Jonathan was currently attending the expo, having no particular purpose whatsoever. With several holes in his jeans and his shoes looking like they were at least ten years old, it would be no surprise to the mercenary that had it not been for the brand new looking jacket with the emblem of the Viper Mercenaries on it, they would mistake him for someone who was completely homeless. In truth, he just didn't really care what people thought about his appearance. If he could wear them, they were still good in his books.

However, despite the fact that he had no purpose being here he still found something he was interested in. Namely, a repair and polish kit that he really, really wanted to use for his Serpent. There was only a small problem, however: The vendor was selling it for 2000 credits. Jonathan had saved up money for this sort of equipment, but due to the fact that he had splurged a bit on equipment and a few spare parts he was now five hundred credits short.

"One thousand." Jonathan offered, only for the vendor to give him an extremely strange look.

"1900."

"1200."

"1700"

"1300"

"1600"

"1500 credits, and that's final." the vendor said, finally getting fed up with the haggling.

Jonathan grinned. His goal was achieved. "Deal."

Zane Decker

"Their record would seem to indicate they get by just fine. Though in their defence having everything top of the line is only a marginal help unless theres a competent pilot in the cockpit." Zane said in reply to the ESF pilots remark. "For instance my own Jaunde manufactured BuCUE is at least a generation out of date, the core design is 20 years old though it has seen some system and harware upgrades over time, I would still pit it against most of the suits I've seen today with confidence when piloted by any pilot I've served with over the past 10 years, including these sluggish walking arsenals." he then added with a gesture to the Rustungs.

"But where are my manners." Zane said as he offered a handshake to the ESF pilot. "Zane Decker, Jaunde first expeditinary mobile core., and who might you be?"

Victoria

Victoria, coming to the event as “the facility’s" best demonstrator available, doesn't bear the name of any nation, doesn't need to show as much discipline as those officials. Also in the eyes of the representatives, Victoria has an extra edge to show how “easy” to operate their products, few would admit they had ever considered “what if our pilots are inferior to a little girl whom not even a solider” even this is indeed the better guess.
In fact, Victoria doesn’t even care about which enterprise’s name it bears… this time. He only knows they did treat him well, fulfilling most if not all of his request with their seemingly endless resources, and this is good enough.
For now, there are still plenty of time before the next scheduled demonstration, so the representatives decided to let Victoria enjoy some leisure to keep him happy.

Strolling thought the display area, soon enough Victoria decided even on the mobile wheelchair, the heat makes any outdoor activities outside the sealed cockpit are just too demanding for him, so he advanced to the civilian tents for some point of interests.
The “Military-ish Souvenirs” – Why would anyone think those things are more effective than our everyday tools? Victoria always wonders, anyways it seems like they are not lacking of customers even though the price tags are times of the “average” products.
The foods – There are so much interesting dishes out there, but one can only eating this much… right? But… but, Haro did you see that? Why that man over there seemingly gonna to try it all, why?
That “Pilot simulator” – Well, at first grace they seems quite simplified even in terms of training units, but… listen to this, did you ever heard this sound effects? It is just miraculous. The video effects? Splendid! Let’s ride on this thing!

Arriving with the wheelchair, Victoria being placed at the front of the queue, the rules seems simple, you scores for downs, assists or objectives, if you being shot down, it will deduct your score, score enough and you will advance to the next battle.
Soon enough, the spectators start clusters around the units, and rumor spreads among the gamers, there is “a pro archived hundreds downs” at the new arcade display units.

The Crown Prince saw fit that he take over the task of representing his Kingdom's military. "The Rustungs did prove itself powerful in combat against the Kingdom of Vaern, our regional rival." He entered the conversation. He can also think of telling them a next-generation Mobile Suit but decided not to catch them offguard.
The soldier that previously did the talking saluted. "Crown Prince! I was explaining the Rustung to foreign personnel." He reported.
The Crown Prince nodded. "You have done well." He approved. "You may let me take over this conversation." He returned a salute and saw his subordinate go. He looked at the two soldiers with him, one obviously from the ESF and another presumably from a citystate. "I am Crown Prince Ludwig Sigismund of the Kingdom of Sandesgeist." He introduced himself. "And you two are?"

"Zane Decker, Jaunde first expeditinary mobile core., and who might you be?"
Emily grasped Zane's outstretched hand and gave it a warm tug. "Emily Won," she said to the pair. "ESF 28th Intercept Group, Black Eagles." She gave a curt nod of her head to the Prince in acknowledgement of his royalty.

"It feels like such a pleasant day, in contrast to the events last month," Emily mused. "I guess there are some things you just can't plan for."

"Come on, friend, this isn't the time for this."

There was no response; nor did Gregory McCoy expect one. If the object of his attention had responded, then there most certainly would have been a problem, as he was currently perched on the shoulder of his mobile suit, relatively far above the ground, tinkering with an open panel on the side of its head. He'd made the machine crouch down to make the issue slightly more accessible, but it was still a distinct inconvenience to have to climb his way up from the cockpit in order to make the requisite modifications. The issue was irritatingly simple, but at the same time, frustratingly difficult; the communications array underwent consistent interference every few moments rendering the channel static for a few seconds. He'd already run a full diagnostic of the software aspect, nothing was amiss.

So here he was, squinting at the minute details of the device, searching for something out of error. Wasn't an issue with power; all the power conduits were connected and connected correctly, and he registered no decline in power that corresponded with the issue. Nor could he seem to find fault with the flow of transmission from cockpit to array, so where was it-

There. Once Gregory spotted it, it was impossible to miss; the connection from transmitter to the receiver was loose, and looked more than a little worn down. The sheath for the wiring was largely stripped, and the connector itself was showing its age. Sighing, he connected it properly and closed the panel back up, clambering down into the cockpit and switching on the comm channels. A satisfied grin spread across his face as the chatter came in clearly, though he spent a few minutes listening and running diagnostics, just to make sure the issue had been fixed. Confident that it was, he powered the machine down and returned to the ground, staring back up at it; the Shaldoll Scout, the machine of his own making. Well, not just his own; he'd had assistance. That was fitting, he supposed, as the machine itself was a legacy of what had come before. Parts stretching back all the way to machines decades old, it was only fitting that their original pilot help create their successor.

Nevertheless, it was time to focus on the present. His grandfather was running the booth for him, answering questions of anyone who came by, and making sales. Gregory couldn't think of a better choice for the position, as it both left the booth in capable hands, and left him able to roam about the expo, seeing what had been brought here. Technically, he was here as a civilian; he was reserve forces, after all, and they had enough active soldiers to perform a demonstration. If only barely. That said, he was fully prepared in the event he was needed; big gathering of all sorts of factions, you never knew who might decide it was a good opportunity to attack. Such precautions were only that, however.

What really interested him were the towering titans of iron and steel above him, stretching as far as the eye could see from ground level. Marvels of engineering, and each one unique to its creators. From his vantage point alone, he could see GMs- some variants he hadn't seen before, too, Zakus, BuCUEs, Tierens, and even the odd Jegan or Flag among them. No shortage of things to learn and see.

Do need to look for a new wire for that transmitter, though. The pilot noted to himself, as he set off to explore the expo. Dimly, he noted the Sandegeist's Rustungs coming up on his right, some simulators further ahead on his left, and a whole stretch of parts vendors from here to eternity. No better place to make some acquisitions, both for personal use, and for the shop.

Zane Decker

Zane raised an eyebrow as the prince introduced himself befor nodding a greeting himself And assumed the prince had heard him introduce himself to Emily a moment ago.
"Contrast is the entire point of today I believe." Zane replied to Emily. "I just rather hope it doesn't prompt anyone to act rashly. I noticed a few Factions have not taken part today and who knows what might draw the attention of last months attackers. This Expo does present a pretty tempting target of oportunity in a tactical sense. Especially for anyone looking to tear down the progress towwards peace the people in this city have been working towards." He said at length before turning to address Ludwig directly. "And what of you prince, what do you think of todays Expo?" Zane asked.

The Crown Prince nodded. "I see the expo as an opportunity." He shared. "It brings other nations' militaries to let us study while presenting our own forces assert control." He moved to the political side. "The nations that bring the most advanced or largest forces show their dominance in here by showing they can. I and other soldiers from borders observing other kingdoms were brought here for this purpose." The officer finished explaining. The soldier he spoke to is the pilot of a Mobile Suit with an unorthodox canine design used mainly by the city-state, less-advanced but able to outflank a Rustung.

Noreille d'Amélie

"Well, I am from the city's guards, both as a pilot of my MS and as a general mechanic. Mostly mechanic, though, since keeping all our weapons working can be as difficult as shooting mysterious Mobile Suits from Outer Space." Noreille smiled as she answered the questions from the reporter. "And since there are no sudden attacks on us, and none of the Mobile Suits are falling apart, I would say the events running smoothly is what I enjoy the most, since I can have some free time walking around and chatting with nice fellow like you lot."

Christoph Lockheed

The praise was flattering. It was true - despite the recent attack, the mysterious mobile suits had yet to return. Christoph knew that his superiors were still on edge, all forces ready to combat the threat when it finally arrived, but for now, it appeared as if they could enjoy the peace. He allowed a small smile to appear on his face. It was nice to be able to relax at this convention. No major problems to deal with.

"From the lack of issues faced by the city's units, it is clear you are a competent mechanic."
