Uu, new villains! *shuffles into the IC*

Also, I personally think that posting once a day or so is about right. I don't really post more often than that.

I don't really like the idea of having Johnson in the role. It could be good if he used a different style than what I know him to perform, but I don't really see him being someone who'd inspire. Fear

My illusory Constantine seems to be changing into a mystically knowledgable Rorschach.

On second thought, I'm not sure if I could pull off super smart. Besides, that character was a shy X-man. It'd be harder to use a super-smart adult superheroine.

Maybe super strength? Not many RPers have a character with just super strength.

That's a power that MrD is looking to avoid I believe. It's surprisingly easy to miss, but it is the first thing said in the CS thread.

I've just had an idea for a hero that has, like, a super voice.

He/she can create a sonic boom that can shatter glass, but can also project her voice and throw it, and do impressions of people.

It's a very rough idea at the moment.

most of the fans are excited and incredibly happy that he is Black Adam. I think he is going to own this role and the fact that he has said that he is an anti hero means that we are going to get a very in depth Black Adam, which in my opinion will be a relief from so many cliche Marvel villains. DC knows how to make great movie villains.

Yeah, I definitely prefer DC villains. I think DC's concepts seem more creative in general while Marvel sometimes seems like they try too hard to make more characters. I don't understand what people mean when they say Marvel is more realistic (I'm not arguing. I legitimately don't get it. If one of you would want to explain it to me, that'd be cool).

I prefer Marvel movies to DC movies.

What can I say: they have fun with it.

EDIT: And yeah, I have no clue why people say Marvel is more realistic. They are both equally dumb XD

Movie wise? Marvel all the way. The stick a little closer to the source material. The whole 'gritty re-imagining' thing is getting kind of old with me and I *really* didn't like Man of Steel. I feel like they keep trying to make DC movies that are set in a parallel universe we haven't been introduced to before. If they're gonna do that, just call it 'Superman: Earth 56' or something.

Other than that, don't know much about Black Adam, but I do know Dwane's acting abilities and I'll say this: I'd rather he play an anti-hero in a DC movie now then back when he was playing the Scorpion King.

I loved Man of Steel and would take it over any of the Marvel origin movies. Also it was not gritty, it was serous but most definitely not dark and gritty. we've had way too many silly comicbook movies,I say make it dark and show that comic books are more than just for kids.

It was by no means a terrible movie, but it certainly wasn't one of his best. He's come a long way as an actor since then.

The only Superman movie I liked was Superman Returns, I have yet to see Man of Steel. I liked Green Lantern (I'm a huge GL fan), but I'll admkt it could've been a lot better. I don't like the old Batman movies too much. I feel like Batman Begins & The Dark Knight were awesome. The Third entry may as well not exist to me.

Overall I really like the Marvel movie-verse and I doubt that DC will ever match it. I don't like the gritty reboot style of the DC movieverse and would rather it be more willing to capture the spirit of adventure from the comics, while keeping the overly ridiculous elements off-screen for a while.

I seem to be one of those adults that kind of likes the 'kid' aspect in some of my movies. Sure, some of my favourite films tend to be things like Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels or Predator, but sometimes I'd rather the feeling of childlike wonder and amazement from a comic book movie. If I wanted death, despair and reality I'd just watch Breaking Bad or Game of Thrones. Then again, to each their own. The new Flash series, though? I am ALL about that!

A lot of the reason I didn't like Man of Steel also comes down to the whole No Kryptonite thing, though. Superman has always been a character who could hold his breath in space as long as he wanted. Making air his weakness just rubbed me the wrong way. They kept saying they wanted more 'realism' and then took away a weakness to radioactive materials and kept the laser eyes. It made about as much sense to me as casting Goku as Moody Teen Gohan in Dragon Ball: Evolution.

That's a very cool idea. Both powerful, yet full of potential for scenes outside of battle. Incidentally Black Canary and Banshee are two of my favourite superheroes.

Sam, I want you to know I am particularly fond of your installments and I think you've done a great job at making Volt stand out amongst a ton of other characters. I do have other favorites I've been reading, but good job, man.
