Mortasheen probably doesn't fit the theme very well in a pragmatic sense; you wouldn't be able to interact with others very much due to the nature of the roleplay. Awful Hospital is a possibility. If it's in terms of characters and not factions, they're both fine, just realize this RP has a fair share of conflict, so you'll need characters and factions prepared for that. Coalitions make it somewhat easier to app less combat oriented people, so also keep that in mind.

Alright. I could always use the Hungry Bloodbag, Kidney Stone Mother or Nerse Molly for combat, maybe Phleboto, but he will be too focused on Pizza Bambino for that, at least half the time. As for Mortasheen, which is entirely built around bio-constructed Death Machines, they'd be better as a sort of Mook line, if used at all.

Would a technology-based or magic-based faction be more appropriate in this? Judging by how modern the Coalitions are, I feel that my fantasy factions I had in mind would be ill-suited.

Yes, and no. Fantasy factions alone tend to be under powered in faction based crossover roleplays. However, the intent of the coalitions is to allow factions to cover each others strengths and weaknesses by solidly working together. Fantasy versus something more modern would usually mean modern would win. However, if fantasy has a modern ally, they both become far, far, far stronger. It's all about balance; just fantasy alone will not be enough. Team it up with a modern or sci fi faction(Which is the intent of coalitions) and the story becomes very different very fast.

You can freely modernize or stay in your current tech level if you so choose. The infrastructure from Old Earth is still around, so with help from coalition members it shouldn't be to hard.

I think I'll be taking up an OC faction derived/inspired by Deus Machina Demonbane. The Order of the Raven, a guild of sorcerer-scientists that do battle in magitech-powered mechas. Most likely aligned to the Copenhagen Coalition.

Im going for a group of Mandalorian mercs as for coalition I don't know the one that pays the most.

Probably going to go with Valkyria's Atlantic Federation allied with the Copenhagen Coalition, and put them in Japan or at least East Asia.

Dat naval pew pew.

I'm actually hoping to app the Empire of the Rising Sun From Red Alert three and place them within their canon locations, which would be the Japanese Home islands, Taiwan, Phillipines and Indonesia.

They also had Hawaii, but I'm willing to part with it for this RP

Ehh... it's hard to define. The best answer I can give is that they'll be joining the Copenhagen Coalition.

In Red Alert Three, they were definitely going for world conquest, but in that universe pretty much everyone was.

I think I'll go with the Warriors of Cosmos from Dissidia Final Fantasy. Minus Vaan, plus Gilgamesh, of course. Vaan is a terrible person. Probably aligned with the Copenhagen Coalition, at least at first.

I'm willing to negotiate - I mean, since we're both gonna be part of the Copenhagen Coalition, it wouldn't do to have any infighting.
Out of the islands I've listed, what parts are you hoping for?

For the Atlantic Federation (more like Pacific, hue) I was thinking Southern Japan and immediate parts of East Asia. Okinawa, Sasebo etc., along with Korea and Eastern China (Beijing, Guangzhou, Hong Kong, Shanghai, etc.).

Their canon geographic location is more akin to Europe, but everything else is there too.

Maybe Hawaii if possible.

If I went Log Horizon, then it would be exclusively Japan.

Sorry, but the Japanese home islands - and only the home islands (This includes Okinawa) - is completely non-negotiable for me. I'm fine with you taking any other piece of Asia, but Mainland Japan is most likely not gonna be negotiable unless you want to start on a state of war - I highly expect the Empire to go on a crusade to reclaim the lands.

Neither Eastern Asia Nor Hawaii is my territory (Canonly, the Empire had Hawaii but that's because they were going for world conquest), so feel free.
