Candies are fine.
I think double post has something to do with the site.

I cannot guarantee that I will be able to respond to any roleplay twice a week. In fact, I have enough trouble trying to keep up with one post a week. Thusly, I would be most joyful if a turn took a full week.

I'm fine with any of the choices.

Still, I must ask to reconsider on the stance of the funny hat.Think of the children.

Well I can reply very often but im fine with a slow phased game as long as it does not die. But gm I'd like to ask you about my characters equipment and what you would seem resonable. I mean my character is able to craft magical items, at least that is what I have in mind but can I start with any or do you want me to make those in game? And also how important is it that we note all of our equipment? even the minor things like backpacks, tents or other necessary things one could need while traveling?

Loremaster, just for you, I edited Zimnis's Character Sheet. I hope you're happy, because Zimnis won't enjoy the extra hassle on clothes-washing day... Harumph. No, but really, you made a good point, so I think it would be neat to keep the hat.

Nyan, the characters will be on a huge boat right off the bat, so travelling supplies aren't that important. Or so I think... 0.o

Well considering we might not spend the entire adventure on that boat having supplies that one could need while traveling on land could still be useful. And then we also have stuff like food and stuff. But really it all depends on how the gm wants to do it. I think it adds a bit to the whole roleplaying aspect if one wants to keep track of your characters health, looks and that type of stuff. I cant imagine you will smell very well if you never take a shower through the course of several weeks of traveling. We all might just smell as bad as the undead guy at the end of this xD (He might still smell worse but still xD)

Crafting magical items I would say you can have some at the start, but if you want them to have magical effects you will have to wait to have them enchanted at a magical area.

It is best if you note all of your equipment, you can have tents and knapsacks if you want. But remember you will be a lot more cumbersome and so fighting would be harder. You can rough it in some places if you like, but you will probably be near a town wherever you go.
You can always buy things in game anyway if you forget something.

Nonono, Nyan, you missed my point. On a ship, supplies are loaded on board in crates and barrels beforehand, usually by the captain. No single man could regularly carry enough supplies to last an entire boat-ride, considering how far boats tend to go, and how many stops they usually make. All you really need to take with you onto a boat is weaponry in case of an attack, maybe fishing gear, some kind of music or entertainment, and a few personal supplies, if you deem it necessary.

My point of uncertainty lay in whether or not the characters decide to keep their travelling gear in the sleeping or cargo rooms below deck. It would be more logical to sell it for a few extra gold before going on the ship ride to get more supplies, then buy new gear once they get off the boat on the other end of the journey. If you really, really love that one backpack your mother gave you, or that super awesome tent which never seems to leak, I guess it's important enough to list in your inventory.

CURSE YOU SOLAMELIKE! Lol, you posted a response before I did. Now the supply and demand of information is killing this post's value...

Uh what exactly do you mean? I can have magical items at the start...but they cant be magical? o-o" Also I thought that perhaps to justify any magical trinkets I carry the island where he lives is a magical area in of it self.

You would have to mention what they do.... and I may allow or not allow certain ones...

Solam, my reasoning still applies. If they're just getting off the boat, they'll have the same supplies they had before they got off. And before they got off the boat, they got on the boat, with the same supplies. Whether or not we act out our characters sitting around on a boat won't change that fact.

Also, shiny crystal ring of +20 to skill rolls. GG

Okay ill write up the magical items I have in mind here before I add them to my inventory.

Merry poppins bag: The name says it all but for those who do not know its a bag that can hold larger objects without increasing its weight, placing them in a small pocket dimension of sorts. (Or in other terms its like a handy heavesack or a bag of holding) You may limit this how you desire but i'd like to have one. And possibly be able to increase its capacity as time goes on.

Mana storing trinket: I had in mind of something like a ring or another peice of jewelry that is able to store unused mana for later use (Lets say I spend a day without casting spells) and so I can store the mana I have left in to the item and use that the next day.

Magical clothing: Basicly fancy clothing (like on the picture I have) But is enchanted to provide protection from harm so its strong as either leather or steel (depending on how strong you would allow it to be) Basicly I only want fancy clothing that still provides protection.

Mana/health potions: Self explanatory. Since you allowed the gnome candies I'd want some of such things of my own ^^ How much mana or hp they give you can decide

Magical sword: There are lots of enchantments i'd like to have but to start with I'd like to ask for a simple enchantment for it to be able to fly in to my hand via like a gesture, word or thought.

Magical camp: A tent that sets up itself and a fireplace which burns with magical fire. Nesseseties for cooking, alchemy and other minor things one could need. Planning in the future to upgrade the tent in to a portal to a mansion of sorts xP

I was thinking along the same lines as Nyan's mana storing trinket when I thought of Zimnis's staff crystal and his puppets. I was also thinking that he could make more of his candies as he finds certain herbs in his travels, herbs which are not used for mana or health potions, but are combined to make a weaker and tastier effect.

Ok let me see...

Merry poppins bag -
Her name is Mary poppins for starters... unless that was on purpose :p
And I will allow this, only one per group though so you are the only one. The inside is the 1metre by 1metre (3 feet by 3 feet for you American folk)

Mana storing trinket.
I will allow, it may store up to 2 mana

Magical clothing -
As strong as leather.
Allowed

Mana/health potions
A single one of each, that fills 5 mana or health (The candies only replenish one mana or health)

Magical sword:
The enchantment is allowed.

Magical camp
I will allow with this one downfall.
As the Magical campfire must be kept magical, you can not use mana/magic whilst it is in effect (As you are using your own magic/mana to keep it 'real' )
it will not actually deplete mana, but as your magical ability is occupied keeping the magical tent and fire going you can not do other magic.

Your call if you want it or not.
You can always possibly buy one in the future.

@Icicle - The staff can have the same effect as mana storing trinket above.

Perfect! I have a few more items that i'd like to ask for as well. You may stop me if you feel it gets a bit to much. I can always craft any of these items myself later.

Elvish rope: If anyone has watched lord of the rings (who hasn't?) you may remember the rope that is strong to hold people but when you gently tug on it, it will untie itself from whatever object it was tied to.

Elvish waybread: One bite of this bread is enough to fill a grown mans stomach (again, a lord of the rings reference) How many I have and how long they will last is up to you gm. Very good to have if we do not have time to cook something over the fire.

uhh then there are tons of like minor things that I cant really specify but like they are in the back of my head xD So if I bring out any small magical trinket during the game you can stop me if its something that I would not have.

EDIT: Oh now I remember. Magical quiver: I thought about first a quiver that basicly contains 1 arrow but multiplies it as I draw it out. But in case that is op having unlimited arrows I could instead take a quiver that works like the magical bag. in like it can fit more arrows than it looks to be able to do.

You can have some normal rope and bread but I think we are getting overboard here :P
You will be able to buy things in game remember...
