@KatherinWinterSorry for the sudden departure, but I'm going to have to back out of this RP. I'm going to be too busy to reply and I don't want to disappoint anyone by rushing posts.
@KatherinWinter@ladyanglaise "-And Jillian Maxwell." She giggled as she corrected the minister. "Mrs. Jillian Maxwell- Silly you, you forgot to add my name too!" Jill's smile became uncomfortable again, looking to Antonio as she touched his arm, barely, to get his attention. "Shall we skedaddle? Pictures might be, uh, fun?"
@KatherinWinter@ladyanglaise Jillian had no control as she felt one corner of her mouth lift into a smirk, the nervousness making her face glow red with a rage of giggles behind her smile. The embarrassed snickering sneaking out as she gasped out.
"I do!"
She shook her head slightly in disbelief, the grin growing in size. She couldn't believe she was actually doing this.
Jillian shivered, taken by surprise by her groom's touch as she looked back to him with large, blue eyes that shone brilliantly bright. It was so strange to be standing in this very moment with someone she had never met before about to become her 'betrothed'. She nodded vigorously, forcing a smile at the man.
"I'm, uh... I'm fine. Really." She was even more weirded out by the sudden childish nickname as well as the look he gave her which she felt was more of a 'brotherly love' kind than anything else, not that she was expecting moon eyes of infatuation. She gulped again, looking down awkwardly to match the surrounding silence and the starting eyes of the guests as she waited for the ceremony to begin and for who ever was preforming it to speak up and save her from the discomfort. This was so strange!
Personality: A sort of ingenuous manipulator who remains unpretentious and knows exactly where her power over others lie. She is a straight-forward thinker skilled in cognitive control and persuasion, and less often used, intimidation. If Mimi sees something she wants, she will think of ways to obtain her desires whether it be through bartering and enticement, or bashing your head in with a hammer. Luckily, it is not often that Mimi desires anything in particular other than the freedom from her toy body.
Abilities: She has the powers to THROW THIS WORLD INTO CHAOS! In all seriousness, Mimi has fewer powers to access in her doll form but she can still be quite damaging to ones body, mind, and soul. She has to ability to call forth lesser Demons and malevolent presences like poltergeists to aid her in whatever endeavor she might face, as well as communicate with them and any other spiritual being that crosses her path. With this access to the nether-realms, Mimi's minions can possess objects and people with weak wills. These servants communicate and interact with the physical world with telepathy, telekinesis, and other such powers. Mimi is able to 'power-up' and heal through the absorption of other Demons and Spirits.
Having minor illusion magic works well with a being a creature of manipulation, and can alter how others, if they are weak minded, perceive the world around them in order to convince them of whatever she pleases. The few minor abilities Mimi possesses are levitation, minor fire manipulation but not conjuration, and temporary possession of objects but not people. When possessing an object, Mimi remains in her doll form, but rather than entering the object as most Demons do, Mimi must manually move them with 'magical strings' and puppet them like a marionette.
History: Miannarah, as she was previously named by those who feared and worshiped her, is a Demon of possession and manipulation whi is well known, especially throughout the Demonic world. Years ago, Mimi was trapped in her current form of a doll that is approximately the size and shape of a 10 year old, human girl. She has been held in captivity to this day, spending the years looking for a long lost reversal ritual to cure her of her 'affliction'.
Before her transformation, Mimi was a borderline God with abilities that go beyond human comprehension, and was worshipped by mortal and supernatural beings alike for her grasp and control over both the spirit and material worlds, and had consumed entire life-based planets before her short reign on Earth ended in disaster for her; She had been summoned by a group of cultists to terrorize the city of Capulet which was overrun with Demon traitors who refused to bow down and obey their overlords, Mimi being no exception. She began her apocalyptic rule over the city immediately
Before being stuck in this finite, plastic form, Mimi had battled against an infamous Demon-Hunter where the remains of what Mimi could recall, other than the moment of her defeat, was the the Demon-Hunter was wearing a red trench-coat.
Personality:
Abilities:
History: Pazuzu is the Demon of Winds and Plagues incarnate, though rather than taking a form of flesh, he sticks to a theme that seemed best suited alongside Mimi and chose the form of a plushie Panda-doll that was conveniently light and easy for Mimi to take with her on her travels.
Gilligan has aramaic scriptures tattooed over their body as well as strange circular designs similar to the ones found in crop circles.
Six wings of the Seraphim:
Crest of the Seraphim:
Age: They do not remember, but they look around 17.
Personality: Inquisitive, virtuous, bluntly honest. Gilligan is a quick thinking strategist who remains loyal to her instincts to protect the innocent and slay the corrupted. Gilligan is intelligent and a fast-learner with survival instincts and a good judge of honesty and integrity.
Abilities: Because of their wings, Gilligan is well balanced, agile, and has swift reflexes, able to outrun (or fly) the average being and dodge unwanted attacks. Their skin and wings are tougher than leather and extremely durable, even when struck with a shard object, it will fail to cut the skin.
As all Seraphim do, Gilligan uses Angelic weaponry that are forever bound to their soul. The weapons have magical properties that make it a tool unique only to the Seraphim such as being destructible and can slice though most physical materials, including diamond, making the only useful strategy to use against a battle with a Seraphim is using means of magic, specifically Dark Magicks, as Seraphim tend to have a better resistance to Holy and Light Magicks. (See 'About Seraphim' to learn weaknesses)
Justitia:
This Angelic weapon is a foldable bow with magically installed incendiary and explosive arrows that come from the circular ammo holders at each side (shown below) which extends two arrows at once back to the bowstring, instantly ready to fire. However this bow does not work like a typical human weapon which would, with a few special perks to this incredible deadly weapon.
The arrows can be made to rapid fire unextended arrows at the same speed as an automated machine gun with faster acceleration. The only action required to utilize this feature is the hold back the bowstring and watch the unextended arrows fire away. Though this is a useful and lethal means of attack, the unextended arrows do not reach as far as the extended arrows, meaning if a long-distance shot is needed, an extended arrow must be loaded and manually fired.
Jerónima and Isabel:
History: Gilligan is a Seraphim that fell to the Earth, stricken with an amnesia that rid them of their memories, but not of their knowledge and experience, meaning they still know facts seemingly random to a mortal being, skills they have learnt in their unknown past, and of course, their angelic instincts. Gilligan knows of what she is, and her holy duty as a Seraphim. Having no memory of past personal event (though she has historical knowledge that is not commonly known, even for supernaturals) has no distressing effect on Gilligan, being deemed not important enough to them as much as their purpose to purify the Earth.
It had been only a few months since Gilligan fell from the Heavens, and since then they have been stalked, worshiped, hunted and suspected of being an alien, demon, and other strange explanations the mortals have made to involve themselves with Gilligan by varying organizations and cults such as government agents, religious zealots, supernatural hunters, and even other mystical creatures.
About Seraphim: To a Seraphim, there are only three types of beings: The Innocent, The Corrupted, and those few worthy to become a Seraphim; Hence, this peculiar alien race is known to be nearly extinct.
To become a Seraphim, it is required for one to lose their innocence all the while having a forgiving and good nature, most importantly being able to tell right from wrong, though this does not apply exactly to human moral standards despite being quite similar. The one able to pass such meticulous standards for the transformation is usually chose by a fellow Seraphim, which is one key ingredient to becoming a Seraphim for the reasons revealed next.
A ritual must take place at the moment of the chosen's death, requiring a covenant of innocents, Aramaic scriptures that summon forth a Seraphim to one in need of justice chanted by each covenant member, and an Angelic weapon to pierce the flesh of the chosen.
