You want an honest response to the question? My thoughts;

1) How the hell are we supposed to know what's to come in the rest of the 21st century, and whether or not it'll overshadow the events of the 20th? We're only 14 years in. It's a bit early to say.

2) Why are you even making this comparison? Of all the centuries in history, why do these two need to be compared? Do people sit around debating whether the 16th or 17th century is "more important"? It strikes me as a really pointless discussion.

A little early to be asking that question, don't you think?

So far, I'd say the 20th century is more important, based on the fact that we're still only 14 years into this century. If I'm still alive in 100 years, I'll have a more educated answer by then.
