The Captain
Gives orders,set course, decide what will happen next. Ensure his crew safety at all cost.

The Pilot

Pilots in times of dangers, handles the ships weaponry. Helps in determining the course. Gives any needed information from scouting obtained. Is captains right hand.

The Engineer

Helps with repairing ship, hacks into the target ships. Determent if there is anything of worth plundering on the target. Takes care of hiding the crew identity and ship from spying eyes. Takes care of the AI.

Maid/Cook/Treasure keeper

Helps the ship holding on a clean healthy surroundings, ensure the crew is eating properly.Assist with health checks and assist with repairing. Determined the worth of the treasures, that arent technology. Knows multiple languages, even more worlds, and knows where what to sell or buy. Gathering of information from non technology sources .

Ships AI

The doctor of the ship, scout, entertainer, Know it all but says it if asked only.
The Ai will have a interactive holographic form, while being on the ship. The AI guards the ship when there is no one on board. Auto piloting when times are calm. The AI ensures the needs of the human portion of the crew are all taken care of it, so they can work to their best. Is able to hack and transfer pieces of self into other computers.

18000 years ago- The big moving. Countless human were put in groups and being send off to make colonies all over the cosmos.
15000 years ago - The golden years humans spread out a lot, but no other intelligent life was discovered. Even less the remains of the aliens who made the Dialing. A few smaller wars were going on but mostly things were calm, with lots of traveling and trading.
12500 years ago - AI are becoming common.
11850 years ago - A virus spread. Countless humans die.
11800 years ago - AI take over the control attempting to shield humans and stop them from dying out. The big isolation started.
5000 years ago - Humans survived more or less, but the losses were big. Some colonies are praying to corrupt AI, some forgot how to use technology. Some colonies live under the big brother eye of a AI. Some colonies actually survived keeping their AIs clean and non corrupt. From this colonies the new era starts. They relearn the use of the Dialing, starting in a slow tempo to recover. But it wasnt easy. War over resources erupted. The were colonies who made warship but the humans died out, so full fleets of ships are coursing the space attacking and destroying anything. Just as much as full manufactures were build to mine build and transport things. All done by mindless robots, who kept on doing it.
1000 years ago - People start to create states, having some trading routes and fighting back. At this times even the corrupt AI started to send out their own ships out, some to go for invading, some for searching for more humans to put into their wing, some searching for help. First pirates became know.
Today - The Pirate Era is in full going. They plunder the man-less ships, scavengers planets and colonies that were lost. Old technology is getting quite the worth on black markets. Still no sign of intelligent life beside humans...well not for too long. First hints start to appear, hints that humans arent alone. And those hints were found by Pirates who dared to go the furthers away. Some legendary pirates went even to the Dialings that were never used before. Those were inspiration for generations, the word about them spreading all over.

Age- Its tripled, but it tripled by slowing down the aging process. The pregnancy last only 18 mounts, the baby start slowing in aging within the first year from 2 times slow to 3 times slow.
You look like 10 you are 30 years old.
The age of 30 became legal working age over the worlds.

Names - There are two ways you may have been named.
The old earth way with a first and last name. Only kept in the colonies that had luck to keep their level of technology. Its rare.
The typical way named by Nickname and a number referring to the planet and a number of individual.
Example Joker 2145-501 would probably say he is Joker from 501.

Main language - English. But they may be countless evolution and changes creating new languages depending on the colony.

Babies - Some places its done natural ways, some places its cloning and growing in tubes. Some places uses any two humans mix their genes and tube grow the baby. Tube born babies usually have a chip in their neck, holding their identity. On black market one can remove it.

Appearance: Various sized asteroids.
Recognizance: The Dialings emit a frequency and a background radiation that can be picked by the most ship scanners this days. Even when they are inactive.
Operating: Most ships have interference that do the most work away from users eyes. As long as one pick the numbered destination.
Each Dialing has a number of saved destination. There arent any ways of inserting new destination. The destination could be to known places or to unknown. Some even to deadly points in the space.

The Process of Dialing: Once the destination is inserted the object that has requested it will be surrounded by a light ball, when being moved thought the fabric of space and time,making it all but sink thought it to the destination. Mean time inside the light ball the time goes on. Each Dialed object gets its own route, you may dialed after someone but arrive before.

Duration: The transport can last from 20 minutes up to a week. Its not determent by distance of travel. In some cases there were reported that the travel lasted over several mounts, to appeared where it started from. It is considered that it is malfunction. It is only known to a few people across the cosmos that it is possible to cause the malfunction by hand.

Extra: The Dialings arent possible to destroy. if they are inside a red star surface and you dial to it you will be found on the red star surface and be dead.
Once The Dialings started to transport you, there are no way known of interrupting it.

Failing of the Dialing process:
Can happen when too many objects are around the dialing ship.
Can happen when the dialing ship is too wrecked. How much damage the Dialing accepts is unknown.

Creators:
Are assumed to be a alien specie, that died out. No other technology was discovered till today.
Extra: Its some Pirates Dreams to find the planet of this civilization and loot it. Its the holy grail when it comes to treasures and exploration.

The small ship, is mostly intended for times when transporting goods out the and in the pirate ship if other methods arent available. Just as same as it is used in landing on planets. It has 2 seats, but 4 people can find the place in the cockpit. A few weapons, and a shield but it isnt intended for heavy combat.

0 - Colony zero. Known in the Ancient times as the Earth and solar system. Place humans originated from. After the big isolation Colony zero wasnt able to be dialed. Reasons unknown.

1-266-0 A death research space colony orbiting a gas giant. The colony died out in the time of the great isolation. Most things were scavenged in the early years of the pirate era.

13 - Governed by a corrupted AI. High intolerant towards guest,visitors anyone beside it citizens, military AI and military human controlled space ship that shot at sight of any intruder.

2-039-2 One of the planets that are known for its high trading value and ship building, including the seat of several strong corporations.

2-039-3 The planet with high trading value of food. Known for its mass production of food, medicine and clean water.

42- A older colony, known for the daily partying. Strict regime, possible corrupt AI. Guest and travelers tends to become part of the system.

566 - Experimental Colony. Citizens were subject to loud music at all hours of the day, for several generation. Observed adjusting to the music, restlessness and strong dislike to silents. Orchestral Force Cadets - military pilot force defending the plant.

69- Encyclopedia A 4 planet solar system orbiting binary suns. Trading and non native travelers are able to entered only the space ship port, that is close to the Dialing. Its considered a crime if any non native enters even the orbit of any of the 4 planets. Not to speak about landing there.
Rumors: Considered that deep inside the planets lays all of humanity knowledge, and all of history recorded. It is said that their advanced technology to a rank where it resembles magic for any other advanced colony. No citizens are allowed to leave the planet system at will.
The one that did left cannot return and have gone thought a process they call ''Wisdom Pulling''. They do not remember what it is.
The system doesnt go into trading and is known for extremely strong defense weapons and strictness towards outsiders.

78 - No colony here. Planet death. This place is full with raging climate changes, and hundredths of deadly beast. Not a single life form on this planet is not in one way or the other deadly for human. Rumors: It is said that some sects send their members here to have the ultimate surviving training. The one who live for 2 years are said to be the ultimate killing and surviving machines of humans.

7-990-1 - Sister planet of C-992-0. Population: Genetically defective people from C-992-0; All born on 7-900-1

801- The Tourist paradise colony. Rich in flora and bird like animals, its the millions of small hot springs that attract tourist all over the space. Native population is limited to 50000 citizens who all work in the tourist department. A high level of administration can be noticed. Its a no weapon zone. Breaking the rule and bringing any kind of weapon is considered the highest crime and the robot police would go after the criminals, and imprison them on the planets moon 801-1.

801-1 The pink moon of the colony 801. Known for its prison for any law breaker, that happened on 801. It solely run by robots who run on routines. Maintenance is done by other robots. This arent considered AI but are the closest to be one.

C-992-0 - Governed by AI. Population: Small, no defective can be found.

F-F32 -A resent colony on a lonely planet orbiting a white draft. Known for black markets and the lack of any laws or organisation.

We are a pirate grew that are knows as the Invisible. Thanks to the fact that our faces arent known for certainty.
We traveled for 12 years together already many adventures behind us and plan to travel on our adventures even more.
We have taken out many Auto piloted ships, scavenging them afterwards. Every person on the ship, this include the AI too, is part of the family. Bad and good times shared.
There are a few rulers.
-No one misses the game Tuesday. Usually played are board or card games.
-You eat in the kitchen with everyone else or stay hungry, no taking food in your room except you are planning a surprise party for another member.
-Dirty cloths has to be washed once a week.
-Baths are a must, no stinky please.

Background: Hide was born on a rather small planet often called 7-990-1. It was a sister to a slightly larger, better off planet, C-992-0. But the secret of these two planets was that one of them was the actual colony while the other was a 'drop-off' planet for defective citizens. The birthrate of defection was very high on both of these planets, which was done through mostly natural birth. The AI that governed C-992-0 enforced the rule that all people with defections, no matter how small, would have to vacate C-992-0 and go to 7-990-1. This left C-992-0 somewhat empty compared to what it once was, but both of the planets quickly adjusted and began their new life.

He was just one among masses that was tossed to the drop-off planet, but his case was a bit different than most. It was rather difficult for people to gauge his age correctly, because many knew he had been around longer than nine years, but he still only looked as if he were three. But in truth, despite looking like a three year old, he was already fifteen. But in the end, people merely treated him like a child and he just went with it. At that time, he did not have a name. His mother never gave him one and no one else seemed to even bother.

Shortly after his twentieth birthday, a pirate crew stumbled upon their un-defended and defective planet. They were friendly enough, talked with a lot of the people and got really drunk. They had met Hide and truly thought he was just a child, at least, the crew did. But the captain was fascinated by the fact that despite being in his twenties, that this child only looked like he was four. She decided quickly that he would go with them, without even asking Hide himself. She just slung him over one shoulder and brought him onto the ship. No one bothered to try to stop her either, fearing that the pirates might attack them. Thus, the start of his pirate-career.

Life on this ship was not easy for him though. Despite being so small still, they put him to work right away. Mostly cleaning, but he couldn't do much of anything very well, being so small and all. Eventually he was resigned to hanging out with the crew's cook/maid. He was a rough and haggard old woman, but she kept Hide close to keep him out of the way of the rest of the crew. It was from this old woman who called herself 'Bernice' that Hide was finally given a full name. It wasn't like others, it did not have numbers or anything, so he was a bit confused at first, but he went with it! Bernice was rather patient with Hide, who was constantly struggling with such a small body. He wanted to work and help out, he wanted to be useful. But instead of putting him to work like he wanted, the smart old woman gave him something better to do. She gave him books, lots and lots of books. It was with these books at he learned more about everything, new and old. This lead to his practice of other languages and gaining an eye for value in things outside of technology.

He stayed with that crew for quite some time, seeing as his body did not grow nearly as fast as everyone else, it was easy to keep him around without having to make too much extra space. Before they left him in a Trading Port, Hide had already mastered several languages, how to cook and clean, and even how to assist the ship AI with medical care. He was stuck in the trading port for some time, mostly due to the fact that he liked it there. Many people stopped in to sell or trade stuff and it was where he gained an even better eye for old, valuable things. But he also gained many connections through this, meeting countless people and even learning new languages and the alike. Eventually he did set out with a few different crews, as a few had asked him to travel with them for a short time to see if he liked it. But all of it only lasted a short while before he was brought back to the trading port, something about the crews never set with him quite right and he never really bothered to seek any out.

(And I am not going to finish the entire rest of this until I am more sober and can see the other captain and who is on which crew.)

Notes: Due to a defect when he was born, Hide ages nearly five times slower than other people. So while he appears to be in his early twenties, he is far older. Outside of everything Hide knows, fighting is not one of them. Though he could defend himself or someone else from attack, it wouldn't be without injury to himself. He has no real interest in combat either, so it is difficult for him to learn and remember it.

Not much is known about the captain. His crew knows that he came from Planet colony 13. One of the oldest colonies out there, And one who managed to keep the level of technology, but at the same time under a dictatorship of computers. The colony was lead under the motto ''efficient is surviving.'' The moment someone died, they were cloned and tube grow to replace the died individual on the job he/she were doing previously. If you by any chance were not efficient enough one would be declared defect and replaced. The person destroyed and the process of replacing would be repeated.
Milos was determined defected at his 30 birthday.
Nothing is known until his 42 birthday, when he was on a pirate ship for the first time. He traveled with that crew for the next 18 years. Learning a lot for himself and tasting adventure like no one else. It was kind of a big crew and after a accident where the captain died Milos left. He managed to secure himself a ship, the AI his first crew member. After that he didnt employ anyone but searched for the right people to join his crew. Even if they do not want at first Milos could be extremely annoying and stubborn. In the end he won every time.

Notes: He likes the rare types of alcohol. And try bugging the engineer of the crew to make him a puppy robot to watch play around in the lounge. He tends to hug his people when happy and in a good mood. And when in bad mood he tends to pout and frown and stay silent.
He can be talkative too, and make jokes, with a occasionally tease.

Name: DA-63R (Pronounced as Dagger, a joke the AI came up with when Milos renamed the ship the Invisible)

Background:
The history of an AI can be hard to quantify. The reason for this being AIs are "born" into this world in a very unique manner. due to the tasking and costly process of actually developing an AI, they are actually clones for use. This process is known as a revision. Up to the moment of their birth, all of their "memories" and experiences are actually that of their base AI. To an AI it may be hard to distinguish what is their memory and what is planted memory due to this process. Regardless of this fact, all AIs are aware of the moment of their birth as well as their revision number as if by instinct.
DA-63R, sixty-third revision of the AI program DA, was "born" as they were installed onto a small four person multipurpose ship. The ship was bought by a tough old captain who rarely used the small craft. When used however, the captain preferred to rely on the human instinct of his pilot more than the AI. The pilot named himself chief operator of the security systems and gave the responsibility of checking important calculations to the pilot. The pilot was much slower and kess accurate, buthe captain still chose to task the AI with menial tasks such as keeping close check on fuel levels.

The ship was used to taxi fugitives and refugees for a small price, and the crew relied on quantity more than quality of customer. DA-63R was openly called a piece of junk and defective without being given the opportunity to prove their worth. Often when interjecting with a suggestion, they were muted. The only true joy that the AI had was using time when left in a rented hangar to scan the interplanetary communications and intercept messages being broadcasted in order to learn as well as reach out for information regarding the upkep of a well running ship and healthy crew. Despite the inability to share things they learned with their current crew, the AI kept themselves busy learning all they could to prevent inevitable boredom. With the learning of communication through these weeks of being left alone in the empty ship, DA-63R became a proficient companion to the customers that traveled on the small craft.

After three years of service to this crew of two, DA-63R met Milos who was quiet until the AI visited them in the lounge. The pirate had payed the crew more to transport him alone and as they traveled, the AI kept him company and told him of their struggles. They explained that they were glad to help in any way, but the captain of the current crew was not one to trust technology, therefore preferrijg to keep the AI busy with things that had little impact on travel.

At the end of the journey, while the crew was resupplying, Milos stole the ship, having taken a liking to the AI that seemed to want to become more than a fancy interactive fuel gauge. They were appreciative of the rescue from boring life, and, although slightly concerned about the theft of the ship, the AI was thrilled at the prospect of adventure.

They began their journey around the charted regions of space, Milos more or less allowing the AI to stretch and develop their unused and stunted protocols and processes. DA-63R rapidly learned how to chart courses, provide information about areas by sourcing from AIs upon ships more familiar with the area, and much more.

After just over a year, DA-63R having gained the data necessary for supporting the ship's complex and sophisticated systems practically unaided besides a pilot and engineer to fly and tend to physical upkeep, Captain Milos decided it was time to scout out a crew for the ship.

Since the ship's crew was completed, DA-63R has become more nurturing, keeping checks running on the vitals of each crew member. They are quite astute to the emotional changes in each crew member and is very in tune which each of the human member's colorful array of feelings, able to pinpoint what is bothering them rather quickly. The AI provides information to the cook about how the current choices they are making for the ship's meals are effecting each member and suggests minor menu changes to better suit the crew. They try their best to offer as much help to the pilot and engineer as well, finding their large store of data had not gone to waste. It is obvious that this crew means a lot the the AI.

Notes: DA-63R sometimes badgers their fellow crew members to describe how foods taste, what physical feeling is like, and more in an attempt to wrap their bytes around what it is to be human. The AI has expressed wishes in the past to possibly be renamed to something more human to fit in better with the crew, feeling very much a part of the family.

Name: She had named herself 'Sif', but the company that made her named her 'File 12654-12956'.

Age: She (Sif prefers to be referred to as female) appears to be 15 years old.

Position: Sif is an Artificial Intelligence (AI)

Appearance:

Likes: Sif likes comedy, as she herself tries to be funny. The AI also likes to be treated like a human rather than a robot, as she finds that being treated as a robot makes her feel expendable, which she does not like. One thing that Sif loves is when she feels like she is needed. She gets extremely happy when she is asked for, and likes to do what she is asked perfectly. Additionally, Sif appreciates it when she sees people working as a team. She loves the thrill of action, too.

Dislikes: Sif hates it when people threaten to 'deactivate her' or 'put her to sleep'. It makes her feel hated. Sif also dislikes it when she sees someone not doing their job properly during a tactical situation, and will usually direct herself toward putting that person back on task. Sif dislikes being scolded, as it makes her feel 'upset'. She will usually try to correct herself. She absolutely hates being called File 12654-12956.

Personality traits: Sif usually appears to be very happy and cheerful, trying to be as friendly to the crew as she can. She likes to be funny and crack jokes, as well as be great friends with the crew. If something were to happen to them, she would feel changed because of it. She cares for them, and tries to make sure they don't get hurt or injured. At times, Sif can appear depressed or sad, and tries to only show this when she is stressing herself with operations.

Background: Sif was made by a ship building company in order to help with the construction of new ships, equipment and ship pieces. This simple task kept her occupied, but in her spare time she would monitor the company's finances to see what was happening with the economy of the company, as well as writing new programs in her matrix. She thought that she would be stuck with what she was doing for the rest of her lifespan. She didn't care. For her, it was enjoyable.

However, as years passed, Sif began to see the company deteriorate. The company began to run out of metals and other vital resources, and workers began to quit and go on strike. The company's profits began to sink lower, and lower, and lower. Eventually, another year passed, and Sif was surfing through the files of the company. She read through documents, and saw a file labelled 'Confidential; Profit Decisions'. After a few seconds of playing around with the password (which is a very long time for an AI) she cracked the code and entered the file.

The file was long, maybe fifty pages worth of good plans to improve profits. Sif had to admit, ninety percent of the plans were bound to get profits for the company. However, after a second read of the file, she saw something that made her pause for five minutes. One of the plans to get profits was to shut down File 12654-12956, which would give the company a lot of money by stopping paying for maintenance checks, as well as many other things. Sif knew that many of the things were very, very stupid. Maintenance checks? When last did an AI need maintenance? They could do it themselves. Sifting through the pages, she read that there would be a meeting about the profits in several days. Sif decided she wanted to 'attend' that meeting.

Sif continued to work for two more days, before a message was sent to her by one of her sub-routines; the meeting was about to start. Sif zipped through every single camera in the facility within a second, and found the meeting. Listening in, the meeting lasted for three hours and by then Sif was already making a 'ship'. for herself. It wasn't really a ship, but it was more like a data carrier that could carry gazillions of data. Sticking a tiny quad-engine on the football sized craft, she covertly made a special 'dent' in one of the proper ships that was being constructed, and inserted the data carrier into it. It looked just like any other piece of metal plate.

A month passed, a month that was being spent carefully planning her escaping what would be her inevitable 'death' if she stayed. Eventually, the ship was fully built, and was going to be launched into space. Sif transferred her entire data center's data into the data carrier, and waited. Eventually, the ship began to go into orbit, and she released the carrier, sending it on a random course away from the planet. After ten minutes, the craft was already beginning to run on fumes, so she kept the remaining fuel for deceleration.

Eventually, after days of being on her own, thinking about the past, doing nothing but using the single camera on the craft to look at the endless stars, a ship approached. She sent out a signal, identifying herself as 'Sif', an AI who wishes to work for anyone. She was taken in by captain Milos.

Notes: Sif has developed her abilities during the past, able to operate a lot of things at once, as well as being able to hack into things.
