Brian walked quietly to the next class. He noticed the others mingling but he was still to home sick to make it a point to talk to anyone. walked through the halls like a ghost thinking about how he had gotten here and if he deserved to be here. He didn't harm anyone like some of the others. He wanted to be back home in his room with his books. How he missed his Shakespeare and Stephen King books, but most of he missed his David Wong books. He knew later he could go to the library and that might make him feel better, but all he wanted to do now was vent his aggression for the world. He didn't want to train to protect those that thought he was a monster. At a time he thought that he could be a super hero and save others, now he didn't know if they deserved to be saved. He looked down and sighed as the others passed him as he was deep in thought.

Katherin wondered how everyone else was adjusting to the academy. For her it was both easy and hard. It was a lot easier to live at the academy then it had been living on the streets. But she wasn't use to having so many people so close to her.

Absinthe sat down in a seat, this time, not being at the very back. She thought about her parents... It hurt but she needed to face the problem sooner or later. The people who worked for the government said her parents were at a hospital which remained a mystery to her. they were deciding if they should pull the plug or not. Absinthe cried, trying her hardest to hide it.

Brian sat next to Abby. "Don't cry." He said looking at her. "Don't let them see you're hurt. The humans don't care about us hurting." He said getting angry as he thought about normal teenagers doing as they liked. Brian could feel himself slipping into a darkness. "I'm sorry." Brian said and then took a seat in the back. He didn't like the feeling of hate he had. The longer he was in the school the angrier he got. He needed to get out his aggression. He materialized his book and pen again then put his head down.

Victor heard Brian as he talked to Absinthe and then sat in the back. His eyes changed to a yellow hue and his voice contained a heavy Arabian accent. Victor walked to a set next to him looked over at him, "You carry much anger for these humans you refer to," Victor's alternate personality got straight to the point, "You are very narrow minded." He chuckled a bit, "Granted Victor has not had the best experiences, but Victor knows that the Human race fears what they do not understand. So we do not feel anger." Victor changed back to normal and immediately started apologizing, "I'm so sorry, He can be quite blunt at times. I'm sure you are not narrow minded, you have a reason to be angry I'm sure, just don't be mad at me. I can't control what He does, I promise he is a good guy when you get to know him." Victor spoke very quickly and awkwardly, by the time he finished speaking he was out of breath.

"Now this second class is focused on the relaed subjects. We will start with art. We have set up easels and paints for each of you. You can paint whatever you wish." the teachers instructed them.

Absinthe, wiped her tears away, grabbing the supplies. She sat there doing nothing for a while. She wasn't an artist, she wasn't really good at anything. She looked around the classroom, daydreaming that she was flying free, as far away from reality as possible.

"Well this will be an interesting challenge." Katherin commented as she found her way to an easel. She had never tried painting before. It didn't seem like a very productive activity for someone who couldn't see what they were creating.

Victor painted like a mad man, honestly he didn't know what he was painting, he just let his hand do the work. When he was done he looked over his masterpiece. The painting was of a man who was grotesquely being ripped apart by a large panther. The panther's skeletal structure was human and it had a slim muscular build. Most of the paints he used were dark and heavy colours, which made the piece emanate a creepy and horrific atmosphere. Victor was shocked as he looked upon the painting, the amount of detail he put is was over the top making it very gory and sadistic, but also the painting it's self. It seemed to represent the conflict he has with his alternate personality and he didn't like the fact that the human part of him seemed to be losing... scratch that, he seemed to be getting demolished. He sat quietly staring at the painting, feeling uneasy.

Victor blushed as she hugged him, "Thanks." He smiled knowing that at least someone liked it. He was surprised that his alternate personality hadn't said anything about the painting, which made him worry.

Katherin carefully felt around getting a feel for the size of her cavas. Once she felt she knew how much space she had to work with, Katherin felt around for the paint. She found several jars in front of her that she assumed were full of paint. With no way to tell on color from another she began putting them on the canvas.

Brian painted a picture of his parents. He has often painted and drew pictures to pass time at home. He found himself thinking about what Victor said and laughed. What does he know. Narrow minded? What sense does that make? Whatever. He thought to himself.
