The seals are Captain level Im sure. So I dont think you can use the ones that are known unless its one that people in the rp made and is below Captain level.

Thats the thing. I asked Kurisa bout the Mastery thing a while back and he said

Kurisa said
Mastery means they can learn and use skills that only Captains would otherwise be able to learn. this does not mean they are at Captain power though, they are weaker than the ones used by Captain masters. Basically Captains can use them at full power and lower rank Shinigami use them at a weaker level but can yeah..use them non the less if they focus solely on that area


so Gio, having mastered Kido is capable of captain class kido...just not with captain class power. Thats all well good and fine. I was going to make one, (or multiple) up and have him learn them, but i cant do that if there is no foundation. Seals aren't common knowledge. he would have to research them a bit before he even started using them. I just want to know if there is an issue with him begining to research them now.

I get a lot of PM's, it's easy for messages to get buried. There are other GM's who can give me the message that there is something for me to look at. If you can't get through to me directly then ask them and they can.

Thought the mastery only bumped it up to the next level. Like if you are seated a mastery allows you to use lieutenant moves in certain categories?

I thought that's how it worked too.

Seated > Lieutenant

Lieutenant > Captain

Like If it instanly bumped yo up to Captain level moves, then that would make seated people nightmares to fight.
