Jared noticed Elim's harsh remarks toward Kasus, but simply ignored it... for the moment. For now, he nodded his agreement with Kristoff and even helped him get some stuff out of the overturned sled, even taking the initiative to add some of the gear to his own so that Kristoff wouldn't be forced to carry everything. On a similar note, Jared also flagged his friends over had them carry a bit as well. After all, the more supplies they could carry away from the sled, the better. It was at about this time that the little snowman finally decided to come out of hiding, his sudden appearance even startling Jared, "Hello," it said, staring at the group with wide eyes and naive smile, "my name's Olaf. Anna and Elsa first made me when they were little girls, but earlier today Elsa made me again but used her powers to give me life. I found Anna after that and..." at this point Jared realized that if he didn't say something the snowman would never shut up.

"Oh, OK. That's great." he said with feigned interest, "Speaking of Elsa, we better go find her now, right?" this seemed to be enough to get the snowman to stop talking in favor of moving along, "Phew... thought he'd never stop talking." he muttered under his breath as the group now seemed ready to start up the mountain trail.

As they did so, Jared realized there were a couple of things he needed to take care of among his friends and chose now to do so. First he adjusted his pace to walk with Serene, "Did you lose your nunchaku?" he asked her suddenly, "It's just, well I kind of noticed you weren't using them in the last fight..." he paused, thinking of an idea and suddenly just gave his spear to her, "...here, take mine for now. I'd feel better if you at least had something to use besides your fists." and before she could have a chance to give it back or refuse, he went off on his own again.

Next up was Kasus. It was pretty apparent that the poor guy was feeling down, especially after his "conversation" with Elim, that term being used very loosely. And so, Jared decided to try saying something to help, "Hey, don't listen to what he says." Jared whispered, not really wanting Elim to hear and start an argument, "I mean, we're all kind of new to this sort of thing. Heck, even Elim was a rookie at some point, even if he'd probably never admit it. If we just stick together it'll turn out okay, I'm sure of it." with that, he was about leave but stopped himself, wanting to say one last thing, "Oh, and next time let me know if you lose something so I can help you find it, OK?" that last thing was referring to the swords Kasus lost back in the Kingdom, and as he walked away Jared made a note to himself to help Kasus find them before they left.

And finally, Jared saved the most difficult thing for last. He wasn't sure how he was going to do this, even as he approached Elim, but he knew he had to do something. The last thing he wanted was tension among his friends, and if that meant playing mediator then he'd just have to knuckle down and do just that, "Hey," he said to Elim when he got to him, "that was completely uncalled for you know." there was no need to elaborate, it was pretty obvious what Jared was referring to, "I don't know how long you've been on your own, but since you're with us you really should cut the Lone Wolf routine, and cut us a little slack while you're at it. Maybe you have a bit of experience with fighting, and if so, great. But the rest of us, myself included? If you think we should improve somehow then just say so, you don't have to go slapping someone and making a scene about it." he was about to leave Elim to his thoughts when he added, "One more thing. Since you're clearly the most experienced fighter, if you could maybe help us with some training, I think we'd all appreciate it."

Maybe he could have sounded more stern, reminded Elim just whose ship they were riding on or something as a warning, but Jared chose not to. This wasn't some military squad where he needed to be a harsh drill instructor to keep everyone in line. They were just a group of kids who, thanks to a rotten twist of fate, were effectively stuck together and only really had each other to rely on. That meant they would all have to start by trusting each other.

Jared indeed did have a point, about them relying on each other. Elim knew that until he obtained his own mode of transportation, he would have to travel with these people, there was no doubt about that. As for Elim not having time to babysit them, that wasn't the truth. He just didn't want to. There was no point if they were going to be weak enough to die, but then the thought of training them came up. There was strength in numbers, Elim knew this much. Numbers added to the strength of each person, as was how an army worked, however; if the units in an army were weak, then the army was weak. As much as Elim wanted to worry about his own training, being a part of a weak party probably wasn't the best plan.

Plus, he recalled something his Sensei once said.

"A teacher grows stronger when teaching his students. After all, being a teacher lets you reexamine everything you know and improve what needs to be improved to make it good enough to be taught. Plus, the teacher can always learn from a student."

From the sound of it, being a teacher was a good way to improve ones combat skills. So before Jared could walk away, Elim spoke to him. "Very well..." He turned around to fully face Jared. "I'll train all of you". If it would help improve Elim's own ability, then he was up for it. "Just beware that I won't make it easy on you. And if this training kills you, then you wouldn't have been able to handle the real world anyway. We can start once we take care of our business here."

While Elim may have been exaggerating, his words held truth to them. If they couldn't handle tough training, then they couldn't handle tough opponents. Plain and simple. If they couldn't handle tough opponents then they would be better off sitting back away from the battle lest they die. After saying his agreement to training, not necessarily agreement to not be so distant, he soon decided to address something that had been on his hand for the past several minutes, walking over to the Ice Golem, or 'Snow Man' as it was apparently called, although this creature looked like no man. Maybe the face... but it looked like just a stack of rocks with legs in the bodily area. He guessed it could look like a human to a child's more imaginative eye.

Not aware that it could talk, Elim bent down and planned to pick it up by the head, but only picked up his head as he wasn't aware that it was in three pieces, almost being startled, but being more curious than anything, before looking at the Princess. "Your highness, do you have any idea what sort of Sorcery, wicked or normal, created this weak looking Construct?" Elim was a bit confused, wondering why someone would create such a weak looking construct. It seemed to have no combat value, which was one of the main reasons, other than needing a neat servant, that people made Constructs.

Serene was furious that Elim would say something like that and even more so at slapping him. They should be supporting each other not tearing each other down. She felt so mad about this that she felt could melt the snow underneath her but like the other she did not say anything. She did not know what to say. Instead she walked up to Kasus and tapped him on the shoulder and smiled the friendliest smile she could muster. Hoping to comfort him. A the group stated to move along Serene stayed close to Kasus.

Jared had slowed his pace to what seemed like match hers she looked over at him a bit puzzled. He spoke. "Did you lose your nunchaku?" he asked her suddenly, "It's just, well I kind of noticed you weren't using them in the last fight..." he paused, Serene was surprised at how observant he was. She smiled and laughed because she did not know what else to. The next thing she knew Jared spoke up and said "...here, take mine for now. I'd feel better if you at least had something to use besides your fists." and before Serene could even responded Jared went off on his own again.

Serene was honored that Jared would give her his weapon, thought had come to her that a persons weapon was an extension of ones self and she walked a little higher. She cared the new possession as a cane in honor.

After taking note of the new arrivals, Simo saw something that caught his attention; the strange four legged creature. What he found odd about it was how calm it seemed. Back on Simo's home world, everything wanted you dead. All the wild animals seemed to have this insane addiction for human flesh. Hell, he had even seen creatures on his home world pause fight over...pretty much anything, to hunt down a nearby human that they had somehow noticed. Of course, that stopped bothering Simo when he was 6. That's when he learned how to hunt. It was then that he stopped being the potential victim, and started taking the fight to them. The fact the every non-sentient being on that planet was a complete and utter asshole made his first kill so much easier and guilt free.

Which is why this creature simply baffled Simo. This thing looked completely defenseless. It seemed to have flat teeth, which meant that it was an herbivore. Okay, fair enough. However being an herbivore didn't mean that it should be a wimp. It's horns looked like they might be able to provide some method of self defense. Although closer examination showed that they weren't anywhere near sharp enough to run someone through with. "Just...what kind of creature is this?"

"Hm? Oh, that's Sven." said Kristoff, approaching Simo and the elk, "He's a reindeer," he then glanced around swiftly and added in a whisper, "and if you ask me, he's way better company than most people I've ever met. Right, pal?" he said the last bit while patting Sven on the neck, "Yeah, we go way back, Sven and I. Practically grew up together. He's my best friend in the whole world."

Meanwhile, Olaf the snowman giggled when someone picked up his head, "H-hey, stop it. That tickles!" when he put his head back on he gave it a good spin, causing it to make a full rotation before coming to a stop. The Princess herself also giggled at the antics of Olaf and then just shrugged at Elim's question.

"I don't know. I only just found out about her powers last night. As for Olaf," she gestured at Olaf, "he was definitely not alive when we first made him as kids. So I honestly can't answer your question. Sorry."

"Eh, it's probably not all that important anyway." said, Jared, speaking up from his current position ahead of the others. As he walked, his arms were rested behind his head in a relaxed position, "He's pretty friendly, so how evil could he possibly be, right?" as he said this, he came to cliff edge and stopped, gazing forward in silent amazement, "Whoa, check it out..." was all he could say as he now pointed forward at the thing he was staring at. Across the cliff was the peak of a neighboring mountain, but that wasn't the amazing thing, not by a long shot. A crystal-like stairway of ice connected the peaks, and lead directly to what could only be described as an palace of ice, the setting sun giving it a reddish-pink shimmer as it sparkled like crystal.

Jared's wonder was cut short as he spotted something. Three unrecognizable figures crept into the palace. Evidently, they were not the only ones in search of the Queen, "Someone's going inside! Come on!" he told the others, and with that began running up the icy staircase. Surprisingly, it was not slippery at all, the weather being too cold for the ice to melt and become slick as a result.

So they didn't know? Well Elim didn't really mind, he was mainly just curious. Olaf was still a bit of concern. Golems usually don't have emotions or possess the ability to speak. How was this construct acting as if it was alive, as if it had a soul? There was a bit of concern there, and as much as he wanted to get rid of that concern with a quick slash of his sword cloaked in Fire, he decided against it. He didn't seem like a threat for now, and the exact nature of whatever power created this creature was unclear. It could be something benevolent that placed a soul into it, so Elim wasn't going to attack based on an assumption.

So with that they continued onward, Elim remaining silent unless someone went to speak to him specifically. He felt like there wasn't anything he could contribute to any conversation that happened on the way. The blue mage continued to go up the mountain until he saw what Jared was looking at. "Now that's some magic..." Elim was a bit awe inspired by it. A palace entirely made of ice. Not unheard of in his own world, but still awe inspiring whenever it was seen. There wasn't much time to wonder though as three figures began to move into the palace.

"Good, some practice..." Elim drew his blade and began to run up the stairs, moving very swiftly despite the armor he wore. Of course his armor only looked somewhat heavy, whether it actually was was a different story. He was glad that the stairs were not slippery, so this allowed him to run more quickly, not needing to be bothered with keeping his pace to avoid slipping. Once up the stairs and inside of the palace he changed his blade into a bow, an arrow of fire forming on it as he pulled back an invisible string, his eyes scanning the area for the figures or listening for any sounds as he was already moving on ahead, not taking into account that the others may not move as quick as he did. If they did then good for them, they could help out.

Well now this was a fascinating piece of architecture; an entire building of ice. "I wonder how it was constructed? It looks so intricate that it must have taken a lot of attention to detail." Then there was the stairs. Now while Simo didn't have much experience with ice, he was pretty sure that all ice was supposed to be slippery. Yet that ice had been as slick as stone. "The other worlds really are filed with all kinds of wonders. I'm so glad I left home"

However he didn't get long to admire the structure before him, because a group of three strange beings crept into the building. Readying his weapon, he thought aloud "I wonder if those are more of the Heartless things that we've been fighting. If they are, then what are they doing here? Are they after the Queen, and if so, then why? They don't seem intelligent enough to make full use of having a Queen for a prisoner...so then why?"

They all got up to the hill and there in front of them was a giagnic ice castle. She thought to her self this queen must really not want to let people in. As she finished that thought she saw people entering in as did the others. The all head toward the castle.

As she stood in front of the castle she could only wondering in awe at it. The ice was so intricate. The steps shimmered in the sun light. Why where people so afraid of her? When she created such beauty?

Jared got about halfway up the stairs when he heard screams coming from inside. Well, that certainly wasn't a good sign. The shouts belonged to men, though, so it was the figures who were in danger and not necessarily the Queen. That was good news... sort of. He personally preferred if no one died, to be honest, but at least the attackers were the ones getting what they deserved. When the palace doors swung open, Jared stopped. He had to dive to the side to avoid being trampled over by a short mustachioed man and his crossbow-armed pair bodyguards as they barreled outside and down the stairs. Of course, this being a narrow stairway, Jared didn't exactly have anywhere to dive to, so he had to quickly summon his Keyblade and jam it into the side of the ice just give himself something to hold on to.

He'd only just managed to climb back back up when something else burst from the doors. It was kind of like a snowman, only the size of an adult human, but snow and ice quickly gathered around it, piling on top of the thing until it became monstrous in size. Jared blinked and instinctively ducked as the monster made a giant leap halfway down the stairs. As soon as it hit, the ice behind it cracked. Jared's eyes widened expectantly and he scrambled up the remainder of the steps as the stairs crumbled behind him. He reached the safety of the top, but realized he had no way of getting down to help his friends fight this giant.

"You guys get the Princess out of here!" he shouted down to his friends, "Don't worry about the Queen, just leave that to me!" after that he turned and entered through the icy doors. Once inside, he saw broken pieces of glass all over the floor of what was likely an ante chamber of sorts, and he spotted a lady in a blue dress about to run away into another room, but she stopped when she heard the doors and turned to see Jared. Despite her eyes being teary and ready to cry, she had an angry look on her face.

"How many times do I have to tell you people to leave. Me. ALONE!" on the last word she thrust out her hand and a snowy energy burst forth and flew right at Jared, who thrust his Keyblade up defensively, catching the icy magic onto the blade before fling it aside. This seemed to surprise the girl, "What? What are you?"

"Wait, it's okay!" Jared said, dismissing the Keyblade so he could be unarmed, "I don't know what those three guys did, but I swear I'm not with them. I just want to take you home to the kingdom, that's all."

"And just why should I believe you? And even if I did, what if I don't want to go back?" she retorted coldly.

"You don't understand, I came here with - look out!" Jared was interrupted and sprang forward, re-summoning the Keyblade and striking down a small Heartless that appeared behind the girl who could only be Queen Elsa.

"What did you - Ah!" Elsa pointed to where Jared had stood. More Heartless appeared, mostly the same small black ones and small armored ones that had attacked Lunaris, "What are they?"

"Heartless, Your Majesty." responded Jared, putting himself between Elsa and the creatures, "And it looks like they're blocking our only exit. I hope you can use that magic of yours to fight, 'cause I think we're gonna need it."

The way was shut, it was made by some woman in a blue dress, not that Elim knew this, but the collapsing of the bridge effectively separated them from Jared. As if that wasn't bad enough, now they had a giant Frost Golem to deal with, or what looked like a beast made of snow more than anything. A smirk formed on Elim's expression. This would be easy enough. "So this world does have Frost Golems after all... interesting". Elim unsheathed his blade, the blade glowing as it once again transformed into a large Glaive. A quick chant of the word "Fire" and the weapon's blade was engulfed in flames.

This creature looked a bit like that much smaller one, something made of snow rather than frost or ice. Whoever made this thing certainly chose a shitty material to compose it out of. It didn't matter how imposing this creature looked, a weapon of hot metal would slice through it like butter. Of course, that was if it was made of snow. If not, then just a fiery weapon would still deal more damage. "You heard our 'leader', get her Highness out of here, ill take on this thing alone, the rest of you will only slow me down". Elim still wasn't pulling punches. Sure he had agreed with Jared to help train them, but he hadn't had the chance to train them yet, and in his own eyes the way they were now would only just slow him down.

Deciding to test the waters and his theory about this beast, and not really caring about any responses the group had to Elim's demand for them to leave, Elim charged forward, weaving back and forth as carefully as he could, yet quickly to avoid any crushing fists, as he wasn't going to hold back, not that he ever did. Large monsters like this were usually somewhat slower, or at least their attacks were easier to predict. Not only that, but the legs. By taking out the legs this thing would undoubtedly be alot easier to vanquish. The legs first, then find the core of this thing and destroy it.

So after ducking low he ran, slashing the left leg when he got close with the fiery hot weapon, using the momentum of his first slash to slash the second leg. Elim wasn't going to stop there though. Gritting his teeth, he would keep up the assault on this creature's legs exclusively until the beast fell, as that was his first plan, and he wasn't going to stop until this thing was on the ground like a helpless beast, a small part of Elim hoping that this wouldn't be easy as normal magical logic dictated.

It was at this point that Simo found himself questioning the biology of creatures made out of snow and ice 'do they even have vitals? It might not even matter where I shoot it. That kind of sucks' Simo lamented to himself. While Elim seemed to be doing some damage against it, that was most likely because his weapon was now on fire...somehow. While this brought up the question of how a creature could even be alive (wait...was it?) without any kind of organs 'It's just snow and ice, how does it even function?' However Simo was brought out of his musings when he remembered that they were in the middle of a battle. So if he couldn't kill it by shooting at it, then that left him with very little options. He didn't see anything around that might be useful, so that ruled that out. Which left his magic

His only offensive spell was Gravity, so that's what he was stuck with. However, he was reminded of something his father once said; 'The bigger they are, the harder they fall'. Which was something that Simo's past experience had proven true. Now however, things were a little different; now he had a magic spell that could make things heavier. The snow creature didn't look very nimble, so adding on some weight might really slow it down, and then there was Elim; It was obvious what he was doing. Striking the legs to make it fall. Now that was something that a weight increasing spell would help. "Gravity!" He targeted the beast's torso with his spell

Elim's attacks seemed to work, the fiery glaive doing as it was intended and slicing through the giant's legs quite easily. But Elim failed to take into account the fact the creature was made out of inanimate materials and therefore felt absolutely no pain or annoyance at the attacks. Sure, chunks of its legs were hacked to pieces but more simply reformed in its place, effectively regrowing the giant's lost "flesh", as it were. It roared, raising its big, clawed hand to swipe at Elim when it suddenly stopped. An invisible began holding it in place, and further still pushing it downwards. This was the result of Simo's spell, but there was an unexpected side effect. The giant, still standing on the ice bridge, became increasingly desperate as the magically enhanced weight caused cracks to start appearing on the lower half of the ice bridge. After only another moment there was the sound of a thousand windows being shattered as the ice platform gave out and crumbled beneath the giant. But it was still too early to celebrate.

The spell wore off in time for a small, red piece of ice to rocket upward and onto the summit of the mountain. It just floated there but only for a moment, as piles of snow and hunks of ice began rapidly gathering around it to form the shape of the giant. It stamped the ground, roaring once more to signify that it still had a ways to go before it would be defeated. In fact, as it roared it dug its claws into the snow and catapulted piles of the stuff forward in an attempt to bury Simo and Elim alive.

Meanwhile, in the ice palace, Jared's Keyblade seemed to make quick work of the Shadow Heartless, but the Soldier variety proved more tenacious, taking multiple strikes from the blade to be defeated. Things weren't helped by the Shadows seemingly forming from the ground with no sign of an end. Jared had proven a capable fighter thus far, but he knew he wouldn't be able to keep this up forever, not while outnumbered and while trying to protect an unarmed Queen. Though Elsa wouldn't be counted out just yet, as she able to throw her icy magic at the Heartless, freezing many of them solid and leaving them helpless to Jared's blade.

"We can't keep this up!" exclaimed Jared as he finished off a wave. No more appeared and he was momentarily relieved, but that relief was immediately washed away when a new type of Heartless appeared, winged devils with a stronger-looking one apparently commanding them. That one was leading the attack, for sure, as it mostly stayed in place pointing here and there while the others swooped and attacked as directed.

Elim wasn't one to celebrate in battle, but even he was he would wait until he could confirm the enemy's death. That wasn't the case here as the a red piece of ice suddenly shot up, ice and snow forming back around it, Elim smirking. That wasn't as fruitless as normal people would think. "By revealing your weakness, you've sounded your death knell". They just needed to get to that core and smash it, simple enough. Of course, first they had to deal with the sudden large piles of snow that was catapulted towards them in an attempt to bury them alive.

Elim wasn't going to be a sitting duck. He quickly charged forward, gritting his teeth as instead of trying to dodge the pile, he used a bit more magic to intensify the blaze over the entirety of his weapon, spinning it rapidly above his head. This ring of fire above Elim acted as a shield. Of course, it wasn't perfect, some bit of snow still bashing into Elim, but he gritted his teeth and pressed onward towards the creature, baring the assault of snow.

"Your attacks are soft, just like that shell around you!" Elim cried this out loudly as once again, with a mighty spin of his weapon, he the fiery blade of the glaive slashed through the leg of the giant once again, but Elim wasn't going to give it a chance to regenerate. Instead of focusing damage onto both legs, he did it on one, making a second powerful cleave to cut the leg off completely, or so he hoped it would.

Either way, once the leg was off, the beast would have to drop to one knee, giving Elim time to get the other leg so that he could try and get on the creature's back after that.

Quickly putting up a Reflect spell, the snow hit Simo's protective dome before being scattered when the spell ended and shoved outward. With that taken care of, Simo was ready to start attacking. It seemed that his initial assessment about the creature was wrong; it did indeed have something that could be considered a 'vital'. Now while that was all well and good, he still wasn't quite sure where to aim. Simo knew quite a few creatures back on his home world that could shift around some of their vitals (except for the brain. That was something that always stayed where it was), so maybe this thing could too. Right now, it seemed that their best chance was to hack it open to find that red thing inside. While his weapon wasn't really fit for something like that, there was a way he could help; since he was going for the legs again, it was quite clear what Elim was trying to do. So while the creature was focused on him, Simo was free to hit it with another Gravity spell. If Elim couldn't strike it's vital after this, then at least Simo would get a clear shot it it went back up into the air

Simo and Elim's impromptu strategy seemed to work. The more Elim hacked at the creature, the less attention he paid to Simo. When the second Gravity spell came, the giant froze again, and while it was in no danger of falling to its doom as it was on the bridge, it struggled to maintain the snow and ice that made up its body. Indeed, the red ice was revealed once more, giving Elim a precious opportunity to finally deal some direct damage to the monster. He'd need to be quick, though, since Simo's Gravity spell wouldn't last too much longer, and given the creature's size and properties, it was pretty clear it could easily outlast them in a drawn out battle if they didn't strike now.

Back in the palace, Jared and Elsa were proving to be a surprisingly effective team. Elsa's near constant barrage of ice magic combined with Jared's power of Thunder proved a potent combination against the flying Air Soldiers. Even the one commanding them had to step in and join the fray once it was clear that it was the last man standing. Jared was relieved that there didn't appear to be any more Heartless spawning, but was cautious anyway. This Air Pirate Heartless was calling the shots for a good reason, as it was it much tougher than the others. Stronger, faster, but most importantly, this one was more intelligent. It had to be to be able to lead an attack as it had done.

Upon seeing the red ice, Elim quickly sprung into action. As he charged forward, he changed his weapon again. A blunt weapon would be much better than a piercing weapon in terms of attacking the icy red core of the beast, so in another small flash of light, the Glaive changed into a Morning Star. Churning a bit more magical energy into his weapon, the flames around the head of the weapon grew more intense, Elim charging forward as, with the weapon held in two hands, he began to smash away at the red ice with all of his might, the fiery morning star hopefully doing its damage.

He had no idea for how much longer the red ice would remain revealed, so after five swift, powerful strikes, he jumped up, raised the weapon above his head as he did, and changed it one more time. Now it changed into a Maul. Using his short descent, and with a mighty shout, he slammed the hammer onto the red ice with that jumping attack, but he didn't stop there. He was going to keep swinging the mighty maul, which was slower than the Morning Star, at the red ice until either it broke or the creature started to hide it once again.

In either scenario he would jump off the creature and head back towards Simo to prepare for another rush with his glaive once again.

With Elim wailing on the red ice core, Simo wouldn't have very many clear shots at the thing. What few he did have, he didn't take; As Elim was still far too close for him to be comfortable taking the shot. So he watched and waited. One thing he found fascinating was Elim's ability to change his weapon; changing a sword into a scythe, then a spiky mace, and then a normal mace, was something that the young sniper had never seen before. 'I wonder if it's a skill that could be taught. Or maybe it requires a special kind of weapon to work. In fact, it may just be an ability of the weapon itself. That would certainly be fascinating. I wonder if it could work for guns as well. Not that I'm interested in anything besides a sniper rifle...but still, the possibilities are fascinating. Hell, it seems to be breaking the law of conservation of mass, so a pistol that transforms into a machine gun is starting to sound plausible'

As Serene began to step into the castle the ground under her shook. She looked behind her and there was to her surprise a giant snowman. She also noticed that not all of her comrades where right behind her. Elim yelled out "You heard our 'leader', get her Highness out of here, I'll take on this thing alone, the rest of you will only slow me down". Serene rolled her eye. "Big Shot" She yelled out. Then came another searing pain near her forehead. "Not now!" She yelled and feel to her knees,

There in front of her was to what she now assumed to be her brothers. Three of them playing in the sand making castles. As she... Serene looked down. She could not tell what she was making. But it all seemed like they where having fun. She with out knowing why got up and looked around. Serene was recanting this memory. This one was much stronger than the others. She looked back at her brothers and said. "I really think we need to get out of here." One of her brothers said "Why?" "Aren't you having fun?" The younger Serene replied. "Its not that I just have a really bad feeling right now." The to what she could tell older brother spoke. "You always say that when you are done playing and want to go home." "But this time I am not joking around!" Serene's eye's began to fill with tears. "Something bad is going to happen." "Benji, don't you believe me?" The one that had spoken first looked at her considered and then back at the oldest. "Thane, maybe we should leave." Thane now angry said. "You ALWAYS SIDE WITH HER!!" Benji yelled back. "YEAH BUT WHAT IS IT GOING TO HURT!" "So what if we go home early?" Thane looked over at the one who had not spoken yet. Raphael you are the final decider. He continued to build his castle as he thought. Then Broke out in a joyful voice "I want to finish the town that we are building!" Thane said. " Than it is decided. We will stay! Serene looked over at Benji. He came over and put his arm around her and said cheerfully. "Its okay nothing bad is going to happen." He smiled and said "and if it dose I will protect you!" Serene remembered everything about her brothers. Thane was the oldest. He was headstrong and always loved to tease. But he was the leader of there little gang. Raphael the next was quite but you could always tell when he was in deep thought.. He was also extremely smart cheerful and loving. When they where divide Raphael always side with Thane. Benji was the third oldest and was Serene's best friend. He was her protector.
The weather had changed quickly. The clouds darkened and rain started to pour. Serene spoke. "See what I mean!" They all ran towards home but when the came to the bridge Thane stopped dead in his tracks. Serene yelled from the back "Why did you stop?" As the words came out of her mouth she woke to the present. Serene realized how cold she was she was laying in the snow. As she looked up tears filled her eyes with an overwhelming feeling of loss she could not remember what had happened but she knew it was bad. She told her self to snap out of it now was not the time to grieve. They had a princess to save. Wait where was the princess?

As she got up she heard Olaf's voice. "Um exusse me miss but I don't believe this is the time to be making snow angels." Serene look at him sternly. "I was not making snow angels." "I was having a moment." "What kinda moment?" "Nevermind that where is princess Ana?" "We---ll you did you passie out snow angel thing and Ana told me to watch you while she ran-a-that-a way." Olaf pointed in the direction of the trees. "She WHAT!" "WHY?" Olaf shrugged his shoulders. Serene ran in the direction Anna had head to as Olaf followed.

Elim's weapon, now a morning star, did considerable damage to the red ice, even cracking it in places. In fact it was near a point of shattering which, theoretically, would destroy the giant. Unfortunately, the Gravity Spell wore off before a final blow could be struck, then giant reformed itself and was ready for a third round. This time, though, getting the red ice to appear wouldn't be so easy, as Simo would find his magical stamina to be at its limit, meaning another Gravity spell just wouldn't be possible until he was able to rest, which the giant had no intention giving to the two. Unfortunately, this meant another strategy would be needed to end this fight once and for all.

That opportunity seemed to present itself when the doors to the ice palace flew open, with Elsa running outside fleeing from something. She stopped briefly when she found the bridge to be out, but a single gesture caused the ice to grow back somewhat, giving her a means to descend down to where the giant stood ready to attack. Just as the monster had raised a hand to strike again, it was suddenly halted, "Stop!" Elsa cried, the giant turning to look at its creator in obedience, "They're not intruders, so stand down-" she blinked in surprise, seeing a pool of darkness forming at the creature's feet and slowly overtaking it. Elsa could even feel the control she had over it slowly slip away, "No!" she exclaimed, now thrusting her palms forward. Instead of commanding the creature, she used her power to forcibly tear away at the snow of its body until the red ice was in view, "You must finish it before I lose control! Hurry!"

Meanwhile, as Serene neared the trees, she would hear voice calling, "Psst! Quick, over here!" it was Ana, who was in hiding along with Kristoff and Sven, "So? Is it over now?" asked the Princess, apparently assuming that Serene coming to find her meant that the battle was over.

Moments Earlier

The Pirate Heartless lunged forward, flying right at Jared in a frontal charge. Jared held up the Keyblade defensively, managing to catch the Heartless's attack and redirect it elsewhere. The thing's back was briefly turned toward him, and Jared was quick to take the opportunity to strike at it's back. He also noticed the door was no longer blocked off, "Quick! Go join the others!" he told Elsa, who hesitated, "Just go! I'll catch up as soon I finish here!" Elsa then made for the door. The Pirate Heartless moved to stop her, but Jared was able to put himself between them and force it continue fighting him while she made her escape.

"What's wrong? Scared to fight me so you go after the girl?" taunted Jared before he lunged forward to continue their fight, which had now become a duel between himself and the Pirate Heartless.

The spear Jared had given her had help Serene to get throught the snow quicker. But as she ran she could not help and think of the people that she had now realized she lost. She clinched her teeth and pushed back the tears. This only gave her more determination to fight for these sisters. She had to protect the them. She neared the trees. "Psst! Quick, over here!" it was Ana, who was in hiding along with Kristoff and Sven, "So? Is it over now?" Serene was not sure what to say. She had ran this way in fear for the Princess's safety. But the seemed to be okay. "I don't think so." I came to see if you where safe Princess Ana.
