Krein, I suppose but then its not really paper is it? It could be anything. Density shifting is an interesting power set. Also you don't need to do a whole quote block for your post :P Yog, They have to be at least 16-17 years old. It's like the military they'd need parental consent.

I know, but I was typing from my phone and was already going to be late for my Karate class :p.

I don't see why more people haven't made supernaturally powered characters. Abysse, the ethereal arms things sounds pretty cool in my opinion.

God powers count as supernatural right? Most of my characters are supernatural if that does count.

Some of the scariest villains aren't just out for kicks or personal gain- they really, truly believe that their actions have a wider meaning. I don't know if you've seen Air Force One, but Gary Oldman's character is a great example- he guns down multiple unarmed people in the sincere belief that he's doing what's best for his country, while also mentioning his children and showing grief over the death of his henchmen. He's often very polite and gentle as well, which just makes him scarier.

Well Superboy prime does believe that the DC universe is a terrible place and thinks all of the heroes are horrible, so he does have a reason to be a villain.

I don't know, seems like a pretty lame excuse to be evil, and pretty unfounded.

Originally he believed the DC universe was a horrible place, and wanted to destroy it to bring back his on, more wholesome existence, if I remember correctly. I think he was being manipulated by an alternative universe Lex Luther. Regardless of the noble vein of his original intentions he quickly became little more than a card carrying villain, and a pretty poor one at that. He was always TOO powerful to generate a genuine threat. Joker has no powers, but is an effective villain because of his unpredictability. Lex Luther has no powers, is an effective villain because he genuinely believes he is in the right, and that sort of conviction is terrifying. Superboy Prime just reads like a teenager throwing a strop, and he is so powerful the reader knows that he never truly has any chance of achieving his goals. I mean if he did it would be the end of the DC universe.

Frankly Yog, I'd be happy to never see a Superboy Prime character in this RP, either PC, NPC or Antagonist.

To be fair, if Superboy prime doesn't have vital organ regeneration, all you need to do is make a bunch of nanobot bombs and have him inhale them, which is pretty easy if they're tied to a gas grenade. Add in some kryptonite in those nanobots for even better results.

He was silver ages, way before nanotech was a thing, nowadays hes not that big of a threat.

No such luck Mage, for a couple reasons. First off telescopic sight. He's see those suckers coming a mile off. Secondly super-speed, he ain't ever gonna get caught in a gas cloud if he didn't want to, and even if he did he can hold his breath indefinitely. Finally Superboy Prime has no weakness to Kryptonite, or magic for that matter. He felt the effects of K-Rad once, but that has since been retconned out.

He does have weaknesses though, primarily red sun radiation which saps his strength. He also fears speedsters and the dark, but those would be hard to utilise.

He does have a weakness to Red Sun, but he's SO immensely powerful, that being in a Red Sun, he lost his powers, and still took no damage.

Lock him in a closet and get Flash to detonate a nanite grenade.

Sounds like a job for the Indiana Jones fridge!

Also, Didact, I wanted to run a character idea by you:
Character was the target of an assassination attempt by a time manipulator who went back and killed the characters parents before he or she was conceived. Instead of erasing the character, they were simply 'removed' from existence. No historical record of their existence exists, no photos, tapes, nothing, but the character themselves did not vanish. They exist as a kind of paradox. Since they were never born then they can also never die. (See: Chuck Palahniuk's 'Rant')

The character could be killed by another person with the powers to do so, but nothing else can kill or damage them. They could jump from a plane without a parachute, hit the ground and literally get up, dust off and walk away.

Obviously a completely immortal character seems a bit OP, but I figured their main challenge would be making sure others don't die. And as I said, they could be killed by people with certain powers.

I had a character idea with similar powers. He is a failed actor who became a crook. He pulled of a bank job that went disastrously wrong, his partner getting caught and sent to the slammer, while he had to use the entire take to pay off a dirty cop. Hitting rock bottom he attempted to mug a former bronze medallist nun, being hilariously brutalised in the process. In his escape attempt from the vengeful woman of God he stumbles into the street and is hit by a bus, being killed instantly. No one mourns him.

His former partner meanwhile stews in prison, believing that the failed actor double crossed him, setting him up to take the fall while escaping with the money. The partner hears the news that the failed actor has died, becoming infuriated he has been denied his chance at revenge. While in the prison library he comes across a misplaced book about necromantic practices, and becomes obsessed with the idea of resurrecting the dead actor to punish him, and find out what he did with the loot. When he is finally released from prison he goes and performs a necromantic ritual to raise the actor from the dead. However, due to a combination of the partner's poor magical skills and the Awakening happening during a critical part of the ritual the actor returns, but not as your typical undead.

He is completely un-killable, due to being 'mostly dead' already. His body is kept in a near constant state of decomposition, and he can survive anything. The only snag is he's lazy, untrustworthy, selfish and petty. The only reason he helps the League at all is because Destiny has cast a binding spell over him.

Obviously he is more of a joke character, but I think he could introduce an interesting dynamic to the League.

So, does he have regen or not? And its a lot harder to not get hit by a nano cloud than you make it out to be. He can't hold his breath because they'll just crawl into his body anyway, and it only takes a little bit to have enough explosives to give him an aneurism. Regen makes that void, but meh. He'd have to dodge the grenade and make sure he isn't anywhere near the gas explosion. Either that or we just call batman. And if he has no regen powers, whats stopping someone from internal hemorrhaging him?

Gotta give him at least Cell levels of regen for him to not be a pushover to anyone who can cause internal damage.

Apparently he can heal from wounds instantly, according to comicvine, though to what extent I'm not sure. And even while holding his breath he can zoom into the nanites and burn them out of the air with his heat vision.

Regardless your solution, while imaginative, is extremely deliberating to just about 90% of fictional characters. Superman; nanite bomb to the lungs. Batman; nanite bomb to the lungs. Harry Potter; nanite bomb to the lungs. Goku; nanite bomb to the lungs. There would be survivors, but there wouldn't be many.

Hi, I'll be joining this if that's okay? Maybe? I'm new, I'm sorry. ^^;
However, I'm interested in using my yordle OC Bolo, and I'm not sure if you accept yordles?
If you don't know what they are, here's a link that explains them: http://leagueoflegends.wikia.com/wiki/Bandle_City
I hope that it's okay?

he is a genuine threat, every time Superboy Prime appeared in a comic book I read, I knew that someone was going to get massacred which is something that few villain can do. He has plenty of achievements, he killed Superboy, and also slaughtered 36 Green Lanterns. He beat the shit out of Ion who is even more powerful than Superman, and destroyed an entire earth in another universe. He also almost destroyed the Legion of Super Heroes. Superboy Prime is almost like a DBZ villain and tons of people like the villains of that show.

Also he did in fact achieve his goal because earth prime was recreated and he was sent back there and lost his powers. He then spends most of his time on the internet trolling the DC comics webpages and insulting the heroes. Earth Prime is our world where all of the DC heroes are comic books and there are no superheroes.

finally, Superboy Prime's fight with Sodam Yat was one of the most bad ass fights in comic book history.
