I much prefer to have characters that look like normal people and not big tited bimbo's or like they just came off a New York runway.

How are you gonna get any popularity then?

Add "average" to your search terms, maybe?

Decent female characters are relatively easy to find. You might have to wade through a lot of sexualised pictures to get a decent one but at least they exist. Ever try looking for decent pictures of male characters in a modern setting? I'm convinced that there are a grand total of three pictures on the internet that fit that criteria.

Maybe. I’m starting to think I should just write up a character description, even though I prefer pictures. Like, I’m trying to find someone for a Fallout RP. In the wasteland you’re going to look dirty and roughed up from years of wear and tear, and I can’t seem to find anything like that. I’m not exactly sure what to add in the search conditions either.

Hm. Now that I think about it, I don’t really play male characters as much as I do female. It was in my opinion that it was easier to find male characters, but that’s most likely do to what I just said, that I don’t play them much.

Never really trusted Deviantart, but I’ll give it a look.

Try Deviantart under costumes, historical reenactment, cosplay, etc. I've found lots of good period pictures that way.

I see how you can't simply add "dirty" to your search terms to get what you want.

Granted, any other genre and you get tons of decent male characters, but it can be incredibly hard to find good ones for male characters in modern settings.

granted, there's still a couple of questionably sexualized pics there, but not nearly as many as you'd find anywhere else.

Just go under there and type whatever you want. i.e. "Brown haired girl"
