Garland Amell, the son of Revka Amell, is a mage in the Fereldan Circle of Magi. He was sent to the Circle after a harsh betrayal by his closest friend, who could not cope with the reality of befriending a mage. The same illness that took the lives of Lord Aristide Amell and his wife, had also robbed Garland of his family. Despite his loss and the oppression he faced, Garland possesses a positive attitude, considered to be the jokester of the Circle. Recently partnered with a templar to assist in hunting apostates, Garland will finally step past the walls of the Circle for the first time in years. But like all mages, Garland dreams of freedom, and of one day confronting the very man who betrayed him.

- Despite Garland being Revka's son, he is not the Warden. We're to assume the Warden was of a different origin, and is not a mage.
- Garland's betrayer is now a templar, and is a role you are welcome to play if you wish.
- That said, you are welcome to play an entirely different character and origin, or the templar he is partnered with.
- The timeline can be altered to suit the plot, as can Garland's current location and predicament.
- I would very much enjoy (and prefer) romance elements in this RP, and have a strong preference for MxM.
- I am an Advanced RPer, and have been role playing for fifteen years now.
- That said, I prefer quality over quantity, despite being known for being long-winded myself.

I would say that it definitely would help. But ,a lot of the ideas and themes are not entirely unique, so I could fill you in where needed. The games are awesome though if you ever wished to play them. They essentially replaced my need for Final Fantasy, haha.
