So, with the changes in mind, what is the official Vote on the first Demon to fight? And who wants to take part? Keep in mind, you do not have to take part in the first fight if you don't want to. Feel free to opt out and wait for the one you want to face the most.

I'll vote Diabolus too. He's arguably the strongest one, so doing him first keeps the first battle from being too easy.
I have to make some minor changes to my character, but i'll post him here soon.

Edit: I wonder, what happens if one of our characters dies during the battle? Does he come back to life for the next?

Edit2: Drallinix, i just notice that your character can move "twenty times as fast as a normal man". That's a very vague way to state it. Does that mean 20 times sprinting speed of the average human? Cause that would mean he sprints at 200 mph at least.

Here's my character. I'm very bad with power levels, so i don't really know if he's underpowered compared to you guyses characters.

yeah he can he has literally been training for 20000 years to be that fast for the purpose to kill a single character. The character in question can move at 30x the speed of a normal man so Adrian is still gunna be hard pressed though he is better off now than he was in his angel form.

Umm how would a summoner fit in text based r-p. They're primary weakness in any other format is they have a slow start, and are always able to be gone for if they decide to "go all in." on a attack.

So yeah ideally still want that....If gets going feels like stampede.(Stampede is a overstatemnet)

Correction: The character Adrian despises can think 30x faster than a normal human. His maximum movement speed (for the time being) is only a bit above 10x peak human, and that's strictly limited to burst speed. His maximum sustainable speed is actually slower than Shen's up there. Though that is with a significant nerf on his full potential. If I took him as far as he could go, he'd be at the top end of the high tier.

And I'd say Shen would be a good intermediate tier character. Untill he starts slaughtering armies... Though you didn't mention heat levels of anything but the sword buff and didn't mention any energy drain specifics at all. Since this isn't my thread, I won't presume to tell you they're necessary, but generally the more detail you have about that kind of thing the less nervous your opponent will be about potential abuse.

True. I tend to prefer not having too many numbers and just hope that my opponent will trust me, but if you guys like i can elaborate.

And the power increase is a long-term effect that shouldn't come into play here.

Alright, I'm back from a busy weekend. We've got two votes for Diabolus. If Schradinger and BlueAngel both vote for him, we can start a 4 on 1 Boss Battle.

Excellent, then that is where we will start. To answer Lalliman's question, you can revive a character that falls in battle. However, unless one of your teammates can revive your character by some other means, you will need to wait until the next battle to participate. For BlueAngel's question, I believe Summoning would work about the same as you described. It's like a support character, so you would need to rely on your teammates to protect you. Really, just add as much detail as you can, and do you best to scale your powers to your post count. On average, each round of combat takes about 5-6 seconds, at least it does by D&D rules. If I am incorrect, let me know. So, if you cast a spell that takes ten seconds, you need to allow two rounds of combat to take place before using it.

Yeah, for post count proposes, each post is regarded as 5-6 seconds, even if it actually isn't that long IC (which in most one on one fights, it isn't).

He could actually provide an interesting mechanic for these fights. He's got the massively powerful charged attacks that could potentially obliterate a small town, but he's vulnerable the entire time he's charging them, and his only instant use attacks are to summon a water sword, throw his flasks, or bonk them with his staff (not very effective against superhumanly durable demons). The others would have to protect him or risk losing their heaviest hitter. Or heaviest ranged hitter at least...

It would add a better dynamic than just "ok, everyone CHARGE!!". In my opinion at least.

Alright, that adds some variety, i approve. Well, except for one thing, the precision beams. Unless they move slower than the speed of light, which you've given me no reason to believe they do, they're completely undodgable. No attack at any reasonable power level should move at the speed of light. Not one that takes only two turns of charging, that is.

Btw, i updated Shen with some numbers.

True, and you should also probably specify what metal they can cut through, Drall. Otherwise you could claim they cut fictitious metals like adamantium on contact. How they do the cutting would also be good to know, so that their damage potential against non-metal objects can be at least roughly determined.

no they don't move the speed of light they are just made of hard light and I meant through average steel and they burn through it melting it ill add them to his profile.
