Hm, we've all made Collab posts as of now, but five is an odd number and Benji has not found and interacted with anyone as a partner. >> I wonder if anyone will find the bowtie that lay so innocently against a far wall in the ballroom...
Those gorgeous Swedes. Damnit!
EDIT: I don't know, I'll probably be writing my post now. Maybe we might be able to collab, if nobody else takes you up on the offer, eh? Though maybe Rikki might...maybe Rikki might. << I'm awful curious to see what everyone wears to this ball.
EDIT 2: Jig. That video is the best thing I've seen on the internet all day. And that's saying a lot. I think it applies to every northern-European equally, and is absolutely hilarious. xD

Happy birthday cal! I sincerely hope it is a good one!

I have corrected both inconsistencies, the first with the sunglasses and then with Rikki stepping out of the Limo last. I move in to college sunday, so I will have to get used to a new schedule soon. I'll try and get a post soon, but I don't know when just because my schedule will be so unpredictable before I get used to things. #Collegelife ya'll

For the ball, we are to assume that it is black tie correct? So tuxedos/ dinner jackets instead of suits? Also, what will happen if our character decides to mingle with the crowd to find out what is going on? Like what do you know about these people? How were you invited? etc.

P.S Biggie is fine with me lol.

Yes! Something to read, thank goodness. I believe my brain is leaking from my skull in an attempt to escape the boredom. I want to jump at the chance to collab, since Benji and Rikki are the least fancy people there, but I`m not 100% sure I`ll be available after work, and Ginger`s already making her post.

Hah! Funny post, Jig. And to everyone: no worries about who will collab with who. I think that since I won't be moving things along very much until Sunday evening or so, we have some time to spare for the dialogue and interactions to take place in the thread so anyone can jump into the conversation or hang around and whatnot.

@Biggie: Yes, black tie. And sure, you can do that. I'll just be sure to reply to you. If you want, we can just collab a little something since that wouldn't really involve any of the others.

Ok that sounds good Bliss. I'll send you some questions that my character will probably ask soonish.
Also, great post Jig. I really like our group we got going on.

Roger that. I'll be free until around 8 this evening, so I'm good for it.

And I really like our group, too! Again, many thanks to you guys for jumping in with me. You're all great writers and it is my pleasure to get to mess with you, heh.

(HOMEFINALLY) You know what I like best about our group is that we actually read and care about each others' posts. Too many times I've been in Rps where the players only really pay attention to their own posts.

WELCOME HOME, HONEY. *hug*
And I like that too! We refer to all the characters and what they've said, and that's great! I can actually relate, too many...'narcissistic' RPers, eh?
And I've committed a heresy by my descriptions and post-length please pardon me masters and mistresses.
I am forever your humble servant seeking apology because
I WROTE TOO MUCH BY ACCIDENT AND DON'T HAVE THE HEART TO SHORTEN IT.
EDIT: Oh thank goodness. ;; I thought it was too long and was panicking, whew. In other news, if anyone's looking to interact with Erika, she's all open, eh? Maybe the doctor, hm...

Preach, sister. I've encountered a lot of this during my various games here at the Guild, and I too am actually so very glad that you all really enjoy reading everyone else's posts. I made it a point to find this kind of cast at the beginning of this game, just because there would be so much still to learn about everyone's characters. So bravo to all of you kind, literate souls!

And great post, Ginger! Enjoyed reading about Erika's room, and I'm sure she's going to give everyone a shock with her transformation from earlier that day. (:

Great post Cat! May I suggest a good old fashioned vodka martini? Haha
Also would it be a good idea to provide pictures much like how Bliss has provided pictures for the npcs? I feel like it could perhaps enhance the images in our minds.

@Biggie: I think you missed when I asked before, but whereabouts in the UK is James from? It's quite important because it will affect how he and Benji interact. If you don't feel you know enough about the UK to make the call, I can help you work somewhere out based on how you want him to be perceived. :)

Ginger's post hasn't affected mine so don't worry about that. I won't really be super-free until Sunday - I'm currently not watching the television with Jig's Very Patient Partner because Jig's Very Patient Partner has put on a really not very interesting pile of nothing on.

MyCatGinger said I wonder if anyone will find the bowtie that lay so innocently against a far wall in the ballroom...

It's actually upstairs where he tried to put it on. ;)

Oops sorry Jig, I must have! James is born and raised in London. A bit stereotypical, I'm afraid. Nothing too crazy like cockney, Scotttish, Lancashire, Dorset, etc. Where is Benji from in the UK?

Which part of London? xD Doesn't matter really.
For the record, there is no 'London University' btw. There's a University of London, with several VERY distinct 'colleges' that are completely separate universities in their own right. I go to one of them and I don't even know what allegedly ties us all together. ;)

Benji's from the West Country. It's a rural area with all the stereotypes that kinda go with that and has the quintessential British 'farmer' accent - it makes people sound a bit simple or inbred, but there isn't really a stereotype that they actually are stupid.

Thank you thank you thank you everyone! <3
And haha, shaken, not stirried, Biggie. ;P
And Jig, your partner seems an interesting person, hm. >> And I didn't intend for my post to mess with yours, because I didn't know if you'd wanted it, ahaha. Let's give Rikki the opportunity. In fact, actually, I think the entire group can have a discussion about where they are at some point, and talk about themselves. Maybe if the mansion has a terrace, someone invites everyone up there and the smokers can take a smoke and there can be a little bonfire where you (safely!) burn stuff and the five can have a conversation unbeknownst to the manner...but obviously one known to Bliss. << I don't know, just to get their bearings, eh?
As a note, as of this point 4/5 writers are on, yay!
And Flavia, I suffer the SAME thing. :c I can never find a picture...sigh.

EDIT: Egads, such foolishness on our part! I know of the Veterinary College there, which I plan on attending at some point in time because school here can be horribly long, we've got 13 years of education not including kindergarten I think, and a search on London University redirected there. It's all just a bunch of different colleges tied together for no real reason? >> Interesting.

Aw, I would love photo images! Finding the picture appearance of my characters literally takes me forever because I enjoy it (way) too much. Since I consider myself a visual person, it really adds to the story for me to be able to see who or what I'm talking to. But if you'd rather not, don't feel pressured! The descriptions you guys write is more than fine by me.

The Sims4 character creator is a free download demo atm. It's not super-realistic, but on the whole, if you want to build a character, that's probably the best way of creating a made-to-measure character that looks realistic without actually being able to art.

I thought it was informally known as London University? So kind of how over here we have the "University of Michigan" but everyone just calls it Michigan University cuz' you know... humans be lazy ;)
And my mistake. I knew there were different schools for it. But I wasn't sure which one James would be studying at so I just referred to it all as London University.

In terms of which part of London, James lives in Westminster, but I haven't really decided yet on where he was raised. Is London kind of like New York City where you have the Brooklyn Accent, Bronx, Manhattan, etc?

Also West Country... so like Lancashire, Liverpool, Wales? Forgive me, I'm not familiar with all the regions. Which constitute West country?

Nah, I go to a University of London uni, but I say which one I go to. I've never said "I go to University of London". It's Kings College London (King's), University College London (UCL), or London School of Economics (LSE) but there are others that are London-based, just not officially University of London. James probably goes to one of he first two as a medic, and unless his parents are MEGA-LOADED, it's not likely he lives in Westminster. Source: I pretty much can't afford to live in London and my parents give me a lot of support. Westminster is dead central and has the expense that goes with it.

London's huge and has lots of accents, yeah, but I don't know them well. I don't know them super-well, but there's generic posh-sounding, cockney, and saaaff landan (South London). You're probably best with 'generic posh' xD

The West Country is, yeah, no, not the places you mentioned :P. Bristol, Exeter, Devon, Cornwall. The Southwest of the country, basically.
