Bio: As a little boy, Jim Hawkins admired stories of the legendary pirate, Captain Nathaniel Flint. But then his father, Leland, abandoned Jim and Sarah, his mother and owner of the Benbow Inn, when he felt he couldn't handle the responsibility of being a husband and father. As Jim grew older, he became a rebellious teenager getting in trouble with the police.
It wasn't until Hawkins met an old drunken seaman named Billy Bones who became a dead man after receiving the dreaded Black Spot, Jim was thrust into adventure filled with pirates and treasure. Jim befriended pirate Long John Silver who learns that friendship is more important than treasure. Silver gave Jim his talking parrot, Captain Flint, and a share of the treasure.
Jim returned home to help rebuild his mother's inn which was destroyed in a pirate attack. He joined the naval academy following a recommendation by Captain Amelia. After four years of outstanding service and rising up the ranks, Captain Hawkins was tasked with hunting down the feared Captain Hook. He found the Jolly Rodger at the port of Isla Tortuga, and thought he had the advantage of a surprise attack, but it was a trap laid out by Hook who was aided two other pirate captains. Hook's pirate gang fought and killed Hawkins men, sunk his ship, and captured Hawkins alive. Hook marooned Hawkins to Neverland where he befriended Tinker Bell and fell under the evil rule of Peter Pan. Hawkins fell in love with the beautiful Indian Princess of the Red Tribe of Neverland. Tiger Lilly was captured by the Lost Boys as Pan's revenge on Hawkins who was also jealous of their love. Hawkins attempted to save Princess Tiger Lilly but Peter Pan stopped him and banished him from Neverland and cast him into a portal Pan created.
Now stuck in another strange world called Wonderland, full of dangerous creatures and talking flowers. Hawkins sought out an audience with the Red Queen to seek passage out of Wonderland. The Queen made an agreement to show Hawkins out of Wonderland if he could find the fugitive Alice. Hawkins agreed and led a group of knights to hunt down this Alice. Hawkins found Alice but lost her through Tulgey Wood. Hawkins soon found himself lost and wandering without hope. He was found by a Carpenter who told him of the White Rabbit who could dig holes to other worlds. The Carpenter allowed Jim to stay at his house for the night, and in the morning Jim set off to find the White Rabbit. Unfortunately Jim was captured by the Red Queen's soldiers, and currently imprisoned for failure to apprehend the fugitive Alice. Alice rescued Jim from the soldiers and helped him find the White Rabbit who took Jim back to England.
Jim returned to service in the Royal Navy, and set off once again for the pirate Hook. This time Captain Hawkins used mermaids to track down Hook. Hook used pixie-dust to escape but one of the mermaids told Captain Hawkins of a powerful sorcerer who lived in Twilight Town, a world located in between light and darkness. She could sense Hawkin's noble heart and would only escort him without his ship and crew. Jim agreed and was led to Twilight Town and Yen Sid's tower where he met the Sorcerer and his apprentice who was quite literally a mouse. Yen Sid said his apprentice's team of mapmakers had just completed his latest magical construction of a map. The Sorcerer told Captain Hawkins that the magical mapmap was capable of taking dreamers to any place imaginable. The Sorcerer's apprentice led Jim to the studio where the large map was made. The Sorcerer's Apprentice used magic to shrink the map to a smaller scale and gave the map to Jim, wishing him good luck on his mission to hunt Hook.
Captain Hawkins' eyes sparkled as the magic began working on the blank map. The magic drew a detailed location of Hook's ship at the familiar island of Never Land. All of the sudden his fingers sank into the map and he was pulled into the magic. In a flash of bright colors, Captain Hawkins found himself standing on the deck of the Jolly Rodger, he would take his fight with the pirate a bit sooner than planned. But to the captain's surprise he found Peter Pan instead who questioned how Jim had returned. Peter Pan was upset with his lies and threatened to kill Tiger Lilly if he didn't have the truth. Jim told him that he found a magic map that took him here, failing to mention the map was in his pocket. Pan captured Hawkins and gave him Captain Hook on the agreement that Hook would leave Neverland. Hook agreed and Pan left Hawkins with a promise to kill Tiger Lilly if he ever returned.
Hook told Hawkins who was tied up in the brig that he spare Hawkins life if he agreed to stop chasing him. Hawkins agreed with one condition, that the pirate start acting "good." Hook agreed whether it was lie Hawkins wouldn't know for sure. Hook dropped Jim off in England. Jim Hawkins resigned as Captain of the Royal Navy and bought himself a ship he named
Silver Arrow after two heroes of his past that inspired him. Captain Hawkins used the map to travel worlds in search of a crew that would stand by his side in his fight against evil. His ultimate goal to stop Pan, but first he needed to form an army of magical beings.
