It was three millennia ago - Yamamoto Genryūsai Shigekuni was to be placed at the head of the First Squad, to become the Captain Commander of the thirteen court guard squads and, consequently, one of the strongest figures in the Seireitei. The appointment was to the surprise of no one and it was predicted by many that he would become one of the most powerful men to ever sit atop the Seireitei. Become.
He was not yet the most powerful, because there was another. Gorou Nobunaga.
The man was infamous and his power had become a legend - he was respected, powerful and intelligent, yet he was not approached for the position of the Captain Commander for he was deemed an "unstable entity". The member of the Central 46 did not trust him, but the reason they did not act was due to his volatile nature, and a man with that much power and such short a fuse would not take kindly to the sanctions central 46 would have placed upon him. They feared him.
However, their worries were about to be put to rest. The ceremony was complete and the newly christened Captain Commander Yamamoto was to give his first edict as the head of the Gotei squads. To strip the rank and status of the Shinigami Gorou Nobunaga and to imprison him.
Stares of disbelief, surprise and concern were seen on almost every face in the crowd, but one face remained calm. That of Nobunaga himself; he took his sheathe and stepped towards the Captain Commander as the surrounding Captains prepared to draw in anticipation of the fight that would ensue. But, Nobunaga did not draw his Zanpakuto - instead, he fell to one knee and offered his sheathed companion to Yamamoto. "So be it," his words echoed as he was escorted from the Sōkyoku Hill.
The news spread like wildfire and whilst the majority was in favor of man's imprisonment, a particular minority was not. Every single member of Nobunaga's squad made up that minority. And they would not give up on their Captain just like that. After fighting tooth and nail with the Central 46, they were ultimatively brought to their knees. They alone could not do a thing, not against the entire Soul Society. In the end, they could not save their beloved Captain. Soon after the tragic events, several members of Nobunaga's former squad disappeared from the Seireitei and after multiple searches were rendered unsuccessful, it became assumed they were not even in Soul Society.
Jakakumei (邪革命 – wordplay meaning ‘revolution of vengeful ghosts’) are a group of rogue Shinigami who are often referred to as “The Jacks” by locals. They are recognized for their stealthy demeanor and wearing masks. Although their members are not regulated strictly in regards to uniform, they are all bond by tradition to wear a blue robe and carry a personal mask.
The Jakakumei were formed after the imprisonment of Gorou Nobunaga, a former captain of the Gotei 13. A former legend. Since his squad's failed attempts to put up a resistance to the act, the members had to flee from Seireitei. These Shinigami and their descendants are the members of Jakakumei, and since then kept a low profile and called Rukon-district their home.

Since Captain Commander Yamamoto is no longer a part of the Gotei 13, the legend died with him. Or so it seems. The memories still live in the ranks of Jakakumei and the shadows of the past have just begun shuffling again.
Not yet realizing the danger that is slowly, but surely approaching - the Soul Society is going to need all the help they can get. So, what are you waiting for? Pick up your Zanpakuto and steel yourself for a blast of the past.
Ladies and gentleman - you know the drill!
1. The golden rule is no God modding/Trolling/Auto Hitting and all other fun-decreasing things. Or to put it simply - common sense. More importantly, no racism or sexism - if you have a problem with someone because of either of these two -isms, then don't say anything. And if there is some general disagreement with someone on a more personal basis, take it to the PM if it's really that bad and sort it out, hopefully in a civil manner. Don't spread hate. If your character is a douche, on the other hand, that's a different story.
2. No one liners - especially since this is in advanced sections. It doesn't really fit into the category of high advance, so your posts don't have to be a page long all the time.
3. Since this is an advanced section, no OOC in the IC. That's why we have an OOC thread (or a sub-thread, in this website layout).
4. In a nutshell, there is no character limit, after a while you'll be free to make more characters. The starting limit is two characters. But, in order to make more, you have to be a constant member of the RP. A rough example, if a week passed after you joined the RP and you are posting regularly, then just ask away and you'll probably get a permission to make more characters. On the other hand, if you post once every two weeks and there is a high probability that you'll just disappear, then you won't get a permission, since it's a hustle for a RP to kill off three or more your characters.
5. Your characters are Shinigami. Not Vizards, not Quincies, nor Fullbringers or any other races that exist in a Bleach universe - that's basically one of the rare limitations you have when making a character.
6. I won't list out all other general rules here - you know the site's rules and other than that, just be cool and friendly and everything is going to be fine.
7. Don't be an Ichigo.
This is going to be a short section considering battling and general rank information; should anything change, this is the place where it'll be put.
Battling system in this RP is a freelancing, creativity boosting battle system (battle royal style). Meaning, there is no post limit and there is no GM regulation in the middle of the battle (dice rolling, omnipresent narrator, etc.) - a free, but fair battle is what we're looking forward to. After all, that's what Bleach is all about, crazy, creative battles, but still fair (unless it's Ichigo fighting - don't be an Ichigo)
And this is how ranks will work, for the moment - when you make your characters, their highest position can be a Lieutenant, not Captain. Me and co-gm's will fill a few Captain spots in the beginning, but don't get discouraged - Lieutenants and other seated characters are more than encouraged to work towards becoming a Captain and that promotion will surely happen to some characters via their action throughout the IC and a player's contribution to the RP in general.

Seireitei
Take note that the innermost circle in the middle is what holds the Senzaikyuu, Central 46, Soukyouku Hill and Stadium. This circle is surrounded by the three Kidoushuu Towers.
The outermost circle is the central court, where the 13 Divisions and the Academy reside.
Senkaimon Gates ( the gates that let you go to Earth ) are located in the 1st division taisho along with all EVEN numbered divisions.
The roads are winding and its easy to get lost if you don't know where you're going. Also, its a tiring journey from one side of Seireitei to the other if you aren't a higher level shinigami so keep that in mind while collabing with others from different divisions.
The surrounding area is what is deemed to be the residencial area of the Soul Society. The Rukon Districts. This place is bustling with commerce and trade.
Rukongai
Rukongai is divided into 320 districts (80 in North Rukongai, 80 in West Rukongai, etc.), districts spread out from Seireitei in concentric rings, with 1 being the closest and 80 being the furthest; this results in the higher-numbered (and farther) districts decaying into slums. Thus, while District 1 is peaceful and lawful, District 80 is a hardscrabble, violent, crime-infested area.
North Rukongai - North Alley of Loitering Spirits - Mountainous terrain borders its extents. 3rd most populated area.
South Rukongai - South Alley of Flowing Spirits - Barren, desert/wasteland-like terrain borders its extents. Lowest population (duh).
East Rukongai - Woodland terrain borders its extents. 2nd highest population.
West Rukongai - Luscious hill-like terrain borders its extents. Most populated.
Known Named Districts
1 - Junrinan
3 - Hokutan (Western Hokutan hosts Mt. Koifushi)
78 - Inuzuri
79 - Kusajishi
80 - Zaraki
Along the outskirts and boundaries between each section, the topography becomes meshed together - For example, the Northeast is slightly mountainous and forested, etc. Also, these areas aren't ALL one set of topography, it's just primarily like that. So you will find random woods in the South, it's just rare.

There are five Talents: Reiryoku, Zanjutsu, Hakuda, Kido and Hoho (they are bolded in the outlay)
There are eleven Skills (they are in italic in the outlay)
Your characters get a number of talent points to distribute solely among the five talents
The number of talent points depends on your character's rank:
Captain Commander gets 17 talent points
Senior Captain gets 15 talent points
Average Captain gets 13 talent points
Lieutenant gets 11 talent points
3rd Seat gets 9 talent points
Unseated gets 3 talent points
After distributing the talent points, you get to calculate your skill points - which is done through a few simple equations (refer to Equation hider)
Now, you have your skill points, which you can allocate to any skill points regardless of their position in the outlay.
A Talent with 3 Skills (Zanjutsu and Hakuda): 2 * Talent Points = Skill Points
A Talent with 2 Skills (Reiryoku and Kido): Talent Points + (Talent Points / 2) = Skill Points
A Talent with 1 Skill (Hoho): Talent Points = Skill Points
- Do this for each Talent and then just add the Skill Points together and you calculated your overall Skill Point number to distribute amongst those eleven Skills
Additional information:
A Talent of 0 equates to a single Skill.
Any 0 among Skills adds a bonus Skill Point to distribute.
Do remember that the status system is just a way of having the Shinigami Skills be sleek and nice to read. Their impact on the RP itself is a zero, as I trust you to write good combat without the need of a limited, numbered system.
Also, if you're having any problems with the system, don't hesitate to ask and we won't mind if you post your character without these skills. It's not a problem, but if you do want your CS to look even nicer, feel free to implement the system and ask for help should it be necessary.
Kisses and hugs,
Mr. GM
