Bio:
Jacob was born on the human colony of Danthos, one of the few planets that bore any semblance to Earth. Jacob was known in their small middle-class neighborhood as a 'hyperactive bundle of adrenaline' that squealed and leapt all over the house and the culprit of elaborate pranks at school. Despite his relatively low conduct grade, the teachers had to admit that Jacob was a bright boy. Jacob had excellent physical fitness, an aptitude for numbers, a quick wit and a talent for the guitar. During his high school years, he started his own parkour club and frequently got himself in trouble for running around on campus rooftops. However, all of this did not bar Jacob from gaining admittance to one of Danthos' Tier 1 flight schools.
Jacob graduated flight school with flying colors and eligibility to command whole commercial passenger spaceships. He got a job with Nova Spacelines Incorporated piloting bulky passenger ships, but was soon dismissed after six months because of complaints from customers that he was far too reckless with the vessel. Jake briefly considered the possibility of becoming a musician, but disregarded the idea. One day however, a talent scout came to Jacob bearing news that he was specially recruiting him for the SSA Military Academy.
Jacob first knew the rigors of discipline and physical perfection - hundreds of push-ups and ever-barking commanders took a toll on him. He was soon transferred to the SSA Flight Academy - some said he was overqualified, but the talent scout recruited him for the Elite SSA Fighter Force: the most difficult-to-get-in branch of the Intergalactic Navy and something that even Jacob's qualifications just barely touched. Jacob first got his hands piloting sleek and fast fighters quelling the short-lived rebellions of merchant starships in the midst of the galaxy. Then after that, he piloted drop ships and gave supporting fire to ground troops battling alien threats on the outermost fringes of the galaxy, particularly during the Battle of Gadrariva where he saved two ground squads from almost immediate doom and was commended for his heroism. Jacob soon began to relieve his hyper side. Subsequently, the SSA Armed Forces gave Jacob control over one of the largest ships of the navy, a cruiser ship - very much akin to the Legion's End. During his brief two-week bond with the thing, he was very much pleased to find out that Sgt. Xenon was his co-pilot - they were very close friends ever since Jacob joined the force and they still get together often. Jacob finally reached the end of his military service during the Battle of Sarion, where Jacob's cruiser ran out out of ammo. In a last desperate attempt to defeat the alien opposition, Jacob rammed his cruiser into the opposing starship, downing it successfully but costing twenty million galactic credits in damage. Doctors also later diagnosed Jacob's right ankle to have been permanently handicapped in the incident - he could run, but overindulgence in physical activities would render him useless. He was court-martialed obviously, and found guilty of damaging military property, but he was awarded a Medal of Valor and left the Elitr Fighter Force with honor. By Elite SSA Fighter Force standards, Jacob was unqualified to serve their particular branch. Jacob's superiors recommended he get a desk job in the normal Intergalactic Navy, but Jacob refused and said that he'd never give up piloting until he was old or dead. Thus, he was recommended by the SSA Armed Forces to the Crimson Legion - they accepted him on terms that he would not put himself at risk by engaging in extended ground combat - an order that Jacob still secretly resents to this day.
Jacob is still relatively new to the Legion and has only been transferred to this particular cell a week ago.
