"I guess I'll have to ma'am." Kiddo said sighing and ignoring the new guy. Damn, he seems even cockier and more of an asshole then how Ren was when we first met him. "I probably won't even get strike on you. But, there is always that 1%" Kiddo said when answering Olivia's question.

Kiddo was now gripping the wooden sword, he was in his stance ready to attack. This is so light, i'll definetly have to change up my fighting style for this thing. Kiddo thought to himself while holding the sword with both hands instead of just his right hand. He widened his stance and slowed his breathing, making sure he was ready to attack. Kiddo took a deep breath and dashed forward, straight forward at Olivia. The sword's blade was behind him a bit.

Oliva laughed "it's not foolish. You're skilled with blade and gun. As for being a miester, you're not ready for that, or you'd see the benefit of teaching" she nodded to Lorenzo as he sat down, and watched as Kiddo approached. She watched him, and when he began to move, she did to. She dashed to the side, fast and graceful, her training sword in front of her.

She lashed out with her blade, to Kiddos side, as she moved and waited for his reaction

"You should know of my feats Oliva. Also, you misunderstand. What I meant by foolish is me teaching. Teaching is obviously beneficial, but for me, I have no teaching ability whatsoever. Don't remember the guy I was teaching to spar last time? Anyway, it doesn't matter. " Hax replied to Oliva. As he went to look on to the battle, he saw Lorenzo relaxed in his wariness, and that both Lorenzo and Kiddos had probably misunderstood something. Hax was just not good with other people in general, and preferred working alone. Simple as that. Not that he thought himself superior, or that he can do everything. Sound judgement was one of the things built into him as he was training. He lightly sighed, releasing the grip of his Demon Blades, mentally telling Ifernucus and Cyrono to sleep.

"You, Lorenzo, was it? Let me see your Demon Sword. I want to see something. Don't worry, I'm not going to take it or anything." Hax's ability to speak with the demon's in the weapons was of another level, a gift upon him he was born with. He could have a deep connection with them, and wanted to see what Lorenzo was like by asking the Demon within the sword.

Kiddo dropped as low as he could to the ground the moved to his right a little making sure he was in front of Olivia. , The sword Olivia was using hit his hear and he could feel the wind from it. When dropping down he let go of the blade with his left hand giving his right hand full control. Only if this was heavier. Kiddo thought as he swung diagonally with the blade at Olivia's chest. Unless her reaction time is super fast there is no way she could pull her sword back in time, or dodge. Kiddo thought smiling knowing he had this in the bag.

Lorenzo relaxed watching the starting fight with kiddo and Olivia and wondered how he would fair against the teacher when Lorenzo could hardly even hurt her. then he heard the guy talk about how he had no teaching ability, that Lorenzo could believe out of the guy considering he seemed arrogant and overconfident in his abilities even if it may be well deserved. Lorenzo looked surprised as the guy asked for Lorenzo's demon sword and that instantly put Lorenzo on high alert as he jumped away from the guy putting his fists up "no, nobody is allowed to draw my sword but me" Lorenzo said not wanting some stranger to handle his sword, if the guy took the sword out of the sheath he would see Lorenzo in his demon white flames and that would be the end of him. Being part demon was one thing but being the son of a demon king would get him killed in an instant by someone that doesn't know Lorenzo situation. like Lorenzo would just give the guy his sword he must have thought Lorenzo was either gullible or stupid

Oliva narrowed her eyes, letting her own momentum guide her to the floor and out of Kiddos blade. It left her vulnerable for a minute as she brought her blade in front of her, and kicked out to Kiddos legs, but was distracted as she heard Hax ask to look at Lorenzo's blade and she shouted out "Hax, no! Leave his blade be" she knew what would happen if Hax were to withdraw the blade, and she didn't want that to happen.

She got her feet under her, glancing to kiddo

Sigh. A loud sigh could be heard from Hax. "I never said anything about drawing it. I just wanted to hold it by the hilt. Well, if you didn't want to, then just say no. You know, you can tell a lot about a sword by holding it? And a lot about it's user and master, regardless of the sword. All blades have their own story, their own history, their own record, their own choice. Basically I just wanted to know about you from the sword. You don't need to draw a sword to understand it. I trust swords more than anything, they tell the truth. Nothing more, nothing less, all circumstances, everything. They read their masters, their users, and know what they want. anyway, if you don't want me to just simply hold it, fine. I won't force anything. Just means there will always be a wall." He was still leaning against the wall, unfazed by their actions.

Watching as Oliva shouted, he replied, "Don't get distracted. If you are training someone for a battle, then both parties need to know not to let their guard down, or be punished for it. Anyway, what do you take me for? Some fool? I am not going to draw out a demon's sword. A blade with a demon in it, or sealing demon powers. There are many consequences when someone the demon deems unworthy that can occur or when a seal on one's powers can cause catastrophe. Don't forget, I've had more actual field experience than yourself, despite being an exwire right now. I know what I am doing right now." Hax sighed once more. Discontent with the situation.

The fool part I believe. You really think I would trust anyone that asks for my blade 10 seconds after meeting me? I don't care if what you said is real about you getting a demon swords emotions because I do not know you, the only way you will touch my blade is like this" Lorenzo said holding out his blade in a tight grip his hand in the blades hilt and sheath so if the guy tried anything Lorenzo could pull it out in a second. Lorenzo didn't trust the guy but Lorenzo did need to develop his abilities and control himself when he lets his flames loose he couldn't let himself go out of control but he won't let anyone take his sword

Kiddo jumped over Olivia's legs, when hitting the ground he rolled and looked at her. She glanced at him. She looks mad. Kiddo thought to himself. "Good practice." Kiddo said happily, but Olivia didn't because she was to focused on the task at hand. Hax gave a long speech on swords and then began speaking of having more field experience then Olivia.

If Olivia is that good i wounder how good Hax is. Kiddo thought, putting his practice sword away. He went to his backpack and pulled out his sketching supplies. He began drawing what had just happened. He was waiting for Olivia to tell them what to do next.

The drawing was in a comic book form. Different panels and such. The first drawing was the start of the battle, the 2nd Olivia's attack and his dodge, third Olivia's dodge and the forth was Kiddo Recovery.

Oliva sighed. "I'm sorry Kiddo. I shouldn't have gotten distracted. But I think you are both efficient enough to fight enough other. You'll eventually become in sync with each others moves, which is valuable when you fight a demon" She returned her practice swrod as well, before turning to Hax.

"Kiddo, Lorenzo, here is an example of what not to be. Hax here thinks he knows everything. He thinks he is above everyone else, and that he always has more experience then anyome. For your information Hax, You may have fought more then me, but that does not mean you have had more experience. I am an Aria. I know how to fight, but I am needed more for killing the demons outright then anything else. You do not know what you are doing right now, and that's why you are still an exwire. You have a long way to go before becoming a miester"

She sighed, "Kiddo, Lorenzo, you can go now. If you ever want to train together, with Cassandra and Ren, you can. Most training rooms will be empty after classes are over. Tomorrow, we will split up again. I want you two to meet me here in the morning. Go and do some studies, read up on demons, and some more on your chosen Miester's"

Lorenzo put his sword away behind his back nodding to Olivia "yes mam" he said before gesturing for kiddo to join him, Lorenzo still didn't like Hax but unfortunately he will cross his path again and that much he knows, although maybe next time it will be under better circumstances and without Lorenzo worrying about him stealing Lorenzo sword or even worse drawing the blade itself. Lorenzo walked outside with kiddo back to the dorms " I believe ren still owes me and Cassandra lunch" Lorenzo said smiling at kiddo going back to his thoughts about his friends rather then Hax and wondering how an aria was able to get that good at fighting with a sword even if she had more experience it was hard to believe that she got so good at swordsmanship that she can stop Lorenzo attacks considering they were faster then most humans can really handle at one time...

"Yeah, he does doesn't he?" Kiddo said with a laugh and smile while putting his things away and joining Lorenzo. "But, first lets go check my mail. I'm expecting a letter from my dad today." Kiddo then began walking to his mailbox. It was by his dorm so it wasn't to long of a walk.

Kiddo opened the box with the key had. Seeing the letter made him happy. "Finally! I wounder how he's doing." Kiddo noted opening the letter and reading. The letter read:

Dear, Kiddo

We hate to inform you but your dad has passed away. He was in a car crash yesterday morning and died on impact. He had a will and you will be receiving everything. Please contact us, we have arranged the funereal. It will be held Friday all day. We are greatly sorry and grieve with you.

Love, Aunt Windy

Kiddo's lip began to quiver, his stomach turned and tears began to fill his eyes. He began shaking. Dropping the letter Kiddo pushed his back up against the door to his room and then slid down the door to the floor. He pulled his knees to his chest and put his head into them. He began screaming and crying, gasping for air. Kiddo couldn't stop shaking. His father, dead, he had no other family other than his aunt left. Kiddo didn't know what to do, of course he was going to leave and go to the funereal, it was his dad's. He had to go.

"Thanks Simon!" Ren exclaimed as he stood up. He waited for Cassandra to head for the door and fell in step with her. He flashed Simon a final smile as they left the room. So much had happened in that class, but yet at the same time nothing had. He had learned a little about the girl standing next to him, and from what he had heard, she was impressive. As deadly in combat as she was caring out of it. Not only that but she was smart, like insanely smart. Doctor smart. That role will really fit her well. He thought smiling to himself.

He realized after a while that they had been walking in complete silence with him smiling at the floor. Ahhhhh! She probably thinks I'm weird. Quick think of something... smooth, yeah, smooth! Tripping over his words as he struggled to find them he finally stuttered out,"So Simon seems pretty relaxed, I really like the guy. Also, I didn't know you had actually wanted to be a doctor before you chose that meister, it really fits you Cass."

Cassandra walked beside Ren happily. She didn't mind the silence, but did wonder why he seemed to be smiling at the floor. "Simons gray. Massive, but gentle. Still I imagine he knows what he's doing and would be a formidable partner on the field" she said, shrugging "yeah. I've always just wanted to help people and I guess while little kids were playing doctor, I was trying to figure out how to become one. I don't know why. But it's definetely something I've always wanted to be. So I'm glad I could be one here too" she said, nudging the door open to her room when they got there, and taking her bible from the desk.

She smiled at Ren and handed it to him. "Come on. Lunch first then study. If we have the afternoon off we shouldn't waste it. We have stuff from yesterday to look at as well as today's stuff" she pointed out

Lorenzo walked with kiddo back to his room and saw him smile at his letter before it looked like he saw a ghost then he just went inside but what worried Lorenzo was that he heard screaming and crying coming from his room afterwards. something really bad must have happened for him to be so bad like this. Lorenzo wanted to come in and help him but he felt he needed some alone time so he simply wrote a letter writing down Lorenzo cell phone and to call him if he wants to talk. Of course Lorenzo would come back anyway with everyone else but he wanted to give kiddo time to process whatever happened.

Lorenzo left kiddo alone then went to find Cassandra and ren to have some lunch since it was ren who had to pay, honestly it seems bad things are going to keep happening to the little group Lorenzo had. Not enough their friendship was tested when everyone learned of Cassandra and Lorenzo now something happened to kiddo that would make him cry and scream and Lorenzo has no idea why it is. Lorenzo would give him a few hours at least to process it then he will come back with everyone that he would make sure of, for now Lorenzo put on a fake smile to try and find his sister and ren

Kiddo
Kiddo sat curled in a ball on his floor, the tears had stopped but he was still taking short narrow breaths. The tears had dried on his cheeks and had made a little damp spot on his floor. He couldn't think straight, he didn't know what to do. He of course had to go to his father's funereal but he also had to come back. A part of Kiddo didn't even want to go to his father's funereal, he wanted to stay with his friends because now they were like the only family he had.

Finally kiddo stood up and wiped the tears from his face. He put the letter on his desk and pulled out his laptop. He needed a train ticket. He looked and finally found one. The train left Thursday night and arrived at his hometown at 4:15 in the morning. And after the funereal he was going to come straight back. He didn't like his aunt much so he didn't want to stay with her, also he couldn't afford to miss a lot of school.

Kiddo sat on his bed he was to upset to eat anything and he guessed that anything he did eat would could right back up. I bet Lorenzo thinks I'm crazy now. Kiddo thought. He debated on going to find Lorenzo and the others but decided against it, he wasn't ready to see anybody. But, then a knock came to his door.

Lilly
"UGH!" Lilly sighed as pulled her bags up the steps and into the main office of the building. She was a couple days late and wasn't very proud of it. She had never missed a day of school. Once arriving in the office she approached the lady at the front desk. "H- h- Hi. My name is L-Li-Lilly Daze and I'm just now arriving for classes."

"Lilly you seem to be a couple days late but since it's still only the first week you'll still be accepted." The lady said with a smile. the lady then turned to her computer, began typing and then printed out something. "We only have two rooms open and they're male dorms. The women's dorms are all full. Your classes start tomorrow."

"That's Okay. Thank you." Lilly said in a quite tone as she set off for her dorm. I hope the boy I'm rooming with isn't a perv or weird or anything like that. In that case I'm screwed. Lilly came to the door of her dorm "Room 200B." Lilly said. She took a deep breath and knocked.

Cassandra dragged Ren to the cafeteria, looking about for Lorenzo and Kiddo, claiming a table for te four of them. She set her pack down, and leaned her sword against the table by her, conscious of keeping it close now, even if she didn't want it. She wondered how Kiddo and Lorenzo had gone without her and Ren in the class, and what they had done while they were with Simon. she wondeed, briefly, if she and Ren would be given a chance to train their other miesters, or if they would be stuck just in their support roles. She didn't mind that, but she had the sword, and the abilities that came along with being demon spawn, if she could learn to control it, so she was going to fight.

She sighed, "I hope Kiddo and Lorenzo will be here soon. I'm starving" She said to Ren

Lorenzo soon found his way to the cafeteria where he thought they would be, for now Lorenzo just had to put on a fake smile for kiddos sake for the moment. "hey guys, you buying lunch ren. I think ill have a juicy steak" Lorenzo said grinning at him. Lorenzo knew he would need to tell them but, okay Lorenzo was being a little selfish but he actually wanted lunch first from ren. besides this group has been dealing drama after drama and even a few minutes of peace would be good for them. Lorenzo would soon tell them about how kiddo ran into his room and started crying after seeing a letter but for now they just needed 5 minutes of peace....

Kiddo

Kiddo stood, walking to the door. I wounder who this could be. He thought sarcastically as he opened the door. "Hey Lo-" was all he got out before noticing a girl. Her blonde hair only went down to her shoulders and she wore glasses. She carried a black leather suit case. "Uhm, let me get that for you." Kiddo said taking the suit case from the girl.

"H-Hi. I'm Lilly Daze. this paper says I'm going to be rooming with you." She spoke very quietly, so quite Kiddo almost didn't hear her.

"Uh, yeah sure. Come in." Kiddo said moving aside. He was shocked that somebody had showed up to room with him. There was another bed atop of his, kinda like a bunk bed. "Make yourself at home." Kiddo said putting the suit case down by his desk. He quickly took the letter from off of the desk. Kiddo folded it and put it in his pocket. "I sleep on the bottom bunk, you can have top." Kiddo said still in a confused voice. Why is a girl sharing a dorm with me? Kiddo thought.

"Sorry for the, uh, sudden walk in. They said that, um, this was the, uh, one of the only rooms they had left." Lilly said while unzipping her suit case.

"You're okay." Kiddo announced, putting on a fake smile. "I'm going to step outside into the hall. meet me there when you're done." Kiddo then opened the door and walked out into the hall, he sat down on a bench and planted his face in his hands. He waited.

Lilly

He seemed nice. Lilly thought after the door closed. He probably thinks I'm a total idiot. She sighed and finished unpacking. After unpacking she walked out into the hall where the boy was sitting. "I'm ready. Can you show me around the school a bit?" Lilly asked trying not to sound shy or embarrass herself.

"Sure." Kiddo said standing up. "I'm Kiddo, Kiddo Hanto. At your service." Kiddo spoke kindly. "It's lunch time, so lets go there." Lilly followed Kiddo through the dorms to the cafeteria. The first thing she noticed was some people telling Kiddo to come over to the table. "Hey guys." Kiddo said with a small sigh. "This is Lilly. She's rooming with me because there are no other room open. Lilly, these are my friends. Lorenzo, Cassandra and Ren." Kiddo pointed at each person when saying their name.

"H- Hi." Lilly whispered looking down and backing up a little. She didn't like new people to much. She was always shy and didn't know what to do in social situations.

"I'm just happy with a sandwich" Cassandra said, "and chips" she added quickly with a smile, and was jut about to ask Lorenzo how the class was, when kiddo appeared with a girl. Cassandra rose, giving the girl a smile "hi." She realized that the girl was probably shy, and Cassandra tried to appear non-threatening. "Call me Cassie. Do you want to join us? Rens buying and I'm sure he'd buy for you too" she said, shifting her stuff so the girl could have the end, sliding down to the middle, "it's a pleasure to meet you. And nice not to be the only girl anymore" she said
