Lilly

Lilly sighed listening to the conversations everybody in the room was having. "Thanks Lorenzo for letting me have your bed. I didn't think you were coming back." Lilly said while turning off her phone and plugging it in to charge. She then rolled herself up in the covers. She rested her head on the pillow and tried to go to sleep. It was hard because of all the people in the room.

Finally though after trying and trying she jumped up and walked to the door. "I'm going to go get something to eat and take a shower." She smiled and walked out of the room. She went to the cafeteria because it was so far away. She didn't want anybody to come looking for her because she needed to be protected. She didn't want to bother anybody.

At the vending machines Lilly bought a coke and some pretzels. She loves pretzels, they're her favorite food. She walked alone back to her dorm to grab clothes for her shower. She smiled while looking out the windows that were placed in the walls of the hallway. She thought the night was so peaceful and beautiful and where the school was you could see the stars perfectly, and she loved stars. The stars always amazed her, she used to sit on her roof and watch them for hours.

After getting her clothes she went down to the shower room, she was alone in there. She didn't want to be with everybody while taking a shower, she really didn't like that thought. She turned on the hot water and let it run through her hair and down her back. It made her muscles relax and feel easy. She smiled at the relief of her muscles relaxing. After cleaning and everything she put on her clothes. She was wearing some short black shorts and a white tank-top. Black and what is her favorite color combination. She then made her way up to the roof to look at the stars.

Once at the roof she laid back onto the stone roof. She looked up at the stars and smiled. She laughed a little at herself as she noticed she was smiling stupid. Lilly found the stars beautiful in there own special way. Just to know something so far away could be seen with the naked eye was fascinating. After an hour she closed her eyes and drifted off to sleep.

Cassandra narrowed her eyes. She didn't like being told that she couldn't do something, especially when she wanted to do it. "And what, carrying my sword around like an idiot and never draw it? I have the skills, even if I don't have the instincts yet" She said "You seem to think I should do the doctor meister first, but I can't just leave my sword in my room. I have to keep it near me. Would you leave your swords laying about? No, I didn't think so" She said, looking to her blade as if to assure herself that it was still there. She sighed, looking over to the photo of her mother and, for all intents and purposes, her father.

Her voice changed as she spoke, becoming determined and strong, "I will become a knight, and I will become a doctor. I will learn control, and I will be able to fight and protect those I care about. I will do it" She fell silent, before rising, grabbing clothes to sleep in, "You can go Hax. We will be fine" She headed to the bathroom, showered and changed, before heading back into the room, and crawling into bed with her book, wondering how Kiddo and Ren were doing, and if they were okay. She should have gone with them. it would ahve been better then this, surely.

Sighing, Hax just shook his head. "Not even listening at all. Isn't the blade supposed to be your ace in the hole in the first place? All I did was look at it logically." He stood up as he spoke. Noticing something he did not voice it, he was told to leave anyway. "I never said to never your sword about or anything. The time it takes to be a knight meister is many times longer than the other meisters. The time it takes you, you may as well have taken two or more meisters first. If your wish is to drag yourself around, then so be it. I have no time for those who do not understand." Walking out of the room, he walked away from the brother and sister.

As he walked about, he looked at the night sky. It was a night like that day. With this feeling in him, he continued about. Walking outside, Hax knew that something was up. Being away from the half demon siblings helped his senses. A problematic demon was coming. Not a powerful one, just problematic. Drawing Cyrono, Huh?, it seemed Cyrono was sleeping. Work to do. Making a quick ice platform, Hax got onto the roof, noticing a sleeping Lilly. The stars, oh so bright, were becoming bigger. Seraphims, is he targeting them? he thought. Cutting through the air in an X form, some of the 'stars' seemed to be encased in ice. It was good they were a distance away, otherwise the explosions would be bothersome, and possibly alert others. The distance they were, no-one should notice, with very very few exceptions. Not wanting to cause a disturbance with a gun shot, Hax knocked out a bullet from a magazine. It was a good chance to practice/train. Throwing up the bullet. He focused the path to send the bullet, encasing it in ice, and drawing out Infernecus. Lining up the bullet in ice, and then causing combustion for the bullet to fly through, before re-encasing it. He repeated this many times, controlling precisely the bullet from such a great distance, with very little to see. Eventually all of the Seraphims were dealt with.

Looking over the girl, he knew he could not leave her there. She could catch a cold or something. Scratching his forehead, he sheathed his blades, and had little choice but to pick the girl up. Carrying her in a princess carry, he walked down the roof. He was unsure as to what to do. Rather than being given permission to leave, Cassandra's tone was clearly chasing him out. Going back there could be a nuisance. Her room is left unguarded ... I can't find the teachers. He felt he was left with little choice. Hax carried the girl to his room, resting her on the bed. Realizing he hadn't had much gum that day, he took a fresh piece and started to chew it. He slept few hours a night, usually achieving about 4 hours every night. Hax went on to do some more maintenance on his weapons. There was little left for him to be taught in terms of Dragoon, and he was more than qualified as a Knight. It was going to be time to be a tamer soon enough. If I can achieve that ... I should be able to go up against the weakest of the eight Demon Kings. Should ... As the night was passing, nothing else seemed to happen.

Sis you really need to try and get along with Hax he will be part of the team anyways. I know he seems arrogant but its probably well earned, believe me I think he is emotionless except for this better then though air he has around him. just be a doctor and ill focus on being a knight and dragoon" Lorenzo told his sister before she went to bed as Lorenzo soon got up and took the shower and afterwards he got his pajama pants and a grey shirt on. Before he went to sleep he went out to a vending machine nearby and got some chocolate milk drinking it before he went back to the room and seeing bright stars in the distance, he thought they were moving but Lorenzo wasn't sure about it. Eventually Lorenzo dismissed it and simply went to bed and fell asleep....

in the morning:
Lorenzo yawned and woke up from his slumber going as he moved his sisters arm slightly to wake her up "lets go sis" Lorenzo yawned before he went and changed into his school cloths and he gathered his weapons and his books to get ready as he started to head downstairs for breakfast...

Lilly

Lilly awoke rubbing her eyes. She yawned and looked around the room. She didn't know where she was, Lilly remember falling asleep on the roof and this defiantly wasn't the roof. Lilly looked around a bit more and finally noticed Hax. *AH* She screamed falling out of bed. She wasn't expecting him to be there, she was expecting Cassandra or Lorenzo. "Uh, Hey." Lilly said standing up finding her glasses. She didn't know Hax so it was a bit awkward for her because she was so shy. "I'm Lilly. Uh, I don't think we have actually met." Lilly spoke making an awkward smile sticking her hand out toward the boy.

As the time approached 0130, Hax finally closed his eyes, getting to sleep. His dreams were empty, nothing came. It was pure darkness. Left all alone. At 0530, he awoke. Lilly was still sleeping, so he made sure to brush his teeth and wash his face. Not long after, he did some light stretches and footwork training. He didn't realise that he was covered in sweat from the dream. Toweling himself, he got a change of clothes and began to change.

Still shirtless, he heard a yawn. It seems Lilly was awake. Shit! he hurriedly put on his shirt, covering up the scars over his body. Still in the middle of buttoning up, he heard her scream, before falling. Finishing putting on the shirt, he heard her re-introduce herself. "What we haven't done is introduce ourselves. We've met last night, regardless. The name's Hax." He looked at the girl, awkwardly smiling and holding her hand out. Grabbing the hand, he lifted her up with one hand. "You were asleep on the roof, so I brought you to my room. Anyway, you should get ready for your classes." As he spoke, he indicated to the door. He wanted to not bring up his scars, he wanted no word of it to come out. Wanting everything brushed off, hoping she did not see them at all.

Cassandra was reluctant to get up. But she sat up when Lorenzo shook her arm, and it was clear that she had been awake for a few hours at least. She had been thinking, and her mind was still set on learning both the knight and doctor Meister. Cassandra was determined to learn both, and she do it how she wanted to do it. She had clearly gone to the library and had books over her bed. She had laid down, and stared at the ceiling thinking and wondering about things.

"I'm up" she said softly, gathering her things, and her notebook which was open, and the showing page was filled with small written notes, and she shoved it in her pack, grabbing her sword and heading outside when she was ready, starting to the cafeteria, pondering things. She sighed to herself, and hesitated as they passed Kiddo and Lilly's room. It didn't seem like Lilly was there and she began to worry about her. Where had Lilly gone, after leaving the room?

Hopefully she was okay. She got her lip, and continued to the cafeteria, grabbing some food and sitting down at a table, staring at the food, but making no move to eat ot

Lorenzo walked to the cafeteria and soon he grabbed a plate of eggs and toast and sat down and started to eat next to his sister " You can be anything you want to sis, I believe in you and ill always be around to make sure your safe. Just make sure to eat or you wont have the strength to be a doctor and knight" Lorenzo said to his sister a little playfully wanting to reassure her that he was going to be the constant in her life from now on, the first allegiance they had was to eachother and their friends. Of course at the moment Hax was a little iffy considering he wasn't really trying to be polite to them even if it was only a good morning or a how are you guys with a smile it would be enough for Lorenzo to do more and get to know him better but his attitude and his constant emotionless face said otherwise.

Cassandra nodded, silent and started to eat. She did so to stop Lorenzo worrying, and managed to give him a smile."I don't like being underestimated" she said softly "I work hard in everything, and I don't like being told that I can't do something, or are not good about things, or...I just don't like it." She said, shrugging, before falling silent again. She sometimes wondered if there had been something should could have done for their mother, and for the man that helped raised her. If she'd just been home, if she hadn't insisted on getting a job, or being independent...would they still be alive? That's why she wanted to be a knight. So she would know that she could protect her loved ones. That was more important to her right now then becoming a doctor. If there was a way she could do both at the same time, she would. But if she couldn't, then she would lean towards being a Knight.

"I'm going to go talk with Oliva today, I think. See what she thinks. And she if there's been anything about anymore demons. And did Lilly come back to the room? I hope she's okay" she said after a few moments, concerned for Lilly "and Kiddo and Ren, I hope they are both okay" she said, wishing there was some way of contacting them. "We should go to them" she said, pushing away her finished and emptied tray away from her

Lilly

Lilly smiled awkwardly. "Yeah, probably. I'm going to go back to my room. Thank you." Lilly said leaving and making her way back to her dorm. She opened the door and changed into a nice skirt and white shirt. then putting on shoes she did her hair and grabbed her books. Lilly smiled at herself in the mirror then giggled. She thought she looked adorable. While walking to breakfast she pulled out her phone and texted some old friends. They were nothing really, just something saying good morning Lilly smiled once they replied. Then put her phone away, after spotting Cassandra she ran up to her and sat down. Lilly over heard her say Kiddo and Ren's name but that was all. "What's going on?" Lilly said smiling as she stood up with Cassandra.

Once the girl named Lilly left, Hax sighed deeply. "I guess she didn't see." He was relieved. Continuing with some footwork, he also had some weights as he was practicing, footwork and stances. After a while, he decided he should take a shower. Instead of the dorm shower, due to his circumstances, he had a private shower. The director gave him special permission to have one, due to the scars, to avoid questions and other annoyances. Some of the scars, from so long, still stung the skin. With each drop of water, the stinging could be felt all over. A wound so deep, it won't leave.

Once he finished his shower, Hax dressed in his clothes, which looked mostly the same as his other clothes. Taking some gum into his pocket and his gear, he then walked over to a frame hidden behind his bed, where no-one would notice. Looking at the picture, he closed his eyes for a moment. I'll be off now.Don't you worry about him, we will look after him. Continue to look over him. With that he put the frame back, and walked out.

Reaching the Cafeteria, he grabbed a tray and got some toast, eggs, tomato and bacon on a plate on the tray. Taking a seat away from the others, he silently said his prayers, Itadakimasu. Hax ate quickly, it took less than two minutes to finish. Gochisosama deshita Putting his tray with the plate away, he took out some gum and started to chew it. His face was still rather emotionless, but a bit mellow. Taking three more sticks of gum out, he flicked them, and they landed on the table, in the center between Lilly, Cassandra and Lorenzo. Today had ... a little bit of a more special meaning to the day. Walking away, he left the cafeteria.

Lorenzo nodded to Cassandra " I believe in you sis, theirs nothing we cant do. I wouldn't worry about Lilly though your going to see her anyways" and almost on cue Lilly came over to them and asked about ren and kiddo "their going to kiddos fathers funeral and Cassandra is just worried about them is all, I wouldn't though. those guys are as tough as nails when its go time" Lorenzo said smiling then he noticed that Hax came down to eat and as usual he ignored Lorenzo and everyone else as Lorenzo kept eating then he saw Hax throw everyone a piece of gum and leave without another word. In all honesty maybe it was because Lorenzo started to see how logical Hax always acted that he started to think that the reason he wasn't an exwire was because he blocked out all emotion to be where he was, in that fact Lorenzo somewhat pitied him. Lorenzo went through his own personal hell and so did his sister but at least they didn't stop being human and put up walls against everyone else so before Hax left the cafeteria completely Lorenzo called out to him "thanks, see you in class" before Lorenzo smiled and went back to eating knowing classes would start soon...

Cassandra smiled when Lilly joined them, relieved that she was okay, and she gave the girl a hug, "Eat" She said "You haven't been here for classes, they can be demanding, so eat up" She said, looking up when the sticks of gum were flicked over to them. Cassandra blinked, picking one up.

She looked over in the direction it had been thrown, seeing Hax. She frowned. Hax didn't seemed concerned with being nice, his attitude was complete arrogance, as if everyone else was beneath him, but then he'd just threw them gum. She pocketed the stick of gum, "Gum. that's the first time I've been offered gum thrown across the room without even the question do you want gum" She said, shaking her head, but she smiled slightly.

"And I'm allowed to worry, even if I know they can handle themselves" She said in reference to Kiddo and Ren.

Walking to the entrance of the school, Hax placed a form down by the receptionist's desk, indicating he would be out of the school for a few hours. Walking along, he left. Today was a special day, to respect those who have passed in his family. There were two set days, technically, since the two families joined. The two families should still be together, since they have not found Infernecus nor Cyrono. Either way, Hax was going to pay respect to his family, his ancestors. The families each had different ways to respect the family. Today's was from his father's flame family. There was a hill near the school, and hidden by shrubbery a cave on the hill. It was a special spot where he could be alone.

After about 45 minutes he had entered the cave and put down Cyrono. Cyrono understood what was happening, and that it was not something for Cyrono to interfere with. Drawing Infernecus, he cut his hand a little. He began to meditate, with his open wound. The crimson flame burned around Hax, without burning him. His blood mixing with the demon flames. Since long ago in his clan, they would bleed into the flames of the fire demons to pay respect for those in the past. Eventually, they had been able to feel them, through the blade. "Father" Hax spoke softly. Feeling the presence of his father's will beyond the flames. He began to chant the family hymns. After 10 minutes, it was over. Sheathing Inferenecus, and bringing Cyrono closer, they huddled together.

Feeling refreshed and relaxed for the first time in a long time, Hax smiled to himself. His blades were happy with him, and they stayed in the cave for a while, letting him take a little nap.

Lilly

Lilly went and got herself some food and began eating. "Sorry I didn't come back last night. I fell asleep on the roof." Lilly laughed and looked at Cassandra. "I woke up in Hax's room, it was awkward." Lilly laughed awkwardly and began eating some more of the food on her plate. "I really hope Ren and Kiddo are okay." Lilly said frowning looking at Lorenzo and Cassandra. "Should we go and find them?" Lilly asked concerned about the two. Lilly liked Ren, he was funny and always had time for a good joke. She didn't really have an opinion on Kiddo though. She hadn't talk to him much or seen much of him. And, when she did he seemed distant and depressed. But, she couldn't balm him. He did just lose his dad.

Without the right key we cant go anywhere but the cram school" Lorenzo said emphasizing the point by showing his single key that he knew everyone had when they joined the school. soon he finished his breakfast then he opened the piece of gum and started eating it, he heard a rumor a while ago that if you eat gum after eating it helps clean your teeth urban legend of course but still couldn't hurt to try it. Lorenzo put his tray away and smiled at Cassandra and Lilly "alright girls time to head to class" Lorenzo said smiling at them as he chewed his gum and lead the way towards a door to use the key on and transport them to the cram school...

Cassandra sighed, "ISn't there anyone we could at least contact them?" She was worried that something would happen to them. With the demon attacks, it was clear that the group was now a target, and Cassie was worried that Kiddo and Ren would get into trouble and they wouldn't know what happened to them. She was worried that someone would think that attacing Kiddo now, when he was grieving, would be a good opportunity.

But she sighed, and got up, picking up her pack and sword, and followed Lorenzo.

Ari sighed softly as she sat on one of the desks in the back, waiting for the other students to show up. She started to get lost in thought after several silent minutes, thinking about how the headmaster had asked her to transfer into this Cram school. They knew she was in possession of a demon sword, and had told her being in this cram school would help her. But they had also told her to keep an eye on a few of the students. Why, she thought to herself, she didnt know quite yet. She knew there was suspicious since she now had to be involved. Probably more demons, she thought to herself.

She soon snapped back to attention to glance at the clock, seeing it was almost time for class to start

Ren broke out of his inner trance, and saw Kiddo standing over him. He was in a completely different place than when he had originally thought. How did I get here? Was I really out that long? These thoughts frightened Ren, he had moved without being conscious of it. All that had occurred in the time past had not been himself. It had him confused, and as stated earlier, extremely frightened.

"Yeah Kiddo, I'm fine, I just don't really know what's going on I guess. Last thing I remember was the train ride." Ren said as he reached up to grab his friends hand. He hefted himself off the ground with a little more effort than usual. Apparently that little internal struggle took a lot out of me. Ren let out a sigh and placed a hand on his head. 'What the hell was all that even about.

"Kiddo, was there anything strange about me in here? Besides the obvious, of course."

Lorenzo soon lead the group and opened the door with his key and they were back in the cram school, Lorenzo lead the way into the classroom to see a new student that apparently was waiting for them or the class to start. Lorenzo didn't think much of the idea of a new student as far as Lorenzo was concerned that just meant that now the classroom was getting filled up with seat and that their were more people to count on whenever Lorenzo and Cassandra might end up loosing control somewhere their would be another voice to tell them to calm themselves and stop. Lorenzo chewed his gum as he sat down at his table waiting for the others to do the same...
