I destroyed my previous microwave with a bunch of lightbulbs. Surprised I didn't do it in with all the paperclip experiments I pulled off with it.

...it literally exploded.

wat do?

So my lamp was sitting on the floor. Out of boredom I wondered what would happen if I poured my lukewarm water on it.
I did that and there was a very loud pop and a few seconds later, the glass broke and the light went out.

I just wanna know why this happened?
Probably a stupid thing to do lmao.

>Thin glass
>hot glass
>Not hot water
>lightbulb starts to contract as glass will when temp drops
>lightbulb can't handle the size change because the glass is too thin
>Boom

Don't fucking do it again and next time use google. Tiny glass can still result in big ow if you're not bright, and given that your lamp just went out AND you poured water on it in the first place, neither the formal nor the colloquial application of the word can be applied to your situation.

You just keep doing your experiments, kid. Natural selection will sort everything else out.

For your next experiment, I recommend mixing cleaning chemicals in a closet.

Be sure to stuff a towel under the door so that none of the scent escapes. It's important to judge the experiment by smell.
