Please let me know if your interested in either or both ideas. Also feedback, questions, suggestions are all welcome.
1.) First I was thinking of a roleplay with no humans it. There would be snakes, foxes, otters, hawks, mice and other critters like that. Because of the lack of humans in this world, the setting would be similar to midieval times as the animals and reptiles haven't understood how to build cities like we have in the real world. Therefore nature would affect them greatly, perhaps even life or death in some circumstances.
The basics for the idea came from reading some of Brian Jacques Redwall series.
The plot for this idea, is for now a blank slate that I have yet to fill with ideas. I'm hoping that I will get some interest with this idea and get some ideas shared about what there could be for a plot.
Also I am intending for their to be some conflict between different sides in the story, whether its good vs evil or good vs the greedy or good vs evil vs nature... The list goes on.
Also I'd like to say that I'm not sure about magic in this roleplay if anyone was wondering, but the characters could definitely be accomplished at skills or techniques-but for these it should make some sense. (Some examples include: A badger is not going to be able to jump from tree to tree. A snake is not going to be able to dig a hole in the ground and would have some trouble picking a locked door for obvious reasons. )
2.)For this next idea: There's a large army of ships from a continent far away from where the most/all of the main characters are living or perhaps born . This continent where the ships are from is quite prosperous, but the government if it can be called that is controlled more or less by a very small handful of individuals who rule by manipulation, half truths, elimination of "threats", disposing of "weak links" and other horrible methods. This continent has many cities with smaller governments that are manipulated directly or indirectly by the Capitol city government-despite the fact that if the smaller cities could/would come to the conclusion of overthrowing the capitol as a united force, then they might be free to have the freedom that many have dreamed of getting.
This rebellion might happen if not for a few things. But one thing above all else. There's an ancient half of a relic that has been found by someone long ago, already dead and forgotten. The thing is though, that a scholar has been brought and deciphered the writing on the relic-which says that, 'Any who control the whole relic has the key to the world's destruction in the palm of their hand.' For years only three people have known about this relic, two of them the people who hold the most power in the Capitol and the last the Scholar. The information about the relic is told that it will be used against any or all of the minor cities to bring utter destruction if they rebel. The secret is that the relic is useless as it is now, being that is only half of what it needs to be, but only three people know that.
The top two people in the capitol have realized that it is critically important they get this other half of the relic. So important that they have started to invade the rest of the world in search of it. This is where I'd see a good bunch of the characters being tied into the story. Likely that the relic was passed down the one character's family for generations and was told when he was a kid by his family role model to never let go of it.
Years passed and this character was hanging out with his friends in whatever city/town they were in and it got invaded by the Capitol. All hell breaks loose.
That could be where the story starts.

About the idea above:
There would be different groups of people throughout the rest of the world outside the "Capitols Continent", possibly rivalling the Capitol in power.
But I haven't thought about the rest of the world. So any and all ideas are welcome.
