ that they will all die, violently, and send all the troops to Tokyo, we will destroy there capital" said Stalin to his adviser.

I Promise You All
"I promise you all, I will keep the Japanease a Republic, I will never let the Nazis take over again but even with this, people still rebel, Nagasaki and Hiroshima say they want the Nazi government back, well here is what I say to them, I will have my advisers vote, but why not have states, it works for the UEAS, maybe it will work for us. Republic of Japan Relations
The UEAS has kept its fleet in Japanese waters, but has said it will not attack Japan and defend it against invasion. Diplomats have been sent over to assist in the creation of a constitution, and already the following components have been suggested:

-Racial/Gender Equality: All races and genders would be considered equal, and equal pay laws would be enforced.
-Elections: Election would take place every three or four years, and a new leader would be chosen by popular vote exclusively.
-National Council: A group of elected officials would convene on a daily basis to discuss new laws and actions, to be acted upon according to majority vote.
-People's Sovereignty: If the majority of the people believe that the leader's actions are unjust, then that leader must no longer be considered legitimate and an election would take place.
-Worker's Rights: Unions may not be interrupted, higher minimum wages, insurance of work safety.

Japanese Military Operations
The UEAS has landed the troops sent with the Pacific Command Fleet, formerly intended for a Japanese invasion, to put down the rebellions in Hiroshima and Nagasaki. It is hoped that they can quickly quell the rebellions and insert a democracy similar to that of the UEAS.

King George's Death
The UEAS has officially begun mourning the death of King George VI, and each member of the National Council as well as Fergus McClain have sent letters praising his valiant efforts during the war, and saying what a tragedy it is that the world had to lose such a great man. They have also given flowers in the name of all the citizens of the UEAS, fifty of each state flower. Fergus McClain and the National council have wished the new Queen good luck, and stated their high hopes for her.

Burma Peace Talks
The UEAS has sent a diplomat to Burma aboard the USS Utopia, a diplomatic vessel. He and the ship are now waiting for the other diplomats to arrive. However, with the news of the threats made by the new United States of the Sovocracy of the Great Russo-Chinese, many have told him to leave, as peace appears to b a lost hope. Despite this, he continues to stay at Burma, desperately hoping that they will end the insanity before nuclear weapons are dropped.

Japanese waters, UEAS Pacific Command Fleet
The fleet had taken up defensive positions, with submarines scouring the waters in search of enemy vessels and the other ships sticking close to Japan, main guns and AA defenses manned and ready to open fire. Komet aircraft patrolled the sky faster than any other aircraft could hope to fly at, scanning the skies for enemy aircraft. Jet fighters stood ready to launch at a moment's notice, fully supplied with ammo and missiles. Pilots sat twitching in their cockpits, itching for some action or the shift change. Then the call came.

"USS Intrepid, to our aft!"

The crew rushed to look at the approaching resupply vessel, two destroyers escorted it, bristling with large cannons and AA guns. The resupply ship herself was not holding normal supplies, though. It carried twelve nuclear bombs, just in case the enemy decided to come for Japan. Any attack would be met with bombings of naval shipyards, military bases, and even moving armies.

NASA
Despite extreme concerns from scientists, NASA has decided to push on with a manned launch, determined to be the first to put a man into space. Seeing the large craft the Lance Corporation was launching, NASA has decided to go with a single stage design to save production time and launch first. They have constructed a Vehicle Assembly Building, as well as two heavy SRBs, a reaction control system, a set of winglets, a heavy liquid fuel tank, a dual-nozzle liquid fuel engine, and a 1 man space capsule.

Since it is such a risky mission, NASA has found only one volunteer who they consider good enough for it: Colonel Emily Natālija. Having served in both WWII campaigns, she was a fighter ace with just over three hundred confirmed victories. Since the capsule's controls were designed around those of UEAS fighter craft, she has been put right into the newly christened "Planetes Program", the manned spaceflight division of NASA. In the short time it takes to assemble the spacecraft.

UE Emergency action!

Following the invasion of the United Empire by the Chinese, the UE has mobilised its military. The forces in Burma, assisted by the Burmese Crown Police, have surrounded the Peace building and are preparing to take it back by storm. The Royal navy has landed reinforcements in Hong Kong in order to keep the territory in UE control. All borders with the Chinese and USSGRC have been reinforced, and the Royal Navy is blockading China while the RAF prepares to bomb China's cities. A royal Navy fleet has been launched to assist the UEAS at Hawaii, one group leaving from Wester Canada and into the pacific, another launching from North East Australia. Royal Navy vessels patrol the North Sea to watch for possible USSGRC forces and keeping their eye on the radar for submarines.
Twelve hours after the Chinese seize the Burma Peace Building, An SAS unit is deployed and sweeps out the Chinese forces. The SAS confirms that the Chinese left no survivors

"By attacking a building of the UE on UE land and slaughtering the diplomats of multiple nations, you have declared war on the United Empire."

The Alliance with the Brazilians has been accepted out of necessity.

To the USSGRC

There is no reason for the USSGRC to send its people to die for the ambitions of a power mad Chinese opium abuser. I have seen how much Russia suffered in the last world war, it does not need that again...

UE politics

The UE has officially recognized the Republic of Japan and condemned the Chinese for what they have termed "Brutal conduct unbecoming of human beings". It has refused to recognise the union between the USSGRC and China, stating "We find it simply incomprehensible that the good people of the USSGRC would enter a union with a country run by a man who advocates the murder of diplomats and is starting a war for the sake of war"

China
The absolutely insane President/Dictator/Prime Minister/Drug Addicted Guy With A Suit sat in his office, hands shaking uncontrollably. He was yelling incoherently about destroying everyone who wasn't China, screaming about being the greatest country on Earth. He smashed his hands down on his desk, cracking the wood slightly. "READY THE NUCLEAR WEAPONS! WE SHALL NUKE THE WORLD! BECOME THE KING OF THE ASHES!" During his rambling, a bullet struck him in the back of the head, causing him to collapse onto the desk, blood spilling onto his papers. It was the end of one of history's greatest mad men.

Liberation!
Espacio De Vida announced that a special operations task force, dispatched at the outbreak of the war, had been able to successful assassinated the mad man who had been ruling China. In addition, the De Vidian troops that had been sent off earlier that year had established a landing zone on undefended Chinese beaches, due to China sending most of it's military on offensive campaigns around the world.
