the pair heard a large racket. Aqua waved Arthur off and started rolling the wheelchair towards the sound.
"why do you insist on running head-first into danger?" Arthur cried, hurrying to follow her/
"because it's better then feet first, come on!" she said. he grabbed the handles and started pushing
"you're gonna get me killed someday" he looked down at her "i hope you know that" she was silent, they turned a corner and saw the battle "Crap"

Alessia heard the sounds but didn't really care until a little beeping noise suddenly got too much and she flipped screens to see what was going on. a camera screen appeared, it was very grainy but she could make out some kind of fight, there appeared to be multiple hybrids involved and at least one human. "why is it working now?" she thought "whoever used to live here must have attached motion sensors to them and when this started it turned on, even though the picture's horrible and it's obviously on it's last legs, clever" she quickly searched and found a file with a map of the abandoned city, it wasn't quite accurate anymore but it was pretty close, she tried to pinpoint which camera that was, it was near the fence.

Aqua wanted to help the hybrid but she didn't know how, she just kind of stared and watched, if it came to it she could shroud everyone in darkness and give them a few seconds to try and calm down. she hoped it wouldn't come to that.

Natasha, surprized, watched the man drag the girl away. "Jerk!" she hollered. "I can't believe he just ran over here and assumed we were murdering the girl." She walked over to Devon's limp body. She hissed to herself and threw a rock at the direction the man ran. "WHY DID YOU TRY TO HURT US? WE DIDN'T TRY TO HURT YOU!" she started to rant and scream at the man angrily until she shot up into the sky in a fit of rage.

Sonja stared in disbelief. Her one chance to escape had attacked Devon and took the girl, and unfortunately left her here. Quite ironic, actually... she thought as she hopelessly fell to her knees in shock.

Devon woke up groggily seeing Sonja fall to her knees. The rain had mostly stopped, it seemed that the actual storm had moved on to the other part of the city. He was still feeling groggy, using his blood like that gave him the equivalent of a hangover. He had really overdone himself. "What's wrong, lady?" he grumbled, his head spinning and his skin still more pale than normal.

The girl ran away into the rain and he stumbled away from the location instead going into the city. He pulled out his cell phone and made a call to one of his few contacts. The line clicked as the man answered it "Yeah Trace its Vex ive had an incident involving the hybrids and need immediate medical attention. Lock onto the phone" Vex said as he passed out against an alley his hand still on his knife and as he dropped the phone.

Lucius had been wandering the tunnels under the city for days. He was unable to return to human form and still looked like a demon. Suddenly he could hear fighting from above then it subsided and all was quiet. Then he heard it Sonja's voice and soon after a thud from its location. Not thinking he burst from the ground about five feet from her flames covering his skin and his eyes burning as he rushed forward and grabbed her running into the ruins of the city as fast as he could.

Alessia could not believe what was going on, the human had grabbed another girl, who she guessed was human, and ran off camera. then Sonja dropped to her knees and a huge ass monster shot out of the ground, picked her up and ran away "What the f**k?" she stood up and decided she was going to go figured out what the hell was going on out there. she turned the computer off and hurried out the door, the rain appeared to be letting up but she was still reluctant to go out there. curiosity won and she was out in the rain, hissing lightly with every step.

Aqua rubbed at her eyes "was i seeing things Arthur?"
"No, i'm just as confused as you are" Arthur replied. "but i don't want to get involved, we should head back to base, Alessia can come back on her won, the rain's almost over anyway"
"yeah i think we might want to go" Aqua agreed, Arthur started rolling her backwards before carefully manuevering in a circle and returning the way they came.

Devon screamed "WHAT THE F##K!?!?" and then laid there for a few minutes in shock. He stood slowly, and limped around back to his nearby hotel room. He found it mostly collapsed from the vibrations of battle,and he could not get in. He stared at in, shocked, and then turned, and seeing two hybrids walking/rolling the other way, he ran after them. When he reached them, he grumbled "Can I come along with you guys? My house is kind of non-existent now."

Sonja screamed and curled up into a ball, covering her head with her hands. She shook with fear as she was grabbed my Lucius and screeched, "WHAT THE F**K JUST HAPPENED?!" Suddenly she looked up to see Lucius' face, the familiar flames covering his body. "Lucius..?" she said before she fainted in exhaustion and shock.

The appearance of the second human caught him off guard. The rain must have masked his scent somehow. This human was armed, clearly no child. A hunter then. Rage flexed his claws and prepared to rush the hunter when another Hybrid engaged him. Odd. The new Hybrid seemed to be using his own blood for fighting to which Rage scoffed at. That one must have some insane regenerative abilities or easy access to a blood bank to use so much of his body's blood supply and still function normally. Rages thoughts were confirmed as the Hybrid to a burst of gunfire and watched as the bullets were pushed from the wounds. Unfortunately for the human his now cut and burned hand would receive no such healing and as if finally realizing he was in over his head, rushed and grabbed the girl before taking off towards the fence. 'Good riddance.' he thought. The less humans this side of the fence the better. They were much easier prey in smaller numbers. Rage didn't stick around long after that and didn't bother to conceal himself as he walked away from the scene. With his black hooded jacket and track pants he was fairly indistinguishable and the sports wrap that covered his hands and feet leaving only his claws exposed hid what little of his fur would be visible. The unnatural chill in the air was his only recognizable feature as he walked, leaving patched of frost with each step.

Natasha flew over to a tall building far away from where she had once been and sat down on the edge. She hissed at the rain pouring on the building, chilling her to the bone. She wrapped herself in her wings to find warmth but did not succeed.

Rose Violetta stood alone in a dark ally chewing on a piece of rubber that she had found. The rain dampened her hair that lay flat and dripping down her face, still slightly stained with blood. The silence was almost deafening to her as she started to walk further down the alleyway and through a couple of streets until she was under a streetlight, out of the shadows. Rose sat herself down on the curb and let the cold air envelop her, with her arms crossed and jaw clenched she began waiting. Waiting for some miricale to go disastrously wrong, waiting to finally see the agonizing pain of those who need not suffer.

Arthur stopped when he heard someone's voice, he turned and saw someone asking if he could go with them, as his house apparently collapsed "i don't mind"
"me neither" Aqua said. they waited to see if he came to their side or not.

if he did Aqua asked him "so what's your name? what happened to your house?"

if he didn't then she winked and said "oh come on, i don't bite, he might" she gestures behind her to the centaur, who swatted at her hand, she laughed and said "but i won't"

Devon was thankful, and he explained to them that the explosion from the battle shook the earth and the old building finally collapsed onto itself. He then joined them and noticed the man resembled a centaur. "Wow, i don't think I've ever seen the mutation take hold like that. well, aside from that THING that was just back there"

Arthur started pushing aqua "this isn't a mutation" he looked at the guy for his reaction, then continued "i physically had a horse's body grafted onto my own" he smiled almost angrily at the guy.
Aqua saw that a bit of his second personality was showing, she whispered to the guy "he doesn't like talking about it, the corporation did it to both him and his brother, he was one of the original experiments"
"i can hear you you know" he growled.
"no you can't" she retorted, she turned her attention back to the guy, changing subjects "that thing back there was real weird wasn't it? by the way i'm Aqua, this is Arthur, you are?"

Alessia after finding where the battle or whatever had happened, and hiding from Arthur and Aqua, she headed off where the big monster had taken Sonja. she approached quietly from the darkness. at first Sonja seemed scared then she seemed to recognize the monster, which kept Alessia from approaching.

Rushing into an abandoned building he dropped Sonja then flung himself at a wall. Howling in pain as flames covered his entire body in a bright flash. His howls turned to screams as the naked teenager fell to the ground once again in his human form. starting to regain some bearing he stared up at Sonja from his knees and let his arms fall limp at his side as steam rose from his skin. He started to speak then stopped his throat burning so he swallowed then continued "I heard you yelling then a thump I thought you had died" he finished in a raspy voice.

Trace waited the boy to come in and threw the folder at him the second he did."There are two targets contained in these folders. A little girl and a beast. Find them, kill the beast, bring the girl alive. Easy enough even a dog like you couldn't f**** it up."Trace snarled when his phone began to ring."What?!" he snapped into the phone. As he listened to Vex`s plea he looked almost uninterested. "yes..yes.. A medical team will be on the way shortly." with a side glance she snarled at Drake."Also, i`m sending my pet."

Keaira shook listening to the battle but she could hardly hear over the rain. The clouds began to part and her hearing came back to her in a moment. With it she could make out shapes of other hybrids.one of them seemed to be injured. Walking carefully over to him she kneeled in front of him reaching her hand out. "Are you alright? What happened?"

Devon smiled and said "I'm Devon. That thing back there was quite messed up, I'm not even sure WHAT it was! But it did take that girl...." He said confused, wondering what the beast would want with her. He then turned to Arthur and said "Sorry for bringing it up, my si-" He paused for a second. "I've known some people who've had similar things happen to them."

Hawk looked over the folder and left soon after, knowing what needed to be done. He ignored Terra, if she wanted to follow she could, but he didn't care he could handle this on his own if need be. He used his ability to glidge quickly across rooftops, and made it soon to the tallest building in the city. He scaled it to the very top, and stood on it's roof. He pulled out a white mask with black glass over the eyeholes, and placed it on his face. It covered the upper half of his face, and when it touhed his skin, small magnets clipped together, locking it to his face. After that, the technology whirred to life, and the black glass lit up like a screen. At first everything looked black to Hawk, but then the system ran it's colour scanners, and it was just like looking normally, except there was some technological benefits. If the light was killed the mask would simply turn into Night Mode and he would be able to see again. For now, he used his ability to connect to the air around him, pulling in the sound waves from the air and into his ears. His brain went into hyperdrive, and his head kept flicking left and right, and then back. Finally, he heard something of interest, and dropped everything but it. He heard a female voice and a male voice, and they were obvious hybrids. He heard them talking about a 'beast' that had passed, and that was enough for him. He dived from the rooftop, gliding quickly across the landscape, making his way to the destroyed zone. He landed just by the fence, and sprinted down back alleys until he was near where the beast had last been sighted. He stopped for a moment to gather clues on where the beast went next.

Arthur smiled "it's alright, my brother died a hero" he looked forward wistfully forward over Aqua's head.
Aqua watched him carefully, then turned her attention back to Devon "it's nice to meet you Devon" she looked up at him for awhile before saying "i have to ask, are you part of the resistance?" she looked back up at Arthur "we both are"

Alessia slowly approached as the monster became man. she hoped the pair would not see her but she wanted to know what was going on.

"I could be" Devon said with a smirk in response to the girl. "I have no problem with resisting, ive never been in any specific group or anything, but I've beat my fair share of hunters before." Devon stopped for a moment, he felt like he was being watched. He turned around, and for an instant, he though he saw a man with a white mask. But then he seemed to just vanish. "We aren't alone." He declared to the two behind him.

Hawk found the hybrids speaking about the beast, only to be seen immediately. He used his air powers to phase across the landscape. It took a lot of effort, but it made him sort of slip in between the air, and let him vanish and move super quick for about 2 seconds. He was now on the other side of them, ducked on a collapsed rooftop. It appeared as if the other two had been warned, and Hawk's mask worked with his mind, anything Hawk thought was projected onto the mask's screen. He saw strategies, weak points, etc. He discovered that the girl was the weakest link, as her legs were weak, so he used his grapples to grab her by the arms as he leaped into the air. The grapples lifted her from the wheelchair, and as they snapped back to him, she was dragged through the air, landing in his arms where he held her tight. "Where did the beast go?" He asked in a stoic voice to the other two. If they cared at all, they would give him the info he needed. Humanity was a silly little thing.

Arthur's eyes had followed Devon's when he said they weren't alone, as such he didn't see Aqua get grabbed until after she was in the air and there was nothing he could do.
Aqua, was shocked, and annoyed ... and pissed. she was in some hybrid's arms. he had snatched her out of the wheelchair and into the air.
she asked him where the beast had gone and she replied "how the f**k should i know?" she looked over her shoulders at him, a pitch black mist forming around them, her skin was slippery and as such she forced herself out of his arms and crouched on the roof in front of him, the black mist hopefully starting to obscure his vision, it did not obscure hers as it was her mist. "if you want to know just go to where the fight was, it's tracks are pretty frickin' obvious"

Arthur was pissed off. he didn't know what to do though, he saw Aqua force her way out of the thing's arms, but he couldn't do anything, the ground beneath him began to bend and wave but did not stumble him."Devon? do you know who he is?" he did, and it just made him feel more angry.

Sonja opened her eyes, dizzy. Her vision was blurry, so she blinked a few times before she covered her eyes again. "Ahhhh!" she screamed. "Where were you this whole time? I thought YOU died." she turned around and uncovered her eyes, now staring out the window of the old building. "Please tell me you brought extra clothes," she said, exasperated.

Natasha saw a huge beast run into an old building, clutching an unconscious Sonja in his hand. She heard a painful howling that turned into a screams of a teen and wondered what the heck was going on in there. She could hear the conversation going on inside and struggled with her Hybrid ears to hear.
