Kasai panted as he flew through the nether. He glanced behind him, but through his eyes forward again when he saw that they were still tracking him. They were a group of blazes called the Fier Heds. They were awful at spelling, and even worse at playing nice. And they had decided that Kasai would be their next target.
As he flew, he thought of ways to get away. Obviously he could fight them, they were all much bigger than he was, and there were more of them. He couldn't outlast them, as they were much tougher. He'd have to rely on wit, something the Fier Heds didn't have.
Kasai's eyes scanned the nether as he flew, looking for something to duck behind, maybe a small crevice, that the Fier Heds wouldn't notice. Then he spotted his chance. He took a sharp turn and shot into a small tunnel leading off from the large lava cavern. He ducked into a hole, and peeked his head out. Would they find him? Luck was with him, and he could here their whoops and laughs as they passed by.
The blaze sighed in relief, and floated onto the ground. He rested for a bit, almost not believing that he had gotten away from the dreaded Fier Heds. After a moment, he flew up again, and faced where the tunnel lead. He began to get curious. He had never explored one of these small tunnels before, he had always lived in the very large cavern holding the lava sea.
He made his way through the tunnel, but made sure to be extra cautious. He didn't know what to expect. He heard a weird sound coming from somewhere ahead, something alien. It made a sort of Woooeeeoooeeoeooeoeoeh! sound. A purple light was cast upon the tunnel walls. He ducked down, and crawled towards it. It looked like some strange door frame with a swirling purple door. Except it was just in the middle of the cavern. It didn't lead anywhere.
Kasai floated to his feet and looked at it, confused. What kind of ghastly creation was this? And where did it come from? It didn't look like anything he had ever seen before. He approached it carefully, and reached out his hand to touch the whirling mass of purple light, when...
FLASH!
Kasai blinked his eyes and looked around, scared. He was in some sort of tunnel made up of some sort of gray block.
