Eh, that's alright. From my understanding, currently the only character Val can interact with is Heizo, who is currently perched up top the open bay of the freighter. It'd be a good idea to initiate roleplay from there, and then Solo would have somebody to reply to. And then voila, RP has began. Welp, I'm gonna hop off for the night, as I just spent the past three hours writing stuff for school/preemptive IC post.

But on another note: I'm going on a road trip for a few days starting tomorrow. Just a heads up because it will force me to be inactive for that time. But have no fear, it will only be three days or so.

Can I ask what ships typically look like? Are they open deck, kinda like flying ships because I am been imagining them in the style of the ships from the anime Vanguard.

It varies with the classification.

For example, the Free Wind and the mentioned battleships are large, open-deck vessels with the majority of the space being below deck but a large cabin above deck (think like a futuristic galleon). Whereas an Interceptor-class ship is not open-deck and resembles something more like the Great Fox from Star Fox. But really, it varies greatly. Particularly outside Crucible territory where people can just build their own makeshift airship (though those are often hunks of junk).

Typically, the most common shared feature is that airships will have two to six "solar rails" which are like thin wings that protrude from the ship. These not only collect solar energy but expel it backwards, giving the ship it's propulsion. They also have aura generators somewhere inside, which collects aura from panels along the bottom of the ships. The generators then run into a separate kind of mechanism along the bottom of the ship to give it lift.

Even though those are the typical features of a ship, they aren't a guarantee. Older ships go without the aura generators and short-distance vessels like skiffs don't have solar rails. And some ship designs are wacky enough to not have either yet somehow function (we'll see a few of those in the future).

In short: airships have a lot of variety.

The anime was called Last Exile, I am an idiot. Vanguard was the name of the fighters they used for smaller craft.

Decided to submit my post. Since Emery and Fixit haven't exactly gone up the stairs to Aubrey's mother's room yet, I decided to have Varren meet Aubrey before their arrival. It is up to Ruro on how toRP the two entering the room, and meeting Varren. Not sure if J8cob has already departed on his road trip.

We're all waiting on J8cob's return, as he is currently on a road trip. He should be back later today or tomorrow, so everybody should just hang tight until then. I'm sure the plot will advance greatly when he's back.

I know I just want to keep everyone around until he gets back, I don't want this to just die off before then.

Yeah, I feel the same way. Though, I'm sure everybody is on deck, since this has a pretty good plotline.
