Hello and thanks for checking out my thread!

Just to introduce myself real quick, I go by Halo (but you can call me Midnight, or whatever you want, tbqh) and I'm a twenty-two year old girl. For the last year I've been extremely busy and have sort of fallen out of the loop in terms of roleplay. Now that it's summer and I finally have some free time, I'm really looking for some exciting new friends and partners.

Not having the time to RP as much as I would have liked hasn't had an impact on my writing ability. I would consider myself a high casual to low advanced writer, although it really depends how much you give me to work with. There are certain paragraph minimums that I would like, and I'll get to that in a second, but mostly, I'm looking for someone who can match and compliment my style while I do the same for you.

I'll have some topics that I'm interested in below, but I really do like a darker roleplay setting. If it's gritty and angsty and there's a ton of conflict then I am all in. I don't like an A to B story where two people meet, fall in love and live happily ever after. Things really need to be intricate to keep my attention. It's not to say that I won't do fluff or include love scenes, but I'll always want them to serve a purpose within the plot. Of course, it's not to say that there shouldn't be humor and wit amongst all that darkness, after all, who doesn't aim for a well-rounded RP?

The types of characters that I play really does vary and I'll take a crack at pretty much anything. I play both males and females and am comfortable with all pairings (M/F, M/M, F/F). There doesn't always have to be romance, but I do like it and it usually adds extra conflict.

Strictly speaking in terms of fandom, I do play canon characters more often than OCs. It's easier for me to get into the mindset of someone that I've read about or watched than it is to implant some random and start fresh. Most of the time I prefer a Canon/Canon pairing, although there are a few fandoms that I'll make exceptions for.

Also, I'm sorry if any of this comes off as intimidating or demanding. The last thing I want is to scare anyone off! I promise that I'm really friendly and open to ideas and collaboration. Creating something that my partner and I are happy and excited about is always a priority.

I could do canon x canon interactions for Harry Potter, X-Men (limited to films), The Hunger Games. I'd include Star Trek but I'm only after TNG at the moment. I could do something original otherwise, something like elemental powers, college, other dimensions, etc. I can play either gender, like yourself. And I'll also be able to post anywhere from four to whatever, paragraphs, two seems a bit short but it's a nice minimum if you'd like.

I play male and female and am comfortable with both, I write at least three paragraphs per post, and I tend to stick with a roleplayer for a long time if we click.
