Emlyn grinned proudly talking about his sister, and some of that pride leaked over into Auriel's mention of his own brother. For a moment though, and only a moment did this happiness last. His smile quickly soured, and he shook his head as if to regain his composure. He might have snapped at Auriel even, as if from nowhere, but the oncoming turn of attitude was cut off by an even stranger occurrence.

Auriel brought it to words a few moments after Emlyn had noticed it. The ground had indeed moved, or at least it felt as though it had. He balanced himself against Mirror, looking around. He filed through his mind for anything that fit the circumstance, and all sources came up Grimm.

He was not mistaken. At the sight of the Datura, his eyes widened in shock. It looked damaged? Or old perhaps? He wasn't sure, his mind was buzzing too much to hold on to a stable thought for long. This was no minor enemy, no spry Itzamna to outmaneuver. This was a monster by definition, a terrifying beast that could, if it chose, destroy them. And yet it chose not to do so. It spared them only a passing glance before lumbering on, like it was searching for something.

Emlyn felt his hands shake, and it was a few moments before he caught them, and tried to steady them into fists to little effect. He gulped, clutched Mirror tighter, and looked to Auriel. Dammit, why did he look to Auriel? He was in control, he didn't really need this other boy. It must have been a reflex, simple as that, a reflex to...to make sure his ally was alright, yeah. He had to double check on him. Just in case.

"W-we should..." he cursed himself for stuttering a bit, but the way he was still in control, still able to craft his words and his tone into a suggestion. He made himself sound as if he were going to issue some sort of command, but still left room for Auriel to finish it with, what he hoped, would be a good plan.

The constant bouncing from rock to rock did speed up Laura's climb to the mountain's peak. As fun as the ascending and descending happened to be though, it was quite tiring. Several minutes after her initial start the girl gracefully landed upon the smooth stoney ground of the mountain to regain her breathe and relax. It was during this time that she first felt it. The ground seemed to... rumble under her bared feet, shaking like some kind of giant creature was walking along its surface. This vibrating only grew more and more intense. An earthquake was unlikely... perhaps it was the work of a Grimm? No sooner than she came to such a conclusion did she see it. The head of the giant datura, incomplete as it was, startled the blonde with his presence. Thanks to her position up on a ledge of the mountain, she could see near eye to eye with the monstrous plant... yet it ignored her.

The fact it had no interest in her at all was almost insulting. Surely she was a prize for any Grimm... but, the relief of not having to fight it right then and there dulled the offensive actions. That relief was short lived, as no sooner than the massive creature took another step did the astute girl's eyes fall upon something strange poking out of the plant like mass of the datura. It was a playing card. A very out of place looking playing card, wedged into the side of its head like some kind of accessory. Realization dawned on her soon after.

"You motherfucker..." She hissed under her breathe at no one in particular. That had to be the relic they were after. The chance of it being random trash caught in the grimm's biomass was there, but why would a card be on a remote mountain otherwise? Each relic was supposed to have a guardian though, so perhaps the staff at Beacon had chosen this as its guardian. She needed to get that card if that was the case. Walking to the very edge of her cliff, she looked down at what appeared to be two other students, staring up at the monster in awe as it casually strolled down the mountain side, shaking the earth with its weight.

"The treant has the relics!" She shouted to the boys below, dust crackling off her body and igniting her tattoos in a bright white light once more. As much as she hated to admit it, she probably wouldn't fair well against the beast alone. Perhaps she could snag the relic by working with these two, leaving them to distract it while she pilfered the card and ran off to return to Beacon. It was a pragmatic, if dastardly plan. One she intended upon executing.

Crack, smash, slice. This was the sound of Trico systematically annihilating the first of the pack of Beowulfs she had come across. They had been drawn to the great deal of noise she was making, and could not have come at a better time, for her. The Grimm she was currently beheading however, would think it was not so good. With the bladed boomerang socketed into the staff, Trico was able to dance. Fluid, beautiful, yet macabre. As the Beowulf's head flew away from it's neck, Trico kicked it towards the rest of the pack, who aptly dodged it, only for it to do a u-turn and collide into another Beowulf's back solidly, pitching him across the floor with it's weight.
"Anything launched by me is a projectile, and I have ultimate control over projectiles" She told them, not quite sure why, but it felt good. With a quick flourish, Trico flicked the blood from her Scythe and smiled, keeping her eyes on the ones she could see, and her ears on the ones she couldn't. "I have a special place in my heart for Beowulfs. You helped me get away from...that place..." She muttered, and then spun around and ducked, the charging Beowulf behind her missing it's target and getting disembowelled on the fly-over, letting out a few weak yelps before collapsing. "Not that you won't get killed to the last man....err...Grimm...if you try anything but still." She finished, smiling and flicking back her hair, now slick with the blood of the wolf. She could hear more things in the woods, They sounded like Ursa, and some of them boar things she had heard about. But they would have to wait their turn.

Softly, keeping a level head, she moved her Scythe so the head near-touched the ground. Anger led to mis-steps, mis-steps led to death, and she had come though to much to die now.
"So, how do you lot think Laura is doing? She seemed very much a snooty cow, but was a good fighter. I think she'd make a brilliant partner if she could just deal with that attitude of hers" Trico said to the Beowulfs, who didn't seem to appreciate her insight and attacked in a group of three. Trico then pulled her handle up, launching the Scythe blade at the middle monster, while spinning the now-bladeless staff forward into the second creatures throat, caving it in with the weight of the metal and then spilling a small dose of it's blood onto the ground. However, the third Beowulf raked it's claws across her side, drawing a great deal of blood and electing a cry of pain from Trico. She was never good at defensive aura techniques, and here it came to bite her in the ass. Or claw her in the side, whatever. The other Beowulf closed in around her, the smell of blood emboldening them, snarling and snapping at their to-be prey.
"Crap" she muttered, catching the returning boomerang and remaking her true Scythe.

Aaaaand Emlyn was now functionally useless. Great. "Yeah, we should probably not die. In order to do so, we ignore this giant plant-monster...because apparently we're not worth it. Fine by me, I wasn't in the mood for getting my ass kicked anyway." Smirking as he started to put his sword away, a voice from above made him groan and hang his head just a little.

"The treant has the relics!"" Of course it did. Of fucking course it did. This was ridiculous. Utterly ridiculous. Once again readying himself, Auriel looked up at the source of the yelling, getting a glimpse of a girl with glowing tattoos all over her body. As if this day hadn't been crazy enough, with half of a freaking mountainside standing up and revealing itself to be possibly one of the most deadly Grimm in existence. Bullshit. Just. Fucking. Bullshit. He could only be glad that it wasn't a particularly large Datura. The thing was probably only a few years old. He'd heard of ones bigger than the mountain he was standing on with Emlyn. If he ever had to fight one of those, he'd probably just turn his sword on and eviscerate himself. It'd just be quicker to die that way.

"Yeah, that's...uhhh...what the hell?" His seriousness broke for a minute as he tried to comprehend the recent events. It wasn't possible to do so, really. It couldn't be. But, as fast as it had gone, it was back. He had no clue what this girl was capable of, but he and Emlyn had a relic to grab. This girl could find her own. "Alright, Emlyn, Datura. Big...tree monster. To kill it, you kinda just gotta cut it apart, or like any other thing, destroy its head. I don't really know HOW the hell you cut....THAT THING apart, but there's gotta be some way. The head thing doesn't look to be in great shape either. We don't have time to waste. You gotta go to town on that thing with your Mirror. I'll try and get on its back and do some damage. Keep its focus off of me." He knew doing as much was close to suicide, but he still had plenty of Aura energy in reserve. As long as he was careful with it, he could probably take a few hits from this thing before he got crushed like a bug. He wasn't sure about Emlyn, though, so he hoped the chakram wielder would keep his distance.

Looking up at the glowing girl, he called to her. "HEY! LET'S BE CAREFUL ABOUT THIS, THESE THINGS ARE THE STUFF OF LEGEND! IT MIGHT JUST BE A BUNCH OF TREES AND BUSHES, BUT COMPARED TO IT, WE'RE NOTHING BUT A FEW FLIES! I'M NOT SURE WHAT SORTA WEAPON YOU GOT, BUT IF YOU CAN GET IT FROM A DISTANCE, DO SO! I'M GONNA JUMP ON ITS BACK!" As he finished his directions, he took off sprinting after the Datura, ready to fight. When he got close, he jumped, Blinking his way up to the monster, and stabbed his sword into its 'flesh', giving himself a sort of hold on it to pull himself up. Kicking his armored foot into the Grimm, he slowly climbed up onto its arched back, activating his sword and beginning to drill into the monster, screaming in a mixture of emotions he could hardly describe.

Another voice broke his concentration, this one unfamiliar. He whipped around to look up at the girl who had shouted at them, and suddenly he found much of his fear washing away. What was it replaced with? Infatuation? Pride? Bah! No, Emlyn filled with incredulity. Who the hell was this girl supposed to be that she just happened upon them. Did she have a partner with her? Was this the other half of their team? Perhaps, but he knew one thing for sure, if that wasn't the case, that relic belong to him. And Auriel. Him and Auriel, right.

His mind cleared up again as he glanced to the Datura. "Wait, we ought to-" and Auriel was gone, blinking away. Dammit, that might have come in handy for him if he hadn't used it on the Itzamnas earlier. No matter, he had his plan set, and he could adjust to work off of Auriel's actions. Perhaps having a partner was going to be more helpful than he thought.

He dashed, circling around the giant to get a better view of its back, casting one or two glances at the girl. Was she going to be useful, or was she going to wait? She didn't look to have any sort of weapon on her that he could see, which was troubling. He didn't put her out of his mind, but he did refocus onto the beast for the moment. Killing it didn't seem incredibly necessary, that just needed the card on its back. Dammit, if they'd have been subtler about it, he could have scaled the monster quietly and snatched it, he thought. But instead he waited, trying to spot an opening not to attack, but to board.

The same grinding noise that caught Kuhaku's attention alerted Abel that, predictably, the mecha was still online. Abel supposed that he had never really thought that simple rocks could penetrate its metal armor, but had fooled himself into believing so to focus on Bridgett and Kuhaku instead. Now that the mecha was online, he finally had something breakable to vent at.

“TARGET ACQUIRED

Before Abel could begin his assault, however, Kuhaku had already reached him. The guardian rolled his eyes; courage was admirable, but if this Faunus had no self-preservation instincts, both protecting and sympathizing with him would be a lot harder. Abel sprinted forward when his new partner effectively disarmed the mecha by forcibly realigning its miniguns into the ground. As he approached, he attentively watched the Faunus embed his sword in the fearsome machine's torso, ram it in deeper with his shield, and push himself off the thing's armor to flip through the air. His urgent request echoed through the tunnel. If Gren and Bridgett weren't already on their way, they would be now.

Eager to help any way he could, Abel had already leveled the Ampere at the stuck sword before he realized just how terrible an idea it was. The guardian guessed that his comrade wanted him to supercharge his sword with electricity, channeling the energy to the machine's core to fatally disrupt it, but a lightning bolt wasn't so easily directed. In conditions as dry as these, Abel had minimal control over where his electricity went once discharged, meaning it would seek the nearest conductive material in an effort to find ground. The chance that the bolt would behave perfectly and hit the sword was unattractively slim. Worse, since humans are more than two-thirds water, the bolt could just as easily strike Abel.

Deciding not to take his chances, Abel flipped the Ampere over in his hand and held it like a javelin, though it was still in staff mode. He then allowed his remaining aura to surge through it. By the time Kuhaku landed, confused as to why Abel had not yet unleashed the wrath of the heavens upon the robot, Abel had sufficiently charged the dust crystal at the Ampere's core—but the mecha had also pulled itself together. As it rose to its full height, scattering debris everywhere and readying its miniguns to reduce Abel and Kuhaku to bloody ribbons, the guardian saw the Faunus's sword glint in the radiated azure light. Grunting, he threw the Ampere and guided it with his semblance. The weapon sailed over Kuhaku's head and weakly bopped against the inserted blade.

That wimpy impact proved enough for the Ampere to discharge, however. All at once, the electricity stored in the weapon flooded through Kuhaku's sword and into the mecha. The robot's circuits in its torso flash-fried, and the machine guns span to a halt, unable to fire.

Abel raised his open hand, and threads of energy flashed between his fingers and the Ampere. The falling weapon shot toward him, spinning like a boomerang, and landed in his glove with a smack. He took the last few steps separating him and Kuhaku and stood beside him. He switched the Ampere to blade more, and it clanged into position with a metallic note of finality. “Let's get this over with.”

Robert saw Priscilla use her semblance to phase up the cliff and Greyson use his weapon to launch himself to the top. "Alright, I got this," he said out loud. He approached the wall and tried to grab onto a pocket in the wall. He continued climbing the wall until he was about a foot off the ground, then he fell. "Ahh!" he said before falling on his ass. He brushed the dirt off and tried again. This time making it about three feet off the ground, before falling again. "Arg. Okay, this time," he said as he tried to climb a third time. This time though he used the blades on his bracers to make his own pockets. Slowly, Robert ascended. It wasn't until he was about 25 feet up the cliff that an idea hit him. "Um, Tai, do you have a better way to get up there?"

Brigett tried to listen to the Faunus offering he a hand up, but due to the explosions right next to her, and the roof collapsing all around her, picking out individual words was difficult. She got that his name was Gren and he was trying to apologize for something. Shaking her head a little her brain starts to put together what happened, piecing together the chaos of the last few minutes. She tries to reach up to take his hand, but it doesn't move. Confused, she looks down at it. Numb, immobile, probably shock, not good. She reaches up her other hand to let the newcomer help her up. "Bridgett, Bridgett Belle. I'll... be alright." She realizes she is probably a little louder than necessary.

Looking over at the pile off rubble she lets out an exasperated sigh, "You know, now we have to dig..." It is then, of course, that the gargantuan war machine shoulders its way out from under the earthen pile. Facing away from her she clearly hears its threatening bellow, and sees the other faunus dash up and hold its new weaponry down. Scooping up her weapon from the ground she pulls out a large length of chain and flings it around the base of one leg of the beast. She turns to Gren, using her head to gesture to the other end of Rakurai, and shouts "Help me out here! If we can pull out its legs we might be able to buy enough time to let the others rip it apart!"

They walked along, Tai falling silent as Greyson explained how it was he aimed to get up the cliff. He accepted it, but he wondered how well that would actually work in practice. Still, the only way to find that out was to actually get there so he could put his skill in display. And fortunately for them that didn't take long.

Priscilla and Greyson did just as they had said, using their weapons to boost their momentum against gravity and blast their way to the top. Meanwhile, Robert began climbing, made it a bit of the way up, and then decided that that would be a good time to ask him if he had a better way up the cliff. Tai almost rolled his eyes, getting a feeling that this lack of thought before action was going to be very typical of his partner. He'd have to keep a better eye out than before.

So he got to work, extending his weapons and swinging one of the heads around, faster and faster in a vertical arc until it had built up sufficient speed, at which point he threw it up, the head slamming into the mountainside and acting as an anchor. Tai then charged forward, slinging the other spiked ball ahead of him higher up, ripping the first out with chunks of rock as he fairly ran up the cliff. It was a process he repeated until he was at the top, at which point he stopped to get a few breaths before turning back and dropping his weapons down to Robert, the extended ball and chain, so he could grab on and be pulled up.

As Kuhaku landed, he safely rolled backwards towards Abel. Remaining in a low crouch as the dust he disturbed from his landing swirled around him, he peered over his shield to see that Abel had not yet attacked the mech. He frowned, confused. Turning to look at Abel, he was about to question why he was taking so long and what he was waiting for. But, he remained silent as he watched Abel hold his weapon as if he were about to throw it, charging it with his Aura. It seems that Kuhaku had misunderstood the human's powers, and that there was more to it than he knew. Blinking curiously, he watched intently as Abel threw his weapon at the mech, grunting as he did. With his weapon sailing over his head, Kuhaku's hazel eyes followed the path of the staff in the air. As it made contact with his sword embedded in the mech's torso, Kuhaku quickly ducked underneath his shield as a precaution.

With a bright flash, the staff discharged the moment it hit his sword. Crackling and sparking loudly as energy coursed through the mech's body, temporarily disabling it. Looking over his shield after the flash, he watched with amazement as Abel recalled his weapon to him using his Aura.

"Aww, I wish I could do that. That would come real handy right about now..." Kuhaku complained internally.
Kuhaku stood as Abel approached him, his staff changing into a different form.
"Let's get this over with." Abel said with finality.
Smirking, Kuhaku nodded in agreement.
"Let's."
Turning away from Abel to refocus on the mech, it was then that they noticed a chain had shot out and wrapped itself around one of its legs. Shouting rising from the other side of the pile of rubble.
"That can't be good" fretted Kuhaku.
"Do they intend on tripping that thing up?..."

Seeing that his sword still remained in the mech's chest, if the other two team members were to pull the mech in their direction there was a possibility that it could fall forward on top of his blade. Which, wasn't ideal at all. As effective as his shield was for a back-up weapon if he lost his sword, his combat ability would be dramatically reduced. For one, Kuhaku wasn't about to lose his sword and any reduction in ability during this test would spell certain doom. Facing Abel, he tapped the human's shoulder once with his right hand.

"Hey, big guy. Do you mind giving me a boost? It looks like the other two are going to try and pull that thing down. Before they do that, I need my sword back. Just stick your weapon out and I'll balance myself on it. I hope you're as strong as you look, because I'm going to need you to toss me up there." Kuhaku gestured towards his embedded sword.
Abel stared at Kuhaku silently for a few seconds, Kuhaku doing the same.
Nodding once in silent understanding, Abel wielded his weapon as asked.

Grinning, Kuhaku slung his shield onto his back and swiftly leapt onto the flat blade of Abel's weapon. The weapon dipped slightly before Abel adjusted his grip and strength. Balanced onto a relatively small space he looked at Abel, grinning still.
"Oh, and I hope you also have good AI-" before he could finish his words, Abel spun around once. Using the momentum of the spin, his body weight and strength, he swung his weapon in a wide arc to fling Kuhaku into the air. Not exactly ready for the launch, Kuhaku attempted to correct himself in midair. He failed, slamming face-flat against the mech.
"Well, at least he had good aim." Kuhaku sighed, exasperated.

As he slowly slid off the slick metal and began to fall, Kuhaku quickly utilized his claws and scrabbled at the mech's body. Finding a hold, he quickly climbed its torso and made his way to his sword. Hanging from the gun barrels he bent earlier with one arm, he reached and grabbed hold of his trapped sword's hilt. Placing his feet against the mech's torso, he tensed his body and growled as he tugged, trying to pull it free. His grip slipped off of the hilt and he puffed, panting from his effort.

"Damn it, why did I have to bury it in so deep?" he cursed. Letting go of the gun barrels, he dropped and stood balanced on the spine of his sword.
"Sorry for this, Kladenets." with a few, swift downward kicks of his boot, he knocked it partially free. With the sword slanted at an angle, the sudden jerking and movement of the mech nearly caused Kuhaku to fall off. Sticking his tongue out of the corner of his lips, he clung to the mech's torso and reoriented himself. Reaching down, he grabbed his sword and was finally able to pull it free. "Whoo! Got it!" he cheered to himself, grinning.

Giving his sword a twirl, he quickly sheathed it into his shield on his back. Readjusting his grip, he began to scale the front of the mech. Climbing up to its gouged out face, he stuck out his tongue and blew a raspberry at it. Laughing, he continued his climb and crawled over the mech's shoulder. Looking over the mech's back, he called out to Gren and the female human. "Hey! Whatever you guys are planning on doing, do it now! I'm ready for you!" Almost slipping again, he angrily dug his claws in anywhere he could and stayed. Hanging onto the mech as best as he could.

Trico leant on her Scythe as the Beowulfs circled her, panting and groaning as she did so. Then, as if taking the opening of her sudden onset on exhaustion, the Beowulf that had clawed her moved in rapidly, looking to take her head. It drew close, and the anticipation was palatable from the Beowulfs. And then, it was all over. The Beowulf laid in three parts, it's hand severed from it's arm, and then it's body sliced cleanly in half. Between the bi-sected Beowulf, Trico stood with blazing eyes, a deep grin on her face as she did so. There was no words now, no words sufficed, only action. With a growl to rival the 'Wulfs, she charged into the battle, Death would visit this place, for her or them, she didn't not yet know. But it would.

*~*

Sat on the decimated corpse of the last 'Wulf, Trico wallowed in a mixture of her own blood and the blood of the creatures. The stench of guts and the overwhelming warmth that always filled an battlefield this size was a mere distraction, not that she could do anything about it right now. Blood poured from her wounds, a large cut on her chest and a relatively deep one on her arm where new additions, but Trico paid them little mind.
"Your bleeding" a voice echoed, a voice Trico knew well.
"Really? And here I thought it was tree sap" She muttered. Not that she didn't have a bit of tree sap on her, the Scythe had caught a trunk at one point and spilled it. What that would attract, wasn't her first worry.
"Still so sarcastic. Even when no one is around" The voice commented, with a soft laugh.
"It's how life was meant to be lived" She replied, looking up with a smile of her own. Of course, there was nothing there, but still. The noise from the Mountain was a problem, not that she could help much now, but she needed to. Even that Dust-bint Laura was her partner, and abandoning her partner, wasn't a permanent idea. "Ally-oop" she muttered, standing from what remained of the Beowulf with some effort and heading to the mountain.

"Of course!" Gren shouted in irritation as the mech rose from the rubble. He let out a breath of exasperation as readied The God Eater to counter fire when he girl, Bridgett Belle, threw her chains at the mech's legs. He figured out quickly that she wanted to get it off it's feet. Good to him; he only had a few rockets left and wanted to save for for other dangers. Grabbing his chain, Gren braced himself and pulled. It was the combined strength of him and Bridgett against the mech. To ensure that the cards were stacked in their favor, Gren focused his Semblance onto the mech again, this time using an opposite effect than last time; instead of making the mech rooted to the spot he made it so that the mech's massive weight and feet could not keep it still. With no friction between the mech's feet and the ground, it was a simple matter for Gren and Bridget to pull the mech's legs from underneath itself.

The mech fell and Gren kept his focus on it to ensure that it couldn't get up; every attempt to brace itself met with failure as it's own hands couldn't get a grip on the ground in front of it. Anything that the mech tried to tough slipped out of it's grasp. However the same wouldn't be said for Gren or his allies; they could make contact with the mech just fine. Gren stepped forward slowly as The God Eater changed from it's Destroyer Form to it's Terror Form. "Time to scrap this thing." Gren muttered as the teeth of The God Eater roared to life. The first thing he went after was legs; he slammed his weapon onto the mech's lower back where it was thinnest. A loud screeching pierced the air as metal-on-metal ripped against each other. It almost muffled Gren's laughter.

With a momentous crash, the titan fell. Abel backed away hastily to avoid its collapsing mass, and turned his face away to avoid the spray of dust and stone shards kicked up by its impact with the floor. It didn't take long for the airborne debris to settle, but in that moment, both Gren and Kuhaku had gone to work. The armored one's chainsaw revved like a monstrous motorcycle before it was unleashed on the metal husk. Abel's eardrums were assaulted as the shriek of ripping metal reverberated through the tunnel, surpassed only by the maniacal laugh of the man who caused it.

After quickly overcoming his alarm at having such a lunatic as a teammate, Abel went to work. He circled around the feebly struggling mecha until he opposite Gren's vicious attack. As he did so, he noticed Kuhaku standing on top of it, apparently having yanked his blade from the robot's abdomen. By combining his shield and his sword, the Faunus created a large axe that Abel didn't need better lighting to know was impressive. By the time the guardian was in position, Kuhaku had already begun whaling on the mecha's upper chest, clearly targeting its neck.

One of the machine's arms began to rise, using its own elbow as support to combat its lack of friction. The arm moved steadily toward the oblivious Kuhaku on its torso with the intent of shoving him off. Abel leaned forward and poked the mecha's joint with the Ampere's tip, causing it to lose its precious balance and fall back to the ground again. Abel took the opportunity to target a cable poking out from between two armor plates on the mecha's bicep. On the second try he severed it, and the arm twitched before slumped down onto the ground. Next, he worked his way toward the shoulder. Upon finding a groove between two segments, he inserted the Ampere's blade before throwing his whole body weight across it. The leverage proved enough to tear loose whatever screws or rivets were holding the thing in place and let it clatter against the floor. Once he had righted himself, Abel busied himself with wrecking the upper arm's inner workings, trying to phase out the demonic laughter and steady sundering of the robot's waist.

In no time, the job was done. The robot's right arm wouldn't be moving again. A deep shriek from Abel's own right announced that the mecha's head had departed its body. Abel added to the din by reading his Ampere and then slicing downward in an overhead arc with every ounce of his might. His weapon's blade bulldozed through the right arm's joint, crushing what it didn't cut, and severing the limb.

“Big guy!” Abel glanced up where the ripping noise had come from a moment ago and found Kuhaku grinning down at him. He could barely hear the Faunus over the cacophony that was Gren. “I have an idea! Use those muscles and toss that arm into the air!”
Two auburn eyebrows shot up. “What's the point of that?”
“Just do it!”
The Ampere clanged against the piece of armor plating it had dislodged. Abel crouched and put his arms beneath the detached limb, getting a feel for its weight. For a being without aura, this hunk of metal would be insurmountable, but not for he. The guardian grit his teeth and lifted, making a strained, throaty gargling noise--Rgggggghhhhh! Once the limb was a few inches off the ground, he paused and inhaled, his eyes screwed closed. In the background, the roar of the Destroyer ground to a halt as Gren stopped it to yank it free. The mecha murmured, and moved slightly. Abel's eyes flashed open, a brilliant azure blue in the poor light, veins bulged on his forehead, and he bodily threw the limb into the air.

Following the flying arm was Kuhaku. Employing his remarkable speed, Kuhaku flashed past it, arriving at the top of his arc just before the limb did. The Faunus snarled and kicked off the metal powerfully. With a eerie serenity the limb hung in the air for a moment before returning to earth at high speed, slamming into the mecha's battered chest and obliterating the armor there. The force of the impact, combined with Gren's sustained assault, was enough to part torso from waist, rendering the machine helpless. Kuhaku landed a few dozen feet away from the robot, shouting “Bridgett! Kill its heart!”

Robert grabbed onto Tai's weapon and allowed himself to be pulled up by him. After reaching the top, Robert said, "Thanks Tai. Also, could you not mention to the rest of the team how much of an idiot I made myself look back there?" Robert wasn't actually expecting an answer, he said it more as a joke then as a serious request. He really didn't want Tai to tell everyone else how much of a fool he looked while trying to climb up in all seriousness, though. He walked by Greyson and saw the doctors helping him with his leg. Robert looked at his own injuries, "Sure I hurt my arm, but Greyson helped re- re-," He searched for the right word in his head. "-put it back where it was supposed to go. I don't have any other injuries except minor cuts and bruises, a mild sunburn, and some Rapier Wasp stings. I don't need any doctors for that." Then he continued into the airship to escape the rays of the blazing sun. As he entered, he noticed Priscilla sitting down and walked towards her. As he walked though, he didn't notice his untied laces and fell flat on his face. "Gah!" was all he said before colliding with the airship's metal flooring. "Ow," he said as he got up. He looked at Priscilla. She seemed lost in though earlier, did she notice him embarrass himself right in front of her?

Priscilla couldn't stop thinking about Greyson, she wanted to knownif he was alright or not. As she got up from where she was sitting, she noticed Robert walking towards her and falling right on his face, she wanted to laugh but actually, she did. It was cute how he fell, she shooked her head walking towards him and helping him up. "Haha. Are you alright?" An eyebrow raised as she asked the question. Priscilla turned her head noticing her other teammates, Tai and Greyson she waved at them, and looked at Greyson nodding at him, yes she was worried but she knew that he was going to be okay! Priscilla would help Robert to a sit as she sat down right next to him. "So. Are you alright?" She couldnt help but to ask again because thats what she was, worried and a little tired, exhausted in other words because she was all over the place, running and stuff. "And when you asked earlier about our lives and what not. I didnt want to say nothing. Because my past isn't that nice.." Priscilla bit her bottom lips, as she cuffed a string of her pink hair behind her ear as she looks up at Robert, giving him a small smile.

Greyson got an actual crutch after they bandaged his leg and put it in a weak cast so it will heal properly as Greyson grabbed one of the rocks he put in his pouch and limped over to a seat near Priscilla and Robert he put his blade down and started his sharpening, the rock he used had a blunt end and was generally used for his sharpening although it would take a long time for his blade to get its sharpness back the rock would be able to last far longer and be useful for at least 3 more full sharpening if used correctly. Greyson smiled at Priscilla and listened as she talked about her past and Greyson can understand where she was coming from but at least Greyson has a new life thanks to what his father did so he doesn't regret it. If anything Priscilla and the others were a family that could kick some soda badass monsters! That was great all it's own even if Greyson was starting to have a thing for Priscilla in the process. ..

With as low grunt, Tai braced himself as Robert grabbed a hold of the bottom of his weapon that hung down, and pulled. It was somewhat slow going, sure, but eventually he managed to hoist his partner up and over the edge of the cliff. As Robert brushed himself off or whatever, Tai reconnected his weapon and put it back in travel mode, taking some deep breathes as he stretched his arms. "Sure," he replied succinctly. It wasn't any skin off his back after all.

So together they headed towards the ship, moving past Greyson who was getting his leg treated, and Tai was glad that his Aura was still fully functioning at this point. Did it say something that he was the only one to come out of this relatively uninjured? Well, if he was the only conservative fighter in the group, then there might be issues in terms of cooperation. He looked as Robert commented on his own injuries, and continued on for the airship, trusting him when he said he didn't need medical attention.

And then entering the ship, Tai was there to watch Robert trip and face plant on the deck, though fortunately Priscilla came over and helped him up. Yep, Tai had a feeling that he had a partner with some of the worst luck ever. He'd have to watch out for that if he didn't want to get caught in the general radius of effect as well. Otherwise he could predict all sorts of problems for the next four years.

He sat down with a sigh, glad to have the chance to relax his legs. "I'm fine," he confirmed with a small wave to Priscilla, even though he knew the question hadn't been directed at him, but rather his clumsy partner. Other than that, he sat where he was and waited for the other teams to arrive, and just listened. It was what he was good at after all.

"Bridgett! Kill its heart!"

Bridgett let a slow smile spread across her lips, "Gladly..." She pulled her weapon back to her and with a flick of her good wrist she wrapped a length of chain around her forearm while she paced up to the broken machine. She started slowly spinning the bladed end of her weapon the sound of it slicing the air mixing with the grinding of slipped gears and the hissing of pneumatic pumps attempting to lift up the broken wreck. As she stepped up onto the twitching mass, she periodically increased the speed of her spinning blade, each time severing wires and fuel lines.

When she finally got up to the torso of the beast, she focused all her aura on spinning her blade faster and faster and faster until it was nothing more than a blur in the air and it sounded like and angry buzz saw tearing through the air. With a triumphant shout she flung her blade into the heart of the beast the sound of shearing metal creating a cacophony louder than any of the weapons currently going off in the tunnel. Shards of circuitry flew out from the beast in every direction, oil and fuel spewing out in great gouts from within. And with a final chocking cough the mech finally died.

"There" Bridgett panted, "That ought to do it. Someone want to open the box and see what we won? I'm a little worn out" to accentuate her point she staggered to the tunnel wall and slid down to a sitting position.

After tearing the robot to it's pare parts, it was finally over. Gren's throat was sore with laughter, but it felt great. They defeated the mech and everyone was alive. Bridget would need some medical attention, but they lived. But there was one more thin. A part of the mech they haven't touched yet. Gren's helmet scanned the mech's back and noticed that the box on it contained some sort of object. If he could guess, it was the Artifacts. Putting the God Eater away Gren was easily able to tear the box off the mech's back. He dug through the mech's body even further, jury rigging it's power source to it's lights to illuminate the cave for everyone. Putting the box somewhere where everyone could see, Gren looked towards his team. "Well than... The moment of truth. Let's see what's inside."

Gren began to pry open the container...
