Hello, I'm looking for a partner who would be interesting in a Fairy Tale meets new era type roleplay.

Something I've really had in mind lately was a twist on the Little Red Riding Hood Era. Looking to play Little Red, but instead of the normal damsel in distress she was going to be a monster hunter, after the ultimate prize; 'The Big Bad Wolf'. Looking for somebody with good roleplaying skills. I'm not asking for a five-course meal here, but just your basic meat and potatoes. Give me something to hold on to and give right back. Lol.

I'm also open to any ideas. Wanna make a whole world of classic Fairy Tales with new twists? I've got a few cards up my sleeve. Give me what you got, I always love chewing on a new idea. =)

Yes, there was a book by Roald Dahl called revolting rhymes. We can make our own thou two. I think do weird, gore and suggestive.

Hello I saw you liked Gore and fairy tales. Well while the little red riding hood one is good, I think I have a better one.

Have you ever read the old version of sleeping beauty. The Prince finding her asleep doesn't wake her but well just to say one of her twins sucked on her finger getting the straw out. Things when did she have twins... think about it for a second.

Ariel instead of getting her Prince melts into seafoam or the version were Ariel was the wicht who had the help of the viscous woman.

Cinderella, sleeping beauty, Pocahontas, Ariel, snow white, rose red what happened to her why isn't she included in most story's. I know a lot of childhood stories that grounded childhood for other children.

Well those were all Brother's Grimm Tales. They were actually created as stories to frighten children.
In Cinderella the step-sisters cut their toes off to make the glass slipper fit.

And Snow White married the Prince and left her sister Rose Red behind.

I want to take the old fables and make them scary. I want somebody to roleplay with me about it. Lol!

How about a twisted version of The Boy Who Drew Cats?
I know it's already a bit gory, or references it with the bloody cats.

But instead, the boy draws demons and monsters? And they come to life, terrorize the village and whatnot?

I enjoy the idea of this.

Recently, I have taken to looking at, and exploring darker themes in my own writing, so this would be right up my alley. It would depend really, on how dark you were looking to go. Were you thinking of adding things like incest and rape in to make them extremely dark, or were you thinking of only gore?

Speaking of Fables, "The Wolf Among Us" took a lot of Fables and turned them dark. It was actually based on the comic, Fables.

I'm not sure specifically what tale you are looking at - and I guess for 1x1 input from both parties would be required.

You mentioned Red Riding Hood above - what would make it gory?

High five to Pastel Moon! You understand!!

Oooh, I love Fables. That is suuuuch a good comic series.
And I'm not into the rape and incest part, it definitely does make a damn good twist though. I just would prefer my character not to be a part of it. Back characters, though, I could care less about.
I want her to be a monster hunter after the Big Bad Wolf who is like the leader of a werewolf pack who kill people for sport. Something like that, I need a bit of collaborative help on it though.
