Land began to raise from the waters. . . vegetation inevitably came, maybe by one of the acts of a god hereafter the great Kadumath, Lord of all souls, made the home for all following mortals of the world of Orin. Kadumath fashioned souls for all living things to come. For now, actual souls did not exist, but there were another set of stars. These were not star nebula like real stars, but they had an identical appearance. Each one of these stars would be claimed by mortal life, or Kadumath's creations. Time rapidly grew apace as the gods did whatever they wished, but for Kadumath, he would soon have sired his first children out of a giant hatchery of eggs. Many great monsters, the Dragon Clans, the great Krakens of the sea, the Leviathans, and yes, even the Orcs. Orcs were strange creations of Kadumath, but they would arrive in the world at the same moment as the Humans. . . they would not meet until both races would have at least entered the Age of High Steel. . . steel swords capable of slicing into the solid diamond easily. . . this would be at least two thousand years, but still, other gods could hasten the meeting of Orcs and Humans.
The other gods could do as they pleased, but in the mean time, Kadumath began to take heart in the core of the planet of Orin, as his supernatural powers began to change the very nature of a now expanding Underworld.
Humans arrived as well, and Kadumath gave them the power to manipulate the powers of monstrous beings. Those who could do this powerful magic were and will always be known as Wizards.
