I feel like it's a bit of a ghost town now, when I first looked into spam (About a year and a half ago, maybe a little longer) It was flourishing as a small community within the site, and everybody was talking about something all the time. The newbies would make a topic or say something stupid and the older users would beat them up and take their lunch money, it was a very hostile environment to people who ended up sounding stupid or didn't know what they were talking about. A lot of people never came back after the site went down, even I thought it was done for good. Then I come back and find that some of the...veterans, I suppose, are gone. Now some are still here like Smiral and Idle and Mike and, uh, Drakel? And more pop in every once in a while, but I feel like Spam is dominated by the new wave of users now, and it has a more laid back feel than it did in the old days. Not that that's a bad thing, but it's not nearly as active as it once was and I feel like Spam's prime is over. And it's kinda sad.
