OOC is UP!
Premise
The world as we know it as ended. Typically,
we don't have a clue why. It was five months ago now.
Fuck, that went by quick. It began with news reports.
Another big virus has broke loose, people dying all over
Africa and Asia. Just another day, we thought.
By the end of the week the news reports were showing
us live broadcasts of all the big cities - London,
New York, Paris. Only then did people start
crying like babies in front of their tv screens.
Because the streets were all empty. And the next day it
was at our front doors. 99% of those infected would
die, and the rest of us, we'd be hiding in our basements clutching our guns and hoping
for a miracle.
Some say we would have been completely fucked
if it weren't for the supes. If you fancy calling them
that. A lot of people went crazy religious after
the end, and call them the 'blessed' and worship
them like Jesus' grandbabies.
They came in all shapes and forms. Some came with
wings, some with horns. Some could make fire
just by thinking about it, or sweep an entire
horde to the side like a ragdoll. Either way,
they were the ones that saved us. Got us out of
our basements, banded us together and helped
us build our walls around our communities.
But they're few and far between. And they die
just as easy as the rest of us. And with the never
ending hordes never seeming to die, they're worth
their weight in gold.
Donde?
The roleplay will be based in a fictional town called Barclay somewhere near the Eastern United States.
The possibility will be there for there to be two+ towns and possible warfare / alliances and other interaction between them.
Wann?
The roleplay will take place in the Summer of 2016, several months after the infection began.
Zombies?!
Yes! I'd like to expand more on the type of zombies in the roleplay. I've pictures our zombies as being full of energy and rage,
determined to tear through whatever defences they can. They are not utterly devoid of intelligence: in fact, their intelligence levels could be likened to
a dog. They are stronger than the average human, and are capable of acts like jumping and running which are not normally seen in the undead.
However, whether we will have several types of zombies and other undead creatures is still pretty up in the air.
Possibilities
I think the RP could go in lots of different directions. Supes are worth their weight in gold and are now being kidnapped by other towns for all sorts of reasons; to leave a town defenceless, to blackmail them into doing their captors bidding, to breed them to create more Supes. If we separate into two towns with bad blood between them and give a couple of incentives, a lot of conflict could arise. I'd like more input in this.
