Oh, congratulations Prince.
*Applauds*

And ha, interesting. Sounds like a cool roleplay.
And I'm in the process of creating a new character! Though it might be haulted till later due to having things to accomplish.

@Prince: I type a lot indeed. As for blocks of text ... eh, matter of preference? I, oppositely, tend to dislike when people double-enter every two-three short sentences, since it is simply too disjointed (I actually had that problem with the first part of your CS ... I accidentally skipped over a line at least twice).
What I sorely find lacking, however, is the ability to properly indent paragraphs (as you can typically see being done in books), or at least use multiple spaces, both of which the forum bars me from doing. I do not want to go for the double-enter approach, since it looks bad and makes things awfully fragmented, and I simply cannot make the beginning of the paragraphs properly indented. Oh tab-key, how do I miss thee...
(I've sometimes gone as far as to insert '_ _ _' in the beginning of each paragraph, and simply coloring those the same as the forum's background, but can't really do it here now that we cannot even do colored text...)

Oh, and congrats on your new position!

@Jack: I will say it again - pretty much all people I know have found university far more relaxed and less stressful than high school, myself included (and that has held true for the upper end of Estonian, UK and US universities alike). Some even took up the activities they had dropped after entering high school just because they couldn't keep up anymore again ... since yeah, they suddenly had the time for it once more.

And so Angoriel has been entered... Elynne seems to quite like him, though she frankly does not have a good idea what he thinks of her. (I've been filling out her relationship chart to get a better impression of her personality through it.)

@AkiBlue: Shien's good. That's what I am usually called in the places where I go by this username.

@Bunnita: Celleci will be the same no more? Hrm...

@SweetCinderella: Shall I port my CS to the thread right away, or should I finish it here first?
(...I might end up needing three posts for it. Oh dear.)

@Everyone: feel free to take a look at Elynne's relationship chart; if there are any discrepancies between what kind of relationship I imagined they might have (at least on Elynne's part) and what you consider realistic, let me know.

Shienvien finish your character sheet here first, then imported it
I'm eager to read her complete character sheet...

Also, couldn't you merely indent, like so?
Or am I completely off topic?

I dwell in the world of aesthetics and visual design. I have terrible, god-awful handwriting, but my writing itself has been decent throughout my life. A teacher, a very good one at that, once told me, "You could write the world's best novel, but no one would care if they could barely read it"

Information, regardless of quality, is made pointless it reading it becomes more of a chore. The spacing, pacing and placement of words and writing are just as important as the actual content. When I write "disjoint"ly as you say, it is to separate thoughts. For instance, the first portion of Antoine's CS is meant to be dialogue between him and Malignitas, and the structure reflects that. Later on, there is a poem in a fairly simple, couplet rhyme scheme.

However, after that, as you see, major paragraphs are wrote out in greater length, normally 4-6 sentences with 10-20 words. Admittedly, I would play around more with spacing, as I believe that single, double and no spacing add texture to paragraphs, but the current formatting only allows for the indention of entire lines of text, not a simple, actual indent. I would digress, however, and say that my single-space method of posting is really meant to make my paragraphs look clean and concise. Also, there are quite a few factors, such as paragraph pace, personal discussion, scene description, etc. that influence my paragraph structure and length.

Anyway, I'm not really harping on you. You're quite right in the fact it's personal preference. If I had a single request for anyone, it would be to indent every other paragraph and single space between each one, but that is because I personally read it better that way in lieu of not having a proper indent function. I don't actually go as far as requesting that because how you write, as long as its quality is on par with the prerequisites, is up to you. I like to change up my sentence and paragraph structure on a whim, so being tethered down would bother me. In any case, single-spacing each paragraph is nice and helps flow. It's just a visual thing. I don't mean to make it sound like a lecture or something, but I'm sure I am.

@SweetCinderella: Alright, then finished it shall be before being posted in the thread; just bits and pieces missing now. I may post the biography in another place in the OoC (somewhere onwards from here), for I fear it would not fit in the CS-post there.

Indents, sadly, cannot be added to a single line without the different widths of different screens causing it sometimes be just half a line
line indented, sometimes several lines at once... I tried, I did.

If I just added it before the text? It breaks!

@Prince: Terrible handwritings is why we have keyboards, no?

(And yeah... Can argue over aesthetics all day, but never get anywhere. I'll take a massive block of text over one that has been chopped to tiny pieces any day ... since as noted, I find it physically hard and rather distracting from the content to follow chopped-up texts.)

Edit: For now, I felt motivated enough to find the dumbest solution possible to my lack of tab function problem: tiny images that are just blank rectangles. Lots and lots of tiny blank rectangles. Will not bother with them in the OoC, but I will include them in character sheets and the IC.

You can't place text beside pictures, thus a box like that would be irrelevant.

I may have had a similar idea.

I, however, contest this notion. For you see, I managed to successfully convince the forum to allow text next to an image, and can easily demonstrate it...
However, the forum sees the image as being on a single line only, and as such, only one line of text can be next to the image - all other lines of text will be pushed after the image (which is kind of what I want to achieve here - a single longer space on one line that will push all text following it onwards by its width). Just in case someone has their window large enough or the text small enough for it to come across as one line rather than several, here is some more text to hopefully make it into several lines.
My transparent box is two pixels tall and thirty pixels wide, for the record.

Finally picked up on the italicized hint. I'm getting Indian food in a bit, so I'll try and get a little anime afterwards and write Glandrëch's character sheet (I won't be playing as him at any point in time, so I could just PM you all of it, Cindy).

...(At the same time it'd be very likely that other demons would have heard of Glandy before, so it would probably be best to post it here)

(One more thing before I go: I changed several things in my character sheet, the most notable being the time at which my character arrived at the carnival and the amount of souls he collected. I did this both so I could build relationships with other characters more naturally, and so I could grow accustomed to the world at the same pace that my character is)

I personally like the concept. Before I would approve her, and admittedly I would, I'd request a slightly more detailed idea of how powerful her "nearly-impossible-to-break" thread is. For instance, is it just tough because its empowered by necrotic magic? If so, there is no basis or relation to necromancy in this roleplay yet so I'd have to ask miss Cinderella some questions. You're basically creating, from what I've see, the first use of necromancy in the roleplay, so this is a great opportunity. However, I'd like to establish the weaknesses and strengths of necromancy. For instance, could angelic light purify it? Is it considered unholy or unnatural? Or, is it just another form of magic performing yet another otherwise impossible feat? In any case, is the necromancy any stronger than regular necromancy? For instance, could someone burn through it or fry it?

A lot of that can really be overlooked and most likely created later; I would just like what your personal input and desires for the character and magical parameters to be.

Secondly, I think the dolls are really cool! But, I'd like to know where they came from. Did she make them? Does she have the power to do that kind'a stuff? If so, cool! List it. If not, did she meet them somehow? Or, were they created with her? Oh, and the last thing was to what degree of control could the Soul Threads perform? Could they like, bam, control anyone in the circus? I'm just wondering. For instance, could she be like, Bam, Soul Thread on Malignitas, and thus help Antoine control his desires? Or, does she have an actual limit? If so, is the limit based on raw power, or would the limit be based on willpower, such as that of the pure hatred and malice found within Malignitas.

For the most part, I love the character and I'd say she's acceptable. I'd just like a wee bit more information.

Well, I'm all for her approval. Since miss Cinderella didn't actually label whatever I can do as Co-GM, I guess it's best to err on the safe side until she does. Detailing out some of the common classes of magic is on my to-do list, so it's really nice to see you putting in some staples for Necromancy. :D

AkiBlueBlue! Robin be exceedingly cute and adorable… Lovable!
Thanky Thank you for elucidation on the extent of her puppetry and her dolls.
I think considering her powers stems from threads and her ability to manipulation such things a detailed explanation of the necromancy is unnecessary – it’s not your power it’s merely an explanation of the powers origin. So long as any ‘hidden talents’ that surface within the story revolve around her stitching, needles and threads and not necromancy since that’s is a completely different power. Considering our history within the previous Carnival, I trust you anyway. Even more so I know for a fact that you’d run any ‘hidden talents’ past me first, ones that may appear dominant.
Love! Love her!
Post her in the other thread when you get a chance..

Sir Prince! I shall be responding to you within due time
I be altering such things…

First off, CaughtInTheRiddle, your human is a Secondary Character
I meant in terms of Main Characters
In addition, your human is basically a toy for Andracos to use and you know it – I can use her as I see fit - as opposed to endeavouring to defile another roleplayers character.

Thank you~ She has been posted and ready to be played out. No worries at all, necromancy is just the origin. The manipulation itself is what truly matters.

Also congratulations!

@SweetCinderella: Would you rather I entered something hastily-made to stand in for image now, and swapped it out for a good-looking one later on, or should I leave it blank for now altogether for the time being? I will be stationed away from home for a week, and hence I may just have only a laptop, a notebook (computer, not paper one) and a mouse in the way of things to draw with, which ain't ideal.

Else, the CS is almost complete; will just have to add Robin to the relationship chart, write out personality, fighting style and finish her biography, and I am good. Will be posting biography separate, since by now it is apparent that it will not fit intactly into either of the pre-existing posts, and I don't really want to split it.

A toy for Andracos? Oh dear, I predict that a couple of characters will want to murder him more than ever... For a character, after all, there are no mains, secondaries, and NPCs - there are only people they know and have relations with.
(Speaking of which, are mains expected to die outside of player absences (with the player knowing/agreeing, of course)? Since I am more used to RPs in which characters can go up against too powerful opponents or piss the other played characters off enough for them to team up against them and overpower said character.)

I might later on make a werewolf and demon secondaries of my own, just cause.
