Prologue
Day 1 Character Summary | Day 2 Character Summary
King Midas and Princess Abigail
- Of Phrygia -
A kingdom known for it's bountiful gold and riches, given easily by the curse of King Midas' hand who, when he touches anything, turns to gold. There is bad blood between Midas and Prince James since Prince James did not take Midas' daughter as his wife.
Queen Elsa and Princess Anna
- Of Arendelle -
Once a land cursed with a forever winter, now a lush, green land with an open-door policy to those living in the nearby villages. Queen Elsa is a very fair ruler and is working on opening her heart to others around her to become an even better leader.
Prince Eric and Princess Ariel
- A combined ruling between Atlantica and Capbreton -
A Kingdom ruling off of the sea that, by association, Ariel rules over given her mermaid heritage. The two Kingdoms prosper well together and have no quarrel with any of the other Kingdoms.
Prince Thomas and Princess Cinderella
- Of Charente Maritime -
Given the closeness between this Kingdom and Capbreton and Atlantica, the three Kingdoms have an unspoken alliance with one another and are able to trade goods with one another very quickly and easily without much bandits on the road to worry about.
King Phillip and Queen Aurora
- Of The Moors -
Rid of the threat of Maleficent, Queen Aurora makes it her ultimate goal to have magical creatures and humans live together in peace and harmony. For the most part, this works and King Phillip has proven to be a righteous King.
Prince Aladdin and Princess Jasmine
- Of Agribah -
A culturally diverse Kingdom tucked away behind the mountains and the forests in a desolate land covered in sand as far as the eye can see. Trade with Agribah is very precious but almost near impossible because of the long trek and bandits are plentiful on the outskirts of the deserts.
King George
- Of Offal Court -
King George aspired to have his adopted son, James marry with King Midas' daughter Abigail in order to unite the Kingdoms so Offal Court would no longer struggle through poverty. However, Prince James died and King George was forced to take on James' twin brother, David, who had to pretend that he was Prince James in order for the wedding to take place. However, Prince David (James) met Snow White and instead fell for her, putting bad blood between the Kingdoms of The Offal Court and Phyrgia. King George will stop at nothing to gain riches for his poor Kingdom and thus has become a corrupt King.
Although he isn't from royalty, everyone within The Enchanted Forest (as well as other realms) knows this man. Undoubtedly the most powerful being in all the realms, Rumpelstiltskin possesses enough magic to do just about anything, his only limits ever being able to cross to realms without magic and bringing back the dead.
He is notorious for making deals with people who come to him for help, always asking for a high price in return when most of the time, what he asks for in return means nothing to him, but the world to those he takes it from. He lives on other people's suffering, which makes him an incredibly dangerous man to bargain with. But when you are at your last chance, what wouldn't you do to get what it is that you desire?
Evil Queen Regina
Regina grew up with a very cruel mother who made a point to not allow Regina to follow her heart and marry the stable boy, and instead (by means of careful planning and precision) landed Regina to be the new Queen of The Enchanted Forest by getting King Leopold to ask for her hand in marriage after Regina saved a very young Snow White from getting killed by a wild horse.
Regina tried to run away with Daniel, not wanting this life for herself but because of Snow, her secret was revealed to Cora (her mother) and Cora did away with Daniel permanently, forcing Regina to comply with her mother's wishes and became the new Queen.
Feeling utterly helpless and trapped, Regina called out to Rumpelstiltskin to help her with her mother, and became his apprentice. Rumpelstiltskin gradually shaped Regina into the cold, cruel woman The Enchanted Forest now knows her as; a powerful force to be reckoned with, driven by blood lust at getting her revenge on Snow White for ruining her life.
Snow White
Snow White has the purest heart of anyone in The Enchanted Forest and absolutely adored by everyone in the Kingdom; wanting only love and good things in her life, however when she stumbled upon a secret that her soon-to-be-mother did not love her father, and loved someone else, she spilled her worries to Regina's mother Cora, unknowing of the consequences until Snow was a grown woman.
After Regina had been her step-mother for a number of years, Snow's father suddenly died, and Regina cast Snow out into the woods, sending out a Huntsman to bring back her heart. The villagers kept Snow safe when she needed their help, not believing a word The Evil Queen said about her in order to get them to turn Snow over.
Snow spent the next year in hiding, wanting to just get away and leave Regina be until she met Charming. Prince James, as he was truly named, and the two fell madly in love, and by the power of love, they knew that they would be able to overtake Regina and get Snow's castle back.
The Blue Fairy
Also known as Reul Ghorm or simply just called Blue, The Blue Fairy is the supreme fairy of The Enchanted Forest and uses her magic to help those of the purest hearts to achieve what they desire, more often than not a wish that is wanted to help others and rarely themselves. It is said that all you need to do is find the second star to the right and call out to her, and if your heart is true, she will appear to help you.
A rather complicated story, but essentially, Rumpelstiltskin himself created the curse to achieve a simple goal: To find his daughter.
It all began over a thousand years ago when Rumpelstiltskin was an ordinary man, called to the front to fight in the Ogre Wars. It was there that he met with a seer, a magical being that told him of his future and informed Rumpelstiltskin that his wife, Milah, was pregnant with their daughter, however his actions on the battlefield the next day would leave the baby fatherless.
Terrified of never being able to see his daughter and wife again, Rumpelstiltskin purposefully injured his leg so that he could return home. News spread about Rumpelstiltskin's cowardice, and by the time he returned home, the news had already gotten to Milah who already had the baby. She never looked at Rumpelstiltskin the same way again, now ashamed of him and only putting up with him because she had no where else to go.
When Baelfire was four years old, Milah finally took her life into her own hands and took Baelfire and ran off with a group of pirates, making Rumpelstiltskin believe that they had been kidnapped rather than going willingly. Living the next four years of his life doing his best to find his wife and child, the only real glimmer of hope came when an old beggar told Rumpelstiltskin of the powers of The Dark One.
Taking matters into his own hands, Rumpelstiltskin killed The Dark One with a special dagger, and all the magic The Dark One had with him transferred to Rumpelstiltskin himself, making him the new Dark One. Now with magic on his side, he was able to track down the pirate that stole his wife and child, only to discover that Milah had lost Baelfire while she and Killian Jones explored other realms.
Infuriated, Rumpelstiltskin ripped the heart out of his cheating wife, and crushed it, swearing from that moment forward, he would do whatever it took to get to this land without magic (in where Baelfire was lost) and so, a string of events took place to ensure that this would happen.
He learned of a curse that would take him to the land without magic, and so, his deals began.
He found a woman by the name of Cora who had gotten herself into quite the predicament. She was just a miller's daughter, but she thirsted for nobility and in her foolishness, got caught at a royal party and in an effort to save her own skin, promised the king that she could spin straw into gold. This, of course, was not true, but Rumpelstiltskin promised to help Cora with this impossible feat so long as she gave him her first born child.
It was this child that Rumpelstiltskin knew to be the one that had to cast the curse, and so the deal had to be made. What he didn't count on, however, was falling in love with Cora, and asking that the child be his.
Cora, despite her reciprocated love for Rumpelstiltskin, wanted power more, and so to keep her feelings aside, she ripped out her own heart and kept it in a box where it would be safe. No longer bound by her love for her master, Cora dismissed Rumpelstiltskin, and opted to stay with a man she did not love (Prince Henry), but went on to have Rumpelstiltskin's baby, Regina.
Rumpelstiltskin kept a very close eye on Regina as she grew up, and was very disappointed to find out that she did not hold the same blood lust that her mother held, and so, he took matters into his own hands by implanting thoughts into Cora's head of wanting Regina to be Queen, to force Regina to do things she didn't want to do.
This of course caused Regina to be very angry, especially when Cora took it upon herself to kill the very man that Regina loved. Regina had no knowledge of Rumpelstiltskin up to this point, and one day, fed up with her mother and her binding magic, called out to him for help, and eagerly became his new apprentice, determined to free herself from her mother forever.
This was the very opportunity Rumpelstiltskin needed, and ever so gently began to shape Regina into the cold, ruthless woman he needed her to be in order to cast the curse. He himself had already written out the curse, all Regina had to do was to want it, and so, unknown to even Regina, Rumpelstiltskin caused the blood war between herself and Snow White, forcing Regina to go to Rumpelstiltskin for a way to get her revenge on Snow White and he gladly handed over the curse.
The curse that would condemn everyone to Storybrooke, Maine. A land with no magic, the very land that Baelfire was still lost in. All he needed to do now was to break the curse of Storybrooke which would free him to be able to finally start searching for his daughter.
There are, of course, other lands aside from The Enchanted Forest and our world. Notably two others in which our characters know of and might have even visited a time or two. These lands are not connected to The Enchanted Forest or our world, and the only way to leave one realm to visit another must be done by magic by means of a portal, a magic bean, The Mad Hatter's Hat, and even a terrible curse.
Wonderland - Home of The Red Queen, The White Rabbit, Cheshire Cat Alexandre, Alice, The Mad Hatter, The Caterpillar and so many, many others. This is a world in which common sense is thrown out the window and nonsense becomes the common knowledge. It takes a lot of patience for a newcomer to withstand the jibberish of the natives, and not very many people want to even go to Wonderland for this exact reason. Not to mention the Queen of Hearts has a thing with cutting off anyone's head that doesn't do as she wishes.
Neverland - Merely a rumor and less fact. It comes with the idea that whenever children go missing or run away, it is because a man named Peter Pan comes to collect them and takes them to Neverland where they never have to grow old and can be free to do as they please. Of course this sounds like a true paradise for children, more than likely every little boy has wondered what it would be like to be a lost boy, but one fact remains; those who go to Neverland, never come back.

Chapter 1 The Curse
Storybrooke Maine, an exceptionally small town with a population borderlining a thousand people at most. No one leaves, and no one comes to visit. That is, until Henry Carlyle showed up; a first in anyone's memory for having a guest to the town. The town is surrounded by a forest on one side and the ocean on the other. The springs are full on rain, the winters cold and frosty. Fall and Summer both keep to warmer temperatures but nothing above seventy degrees.
A small harbor that houses a handful of small boats for chartering and bringing in seafood for Storybrooke
Game of Thorns
A flower shop run by Mo French
Granny's Bed and Breakfast and Diner
Two businesses ran by the same woman and sharing the same building. The bed and breakfast has a hallway that leads directly to the diner, and the Diner is also easily accessible just off the street.

A practice run by Dr. Hopper.
Mr. Gold Pawnbroker & Antiquities Dealer
A small antiques store where Mr. Gold spends most of his time making deals and taking people's money.
Mayor's Office
Regina's office is located upstairs in an otherwise abandoned building, mostly used for town storage. However stepping into Regina's office you would never know the mess that remains downstairs.
The Forest
A mass forest surrounds Storybrooke, only ending where the ocean begins. The Storybrooke boundary lines exist deep within the forest. It's possible that there are many things that have yet to be discovered within the forest.
The Mines
Recently collapsed in a 'sudden' earthquake. Regina was just a bit TOO eager to have the area paved off immediately, causing speculation to those immediately around her.
The Rabbit Hole
One of the more 'rough' bars in town, usually open only at night for the 'younger' crowd.
The Sheriff's Office
Sheriff Leland is the primary Law Enforcement in the town, the building has only two cells inside of it what are branched by the main waiting room with Robert's office just off to the side with glass walls.
Storybrooke Fire Station
The only fire station in town. It holds only two firetrucks and a single ambulance.
Storybrooke Hospital
Lead by head Doctor Faye Stevenson and secondarily Dr. Whale. The Hospital is possibly the biggest building in Storybrooke, housing two floors of hospital rooms for both appointments and patients (including a mysterious Jane Doe who has been in a coma for as long as anyone can remember). There is also a basement within the hospital that only Mayor Regina Mills has access to.
Storybrooke Library and Clock tower
The center of the entire town. The Library has been boarded up for as long as anyone can remember, locked and collecting dust; inaccessible to anyone. The clock tower which sits on top of it has been broken for a number of years, and has recently just started working again.
Storybrooke Pet Shelter
An animal shelter under the careful order of David Noland, willing to take in any animal and find good homes for each and every one of them. David does not believe in euthanization and therefore the company struggles for money, but they manage.

Just as Rumpelstiltskin said, Storybrooke is their new prison. In a land with no magic, Regina no longer holds her power that helped her to become Queen, but since Regina was the one to cast the curse, she is responsible for not only her being Mayor of the city, but she is also responsible for wiping the memories of every resident of Storybrooke, implanting false ones giving them the indication that they have lived there their entire lives.
Regina gave everyone a false name, occupation, and relationship, making the town seem more real. Regina's main aim for the curse is to keep Snow White and Prince Charming apart from one another, and so transferring the Sleeping Curse Regina put on Snow White, a Jane Doe now sleeps comatose in the Hospital, not knowing Charming's counterpart David Noland, nor David knowing her.
No one questions their memories. No one wishes to leave Storybrooke. Things are they way they are simply because that is the way it is. That is how Regina holds control, by essentially 'puppetting' the lives of those now in Storybrooke, making her own happily ever after.
With the arrival of Henry Carlyle though, things are beginning to change, and the people are starting to get their memories back.
Chapter 2 Down the Rabbit Hole
