Ok, I'll probably not post until Monday 'cause we are packing today and tomorrow. So my time is going to be pretty limited until late at night or early mornings.

Name:
Ruby

Appearance:

Age:
26

Status and Job:
Waitress at Granny’s Diner

Skills:
Ruby is pretty damn good at playing the social game; especially when it comes to men. By using her sexuality, Ruby can practically make any man do anything she wants within reason, however this usually only includes things such as getting a guy to buy her a drink or give her a ride home or even sometimes getting two guys to fight over which one can take her home for the night.

Talents:
Being a waitress for as long as she can remember, Ruby has immaculate balancing skills when it comes to larger dinner orders, and can walk with ease in six-inch heels. She also has a sense of fashion that really shows off the assets of her body while also reflecting her personality.

Strengths:
Ruby is a head-strong individual that isn’t afraid to speak her mind. When it comes right down to it, she will fight tooth-and-nail for what she believes in and oftentimes sways other people to agreeing with her way of thinking.

She also has a rocking body that she isn’t afraid to show off in the least and has a very good fashion sense when it comes to clothes and makeup that help bring out the greatest features in her body.

She can hold her liquor exceptionally well for a girl as thin as her, and has proven on a couple of occasions to be able to drive home drunk without screwing anything up.

She is also a loyal friend to those close to her, and will do anything to help them if it is in their best interest, however she’s unafraid to tell her friends that they are complete morons if what they want isn’t in their best interest.

Weaknesses:
Ruby can be very opinionated, which can get her into a lot of trouble since she sees things a bit differently than what would be considered the ‘norm.’

She also likes to dress up in items of clothing that hardly cover anything about her, thus giving her the reputation of an easy girl looking for a good time. Ruby personally has no problem about this, but the other people in town who aren’t men ogling after her have a big problem with having a harlot running around town.

Ruby also hates responsibility. She wants to party all the time and when her Granny asks her to open up the diner in the mornings, the whole town can hear their fighting. She fights a lot with Granny, and thus does not have a good relationship with her even though all Granny wants to do is to teach her responsibility, but Ruby just isn’t interested.

Relationships:
Ruby seems to know most all of the men in Storybrooke, and seems to have had some sort of relationship with all of the ones within her age range.
Her Granny owns the town’s most common eatery, Granny’s Diner as well as Granny’s Bed and Breakfast where they use a separate part of the building as their own home.

Brief Bio:
Ruby works for her Granny in both the Bed and Breakfast and the Diner. Ruby usually takes the late afternoon or night shifts since she likes to stay out late and sleep in all morning if she’s even there at all, since most of the time she gets out of work to go and enjoy the company of a man.

She has no interest in any sort of ‘serious’ relationship, she’s having way too much fun partying the nights away and staying single, allowing herself to have more fun as well as keep a sense of freedom about her. Not being tied down to anyone is the best feeling to Ruby, and she doesn’t see herself wanting to settle down for a long, long time.

Name: Henry Carlyle, Cheshire Cat Appearance:
--
Wardrobe Style: Trying to adjust to a more casual, yet, still refined taste; Henry's wardrobe typically consists of a black 3-button coat over a quarter-zip sweater with a Henley, button-up, or turtleneck shirt underneath, along with trousers or jeans and leather shoes. Henry will also wear black leather gloves on occasion during colder temperatures, as well as a gents rotary strap watch on his left wrist. Example Outfits:
Age: 33 Status and Job: English teacher at Storybrooke Elementary Skills: Henry is what many could describe as a charmer, though not in a hostile manner. He is charismatic and cheery, able to easily sway others to his point of view with his eloquence. He is also a careful observer of people, able to read others by studying their expressions/body language. He is also (to an almost dark degree) a very good liar, showing little change in body language when lying to others. Henry is naturally dexterous and nimble-fingered; his years as a magician and performer giving him quick reflexes and good coordination; as well as making him more observant to detail. Though holding a severe hatred of combat, Henry is not above utilizing (to great effect) dirty tactics when caught in a fight. Talents: Henry is an expert pianist, practicing for at least an hour a day, learning to play various compositions. He is a capable teacher, his cheerful personality making him easily-approachable by his students, to whom he shows great care for. Henry is an avid reader of books, learning much in the way of history and philosophy based on what he has read. He is also inherently good at singing, though he keeps this talent to himself. He is also highly dexterous, able to perform sleight-of-hand tricks, card tricks, and even a bit of pickpocketing with relative ease. Strengths: Expert conversationalist and negotiator, adept showman and magician, impeccably good liar, capable teacher, high intellect and wit, good at deducing body language/expressions in people. Weaknesses: Though appearing to be friendly and cheery, Henry seems to hide something dark behind this exterior, as any mention of his familial or personal life causes him to clam up and try to switch subjects quickly. He is also described as being a "coward" and will flee from any situation he deems as dangerous, and avoids fighting unless absolutely necessary. Henry was once addicted to nicotine and is currently trying to stop. As a result he is almost constantly seen chewing gum to help curb the withdrawal. He also has a healthy taste for alcohol and can be seen drinking in excess if emotionally rattled enough. Relationships: -Strongly dislikes Mr. Gold for personal reasons, who shares this animosity in kind. However, the both of them are seen commonly speaking or assisting each other, though this is more likely out of common need than benevolence. -Has a...complicated relationship with Mayor Mills. Appearing to know a few of her "secrets", both of them despise each other. However, Henry is not above witty banter or sensual remarks at her expense. -Is romantically attracted to Dr. Faye Stevenson, though his past and temperament makes him somewhat noncommittal. -Has a physical relationship with Ms. Hyde, composed of passion and lust as opposed to actual feelings of attraction. -Shares a student/teacher relationship with Mark Dufresne, the former earning Mark's respect after saving the nunnery from Mr. Gold. -Has a friendly relationship with Ruby and is able to converse with her easily, but masks a physical attraction towards her. -Shares a mutual disdain with Knox Kowalski, disliking the security guard for his brooding and stubborn demeanor. -Distrusts Robert Leland, the town sheriff and Regina's hound; keeping a careful eye on him. Brief Bio: Transformed into a grinning cat by Rumpelstiltskin's dark magic, a strange turn of events has allowed the illusionist operating under the name Alexandre to find himself in the Land Without Magic, free from the effects of the Evil Queen's Curse, retaining the memories of his other life. The Cat, now calling himself Henry Carlyle was transported to New York, where he remained for about five years operating under numerous jobs, most notably as a street magician. With enough expenses to purchase a car and a few credentials to his aide, Henry traveled to Storybrooke with one purpose: To break the Curse. Music Gallery: Henry's Theme Other: Henry is an avid fan of Oldies music and can either be found listening to this music, or singing quietly to himself on a regular basis.

Hello my fine fellows! I saw your recruiting thread and was wondering if you still need new faces. Though I've never seen the show, this rp might get me interested in doing so!

Wow! My recruitment thread actually worked! Lol yes yes yes Grim! We could definitely use you! And as I said, you don't really need to know much about the show, the things that are key-important I explain here (unless you wanna watch the show...it's fanTAStic!)

Did you have any ideas on who/what you wanna do?

I meant to ask you...did you want grendel to have any kind of past relationships with our characters from the enchanted forest? maybe a deal with rumpel? or a prisoner of the queen? whatever you can think of really, we are a very open group willing to work around stuff to make things work.

Here you go! I'm not entirely sure if it fits up to your standards. If you see anything wrong with it, I will make the changes as soon as possible!

If we can I'm just going to leave him as a vague beast from legends past. If or when we start to role play back in the enchanted forest then I will introduce Grendel to the story. At the most I would say either a prisoner or a "monster" from the woods that the kingdom is having trouble killing. Also made Grendel's size less vague.

Grim, what we need for the rp is actually TWO character sheets; one for Jack Frost, and the second for his Storybrooke counterpart. The Curse that set everything in motion sent all the fairy tale characters to the real world (or the Land Without Magic) without any of their memories, magic powers, and a false persona. You can take a look at the 'Main Characters' section from the Original Post to see what exactly I'm talking about :) There can be similarities between the two sheets, for example, Rumpelstiltskin/Mr. Gold, or can be completely different! i.e. Red Riding Hood/Ruby. If you could make those changes, we should be good to go!

Whats up with the "Deceased Characters"? Did people bow out?

The people who were cut due to inactivity were put in the 'NPC' folder, along with other characters who were used but not necessarily PLAYED. 'Deceased Characters' is for NPCs who were killed before the rp started, or main characters who died due to story - usually *after* bowing out, but not always.

Ghost is right. technically we are all playing two different characters (except me, im playing six)

We started this rp in the enchanted forest. this is where magic and mystical beasts existted in a medieval type setting. Regina (the evil queen from snow white) was very unhappy and cast a curse on everyone in the enchanted forest. our characters were stripped from the enchanted forest and placed in Storybrooke...a small city in a land with no magic.

Memories of their lives in the enchanted forest no longer exist, replaced with fake memories making everyone there believe that they have lived in story brooke their whole life. there are a few exceptions...

Regina has all her memories of the enchanted forest since she is the one that cast the curse and is doing everything she can to keep it from being broken. and then there is Henry (a.k.a the cheshire cat) that also has his memories, buts thats because he was sent to a place where the curse would not effect him.

As for the deceased characters, Belle and Mushu were the only ones that died in game. the others deaths have only been referenced in game.

I'm interested in this RP. I wanted to make a character, but I wanted it to be someone out of the typical fairy tale characters. Maybe a more obscure European hero, like Roland or Sadko, or even an American character, like Hiawatha or Rip van Winkle. The only problem is that these might have little connection to the other characters unless I really stretch the story. Would this be ok?

If you can find a way to keep connected and involved with our characters than I don't see why not. Major Ursa is playing a very obscure character (Night) and it has worked out well so far. I can help you if you would like if you are having problems trying to find connections. See what you can do with your character first, post the Enchanted Forest CS first and I'll look it over, and then help you if need be :)

@YoshiSkittles

I think as far as relationships go, Grendel is just going to be known to Regina as a "Monster that has been praying on the cattle". If anyone else wants to jump on that bandwagon then yeah.
