There was a ping and then a data screen showed the DNA strand of both samples. The triple helix desplayed on both samples were merged and points of common were hilighted. Soon the screen showed a percentage match. 100% is what the number was. " well that solves that. Dr. Scez if you have seen the bounties on me and have done nothing to sell me out I see no reason that you should not be allowed to keep the DNA sample of mine you have. Just please purge it from all records if ever this station is compromised. Other than that you are good to go for now." Shadow turned and tapped the wall panel that connected him to the speaker system. " this is shadow head of this station. I'm holding a meeting in the cafateria. This meeting is to form the surface team that will come with me to the planet. All who want to come please be in the cafeteria in the next 20 minutes." He signed off and turned to opal " you will be on the away team with me. I need someone that has guard skills with us and taking the head of security would be a poor plan but a friend who is a guard is a good idea and you fall nicely into the second option. A friend who is a guard. Will you join us?"

Sammy heard the annulment and smiled her first mission on another planet that could be fun. Hurrying up her bun she ran down the halls to the cafeterria.

Jason walked back to office. He finalized his reports and sent them as well as a written version. He finished when another man came in. "The shipments are here and they need your signature." Jason sighed and got up from his desk. He and the man walked out to the loading area. Jason grabbed the data pad. "Make sure everything is accounted for. I wouldn't want to lose anything." Jason waited for the others to check and everything was in order. Jason gave his signature and handed the data pad over. He then looked at the person that was in charge of inventory. "We are all stocked now correct? The station has what it needs?" The man nodded in reply. Jason left the area and proceeded to the training room. He heard something over an intercom about a mission. "They will be fine without me."

Opal nods. "Yes sir. Of course I will, sir." She says, smiling, her tail wagging happily. "How many people are you looking to be with us on this mission?" She asks, cocking her head. She wasn't sure if a lot of people would be a good idea, as it would be hard to track a lot of people. She smiled a bit more as she recalled Shadow calling her a friend. She was quite happy at that.

" i was thinking of a maximum of 3 other people going with me. you make one so now i need 2 more people." shadow put his hand on her shoulder and said " before we leave i think you should come with me to the armory and we can see if there is anything you want to use to upgrade your weapon. if there is i will make sure you get it." he then walked with her to the cafeteria. they stood in front of the room where he was going to give the speech. he saw there were only two other people in the room and smiled. waiting to see if anyone else would join them.

Scez nodded and listened to what he had to say. He smiled. "Thank you. The DNA will make research much easier. And I have made it so that all personel data is deleted from the system if something goes wrong, to avoid any personel information getting leaked." he turned back to his desk and began working on his other things as they left. He would stay on the ship while they went on the mission.

when no one else came he started his speech." hello thank you all for coming here. i'm glad to say that within the day we will be going to the surface of the planet that we are orbiting. i'm calling on you guys to come with me and Opal. we will be bringing all the materials we can to see if it can help further our races. thank you all for showing up. those that are ready to come with us to the planet please come forth and sign up."

The statement that Shadow had to make was more interesting than Ilham thought it would be. He hadn't been on a mission in a long time, and this could be a good opportunity. He stood up, walking over to them and signing up. He hadn't had much interaction with either of the two, but it wouldn't matter.

Shadow smiled when he signed up. He had seen this one working on the station but had never stopped to talk with him. " thank you for joining this mission its going to be a journey and I hope we can all get to know each other better." He said happily.

"I'm sure it'll be interesting." He replied, a bit surprised to see him happy over such a simple action. Of course, it would have been nice to know more specifics of the mission, but at the same time Ilham didn't mind only being told the bare basics.

Sammy walked up and signed the sheet.

" top mechanic at your service Sr. " She said before whipping back her head and walking about down to her seat.

"Okay we have our team. We will go rest up and take a shuttle to the planet in the morning" shadow said smiling at the all.

Opal had followed Shadow into the room, and watched, smiling, her tail swishing behind her. "I'm heading to the armoury. And then, I have something I need to finish." She says to Shadow, before turning and jogging to the armoury. After the quick jog, she puts her weapon on a table, and after a quick look around she picks up a piece of paper and a pencil. She begins to draw diagrams, and write things in the Zenohunt language. After a few minutes, she grabs a lazer cutter, and cuts the barrel out of the weapon, removing the clip at the same time. She then grabs some very soft but very strong material, placing it on the table. Cutting the barrel down to a very small length, she attaches it on, as well as a tiny firing system. She cuts a few ammo clips to a quarter size, and makes adjustments so it can fit on top of the barrel. She then adds some iron sights on the side, as well as a knife on the underneath that could rotate once unlocked. The result was a weapon she could wear as a bracelet, but have nearly the power of a rifle. It had only taken her five minutes, but she felt a little tired now. Walking back to her room, leaving the piece of paper with Zenohunt writing as well as the tools on the table at the armoury, she places the new weapon on the bedside table, and lies down on top of the bed, leaving the door open. She opens the drawer of the bedside table, and takes out a sphere. Her tail fluttering a tiny bit, she held it in her hands, and began to rotate the parts. Her friends back on Lemea had been sending her these. They were small puzzles that taught Zenohunts patience. You had to rotate the pieces on the sphere until a small gemstone (or anything else that is put inside) falls out. It could take days to open one. They were called 'oras'. Opal had a shelf lined with all sorts of different gemstones from oras she had solved. Almost every single ora was different. They were hand made, too, not industrialized. Opal lays on her bed, trying to solve the ora.

Shadow finished in the cafeteria and then went to his room. He shut the door and locked it. He took off his shirt and then walked over to his mirror. This was not something he did often so he needed to see what he was doing. He reached down and wrapped his clawed fingers under one of his scales. He gave a tug and a small locket popped out of the gap between his scale and his body. He opened the locket to look at a picture of his parents. He sighed and pulled out the box he kept wrapped from them. It was for his 20th birthday. It was the day they were killed off. He had been away at school and got the present.

Opal saw Shadow walking past through her door, and got up, the ora still in her hands. She puts on her new weapon (as she didn't want to leave it in her room), before getting up and walking out of the door and knocking on Shadow's door with her tail at the same time as trying to solve the ora. "Hey, Shadow. Its Opal. May I come in?" She asks.

Shadow sets the present on the side of his bed. He stands up and puts on a shirt. He walks to the door and unlocks it before heading back to his bed. "Come on in the door is unlocked."

Opal walks in. "Hi." She says, smiling lightly at him. "What'cha doing?" She was off-duty, so she was acting like it. Why act like a guard when you aren't being one at that moment, she was thinking to herself. "I'm a tad bit bored."

Shadow picked up his present and then said " just looking back on the past. My life has had a few happy moments and many of those are from my child hood."

"Yeah. Kind of the same here. Though a Zenohunt's early life isn't as calm as most other races. Most Zenohunts are pushed very hard to learn. I wish my life was just calm." She walks over to his bed and sits down on the side of it, looking at him, smiling.
