Hahaha, oh man, that's hilariously stupid. Dumber even than the Republicans being dipshits about Benghazi and repeatedly trying to make Hillary Clinton look like an incompetent and horrible person for that nonsense. Same end goal of fucking with a 2016 presidential bid, but damn, at least there was more complexity and finesse to that than this amazingly stupid statement of "ermagerd this person is bad they shouldn't be elected!!!"

Yeah, wow, not too smooth a move. From what I can tell, though, Christie does seem like kind of a jerk. Anyone know if his vetoes (or at least his opinions) on marriage equality and funding for Planned Parenthood have changed?

But Clinton WAS incompetent if she didn't know Benghazi was a terrorist attack.

Politicians should have one thing on their minds: politics. Nothing else matters besides fulfilling the needs of the people. Governors should not be ruled by emotion. If Chris Christie is labelled a jerk, that tells me he isn't dissuaded from his role as Governor by the shouts of uneducated masses, or trying to look good rather than do good. The United States needs a president that puts prose over poetry. Every country on Earth could use that kind of leadership.

Hey Nex, here's a fun fact for you: politics =/= fulfilling the needs of the people. Not in this day and age, nor has it been the case for many decades. Focusing on politics rather than their elected duty to fulfill the needs of their people is what causes politicians to become heaping sacks of shit who vote based on the wishes of their corporate sponsors rather than the people who elected them. Not giving a fuck about detractors is one thing, but that doesn't automatically mean someone's a gutsy politician who's doing what's right despite the hate; sometimes it means they're ignoring the wishes and needs of their people for their own personal agenda, and that's quite the opposite of what they should be doing even by your own definition of what matters for a politician.
