In order to fool the knight, there man ripped open the skin on his side when the knight wasn't looking. "What? Can you not see this?! I'm going to die..." Panic sets over him.
Castitas is the first to treat this wound. "It's alright sir, I've got it." She heals the wound with her magic, not even leaving a scar. "I'm sure my friend here was in such a hurry to help you he just missed it." She smiles at Markus to tell him it's okay.
The man smiled, taking Castitas' attention from the knight. "How can I ever repay a Goddess?"
Castitas blushes. "I'm no Goddess, you must be mistaken-" The man interrupted. "-I've never seen such beauty and elegance before!"
Castitas blushes harder. "Thank you, how kind. I'm Castitas."
"Susurri, my lady." He kisses his hand, his scruff tickling her soft skin.

Markus eyed the man suspiciously, how did that wound appear? He didn't see a wound there before. He sighed shaking his head slightly, the knight didn't know what was going on, but he didn't like it one bit. Then the man started getting flirtatious with the priestess, Markus wanted nothing but to beat the man senseless, but he knew Castitas would not approve. "Alright, can we quit the flirtation? We need to get this man some shelter. We cannot help him further." The knight wanted this man to be far away from him and the young priestess, he didn't like him and not just because he was getting touchy with Castitas, this man gave Markus an uneasy feeling, but he didn't know why.

Susurri's features had saddened. "Can you at least point me towards La Luz Fortaleza? I'm a pilgrim and I'm traveling to all the temples for their blessing... My family was killed a few days ago."
Castitas's heart stopped, she felt sorry for the man and it brought bad memories back. "I'm afraid the city is destroyed. The temple there was my home."
The man look shocked. "I-I'm so sorry... Look, Ser Knight is right, I shouldn't burden you."
"No, you should at least come with us until the next town." She felt like she needed to help this man, whatever the cost. She turned to Markus. "Surely it won't kill us if we allow him to travel with us." She touched Markus' hand. "Please?"

Markus sighed looking at Castitas, he glanced at the man and pulled the priestess to the side, to speak to her in private, "Look, I know you want to help this man, but I don't trust him. That wound you healed was not there before, I know I couldn't have missed it." He sighed knowing that no matter what he said the young girl would win. "Alright fine, but I'm going to keep an eye on him. The exact moment he does something I don't like, he gets left behind." His expression became slightly firm, "That is the only way that man is traveling with us... Okay?" He placed a hand on her shoulder and his face had a softer look to it, "I know it sound harsh, but I'm worried. We don't know if he is telling the truth or not..... I just don't want anything bad to happen."

Castitas hugged him, kissing him on the cheek. "It will be fine. Thank you."
Susurri eavesdropped as he cleaned himself up. That prick thinks he owns the priestess's heart? We'll see about that...
Castitas goes to the man to help him up, accidentally ripping his shirt to see his toned muscles underneath.
"Oh goodness! I'm terribly sorry..." Castitas blushed as she apologized to the man.
"Don't worry, my lady, it was an honest mistake.” He removes his shirt completely.
"I’m sure I can barter with a tailor to fix it when we get to a town."

Markus sighed in irritation, "Alright, let's move. You," He pointed to the man, "You are walking in the front so I can keep my eye on you." He gathers his stuff and stands close to Castitas, waiting for everyone to get ready.

Castitas helped the man gather himself before standing close to Markus. She wondered why Markus didn't trust this man? Maybe he was just worried she'd get attacked again. She smiled at the man and gave a nod to tell him it was going to be okay.
It had already turned to night as they traveled along the road, Castitas walking hand in hand with the knight.
Susurri looked back at the two, his face looked like a neglected puppy. Castitas' tender heart couldn't bare to see him like that but she remained at Markus' side to avoid angering him and losing Susrri’s chance of safe travel.
“Shouldn’t a town beep ahead? We are getting close to the wastelands…"

Markus shot a glare at the man as he glanced back at the two. He knew it was difficult for Castitas to watch the man in his current state, but it was for her safety, even though she probably couldn't see that. He felt bad to but her through this, but he had to. "The town right on the boarder of the wastelands if I recall correctly." He looked over at the priestess and sighed, gently squeezing her hand and whispered to her, "It'll be okay, I know it seems like I'm being harsh, but we don't know anything about this man."

Castitas smiled sweetly at the knight. "It will be okay, I understand your concern.... It's just... he lost his family and He is not as lucky as I to have someone to keep from being lonely..." She kissed Markus' neck, Blushing at her own actions. "We at least have each other."
Susurri shouted at the duo behind him as they approached the up coming town, demonic spirits flew around, Banshee scatter the streets attacking randomly, a giant hydra, who nests at the entrance, slithers into the orphanage, eating the children.

Markus looked toward the town in horror, "Damn it! We're going to have to turn around and find another way." He grabbed the man by the back of his neck and dragged him along as they found a safe place to stay. He tossed the man gently to the ground, not wanting to be overly harsh in front of Castitas. "We're going to have to stay here, it's already late, so I'll set up the campfire," He looked at the priestess, "If you would, could you set up bed rolls and the food?" Then he looked at the man, "And you, just stay there and don't move." And with that Markus when to work on a campfire.

The moment that Markus turned his back on Castitas, Sussuri took the sun pendant out, walking over to Castitas. "M'Lady?" He whispered to not arouse Markus' attention. "I wish to repay you for the good deed you have done for me." He shows her the pendant that reflects the moonlight.
Castitas shakes her head. "I can't accept this... you've lost too much already."
"Please..." Tears formed at the corner of the man's eyes. Castitas could resist. "Alright, don't let Markus see you..."
Susurri fastened the necklace around Castitas' neck, smirking devilishly at her. "Just let it adjust to you..."
"Wha-?" The necklace felt like it was choking her, she stopped breathing, the sun pendent grew into a grotesque looking moon and started talking to her in a strange language. Her eyes clamped shut as she struggled against this dark spell.
She stopped her struggle as if nothing ever happened.
Susurri walked around her, his grin wolfish and jagged, “You will obey me, as your new Master…” He lifted her chin to look at her. “…And a new lover.”
Castitas’ eyes were unfocused, her skin was pale and her lips colourless.
“Yes… my love.”
Susurri, pleased with his work, kissed her.

Markus finished the campfire and looked over at Castitas to see if she had set everything up when he saw a horrifying sight. The man was kissing the priestess. Markus couldn't hold back that rage that filled him, suddenly changing his eyes to a demonic red hue. The energy flowing through him due to this anger was much more intense than before, so much more so that it started to mutate his physical body structure. His fingers sharped to points turning them into claws, horns sprouted from his forehead, his skin darkened to a phantom grey colour, his teeth sharpened into fangs, and large demonic wings grew from his back. He stood, now in his full demonic form, and shot towards the man, lifting him up by his neck and holding him in the air, "What the hell do you think you're doing!" His voice was dark and filled with hatred. Every time he spoke it sounded as if a legion of demons spook at once. And slowly but surly his grip on the mans throat tightened.

"Let him go!" Castitas' voice was loud but monotoned. "This man completes me!" Castitas shot light into Markus' eyes, not only blinding him, but herself. "You will release this poor man!" She rubbed her eyes, feeling rage take on her own heart.

As Castitas spoke, Markus stopped everything. The pain he felt inside was so much that he didn't even react to being blinded by her. He dropped the man and after he regained his sight, looked over at the priestess. Pain in his eyes, yet anger filled his heart. His red eyes were fixed on Castitas for a few minutes until they dropped, staring at the ground, "After all I've done for you....... All we've been through...... and after you said to my face, that you loved me... You are choosing this man?" Markus sighed he looked at his grey skinned, claw like hands, "Who would love a monster anyway." He looked upon the priestess face before saying the last couple words that he thought he would never say, "Goodbye, Castitas." He turned and walked far enough away so that the two could no longer see him. When he got far enough he broke down, tears falling from his face as he dropped to his knees, repetitively slamming his fist into the ground.

When Markus was out off view, Castitas' face had gone lifeless.
"Good girl. Poor heartbroken fool... He will surely get eaten alive by the monsters that mother set into this world." Susurri laughs, turning towards his new puppet. "Now... Mother will be expecting you..." He grabs the priestess's arm harshly, dragging her limp body along side him.

A swarm of Banshee spread from the nearby town as they neared, heading in Markus' Direction.
